  1. NATO stirred the pot decades ago when it refused admission for Russia and encouraged former Soviet republics and satellites to join the western alliance at a time when the Cold War appeared to end and the opportunity for warm relations with Russia finally arose. Most Crimeans want to stay in Russia. It was originally part of Russia. Russia wanted the Donbas region to be independent because of the mixed groups (Russian and Ukrainian) and old Russian territory claims. Ukraine supported this plan in the Turkey summit with Russia until they realized that the US, Canada, and other countries would fund a proxy war. Now there’s no political resolution and endless suffering and war in Ukraine. How many more billions are Canadians willing to pay for Freeland’s war? We need a concrete timeline for a political solution.

  3. Once again we confuse a women's rights issue with a left/right issue. And MEN with such systematic misogyny to claim the right to decide. Bring on a vote among women only and lose this "states rights" bullshit idea while you're at it, that's the exact opposite of democracy. The USA has sunk into a third world shithole and with yesyerdays SCOTUS ruling all the women marching can legally carry concealed weapons. Just watch the fun begin

  4. Leftists love to talk like they are making some sort of point but they really aren't. Men can't get pregnant now? So confused. I thought they were saying men could get pregnant like last week at pride events. Abortion should be allowed because some men don't pay child support? OK sort of a weak argument but whatever. People should have control over their own body... unless they choose not to vaccinate then that's a grave sin and they deserve to be punished and fired from a job of 25 years because of it... All hot air fake outrage from these lunatics

  8. You are only repeating Russia's bullshit. No that doesn't justify in any way, even very minimal one, Russia's invasion of a sovereign European nation anymore than did fake pretexts of Nazi's. There may be devil himself residing in Ukraine and still it wouldn't justify Russia barging in and behaving like a devilish horde without any reason. Russia is Nazi 2.0 of this time, it's that simple.

  9. I just don’t think that’s a fair anology. Russia is asserting defence on its doorstep. However, Russia must not rule over any region that doesn’t want Russia to do so. Really Russia can and must only walk away with Crimea and assurances of protection for the Russophiles in Dombas. The Russians say they want to rebuild like they did successfully in Chechnya. The West must draw a line in the sand on further encroachment from Russia. They can do that through EU defense. Leave Ukraine out of NATO or we’ll be funding endless civil war in Eastern Europe.

  10. Remember when we shamed nursing mothers who asked if the adverse reactions they were seeing in their newborns were due to them getting the vaccines? Remember when we were all assured that "shedding" was a conspiracy theory and did not happen? In fact - UC San Diego Health came right out and said "there are NO serious vaccine side effects in nursing mothers or their infants" and that shedding was a conspiracy theory and anyone who said otherwise was an "anti-vaxxer"? (Sept. 8, 2021) Turns out, in the Pfizer docs released on April 1 - of 133 nursing mothers, there were 17 cases of vaccinated mothers shedding to their breastfed babies and causing adverse reactions (that's 13%) and 3 of them were "serious". It is not the "harmless passing on of antibodies" that the media claimed it to be. Maybe have a look at some of the videos of newborns with uncontrolled neurological shaking and apologize to those mothers who you all said it was perfectly safe to take the vax in pregnancy. It's not the "conspiracy theorists" spreading misinformation. It's you guys.

  11. More and more scientists and doctors are conducting studies regarding the covd jabs and information is coming out at breakneck speed. It will be harder for governments and public health officers to deny what is going on. This study was conducted by top folks in their field. Co-authored by Sander Greenland, who wrote more than a few of the most widely used epidemiology textbooks. Serious Adverse Events of Special Interest Following mRNA Vaccination in Randomized Trials by Joseph Fraiman, Juan Erviti, Mark Jones, Sander Greenland, Patrick Whelan, Robert M. Kaplan, Peter Doshi :: SSRN It's starting to look like more and more experts in the fields of epidemiology, virology, immunology and biology are willing to "cross the Fauci, get the ouchy", as they have been saying. I'm attaching the study's abstract. Basically the detailed tables at the end of the study show: For every 6.4 people that Moderna kept out of the hospital for covid, it inflicted 15.1 serious adverse events. For every 2.3 people that Pfizer kept out of the hospital for covid, it inflicted 10.1 serious adverse events. Cost/Benefit analysis is supposed to be the bedrock of medicine's foundation. Up til recently, practitioners and researchers have been forced to do a different cost/benefit analysis and saw the risk of speaking out as too high relative to the benefits. The winged monkeys and their useful idiots have been savage in relentlessly attacking anyone who dared to speak of the risks and balancing them with the gains. The "zero-covid uber bullies" have preached burning the village to save it and I believe the average person has not been ready to hear a different narrative anyways, given the steady diet of fear and "case numbers" screeched at us every 15 minutes for more than 2 years. No system where the true experts are afraid to speak can function for long. But us "little people" need to start paying attention to these studies. Push windows, move the debate and shield those brave enough to speak out. It's discourse or dictatorship. The price of the former is hearing people say things you don't like. The price of the latter is everything else. Choose wisely. Trudeau rules and dictates by popular opinion. If you want him to start paying attention to the science, then you have to MAKE HIM. He cannot lead. He follows. But he will only do so if pushed and he will do so desperately because he is late to the pivot. He will pretend to be righteously indignant. We are beginning a slow, painful recovery from derangement, but that's how recovery works. We need to give Pfizer an all-expense paid trip to under the bus of emerging truth because the truth is too vast to be engulfed by this massive lie. Otherwise:

Another state will say yes to abortions. If some woman wants to have an abortion in a no go abortion state then they are free to go to a pro abortion state. Why can't those lunatic emotional liberals accept that? Those pro abortion demonstrators are just showing us all as to just how many stupid lefty liberal buffoons there are in America. She told me she was seeing and treating massive numbers of Bell's Palsy. She said she would ask them when they were last jabbed and which brand they had. Most were recently jabbed with Pfizer. I think a lot of people are realizing that their sudden NEW health issues are caused by the jabs but there are still lots who are happily continuing to play Russian Roulette with the jabs and stubbornly refuse to connect their issues with the jabs.

But the Azovs attacked the Donbas right after the referendum and have been attacking that region ever since. 4. 27. Given at least half the states appear to be ready to ban or severely restrict abortions maybe now Americans will have definable regions of the US they can move to where they can be amongst their own kind. Perhaps America's 2nd Civil War won't need to be a violent affair now that they'll have the choice to relocate or stay in their red or blue regions or even countries one day. There may be a silver lining here.

  31. "...the system severely limits the choice by imposing the condition of a single winner, as opposed to every vote counts." How do you have multiple winners in each riding? How many winners. How large a Parliament can we accommodate? Instead of 338 MP's you want 676 or 1014 MP's at $183,000 a piece? How would anyone be able to obtain and retain the confidence of the house in that environment? Plus, you would have to rebuild the Parliament buildings from scratch and we haven't even completed the renovations currently underway. And you want to have a team of minders watching over each one to keep them accountable. If everyone is a "winner", why bother with elections?

  33. You seem to be ignoring the history or you don’t know it. Russia is out of line and civilians have suffered unnecessarily. There are quite opposed forces within parts of Ukraine itself and the current government imprisoned the leader of the opposition. The first Ukraine military group trained by NATO is the the Neo-Nazi Azov Brigade. Even the NY Times call them that. Ukraine has had somewhat oppressive policies towards ethnic minorities such as Hungarians, and yes, Russians. I’m just saying it’s complicated and I don’t know what the endgame is for what we’re funding.

  35. Long COVID after breakthrough SARS-CoV-2 infection | Nature Medicine Double, triple and quadruple jabbed who get breakthrough covid are at higher risk of long hauler syndrome as compared to unjabbed. Accumulation of toxic spike protein is likely the reason, as scientists now know that there is no way to stop the body from continually producing spike after the jabs. Giant mistake to load up on spike every 3-6 months.

  38. I don’t think so at all. I’m not saying they could occupy Ukraine in 48 hours but they have the weapons. Look, it’s not in Russia’s interests to cut down civilians. They’re clearly securing land passage between the Crimea and Donbas. Of course it’s not okay, but where is our maintenance of war leading? Is the idea that after several years Russia will leave so western countries can run it like Afghanistan? Like, settle the borders and draw up treaties and military assurances and move on. Canada is the second largest donor to Ukraine and it’s tens of billions.
    1 point
  39. That is not a verifiable perspective and is not what Russia has done. Russia could’ve wiped Ukraine off the map in 48 hours. I don’t know their full objective and either do you. I don’t see the value in prolonging a war without a clear objective. If the US invaded Canada their own constitution would require democratic representation. Perhaps a better analogy to the situation in Ukraine is to consider how the US would feel if Canada decided to join the Warsaw Pact and our government started receiving arms and funding from Russia. You need to read about the Ukrainian attacks on Crimea, Azov Brigade, civil war in Donbas, etc. Clearly a line must be drawn against Russia, but what is it? We don’t know.
    1 point
  40. President Putin's objective was not just Crimea and the Donbas. Like Stalin, he wanted to take all of Ukraine. For Russia to invade the Ukraine is the same as if the USA invaded Canada. Ukrainians still remember the terrible crimes the Russians committed against the Ukraine, particularly the famine in the 1930's and is being repated now. You are calling for appeasement. That is a policy that will encourage Putin to invade NATO countries and that will cause a nuclear war.

  42. Justin Trudeau as seen through the eyes of a Czech writer. Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way that you can quickly understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. It was translated into English from an article in a Prague newspaper. Prague newspaper quote. "The danger to Canada is not Justin Trudeau, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him as Prime Minister. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of a Trudeau government than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man as their leader. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Justin Trudeau, who is a mere symptom of what ails Canada. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. Canada can survive Trudeau, who is after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive the multitude of fools who made him their Prime Minister."

  45. Not only do you not know jack sh*t about my country, all you have posted so far is Leftist BS and propaganda. Here is some simple science, written so simply that even you might understand: A human being is a human being regardless of that human being's stage of development. Got it Vlad? All humans have human rights. The most fundamental of all human rights is the Right to Life. It is the rights that all other rights depend on. Very simple. Abortion violates that most fundamental of human rights. Again, so simple a child could understand. The atheist’s case against abortion: respect for human rights https://www.americamagazine.org/politics-society/2017/10/19/atheists-case-against-abortion-respect-human-rights I am an atheist, a 29-year-old woman, well-educated at secular institutions, and I lean liberal on many issues, including same-sex marriage and climate change. I am also a dedicated pro-life activist, working to make abortion unthinkable. The abortion industry would have you believe that people like me do not exist. They would have you believe that the pro-life movement is almost exclusively old white men, with a few pearl-clutching church ladies thrown in. This characterization is insulting to both young and old. The older pro-life leaders of today are the pioneering young adult activists of the 1970s, who courageously dissented from Roe v. Wade. And they have recruited new generations of pro-lifers to follow in their footsteps; millennials in the movement call ourselves the “pro-life generation.” There are important differences between the millennial generation and those that came before. One of the biggest is religion. The well-reported decline in church attendance is driven largely by young adults. Over a third of millennials tell pollsters they have no religious affiliation, compared with 23 percent for Generation X and 17 percent for baby boomers. And even among millennials who have maintained a religious affiliation, many favor same-sex marriage and show less appetite for the “culture war” than their elders do. Yet this more secular generation still shows up to save preborn children and their mothers from the tragedy of abortion. This puzzles some abortion supporters, who had assumed they would benefit from demographic changes. The key to understanding this discrepancy is to realize that it is not a discrepancy at all: We see abortion not as a culture war issue or as a religious issue but as a human rights issue.

  46. 1. Remember when the doctors and scientists who talked about natural immunity were branded "conspiracy theorists" and those of us who posted information on natural immunity were "fact-checked" as being wrong? Turns out, in the new Pfizer docs released on April 1 - Pfizer, the CDC and the FDA all knew natural immunity was true and was better than the vaccine. 2. Remember when anyone who said there were serious adverse events happening in age groups who were at no risk of dying from covid and you all said they were "Tinfoil hatters" and called the events "rare" or the people who experienced them "liars" and refused to read the studies or look at the videos because they were on platforms you didn't like? Turns out, in the new Pfizer docs released on April 1 - Pfizer already knew that AE's happened more frequently in younger age groups AND increased as the more shots you got. 3. Remember when anyone who said the vaccines were not studied for fertility in either men or women, pregnancy, or nursing and suggested we needed more studies before we started forcing pregnant women to vaccinate? Remember when the media kept saying it was perfectly safe during pregnancy and women risked dying or their infant dying if they didn't get the jabs? Turns out in the new Pfizer docs released on April 1 - "The effects of the covid-19 vaccine on a pregnancy, a fetus or a nursing child are not known." Turns out - babies died in the study. But we dont' know how many because they "lost track" of 238 out of the 270 pregnant women in the study. 4. Remember when doctors and scientists who talked about ADE (where you take the vaccine and end up being sick much worse than you would have been without it) were shamed and blacklisted and censored? Turns out, in the new Pfizer docs released on April 1 - "It cannot be ruled out that the study vaccine could make a later covid illness more severe." Turns out - this is actually happening, too. (See the above Ontario data or any other country's data.)
