  3. Maybe we've been going about this all wrong... Maybe the best way to thwart madness is to agree and encourage it under the guise that radical surgical procedures are preventing these creatures from breeding and that's a net benefit to society. They'll become so offended they'll decide THEY want it stopped just to spite the MAGA hyenas who now favour the idea.

  4. I doubt Epstein was much different from Hefner. Pretty young girls were a commodity, and both of them made use of them. This idea that it's child molesting to have consensual sex with 17 and 16-year-olds didn't exist in previous decades. Hell, the age of consent in Canada was 14 up until Stephen Harper changed it. And girls as young as 15 appeared in British men's magazines naked. Topless page 3 girls were often 16. And I doubt you can find a rock star from the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s who hasn't slept with girls that age and younger MANY, MANY times while on the road. If they had the body and were willing (or drunk or drugged out) few in the entertainment industry had much of an issue with it. I think Epstein was just the victim of changing times and an eager lawyer who wanted to make a lot of money, along with mercenary old whores who resented no longer being attractive and who wanted some of that cash themselves.

  5. All drugs should be legalised to consume, as it is a mental health issues, not a criminal issue. It's mainly poor and vulnerable people with underlying mental health issues with poor coping mechanisms that use hard drugs. We should be going after the dealers, and the manufacturers, who produce, and sell the drugs. Alcohol is clearly the most destructive drug to society. However, prohibition does not work. Perhaps more accountability is necessary (bars and restaurants knowingly serving intoxicated patrons). Make then liable for drunk driving accidents, if it can be proven the establishments knew the individual left drunk, and made no attempt to report the person when they drove away.

  8. Poilievre also has a CO2 plan to replace the carbon tax you know. It'll be more expensive, less effective and hurt Canadians even more. Which raises the question, assuming the vast majority of his supporters who either think anthropogenic global warming is bullshit or simply don't care how can they possibly support his emission reductions plans if they'll only cause greater pain? Never mind who Poilievre is kidding, who are his supporters trying to kid?

  12. Each day I will post about someone who is involved with making America a better place. With so much hatred and division, one person stands out: AOC Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a true American hero. She came from humble beginnings in the Bronx, living with her working class family. AOC never had a free ride, like most politicians. She did it the old fashion way, putting herself through University by working as a waitress and bartender. She exhibits all the traits Americans should strive for. She cares for the working class, and is a peoples champion. Not only is AOC physically beautiful, but her heart is in the right place.

  13. "Body Integrity Dysmorphia" is every bit as real and every bit as traumatic to the person afflicted as the "Gender Dysmorphia" you're currently championing. It's a similar Dysmorphia condition just with different body parts. Your stance on the issue offers no recourse other than deeming it a fallacy or facing the absurdity of your own position. IMO you'd be better off labeling it a mental disorder requiring intervention and treatment. But then (gasp), you know I'd agree with you... right? If I were in your shoes I'd say the same thing and hope it got ignored too.

  14. You're lying. I don't recall even hearing about any rebate from 2008 to 2016. Probably never came in until later. What? I thought that was the whole purpose of carbon taxes. So you are lying again claiming climate change is not the reason for carbon taxes. So why are you supporting it? Just because you can and be ornery. Lying again. The excuse for carbon taxes has been to control climate change.
    1 point
  15. No, you're the only one introducing the ridiculous notion carbon tax do anything at all to control the climate. Humans cannot control the climate but we can certainly change it though. Change and control are two entirely different things and saying they're the same is either disingenuous or retarded.

  16. British Columbia rebates carbon taxes through the Climate Action Tax Credit (BCCATC) a tax-free payment that helps low- and moderate-income individuals and families offset the cost of carbon taxes. If you didn't get this it's because you earned too much. Quit your sniveling, man up and get control of yourself. You say that about virtually every tax. Do you feel the same way about taxes on tobacco or booze? Yes that's right it's based on income just like I said. It's to control emissions not the climate. Ask Michael, Trudeau and the conservatives who created carbon pricing and taxes in the first place and they will all tell you the same thing. No one can control the climate. You'd have to be nuts like Marjorie Taylor Green to believe that hooey. The intent is to encourage you to control how much CO2 you emit. If you are a heavy emitter you are free to invest in technology that emits less thereby reducing the amount of tax you pay.

  17. Biologically it is absolutely a binary. One sex carries the egg, the other sex carries the sperm. When it comes to mammals that's basically it. There are some minor details around it but when you look at the definition that's what it is. Which is a problem for your side because you want to pretend something. You want to pretend that mail is the same as female if the male feels that he is female. But at the end of the day they're male and there is no complicated conversation necessary. There are also only two genders, and everybody exists on a spectrum between them. It can be argued that the spectrum includes more than one line so to speak, a person may be more masculine or feminine in one element of their life and more feminine and less masculine in another element of their life but they are all just on a spectrum between male and female. Sorry for the inconvenience. But that is a simple truth. Everything else is an attempt to obfuscate that truth for a political agenda and to try and make a mental health issue somehow legitimate.

  18. NYP and Gateway Pundit denigrate THEMSELVES all the time. Time for YOU to cancel your National Enquirer subscription, too. I am fine with not knowing the identities of anyone who fears the Trump MAGA CULT CRAZY GOONS. You should be, too, before the next David Depape comes looking for YOU. "More often than not," is a really shitty standard for ANY reputable news organization. As is NOT ISSUING CORRECTIONS. You're the one defending a "more often than not" and very few if any corrections standard. 🤮

  19. 1) There are two types of "breaking stories". Stories like this, that would just end up coming from a different "news" org twenty minutes later, and stories that legitimate journalists busted out which were never meant to see the light of day, like the Hunter laptop story which the Dems and FBI went ballistic to block from the public eye. FYI when the news is just there to run propaganda for the gov't, they're not doing their job. 2) People like Trudeau and Biden go to their trusted sources to get this kind of news out so that they can control the initial narrative. It's important for that story to be released with a certain tone, on Trudeau's exact terms, which other sycophant media will follow up on, so that people like Rosemary Barton don't die from the shock of finding out about it with the Rebel News edge to it. Now the story goes out framed as "a magnanimous gesture by a great leader to ensure the future strength of his party", rather than a story about "1) the delusional narcissist finally coming to terms with the fact that he's the most reviled politician in Canada's 160-yr history, 2) the MSM told him that they can't pull his fat outta the fire anymore, and 3) his whole party is tarnished by their lock-step dedication to his destructive fascist BS". ^That's why G & M was chosen to reveal this. That and the fact that CBC would be too obvious a choice to polish his rod one last time. R Barton wouldn't be able to break that story without real snot-bubbly bawling.

  21. No one is trying to control the climate. It's just something you and Marjorie Taylor Green say. You do realize Alberta was the first to implement carbon pricing right? It's rebated to those who've paid a higher percentage of their income in carbon tax than wealthier Canadians. It's a simple fact that wealthier Canadians emit more C02 and that's why they don't get the rebate. You're thoughts are utterly out whack with reality on multiple levels. Starting of course with the notion that the climate can be controlled. Nobody believes the climate can be controlled and that's why no one is talking about controlling the climate. Only you.

  22. It is Putin who is killing Slavs not Zelensky. It was Putin who invaded Ukraine and started the war, it was and is Putin who uses drones and missiles supplied by another murderous regime of islamic republic to attack and murder defenseless civilians in Ukraine. Zelensky is trying to protect the civilian population of Ukraine from a murderous bastard such as Putin. Putin is a war criminal. F*ck Putin.

  28. I didn't think they understand anything about reporting either. "Anonymous" doesn't mean the reporter doesn't know, and it doesn't mean it isn't fact checked. It simply means the person doesn't want to be targeted by the goddamn crazies or face retribution at work. One anonymous report doesn't get published unless they produce evidence. Usually around 3 corroborating reports becomes a story. Hegseth is way beyond that. The guy has a drinking problem, a women problem, a complete lack of experience or qualification and no viable reason to have been selected whatsoever. Just move on to a qualified nominee and skip the baggage. It's a serious job, and he is not a serious nominee.

  30. This is just getting painful to watch. @Hodad is wrong the vast majority of the time and that's clear to any reasonable person and like most on the left here when he's caught out being wrong he tends to double down on the stupid and hope that somehow it'll magically change for him.... but this is just brutal. It's so obvious that he's got nothing that I"M tempted to start looking for something to support his position out of embarrassment on his behalf!!! (couldn't find anything). Honestly you've got some patience continuing to try to work him through this.

  32. Muppet, we've already described this coping mechanism: When someone posts a quick cite that explicitly and directly contradicts your bullshit, you spiral out into comical, longwinded ranting about muffins, projected butthurt and then a bunch of useless mental gymnastics that (in your muddled little head) somehow magically turn into something that does the opposite. 🤡

  33. Oil and gas is the main industry in Alberta. That is different than Ontario, Quebec, and B.C. which have other industries. I never heard Ford say Ontario will be willing to put an export tax on the auto industry. Obviously, they think they can use Alberta as a sacrificial offering.

  34. It's true, young Canadian people want more opportunity. They want to be able to buy their first home. But I do not believe Canadians want to be American. The 77% aged 18 - 34 that said they would never vote to become American says that much. Don't you feel that great pride in being Canadian? Everyone I know does.

  36. There are lies, damned lies and statistics. The qualifier that becoming a part of the US includes “a full conversion of the Canadian dollar and all personal assets into USD” makes it an absurd hypothetical. That would never happen. More telling and realistic is the results to “I would never vote to become a permanent part of the US” 77% of Canadians aged 18 – 34 say No.

What makes true north not a newspaper? And the liberals and their supporters immediately defend censorship and repression of media they haven't bought. This guy is NO different than trudeau and people will see that.

  41. Lol. Sure, the 7 Fox employees who said he showed up drunk or hung over to work, the report from his charitable org about being drunk at work and needing to be restrained, the drunken sexual assault, Hegseth himself taking about not being able to reduce his disruptive drinking--all of that is just one big story about "decompressing" with friends. I guess that's what it's like to look at the world through Cheeto-orange colored glasses. Face it. Hegseth is another garbage human. You wouldn't want him flying your plane or dating your daughter--and you know this is true--but you'll pretend that everything is hunky dory if Trump wants to put him in charge of 3 million people and give him almost a trillion dollar budget. The cult has got you good and proper.

  42. The evidence is that the Liberals have no use for Alberta and the energy industry. The history is the Liberals have been attacking the oil and gas industry and denying pipelines and putting restrictions on it. So it is natural to think the Liberals will use this opportunity to hammer the energy industry in Alberta by putting a high tariffs on oil and gas exports to the U.S. or cutting off the export of oil and gas from Alberta. The suspicion is the Liberals would seriously harm the energy industry in Alberta while doing much less with the exports of the other provinces.
