  1. Well, recently more so. He made Canada a founding member of the Trans Pacific Partnership, which made sense at the time. People who call Trudeau the 'globalist' in the room give him too much credit. The biggest trade deals Canada has participated in were initiated and sealed by Conservatives who had a bold vision. If Harper is skittish on China today, that's because almost everyone else is .... https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-election-2015-tpp-agreement-atlanta-1.3254569

  2. When was the last time any FN people were forced to live any where, and there are thousands that have left the reserve got jobs and have done well on their own. People do this across the country every day, it has got nothing to do with being poor, it has everything to do with having the will to get out and make your own foot print on the world.

  3. America's influence in Canadian elections is no more legal or legitimate, and it dwarfs anything we get from China. There are millions of Canadians who are completely indoctrinated with alt-left 1diocy to the point where they refuse to even think for themselves. TBH, I'd like to take a look at the Chinese propaganda. Why not? At least male teachers there don't wear z-cup prosthetic boobs, or have the power to get your kid a sex change operation without your knowledge or consent.

  8. I count myself as a rational and reasonable human being. I'm interested in and follow news in science. I recognize that vaccines have been highly effective in eliminating terrible diseases such as smallpox, poliomielitis, mumps and others. And we also know and just had another chance to observe that the distance and the edge between real science, manipulation of science, misleading pseudo science and so on can be quite thin. So I'd like to propose a genuine, straightforward, no bull description, understanding if not a formal definition of the term "vaccine". P.S. in real, genuine science we are always open to new things, findings, trends, inventions, laws. And if and when we do come up with something new, of ours, we do not create confusion with terms and concepts already known previously, quietly changing or modifying their meaning. No. That would be a cause for concern. Why would one do that in genuine, open science? In it we do not aim to mislead, mix up and confuse. Quite the opposite: to find, understand and clarify. And so, vaccines: 1. Provide a clear and essential benefit to the recipient. Such as significant reduction of risk and/or severity of the condition. 2. Have to provide a clear, measurable and significant benefit to the general community. Otherwise it is a preventative treatment, prophylactics, therapy. No need to create confusion. 3. Have to carry minimal risk of adverse effects for the recipient. The natural standard is the risk of a severe condition. A genuine vaccine cannot have comparable or even higher risk than the condition it is trying to prevent it wouldn't make any sense not just in science but by sheer common sense. 4. And not in the least, the significant preventative effect is expected to last a considerable time. More than a year likely. We call it "flu shot" for a reason, do we not? By the way, what would be the essential difference, why is it that one is a "shot" and the other, the v-word? Do we need an exSpert for that, with an outrageous pay direct from our pocket? And while at it, we used to call it "a booster" when administered once or twice per lifetime, not bi-monthly for eternity, that used to be called a chronic condition treatment. This is not science. This is deceptive confusion around science with the intent to mislead and manipulate. And so I'd like to bring the question up for an open and honest discussion. Maybe it doesn't make sense? Maybe there are flaws, of logic or fact? This is how science works and why it has worked so far. Because every finding and conclusion are robustly verified and can be trusted. Not some creative bs that changes with the daily direction of the wind. And now, for a practical example, based on the definition above and conditional on its validity, what would be the chance of branding preventative Covid-19 treatments in the age group 0-12, in good faith, honesty and scientific or professional competence as "vaccines"? How many tests would it pass, out of four?

  10. FN people lived in the frozen north for 10,000 years with just stone age technology. If you never heard of the Inuit before and someone just told you about them today, you'd think the story was BS. Living in homes made of ice ?? Impossible. They're probably the toughest, most resilient people on the planet. And I don't think gov't handouts are a blessing for them. I just don't. I think it's sad how the whole FN situation is discussed, and without some kind of sovereignty I get how they feel 'less than'. We need to deal with that issue, because that's a real problem, and it's hard for kids to grow up like that. I just don't feel like the way they get money is the answer. It's making them weaker, not stronger.

  11. I'm afraid that's not true. They weren't "Forcably" put anywhere. You're thinking of the US. And first nations are not the 'poorest of the poor'. For the most part the yhave all the access to education and other resources they would need. Moreso than many poor people from other nations or ethnic groups. It is racist and demeaning beyond belief to suggest that first nations people could not make their way in life off the resere as well as any other group.

  12. Also, ESG isn't necessarily optional. Consider if you belong to a union in America for instance and that union puts its pension fund in the hands of some big money management company, like say Black Rock or Vanguard. And suppose they like the idea of the ESG racket for their own devious, globalist friendly purposes. So your pension fund is what's at play and you personally have very little choice.

  13. Lol. I love how people think "The Russians bombard us with propaganda but CNN/CTV are always telling the unblemished truth " I haven't even seen any Russian propaganda and I'm on the internet a lot. Have you seen any reports that Russia is walking all over Ukraine? Or that the whole world supports them? Or anything at all that says "Things are going swimmingly for Russia right now..."? We get propaganda that says "Russia wasn't provoked at all!!!" and "It's a genocide - 15,000 Russian troops are dead and only a couple thousand Ukrainian troops and civilians!!!" and "Russians bombed their own pipeline!!!" Honestly, it's not even good propaganda. You have to be stupid to believe any of it.

  14. Sure, relatively speaking. Putin's a dictator and invades his neighbours. Why are you still referencing protests from last October? Nobody ever said 100% of Germans support Ukraine. Like here, they also have pro-Putin losers at home, especially in the former soviet east. Depends on the rate of attrition for both sides. If the Ukrainians are on the defensive and with better equipment, the loss ratio might be so bad for the Russians that they do, in fact, lose. As I've said many times, we're comparing the economies and the MIC of the US and all of Europe to Russia, which is probably 30:1 or worse in terms of capacity, not to mention quality and shorter supply lines. The only advantage Russia really has here is in the number of men eligible for service. They're clearly willing to throw away their people's lives for marginal gains, but the question is how long those people will be willing to do it for. A 4:1 manpower advantage counts for little if you can't mobilize it. Ukraine can have peace when Russia loses the will to continue. The whole war has been a massive waste (for Russia). They've lost the (relatively speaking) cream of their incompetent army and lost access to the European markets in exchange for for a wasteland of uninhabited rubble of their own making. Except you're very clearly wrong in that.

  15. Not a new idea. Around the late 80s, early 90s, Rush Limbaugh informed us about a Jesse Jackson plan to raid pension funds to pay for infrastructure spending. Rush said that pension funds were the only TRUE wealth that existed and was otherwise protected. And these SAME Democrats who would not allow private Social SEcurity accounts (where each worker could actually INVEST his own FICA) have no problem with a money grab based on Woke policies.

  17. Publicly and by all appearances, but that's sort of how things work when there's no free media and you get jailed and/or murdered for speaking out against him. In that case, it's a whole lot of public, "Yes, we LOVE the LEADER", while privately people grumble or lament their lots in life. It's not that easy to do. He has a private army of something like 20,000 in Moscow alone. I wonder how far off it really is. At this point, the Russian people are undoubtedly aware this is a real war given the number of body bags and maimed soldiers returning, and combined with being cut off from most of the outside world (especially Europe and North America) will hurt them economically and symbolically as well. Eventually, a lot of them will start questioning: Are we the baddies?

  19. harper did more deals with more people than just about any prime minister in our history, it's true. But as i showed he was absolutely in their face when they did things he didn't like. Doing trade with countries is not an endorsement of the country of course. And it does give you a lever against them. If you've got no dealings with them then you have very little power other than the threat of war over them. Harper was often vocally critical, demanding, and aggressive with china. And that's when he wasn't just pissing them off (dalai lama sent them into apoplexy). And you know what? They did business with him and didn't call him little potato. Justin's weak stance had them holding our trade hostage, holding our people hostage And they didn't try to buy our elections.

  20. I also noticed the death penalty for adultery, incest, and having sex with a statute (Molech). Apparently a man having sex with a woman on her period only rated being cut off from his people. Nothing about a woman doing it to a woman in Leviticus. The closest I've seen the Bible come to condemning that would be Romans 1, 26-27. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural one. It's a stretch, but two women going at it IS an unnatural act.

  24. Harper was actually VERY hawkish with china. Not only did he call them out in a fashion that was very embarassing for them but he also did things like meet with the dalai lama which is a MASSIVE no no for china as it flies in the face of their one china policy. Now - i get where you're going, it's easy to think no politician would jump up to stop something that's working to their advantage. And maybe some would turn a blind eye to a litlte help. And certainly many would try to downplay it if it was found that their people had been compromised, even if they were furious and aggressively pursuing it. But trudeau seems to have leaned into the whole thing. This is a massive issue and he knew about it and apperently has done nothing and is leaving that door open. I think most of our previous leaders would have been much more upset about this even if behind closed doors and taken action.

  31. Well yes and there are deals set up between bands and companies that aren’t shared with the public. Look, there’s money in Indigenous status. There will never be enough payouts and the narrative is that Indigenous got the short end of the stick on treaty deals, which I’m sure happened. The question is, What’s the statute of limitations on such agreements? Are taxpayers simply on the hook for the healthcare, education, and infrastructure for Indigenous forever? It’s not like most Indigenous are living off the land and detached from modern technology. We hear about ground radar and see pylons representing possible graves by residential schools, and though no bodies are exhumed and no epidemiology testing is done to figure out cause of death, the stories are dark and point to injustice. Even if almost every child death was the result of disease, there’s enough abuse and injustice to conclude that things went on that shouldn’t. The story of the Expulsion of the French from Acadia is also quite sad, yet no reparations are sought and most people don’t hold grudges against people alive today who didn’t cause these injuries but have English names. Today’s descendants of Loyalists aren’t trying to reclaim ancestral property in the US. That’s why ultimately the public will move on from old victimhood stories, unless it’s individuals describing specific injustices.

  33. oh good, i'd hate for you to suggest it was a negative or anything Yeash! Probably need to start paying attention then. He's put a number of things out there. Obviously he's not stupid enough to go into extreme detail this far away from an election, that's death with the liberals. But - stop "printing" money to help ease inflation, we all get how that works (even tho there's no actual printing), that makes a big difference. Address the home issues - that's not going to happen overnight but he's on the right track with it and if he follows through that will help. Cut red tape - that is a HUGE issue that holds us back, that's the so-called 'gatekeeper' issue. Get the various gov't departments working again. People should be able to get a passport or go to an airport. Address immigraiton, bringing it more in line with what our capacity is to make sure we dont' jack up rents and housing costs by bringing in more than we can absorb. There's other things he can do as well but those are ones hes touched on. All of those would make a pretty big difference. It wouldn't be the first time - Canada bucked the world wide trend during the Great Recession as well, when harper was in power. Worst recession worldwide in 80 years but Canada blew right through it. No reason we can't do it again.

  36. Well what are we defining as 'radical right wing menus'? Balanced budgets? Less red tape and beurocracy? more homes being built? whcih of the current policies on the table are 'radical right wing' ? And chretien ended badly if you'll recall. Right now Canadians want to be able to afford food and a roof over their head, to have decent medical services, and to have some stability so they can plan for the future. And they've got none of those things. They don't realize it but within a short time they'll also probably have employment concerns. They want to see that teh country's finances are under control too, and we're moving back towards balance. And they're going to want to see that for a while. I don't know if you're old enough to remember the 70's and 80's but this is a classic repeat. Trudeau back then racked up huge debt and drove inflation through the roof and by the time he was gone the public was ready for 8 years of tories. In fact - Mulroney won more than 50 percent of the vote, first time in forever. He did what he had to in order to get things under control - but he didn't sell it well. If PP can do a better job that way he can not only win 2 terms but he'll have a reasonable shot at 3 - especially if he can get the media message under control.

  37. The 'First Immigrants' (FI) on Vancouver Island have posted No Trespassing signage on their reserves and some other lands under contention. Yet, they collectively use the infrastructure 'off reserve' . . . . It's not unusual to see young men of employable and working age, mid-day, off reserve, with wife and gaggle of children all ages. The sad fact is that there are generations of FI men in particular that just don't know how to work, or know the satisfaction of providing for their families. Possibly their fathers and grand-fathers never worked either. I logged with many FI fellows, and to a person, they have said that the best thing they have ever done was to get off the reserve . . . never to return. There are big problems ahead for both FI and non-FI with the way past and present Federal and Provincial governments have come under the non-elected influence of the UN (UNDRIP). When there are vast sums of money poured into FI reserves with no accounting ever . . . there is a problem. Harper's 'Transparency Act' was meant to get a handle on this problem . . . elected chiefs and their entourage in fine homes, Cadillac Escalade in the driveway, meetings in Hawaii, and next door to a single mom in her hovel, kids doing drugs . . . . . Trudeau repealed the Transparency Act . . . .

  38. Sounds so simple when you take it out of context. Problem is, it ignores the fact there are 4.7 times as many white people in the US than black. Whites are killed by police at a rate of 2.3 per million population and blacks at 5.9 per million population or 2.5 times as often. Why that is happening is certainly open to discussion but yes, cherry picking to reflect the opposite of reality can be racist.

  40. Good thing I posted more than that line. As I went on to say at some length, systemic racism shows up in just about any analysis you can find. And I'm not talking about raw numbers, but well controlled analyses of the highest quality. And it's not random or accidental. The end of slavery didn't bring freedom. The right to vote didn't bring full representation. The end of Jim Crow didn't mean equal treatment for all. It's all progress, but it's an unfinished project. Hundreds of years of oppression have left an indelible stain on every institution in the country. Poverty isn't the cause of systemic racism, but rather a symptom. Poverty is a tough cycle to break, and America forced an entire race into poverty and contrived every foot-dragging tactic imaginable to keep them there.

Let me give you an example: If you ask Jewish people whether they support the phrase “Work sets you free,” would they support it? No, definitely not. Is it because Jews are lazy, or because they know it is the slogan which appeared above the Nazis largest concentration camp?
