  1. As explained by Helen Mirren on FB. the strongest thing you can do is walk away—not because you have nothing to say, but because you recognize that some people aren’t ready to listen. LIARS are never ready to listen. They are just here to beat you over the head with their NONSENSE and INSULTS. That is why I have 4 on ignore now.

  2. If only I had known about this before, though, I might have put people on ignore. I mean, I'd feel better about it if I knew Judi Dench or Meryl Streep agreed.

  3. The Dow was up to 44.9 and now it's down to 41.2, a 9% loss. I'm really surprised to see Trump hang onto his war on Canadian manufacturing in the face of these losses. When this NA trade war ends the Dow will make all that ground back quickly. Investors respond sharply to strength when it's applied properly, like is happening with DOGE.

  4. I mean it is so very typical leftist to ignore differing views. It plays to their tendencies. They tend to ignore voter sentiment when it disagrees with them and then call that democracy or an attack on democracy depending on who won the election. They also tend to ignore data, theories and science that doesn't play to their ideology. They enjoy sounding chambers that do nothing but repeat preferred ideological theories. As a result, they would prefer to dismiss any dissenting opinions or facts by degrading those that oppose them.

  5. Isn't is rather curious that 2/3 of Liberal members were disqualified from voting? The mainstream media doesn't seem interested in this....oh right, it's the mainstream media.🙄

  6. It's no secret that the vast majority of Democrats believe Donald Trump is Hitler reborn. Hell, the ldiots below all but say it in their stupid rants: https://democrats.org/news/🚨-trumps-inauguration-features-neo-nazis-and-hitler-salutes-from-top-ally/ So where are the concentration camps? Where are the military invasions? Where is the 2nd Holocaust? Does anyone really know what in the f*ck these retards are crying about?

  7. The article argues that the Freedom Convoy was not an insurrection but a legitimate protest against government overreach. It refutes claims that the convoy was violent, extremist, or attempted to overthrow the government, highlighting inconsistencies in media and political narratives. The author criticizes the use of emergency powers, freezing of bank accounts, and the treatment of convoy leaders like Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, calling it an authoritarian overreach. The piece also challenges accusations of foreign funding, Nazi affiliations, and business disruptions, citing legal rulings and intelligence reports that found no security threats. Ultimately, the article warns that labeling protests as insurrections sets a dangerous precedent for democracy. Read the article here: https://substack.com/home/post/p-158630451

  8. Mark Carney had more visibility than the other candidates, journalists and political commentators only talked about Marc Carney to the point that I only heard about Frank Bailis during the leaders' debate and I didn't know he was a candidate, but it is certain that when a candidate has more visibility than another or others he will automatically have more popular support, so he fraudulently usurped the Liberal throne and the position of Prime Minister because the media manipulated the leadership race, the police must investigate and put those responsible for the fraud in prison and remove him from his position.

  12. I am Canadian and conservative, and i do live in Canada, and i do support the conservative party of Canada. Anyone who supports the WEF liberals or the NDP communists are pretty much traitors to Canada. Just look at what those two clown, political party's have done to Canada in the past 9 years. We went from a pretty stable country to now becoming a woke and broke country. Another four more years of WEF liberalism and NDP socialism and the Canada of the past will be no more. We may soon become a totally bankrupt and will be living in a slavery and tyranny like country. Carney is a WEF globalist shill and he will do whatever the WEF globalists tell him to do. Corney cannot win the next election or Canadians are pretty much doomed. Just my opinion.

  13. Looks like you defeated your own argument there. The nature of a President's ability to declare what constitutes an emergency has been used long before Trump. Nothing illegal here and no real court precedents binding Trump here either.

  17. I doubt it will have any real impact, which is a shame because to beat crystal clear what they're doing is horribly horribly wrong as I have already said in other posts. It is not protest when you deliberately destroy people's private property because you're mad at someone that happens to work for the company. This is absolutely horribly wrong and the people should be caught and prosecuted but I doubt very much that that will happen. If anything I suspect this will increase the number of incidents

  18. It would be surprising to me if there wasn’t a cover-up of sex crimes in an organization like the SBC. Sex crimes happen everywhere and religious bodies conceal them everywhere. Anyway, dear reader, you be the judge: https://religionnews.com/2022/05/22/sbc-abuse-report-for-decades-southern-baptist-leaders-denied-abuse-misled-trustees-mistreated-survivors-guidepost-johnny-hunt/ Here’s the report. 23. See? This is why you're on ignore. The FBI even came to the conclusion that the BSL4 lab is most likely the source of the leak, but even considering that as a possibility is impossible for you. The "St Fauci and the Bad, Bad Pangolin" narrative is indelibly seared into your memory and nothing can challenge that: it's your hill to die on because you saw it on CNN. You are the ultimate cultist sap.

  24. It's not that different in BC, the Climate Action Tax Credit goes to those with lower income. Or thru direct transfers (ie to low income folks) that result in little to no net gain for the government. But I suppose if trying to do anything at all to mitigate AGW is just so much communism, the battle was always lost before it even got started.

  25. There’s a big difference with the Trudeau government. They’ve made everything worse with record immigration with no regard to its impact on services and housing. And the carbon tax has helped make everything more expensive. Both those things wouldn’t have happened if the Conservatives had been in office.

  29. Is CNN: ignoring this calling it "peaceful protests" and inciting more of the same denouncing it? I don't think you can blame leftists for feeling like molotovs are an acceptable way to show your displeasure, and unless CNN says "molotovs bad" it's going to keep happening.

  35. Have you noticed any difference in your lives based on which party is in the government? I can say from my Finnish perspective where we always have coalition-governments that I really haven't. I guess if one lives near the poverty-line then cutting the benefits is something really hits the everyday life of such a person or if somebody is loaded with money whose dividends could be taxed with a different rate based which government taxes makes a huge difference but ordinary people rarely see any difference which government there is.

  36. Have you presented this conclusion to the IPCC? If you actually have evidence of this and it checks out you'll be I'm line for a Nobel prize, millions in cash and prizes and of course you'll be buried under a pile of underwear that would make Steven Tyler blush. You could single handedly save the global economy and bring peace to Earth. Have you thought about that? No one is getting rich off Canada's carbon tax. 90% of it is returned to lower income people 10% goes to AGW initiatives and the cost is born by those people who produce the most emissions, which is to say wealthier Canadians who can afford the tax. Of course these are who can also afford to make the sort of investment in the emmission free technology it takes to avoid the tax and they get subsidies for doing so which is what the other 10% collected goes towards. It's called revenue neutral for a reason and that neutrality is why so many economists support it. It also leaves fossil fuel companies out of it and all they'll see is demand for their products decline. Something they're already planning for. Everything Poilievre is proposing that you're voting for will do less, cost more and make the people who own fossil fuel companies rich off subsidies. This will only incentivize them to stay in business as long as possible thereby making AGW worse - and no rebates for low-income people.

  37. Now you're learning. There are people I can't discuss anything with, because they see discussion that something different than what I see it as. I never think that I know everything and I have nothing to learn. I never think that it's a contest But a lot of people think that. I'll be discussing something and then they'll say something about winning? Winning what? It's not sports, it's about learning. And if you just want to keep repeating the same thing over and over again and never acknowledge a point, why should I waste my time?

  42. I support this thinking as I feel much the same way. I wish Trump would drop all the international stuff and focus strictly on the US for the next couple years. I think that would strengthen the case for Vance or another Republican going into the next presidential race. I think it would also help with congressional and senate races.

  43. What you say is not what happens in practice, when the visibility of a candidate is disproportionate compared to the other candidates and favorable he will de facto win the election, so there has been fraud, these hypocrites denounce the elections in Russia while they have the same practices

  44. And just how do you think that war would end if not by surrendering land to Russia? That incursion into Kursk is being squashed. Russia is advancing along the main line. Ukraine is running out of soldiers. Since November the majority of Ukranians want a peace deal. So...should they fight till everyone is dead? Maybe The Green Shirt should not have listened to Boris Johnson...eh?

  45. It's not just Trump that's making Canadians back away from PP, the whole right-wing brand is wearing thin. Vote woke go broke? It seems voting for the angry hard-boiled MAGA vision for the future is making people even more broke if plunging stock markets and fear of a Trump induced recession grows.

  46. And And wastes it simply to throw accusations, lies, and vague promises and no real leadership. His lame ads against Carney as 'just another Justin' and re-running Singh 'only in it for the pension' point out in spades they're incapable of adapting to any change in situations. As does his late to the bandwagon appeal to nationalism even as he copies the Republican theme of their US campaign. Loser.
