  1. Sleepy Joe is just an act! Sneaky Joe Biden just pulled off a massive campaign victory by rigging a Taylor Swiftie Super Bowl win in the last three seconds of the game! Just as planned, all cameras were on Biden faithful Taylor Swift as she kissed Travis Kelce on the field. Previously, Sneaky Joe rigged to become the most successful musician in the world. Beware MAGA! Sneaky Joe is coming. He knows what you’ve been doing on the Internet. He controls the Super Bowl! He got away with rigging a nationwide election without leaving a shred of evidence for Bumbling Trump to find. You may as well give up now.

  2. There are grown up, responsible ways to discuss essential problems in the alliance, and the budget is not the only one; for example, commitment to the shared principles is no less important. But he isn't doing that; he is weakening the alliance in the face of the rising threat for no other reason than to orchestrate his cult and prop his ego.

  3. Poland defence spending to hit 4% GDP this year. Germany more than doubled its defence spending in 2023, from 47 billion Euros to 100 billion. This was a result of Putin's invasion more than anything else, although Europe is increasing looking at the US as an unreliable ally if Trump becomes president again.

  4. The buffoon is putting his ignorance on display again. The so-called businessman can only count monetary values, showing his total inability to understand govt is not a 'business' and neither is the military. He's a toady to what Eisenhower warned everyone about - the Military Industrial Complex. Where Raytheon and General Dynamics tell the govt what to do instead of you and Airbus and Embrauer get penalized for being "govt subsidized" where as Boeing's military contracts "are not" govt subsidies. He's also demonstrating the dangers of electing this oaf to office, He will - something neither his party came up with, nor it's supporters in their platform, just him. He will tell his Party what it's platform is, not the membership. And of course he needs complete immunity for any decision he makes as well.... The imbecile's latest statement that he would sell his own allies down the river makes the fate of Ukraine pretty obvious if he's elected. They'll no longer be a country but another Russian Oblast and Trump will dance about in glee claiming how he solved the problem, too thick and oblivious to even bear any shame like Neville Chamberlain. But it's yet another reason in the long, long list of why he won't be.

  5. The cash injection didn't really happen until Russia launched its all-out invasion of Ukraine. That woke people up and even Germany doubled its military spending while Sweden brought the draft back. You probably don't know this because the only news you ever get is from FOX and One America. The rest of your time is spent sitting in a corner crying because you're not an American.

  6. This is how it stands, factually, based on his own words. And the Republican Congress folk, formerly a proud and responsible position, puppets and/or flotsam in his murky sticky lies. This is how it looks. The whole world sees it like this. This betrayal of pledges and principles will go in the history and will be seen and discussed by generations. Tony Abbott (Australia): Republicans shameful for blocking Ukraine's aid. The future is watching. You absolutely will not wash this stain, and the shame away.

  7. I'll be selling "Emotional Support Robots", "Emotional Support Buttplugs", Donald Trump Squishies, Donald Trump Poop Squishies, and Trump Voodoo Dolls. You can't be cool in 2025 if you don't have at least 3 of these things. I'm selling all 5 as "The Wokey Pkg" for $400, or you can get "The robo Pkg" for $450 - it has an extra buttplug.

  10. The Dems' whole campaign strategy is a combination of two things: doom and gloom revisionist history Biden's actual campaign slogan is: "If Twump winz he will end eleckshuns and start a nukular war, jist like he did last time he wuz prezadent!" They honestly don't. All they need to know how to do is copy and paste CNN drivel here.

  12. Here's something those on the left need to learn. It does not matter one bit what the top people earn. At all. not even a tiny amount. If anything it's a blessing because they pay more taxes so you don't have to. What matters is a) are you able to pursue your opportunities in a free and fair fashion and b) is YOUR life getting better and if not is it a direct result of 'rich' people or something else, Because 90 percent of the time when the wealthy get wealthy it impacts everyone else positively. Microsoft's bill gates made so many rich people that the term 'microsoft millionare' was a common phrase, meaning people who got rich on tech or microsoft directly. If i have 10 dollars and a rich person has 100 - and suddenly he's got 110 and i'm up to 11 - sure the 'wealth inequality' went up - but what do i care, if my wealth went up as well? Here's another mental exercise for you - would your wealth be "Fair" if the wealthy were actually the same as you? If you had everything you do now but actually you were considered a top earner and there were no wealthy then would your wealth, which hasn't changed, somehow magically become fair? If you want to talk about something that holds YOU back from attaining more wealth then we can have that discussion but other people getting wealthy does NOT make you poor.

  15. I find it comical how our resident Libbies object to the post by @blackbird. But the sad fact is, the base tenants of modern Libbie-ism are all focused on wealth re-distribution. "Its not fair that so few can have so much!' That's what hard work and focus produce. Hard work and focus used to be seen as virtues. Today...Libbies see them as obstructions to their "quality of life". Ya...its childish but...they are what they are...

  16. The government are the ones driving up the price. They're the ones who have drastically increased immigration and foreign students, and they're the ones who have allowed people to buy up investment properties to cash in on the housing price boom with any speculation taxes to disincentivize it. They're the ones who have created the red tape that makes building homes harder. Nobody should blame immigration and students or even people buying 2nd properties for investment, they all just want a better life. Blame the governments whose policies and mismanagement have done this.

  17. Trump says Russia should attack NATO allies. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68266447 At a rally on Saturday, he said he had once told a leader he would not protect a nation behind on its payments, and would "encourage" the aggressors to "do whatever the hell they want".

  18. Says who? Will they be asking you your opinion do you think? "This alliance will put miltiary arms directly on our northern border and as we in this room all agree that is an existential threat that we cannot..... wait.... wait just a moment, we're just now hearing from Hodad. He's advising that everything's fine, it's just a setback. Stand down men! While i disagree with @WestCanMan with regards to a number of issues with the ukraine war, there can be no doubt that depending on the nature of the agreement the US would see it as an immediate and existential threat. Look at how they reacted to cuba, and that's a tiny bit of land with a sea in between.

  19. The buffoon is openly weakening the alliance of democracies, the only real thing that stands in the face of the rising coalition of tyrants. There are open disagreements out in the public space about what and how be defended. Today he comes up with one reason, who can say that there won't be another next? I'll think if I'm going to defend you, maybe not. That's the effective and factual end of NATO. He's saying as much, playing right into the hands of dictators, his admired "geniuses" and "very honorable persons". This is what the Republicans are playing with these days. They will carry all responsibility for the consequences for as long as the democracy persists.

  22. Yes yes you keep saying but you aren't dealing with the specificss at all. But you are entrusting a babysitter with your kid's safety and well-being, you wouldn't want them to make any decision that would risk those. but you would force teachers to do exactly that. I don't think using a different name or wearing different clothes qualifies. Certainly not to the same degree as revealing sensitive information about gender to a parent who is not supportive i feel like I'm talking to an AI chatbot at this point. This doesn't make sense because the gym teacher is the individual who would be doing the flagging. No one is asking the math teacher to go to the parent's house and confront them. It is wild me you think it's a bigger deal for teachers to not tell parents something their student asked them not to than it is for the same teacher to call the cops on the parents. OK what specific risks are you talking about.

  32. No, not at all. Just realize that anything you read will be filtered through your hapless little brainwashed noodle before it oozes back out, therefor it will inevitably be twisted into unrecognizable garbage. FYI there are two recent historical examples of what happened in other modernized countries when they were in Russia's situation: When Kennedy found out that there were missiles 1,400km away, across the Atlantic, in little Cuba, he almost started WWIII: he put a naval blockade around a sovereign nation and depth-charged Russian subs in international waters. By comparison Ukraine is 0 km away and shares a 3,000-km border with Russia and Belarus. Russia faces a far greater threat from all of NATO being 0 km away in Ukraine than the US faced from distant, tiny Cuba 🤣. When NATO and Warsaw Pact faced each other in E & W Germany there were over 10M soldiers along that fault line. Thousands of tanks, fighters, artillery pieces and choppers, plus massive stockpiles of WMDs were jammed into that small area. German students growing up at that time received more NBCD (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Defence) training by the time they were in grade 3 than members of the Canadian military would receive in their whole careers. If NATO moves into Ukraine then Russian children will grow up facing the spectre of being gassed or infected or nuked for generations. Only a huge a-hole like you could be oblivious to something like that. Everything you say is just really ignorant and uninformed, little doggy. You just embarrass yourself here. You should just keep your mouth shut and make people guess how stupid you are. Honestly, you'd be better off just posting this: Black Dog wuz heer!

  38. So to be clear: you believe anyone can decide that something is a threat to them by their own definition of the term, regardless of any concrete, demonstrable danger and instigate a military conflict accordingly. The brave freedom fighters of Khamas thank you for your endorsement!

  41. From the same cite you just listed, bozo. On November 9, 2018, then-U.S. president Donald Trump issued a proclamation suspending the right of asylum to any migrant crossing the US–Mexico border outside of a lawful port of entry.[8] U.S. District Judge Jon S. Tigar of the Northern California District Court issued a November 19 injunction against implementing the policy, which was upheld by the US Supreme Court on December 21, 2018.[9] His second attempt was to use Covid (it's just the flu!) as an excuse (It's not dangerous at all!) You'll note that it had failed in federal court and failed in the court of appeals. The SC had simply let it continue until they had heard the case. Biden ended it before that happened. September 2019, the Supreme Court stayed an injunction against the rule in Barr v. East Bay Sanctuary Covenant,[19] allowing the rule to take effect while legal challenges were pending.[20] On March 4, 2020, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ordered the "Remain in Mexico" program halted in the states under its jurisdiction, on the presumption that it violates statutory law; a lawsuit by various advocacy groups against the Department of Homeland Security is still awaiting final decision.[21] On March 11, 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court stayed the injunction,[22] allowing the Trump administration to continue the program while litigation continues

  42. Looks like Trudeau's attempt to scare the public into giving him another chance is just making things worse. After april the new ridings come into play, 7 new ones - and almost all are guaranteed to go CPC. So he has till then to call an election if he's going to and with these numbers unless something radically changes he won't. He's also just about out of time to step down. It takes about 8 months to run a leadership race, and it takes a solid year for a new team to be chosen and even prepare the basics for an election, and 2 years is preferred. We're only 19 months from the start of the next election at most. Probably even less. So a new leader is already not going to have enough time AND any new leader will have to also take the time to run the country and will wear the liberal reputation. So it looks like no election this year - the ndp won't want one either with those numbers But - i don't think justin will want to go all the way till next fall to try. I'm now betting on a spring election centred around a budget that gives things to all his usual voters and designed to poach form the NDP (Very possibly UBI) and i bet he's PRAYING trump will win and he'll still try to scare people with 'too much conservative' on the contenent and vote for him to 'balance' things.
