  1. Haiti is a waste of time and effort. We already have Quebec, why would we want another French problem??? We (the world) have sent billions upon billions of dollars for decades and sent police and sent military and this country is still a peice of shit. I have friends that had to go down there and said they are the laziest people on earth. They do nothing to help themselves . The men sit on stoops and smoke and then go screw the women and make babies.

  4. Of course it depends on your point of view. The French Revolution, like most wars, was a tragedy. The issues were already underway to reform the political system to create a constitutional Monarchy. You under estimate Napoleon's contribution to society. He modernized the delivery of healthcare, science and brought in the metric system. Immigration is a Christian act. There are millions of people who are living in regions of the world that are no longer habitable. The are leaving a life surrounded by poverty, chaos and violence. They have to go somewhere, and Europe is the logical destination. Would Jesus turn away anyone in need? The mass migration from the south is only going to increase into a tsunami of humanity. MAiD is a choice that each of us should be able to make. It is a matter of freedom of choice. To take that freedom away is socialism. The issue of women's right to reproductive choice has been argued to death. The issue of sending western troops into Ukraine may be a signal to the tyrant Putin that his actions are going to lead to War. In the absence of American support, it is now up to Europe to ensure Ukraine's freedom and independence.

  6. "Since 2022, Canada has committed more than $300 million in international development, humanitarian and security assistance funding to Haiti. In addition, Canada is providing in-kind support worth $57 million to reinforce the HNP. " Canada announces $123 million in funding to improve security in Haiti - Canada.ca Why is Canada throwing this kind of money to places like Haiti, the middle east, and other countries while Canada is so far in debt and we now in a housing crisis, failing health care system, and very high food costs? Our military is reported by top experts to be in a "death spiral" for various reasons and has been underfunded for decades. "The federal government reported a federal deficit of $1.13 trillion at the end of the 2021-2022 fiscacanadal year(opens in a new tab), an increase of 8.2 per cent from the previous fiscal year." 7. It seems to me all governments act a little like God once they get a little to full of themselves. That said, I bet Christianity would be as aghast at the idea that God should be held to account - as any government lickspittle would - whether they're communist, capitalist or any other ist you care to mention.

  13. you're right... i should have added the following that gives more insight. Donald Trump won’t give ‘a penny’ to Ukraine if elected, Orbán says “If the Americans don’t give money and weapons, along with the Europeans, the war is over,” he said. “And if the Americans don’t give money, the Europeans alone can’t finance this war. And then the war is over.” so, indeed, the Americans can end the war by simply letting Putin win. there is nothing mentioned about a peace agreement. if this interpretation is not correct then Trump will come out and say so shortly.

  14. Last week there was a shooting in White Rock with an automatic weapon. The video is available with an easy Google search. Leftards couldn't blame it on gun control because the weapon was already illegal here, but they can do an article on the bogeyman's guns, and they need to cash in on the shock value: "Never let a good tragedy go to waste".

  16. Snicker That's never happened to me of course.... Yeah. I know. Sometimes i put my tongue in my cheek and then immediately seem to bite it. I'm quite sure he's thinking something along those lines. Find a wedge like covid vaccines, smear pp, make it sound like he's canadian trump, (pray to god trump wins), Say all the pretty things, promise everything twice, gaze longingly into the public's eyes, get a REALLY good haircut and maybe he can pull it off by the skin of his teeth. He knows he's got the ndp - so technically even if he just gets a few seats LESS than the cpc he can go to the GG and say him and the NDP will form a coalition and keep power if it's a minority. I'm quite certain that's his 'final hope' - muddy the water enough to keep pp to a minority, then form gov't with the ndp. But honestly the polling suggests that there is zero chance of that happening unless something changes.

  19. I think that for the most part it's just boring. "today nothing terribly bad happened, the stuff that did happen is pretty run of the mill and the world will continue spinning. Subscribe for only 10 dollars a month" Hence the old saying if it bleeds it leads. And if you can make it sound like it bled a little more than it did, so much the better. The thing that politician did? That wasn't just a thing. It was a bad thing. In fact it was the worst kind of bad thing. In fact it was a horrible travesty and a direct threat to our democracy and kittens everywhere! You like kittens don't you? Of course you do! Pay 10 dollars and find out what happened to the kittens (my god, you won't believe it). Then there's the patronage. Media sources since the very dawn of man have required support and usually money from bigger patrons, wealthy governments, or wealthy nobles, etc. That is still true today, and those who OWN the papers and media have their own bias. And perhaps understandably given a choice between 'Colouring" and spinning (or scrapping) a few stories to keep that patron happy so your family can eat tonight may seem like a small price. People think subscriber and ad revenues reduces that but if anything it just makes it worse.

  22. And just as quickly swept under the rug. SNC and WE were huge scandals and they weren't even talked about in the months leading up to the 2019 and 2021 elections. Duffygate was headline news for 3 years. "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE $90K???!!!???" DID HARPER KNOW ABOUT THE $90K?" Duffygate $90K. 3 years. WE $900 million. 3 months. It was literally 10,000x as much money and CBC talked about it for 1/12th as long. As soon as Trudeau was elected, the whole Duffygate affair collapsed like a cheap tent. No charges at all for Duffy. The last thing I ever heard about WE on CBC was Trudeau saying "I shoulda recused myself from the obvious decision to choose WE." They just let him have the last word and ended there.

  24. I disagree. The earth can support and sustain a maximum population of 1.5 billion. Christianity is in decline and in the free market of theology, Islam is growing. That is because Islam responds to the needs of the faithful better than Christianity. To deny people the right to choose how they whorship God is socialism. "Promotion" of homosexuality is ridiculous. Around 10% of people are gay. That is a percentatage that has been constant. You cannot persuade anyone to be gay. They just are. Deus Vult. You appear to be opposed to feminism, and the right of women to have the right to make their own decisions regarding reproduction. You advocate socialism where people don't have the right to make their own decisions. Your opposition to people having the right to choose to terminate their own life also socialistic. Your term "feminizing the military" contradicts your advocacy of Christianity. The military is trained to kill people. Right or wrong, that is a contradiction of Christian, Zoroastrian and Jewish doctrine. ie. Thou Shalt not Kill. There were no qualifacations to that commandment.

  27. Just noticing another interesting tidbit - the undecided is unusually low in all these polls. Normally the undecided even going into an election or during one is around 15- 20 percent and often on the higher side between elections. It's lower than that right now, the mainstreet one is just 10 percent. And we're pretty much past the point where justin could step down without destroying the party. If he stepped down april 1 then even if they had a rushed leadership race the new leader would have less than a year to get rid of trudeau's advisors, get their own up to speed and prepare for an election all the while having to run the actual country which is already nosediving. Historically it takes a solid year to even have a fighting chance and that's if you're NOT in power and even then very few are successful with that little time.

  28. France, like Canada and Ireland, have forgotten the values that made them successful to begin with. They are doing everything possible to lower their already low birth rates and disempower Christianity and cultural roots: Promote ani-family values; disparage Christian faiths by declaring them colonial, patriarchal and racist; declare men toxic; promote unlimited abortion, birth control, euthanasia, homosexuality, alternative sexualities, and trans identities; accelerate immigration; alienate farmers; feminize the military and men in general; impose laws against free speech to disempower political opposition; turn over more authority to the EU/UN/non-local, international unelected authorities; regulate and tax people into subsistence living to further disempower and reduce the middle class; entrench DEI.

  29. Heh Honestly, I keep checking the poles Expecting any day now to see the CPC dip. Nobody can keep gaining every single month month after month forever. There has to be a point where you have a bad month or something happens and even for a moment your popularity dips a bit. But since March last year every single month is an improvement on the last month. I don't even understand it, he just keeps getting more popular. And not just that Trudeau becomes more and more hated, that does happen, but people are actually liking PP more and more himself. First he won over the kids which was a surprise, then he won over the old people which was slightly less of a surprise but still impressive, then he went over the maritimes which was absolutely stunning, then he won over women which Was absolutely amazing, and now he is Threatening to pull ahead in Quebec. He's so popular that any day now eyeball will deny ever having voted for him So where does it go from here? There HAS to be a top, he can't just keep growing every month for the next year till the election, he'd be at 110 percent approval at that point. We'd have to bring in voters from other countries I keep saying 'this has got to be the cap. Multiple polls averaging to 42 has got to be as good as it gets That's an 18 point lead on the libs. But i've been saying "This has got to be his cap before the next election" for months now. If he's this popular before the actual elections starts i don't even know what's going to happen in the election - of course there is the real risk that everyone will think it's in the bag and not show up.

  30. "That is why the Justice Department is fighting back,” Garland said Sunday in front of the church. “That is why one of the first things I did when I came into office was to double the size of the voting section of the civil rights division. That is why we are challenging efforts by states and jurisdictions to implement discriminatory, burdensome, and unnecessary restrictions on access to the ballot, including those related to mail-in voting, the use of drop boxes, and voter ID requirements." https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/2901337/merrick-garland-slams-voter-id-laws-as-discriminatory-unnecessary/ Looks like we know WHY the Democrats opened the US borders now eh? I mean...it's not just speculation now. Laura Trump is now co-chair of the RNC. I hope she can hold the dictators off. If any adult American cannot produce valid ID to vote, it is illegal to cast a ballot.!

  33. Have you gone completely mad in the head? Why would Canadians want to make Haiti another province of Canada anyway? Have you been to Haiti and seen what the dump looks like? They have been given hundreds of billions of dollars in aid from around the world and not a bloody thing has been done to the place to help make the black lives there any better. Haiti is a 3rd world hell hole. Haiti would be a better off Caribbean Island to live on if it were not for all of the corruption that has been going on on that island for decades now. If Haiti became a province, the Haitians there would flood Canada. I do not need any more third world losers coming to my country. No thanks. 👎

  34. The study, (Fraiman J. et al. Vaccine 2022 – pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36055877) also found an excess risk of serious adverse events of special interest for 1 in 550 after mRNA vaccination. As you are aware, this is extraordinarily high for a vaccine. In comparison, the risk of serious adverse events after influenza vaccination is much lower (Lusignan S. Lancet Regional Health – Europe 2021 – thelancet.com/pdfs/journals/lanepe/PIIS2666-7762(21)00006-5.pdf). For you to claim that serious adverse events such as these are “rare” when Pfizer and Moderna’s clinical trial data indicate they are not, is a startling exercise in disinformation.

  36. Why do you make the assumption that someone is going to disadvantage someone without some kind of artificial advantage? I’ve always been a champion of the underdog. Everyone likes a Cinderella story. If someone comes from a challenging background and does a good job, I want to see them succeed. Sometimes those underdogs are black. Sometimes they’re not. Every individual is unique. Making sweeping judgments about a person’s background based on race is biased. There are these academic coaches specifically for black students in high schools in Ontario now. I find it the most presumptuous racist kind of assistance: “Black kids need extra help because they don’t do well.” Why not just offer extra help to students who need it?
