Google this heading and get the whole story. He will refuse to make serious changes to the criminal and bail laws. There will be small modifications that will do nothing.1 point

I like how certain types must twist every damn thins ass backwards. Immigrants and refugees are coming here with no respect for human rights, say those with no respect for human rights. It's them, is it?1 point

No he was NOT. They suspended the NEXT DAY AFTER Carr's "easy or hard way" statement. I've posted that evidence and you've posted BUPKIS.1 point

Diversity is not a strength, it's a weakness. And why are the Laurentian Elites fixated on DEI? Probably because they know DEI is guaranteed to trigger and make you people react so hatefully and predictably. You're like big fat buttons just begging to be pushed. It's like free negative advertising.1 point

So? What is wrong with racism? People often remember Hitler and his killing machine when they hear racism and yes it is rightfully condemned. Racism simply means that different races are different and some are superior in culture. For example those who believe in equality of Women and respect for human rights are superior in culture to those who don't. Science has proven evolution and people in different parts of the world are evolved to different scale. Surely nobody can claim everyone evolved totally equally? This is true for other species too. For example we have very smart guard or police or guide dogs and then we have useless street dogs (the majority of dogs).1 point

At least she's not shamelessly exploiting Kirk's death to get rid of free speech, which Kirk was a strong advocate for. You guys have contempt for Kirk but hide it with your crocodile tears.1 point

Yopu are stuck with concepts of Biblical Retribution 2000 years later. Punishment does not 'correct' anything. Whereas a loss of one's credit rating, freezing a bank account for 5 years or impounding one favourite car may be deterrent for some, the loss of freedom for someone wandering the streets unhoused, three squares a day, and excersiza yard and the social company of others in similar circumstances certainly is not. We all know things have to change, and with promised bail reforms and adjustments to criminal codes coming in the next few weeks, how in hell can you justify a headline claiming Carney will make crime worse? Alarmist BS1 point

You’re quoting the company? Do you think they’re going to tell us the unvarnished truth there? They have billions of reasons not to. Doing so would seriously offend Dear Leader and cost them a fortune. A truth universally acknowledged about authoritarians is that abject obedience to their every whim must appear spontaneous and unforced.1 point

You just make shit up because you were caught lying to defend paedophilia. I’ve always been for free speech, against political violence, and I never supported Bill Clinton.1 point

The government expressed their opinion to the owners and they ‘decided’ to suspend him after that. Cause and effect could not be clearer. Those who deny the meaning of this sequence either don’t know or don’t want to know how the world works. As anybody in a developing country can tell you, when the government speaks like this you better listen the first time or you’ll do it ‘the hard way’.1 point

Floyd was not a hero. He was a scum bag; he didn't deserve to be celebrated. Trying to compare Kirk to Floyd now? You people are unhinged lunatics.1 point
-
So you used to be for free speech but private citizens talking freely made you decide the government should step in and not allow it anymore. Okay. At least you admit you have rejected western freedom in favor of fascism. That’s being honest. Maybe you can get the government to shut down this “other forum” you’re obsessed with.1 point

Whatever he said he isn’t the government. There lies the difference.1 point

Even Ted Cruz knows this is wrong: Dangerous as hell’: Cruz blasts FCC’s Jimmy Kimmel takedown The Texas Republican called Brendan Carr’s actions “right out of ‘Goodfellas.’” Cassandra Dumay09/19/2025, 1:05pm ET Sen. Ted Cruz on his podcast Friday admonished Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr for demanding ABC suspend Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show over comments regarding Charlie Kirk — calling Carr’s actions “dangerous as hell” and “right out of ‘Goodfellas.’” “If the government gets in the business of saying, ‘We don’t like what you, the media, have said; we’re going to ban you from the airwaves if you don’t say what we like’ — that will end up bad for conservatives,” said the Texas Republican. …. https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2025/09/19/congress/cruz-calls-out-fcc-for-taking-down-jimmy-kimmel-005731591 point

It doesn't matter right now if the US isn't happy with a no deal. You can't make deal if you don't get what you want out of it. It will matter before too long but let the US see stagnation and a moderate recession to get the people up his áss to see if his tune changes. Wannabe dictators need friends too. The fentanyl stuff is BS. No, like most I just find his soundbites angry and annoying. You guys need a friendlier face with a better attitude....1 point

No. There's way to many grievances to keep separate or track of. Half the time you people get started on something you'll have also dragged COVID, trannies, Hunter's laptop and anti-Semitism into the mix before you're done. That big tent thingy y'all got going is a regular Freakers Ball.1 point

We don't have such "cameras". We don't have "robots" on Venus. We don't know what happened on Venus. ===== Let me repeat: No human will ever live on Mars. We are wasting resources to live on Mars rather than wondering why life on Venus is not possible.1 point

Was the FCC involved? If so, I'm opposed to that too. See how easy it is to have principles that aren't just tossed as soon as your team finds them inconvenient? Were you guys ever for free speech or did you just decide this week that you don't want it anymore? Pretty tacky to exploit the death of a free speech advocate to get rid of it, regardless.1 point

Says the girl who was the first one to Try to make it political by insisting he was a republican LOLOL No exploitation kiddo, we called it like it was and you're pissy because we were honest and you were lying. And you got caught by several people for that. She has an echo chamber and cult. The echo chamber and cult have issues.1 point

I'm aware of the Build Canada Homes program but it's not a $13B agency, it's providing that initial amount in financing for builders. It's financing, not a give away. I don't disagree on the taxes and fee's to get home built. That's a provincial and municipal issue to tackle though, not the federal governments.1 point

Interesting thoughts given you don't know, I don't know and neither does anyone else know what the actual discussions are other than those engaged in them. I agree that Poilievre would get a deal. Not a good one at all for the country but he would get a deal nonetheless. Again, I have no admiration for his acumen.1 point

Nice try, dummy. As has been pointed out numerous times here, cancel culture firings are characterized as instances of people being blacklisted or fired for trivial things that they posted on FB 20 yrs ago, or for telling a joke that made a hypersensitive man-child cwy to his mommy. This is an instance of a deranged loser just trampling on a dead man's grave and lying about hs murderer on national television, and theres no oversensitivity issue here. It was one thing for left4rds to spit on the graves of the Pulse Club dead, by pretending that the main cause of their deaths was guns instead of routine islamic hate, but at least guns were actually involved that time. The guy who killed Kirk wasn't a conservative, and we all knew who the killer was and why he did it in the first second that it happened. For Kimmel to lie and sleaze like that in that moment was waaaay beyond the pale. Even you would have to agree that what kimmel said was so gross that he should have been fired, it's just sad that the FCC might have had to force ABC to do the right thing.1 point

Crime is getting worse in Canada under the Liberals. Why don't you care?1 point
-
I struggle to find the logic in this view. Things are bad, you agree, but they won't get better as long as people keep complaining? What should they do? Congratulate the Liberals and urge them to continue?1 point
-
Well it’s cancel culture with a salient difference - it’s coming from the head of government, not from righteous nitwits online. That’s a sinister turn in any country claiming to value free speech. This malignant clown already threatened a country this week, an ally of course, after a journalist asked him about his family’s rampant corruption so who knows whom he will go after next? Staying quiet is no guarantee of safety.1 point

FYI I drove a Wrangler that charged up with gasoline. But unlike most drivers that can only see the license plate of the car in front of them clearly, I notice the mountains and glaciers, the hare on the side of the road and the speed signs as well as the kid on the sidewalk, the cafe and chargers in every damn town. Even in some rest stops when you stop to pee. You should try more going outside and looking before you simply call everyone else outside Cement City liars. It's 2025 in the whole country not just in your concrete cubicle. Even got 5 chargers in 2 locations in my town that has just one BEV, a Chevy Bolt.1 point

A: they were convicted of aggravated assault not attempted murder. B: We have no idea if that was plea bargained down from another charge. If they can't show WHO did the stabbing, there's not much choice D- there us no such thing as mandatory parole. You are usually released after 2/3 of your sentence under statuatory release. You are eligible to try for parole after 1/3. E: you are in custody for pretrial so of course that's time served F: what the hell do another country's sentences have to do with ours? Countries with more criminality than us more or less proves their longer sentences don't work. You seem fixated on punishment rather than justice.1 point
