Rebuffed, because Putin is a criminal dictator who terrorizes and murders his own people, invades his neighbors and stands against most European values. Shocking. Russia is in the process of floundering further and further into isolated, failing obscurity. Are they in Odessa yet? 🤡🤡🤡2 points

Jim Acosta is a TDS infected little weasel. He picked fights with the first Trump admin trying to make a big splash...and got his a55 handed to him. Now he's tucking his tail between his legs and running away a failure. Bye Bye Jimmy...you self-serving jack-a55.2 points

Perhaps Acosta's most earth shattering report was when he was standing in front of a border wall during Trump's first term while he says nobody is trying to cross here, so why is there a wall?😅2 points

but as Ian Lee has said, the Liberals welcome Trump as their saviour the Liberals replace Trudeau with Carney, then they run against Trump as the defenders of Canada while portraying Poillievre as a pro-Trump Quisling then the Liberals get to do what they want to do anyways; which is to tariff and subsidize Canadian industry as a result because that is the source of all their power1 point

Here are a couple examples of false claims coming from Trump lately. It is impossible to know if he actually believes these things himself or knows they are false. One would think with all the advisors around him, he would be told the truth. But who knows. quote Canadians’ views on becoming the 51st state Trump said Thursday of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: “I called him Governor Trudeau because they should be the 51st state, really. It would make a great state. And the people of Canada like it.” Facts First: Trump’s categorical claim that “the people of Canada like it” is false. Though it’s certainly possible to find Canadians who support the idea of Canada becoming the 51st state, the idea is overwhelmingly unpopular with the Canadian public as a whole. A December poll by the firm Leger found that 82% of Canadians said they didn’t like the idea and just 13% said they liked it. The idea has been denounced by federal and provincial Canadian leaders from left to right. The US trade deficit with Canada Trump said Tuesday that the US has a “$200 billion” trade deficit with Canada. Facts First: False. The US goods and services trade deficit with Canada was about $40.6 billion in 2023, according to the US government’s Bureau of Economic Analysis, nowhere close to “$200 billion.” Even if you only consider trade in goods and ignore the services trade at which the US excels, the US deficit with Canada was about $72.3 billion in 2023, the bureau reported, still far shy of Trump’s figure. And it’s worth noting that the deficit is overwhelmingly caused by the US importing a large quantity of inexpensive Canadian oil, which helps keep Americans’ gas prices down. unquote Fact check: Debunking Trump’s false claims about Canada | CNN Politics Why is evangelical Christians would vote for someone like this is the question. I think the reason is because the system is only a two party system and politics is not a Christian enterprise. Both sides appear to be acting or believing in un-Christian ways and policies in many ways. If Christian do not vote, then they leave the choice for government entirely to the non-believers who do not uphold biblical principles of right and wrong generally speaking. The system only allows one candidate to be chosen for each party and in the case of the Republicans, the candidate with the most popularity was someone who has questionable ideas. There simply is no choice. Each side has serious issues.1 point

President Trump is simply making an example of Canada "America's closest ally & trading partner" so when the President crushes Canada from on high it sends a message to the rest of the world "don't f*ck with us ; look what we just did to Canada, imagine what we will do to you"1 point

How about some goat Herb? You probably thought the fridge connected to the villages only generator had vaccines or some such in it ...right. Nope, it's actually full of beer.1 point

He can but it might affect his re-election chances As far as the left is concerned always. Gun control was wrong and it failed, so the left demanded more of it. Safe supply turned out to be an unmitigated disaster and wrong at every level yet the left is still clamoring for more of it. Excessive spending and borrowing has trashed our economy yet the left demands we double down. In fact the entire story of the left is a group of people who believe that if one wrong doesn't solve the problem then doing it twice will fix everything. That and lying. You've been saying that for decades now1 point

I don't think you understand what jurisdiction means when it comes to people Also if that's your definition are you saying that somebody born in Hawaii wouldn't be a citizen? Or that somebody born On an American registered ship wouldn't be considered a citizen? Soil doesn't actually mean soil, and jurisdiction isn't quite as clear as you think.1 point

Before long, some here may come to appreciate what the folks they labeled "you people" have repeatedly warned them about. There's nothing like looking around and realizing that the article you just read detailing what you're doing looks nothing like what you see out the window (or on the FLIR). All it takes is experience... mostly bad. When you see government (like the DOJ), security services (especially intelligence) and the media singing from the same page of music in three part harmony you should pay close attention to the song being sung. And... you should do that whether you like the tune or not. That was the message YOU PEOPLE previously refused to acknowledge... now you people sound exactly like the people you used to call "you people." And if you can't wrap your head around that the issues that spawned the issues you now decry will be revisited at 4 year intervals. "Nature runs a restaurant called Karma. It's a place where there is no need to place any order. You are automatically served what you deserve."1 point

Sure, you make it sound like you're reporting things you personally saw. I only have the word of a couple of sexually abused friends so... Then there's the evidence of how abuse caused intergenerational and community wide damage that's still very prevalent throughout First Nations across Canada. It suggests you may be right, abuse is as rampant and widespread amongst us any anyone. It neatly explains why so much of our non-indigenous society is also so fùcked up dysfunctional and abusive and especially with Catholics. It must have rubbed off on students - most every normal kid I knew avoided walking by the Catholic school in my neighborhood. Little psychopathic bastards, like Isis terrorist cells, loved ganging up on us. At least they were forced to wear uniforms so we could see them coming.1 point

Thank you for the link, but i did not find ANY thing in that link that said US military could not assist other government departments, IE providing transport or any other assistance other than they were not authorized to conduct Civil law enforcement without authorization from the law... DO you have proof they were not authorized by law....That being said nobody said they were involved in civilian law enforcement only providing a mode of transportation of unwanted people that were in violation of your laws... Military assist many government departments all the time, without getting involved in civil law enforcement...We have the same laws up here. And our military provide assistance all the time to civilian governmental agencies....1 point

There were brief spates where the riots were every night in multiple cities for weeks, but in general there were riots almost every weekend somewhere or other in the US. There wasn't a month went by in all that time where there weren't riots somewhere. In all, the number of BLM riots is definitely in the hundreds, and none of them turned out to be about "black men who were wrongfully killed by police". It was a series of MSM false narratives. Of course it had to do with BLM. On January 3, Hill and Tesfaye Cooper drove the victim to the apartment of sisters Brittany and Tanishia Covington, where the four tied up and tortured the victim for hours.[3] Brittany, the younger of the two Covington sisters, began a Facebook Live stream, broadcasting the attackers laughing as they bound, gagged, beat, and taunted the victim, cut out part of his scalp with a knife, made him kiss the floor, and forced him to drink from a toilet. [3][4][1] They screamed "F*** white people" and forced the victim to repeat them in shouting "F*** Trump".[1][5] One of the perpetrators contacted the victim's mother and demanded a $300 ransom for the victim's return.[6] The Facebook Live stream captured only 28 minutes of what was an hours-long attack. Police suspected that the perpetrators stopped and left the apartment when downstairs neighbors complained about noise levels.[3] So that happened in January 2017, after 2.5 years of relentless BLM rioting. Are you trying to pretend that all of that racial hatred had nothing to do with the fact that those black kids, aged 18, 18, 18 and 24 yrs, just spent the last 3 years being bombarded with hate messaging from BLM, the Dems and CNN? 3 of them heard nothing on the news from the time they were 15.5 yrs old to 18 yrs old but "Cops hate blacks. Cops are racist. Cops kill black men. Defund the police", and you don't think that influenced their hate crime? If BLM never existed, they still woulda done that? Get a life. Stop protecting BLM. It's actually YOUR community that they're doing all the damage to with their hate-mongering. It was absolutely attacked. Over 60 secret service agents were injured enough to require treatment. The crowd threw bricks, bottles, molotovs and shot fireworks at them. Trump had to go down into the bunker. They even burned down a church there, and probably other buildings as well. That was BLM. The riots are fictional to you because CNN would have called them "mostly peaceful protests" and you don't think for yourself. There are 52 weeks in a year, times 2 full years, plus 26 weeks in 2014 and 12 weeks in 2020. That's 142 weeks of rioting. Some of those 142 weeks had 7 nights of rioting in multiple cities. Most of those weeks had one or two nights in a few cities. Very few of those weeks had no riots at all. To say that there were 800 (riots + assaults + BLM-inspired terrorist attacks) isn't a stretch at all. 220 in 3 months, and you don't think there were 580 riots in 2.5 years? That's 10x as long... There were at least 800 events where the police did or should have intervened to protect people and property from violent rioters. For sure more than 95% of the political violence in the US has come from BLMers, as well as 95% of the racial hate crimes.1 point

Can't speak to residential schools but I got the strap when I was in Grade 6. It hurt a bit but so what, it sure as hell didn't traumatize anyone I knew. It was part of growing up. Yeah, funny thing a good friend of mine who is somewhat older even than I am grew up in an orphanage in Quebec. When he hears about the conditions in the first nations schools back in the day he says they were identical to what he lived through as well. The orphanages were run by the catholic church of course. Yet the first nations would have us believe they are the only group that ever experienced anything negative in the history of Canada1 point

As has been explained to you a billion times 1) that's because of issues specific to the US for the most part and 2) any credit for any better performace in Canada would go to the premiers. Trudeau got us the vaccines late, gave away tonnes of ppe to china just as we wound up running out, and turned people against each other and made the situation worse The premiers did all the hard stuff But as usual you have to lie because the truth doesn't suit your bigoted hate filled narrative.1 point

Not to be sour grapes but there were two calls that the refs whiffed on. its not a matter of judgment.. they simply were wrong. The fourth down call when Buffalo was leading 22-21 and the pass play immediately preceding that. A simple replay shows that Knox was short of the first down by about 6 inches not a yard. on the 4th down play.. replay shows that Allen crossed the first down marker by roughly 3 inches.1 point

Its not terrible. Europe is having a panic attack because they know they can't deal with Ukraine alone and Trump plus at least half of the US voting public, don't think the USA should be paying for a war on the other side of the ocean. The poodles in Europe are not capable of dealing with the Russians on their own and Trump is going to find a peace deal that he and Putin can live with, and then dictate that to Comic-Boy and the poodles. Lesson of this debacle? Europe needs to stand on its own feet for a change.1 point

I know you make the case for Confederation being a kind of reclamation of the Confederacy, but it’s also important to remember that British North America had its own complex history since the beginning of the American Revolution until 1867. I know you’ve also mentioned Confederation being a shotgun wedding due to fears of American expansionism and the Fenians after the Civil War, but also remember the great achievement that Confederation was in terms of creating peace between Protestants and Catholics, anglophones and francophones. The Canadians of today forget those histories except the anti-colonial Residential School genocidal Canada narrative disseminated by the Post-National Liberals. These people hypocritically claim to represent Canadian values and sovereignty while undermining it through woke messaging in schools and government speeches and policies. This government has also burdened its population with internationalist projects like ESG and fighting the “climate crisis”, meanwhile expanding government, raising the cost of living, and flooding the country with immigrants from everywhere that isn’t representative of the country’s cultural roots. How does any of that represent anything Canadian or serve Canadians? It certainly isn’t helping us economically as productivity, birth rates, and incomes lag the U.S. Basically our government has given us the worst of both worlds: less national independence and lower living standards. Why would I believe that this federal government serves Canada and Canadians more than Washington? At least Washington defends us.1 point
