‘We focused on whether the evidence was sufficient to charge any member of the campaign with taking part in a criminal conspiracy. It was not.’ Looks like you're the liar By your own quote he didn't even address 'collusion' which is not a legal term. So you're lying right off the bat when you claim he found 'tonnes' of evidence. HE found NONE - because he wasn't looking as it is not a legal term. In addition he found nothing that would support a charge against anyone in the campaign. Not just trump. So there absolutely was not russian 'collusion' And there's no evidence trump did anything illegal with the russians. While mueller has tried to say that Trump claiming 'no collusion' is misleading because that's not a 'real term', the fact is that was the term used by the dems and the FBI for years. So saying "well... TECHNICALLY it's not a real thing so we can't say there's no evidence of it" is just childish. No evidence that trump committed wrongdoing, Sorry, three years of a huge team investigating him and everyone he knows for nothing. Wah wah waaaaaaaah, you lose.2 points

Douglas Murray, editor of the Spectator, writing in the National Review, dares to openly state the problem with bringing in large numbers of Muslims and spending no effort to weed out those with bigoted, racist or misogynistic world views. What happens is your country changes. Things which were once open become closed. Ways and styles of behaviour, things you can say and do, will be threatened or changed by angry, religious fundamentalists who, as we all know, are quite willing to resort to violence to get their way. How many? What percentage? No one knows. No one dares to ask. But to quote Brigitte Gabriel, it's not the quiet mass of people who decide on things, it's the loud, angry and determined minority. It was that way in Germany in the 1930s, and in Japan, in Russia then and now. Most want to just get on with their lives. But they're irrelevant. China is the same. Most are peaceful people. But they're irrelevant. And most estimates of the world population say up to a quarter of Muslims could be considered hard core beliefs in a world wide caliphate and an Islamic state. And the more Muslims we allow in without any screening and without any effort at integration, the higher that population will become here. https://www.nationalreview.com/magazine/2023/12/how-mass-immigration-makes-antisemitism-worse/1 point

I hope those that want to, get a chance to attend some form of ceremony, I have the honor of attending this years ceremony with my son for the first time, he is on embarkation leave heading to Latvia soon and his unit gave him a pass to attend any event he wishes....it will be one of the highlights of my life to share a few beers with my son, while he is in uniform and get to share a few memories with my close army buddies. I know it is not fashionable nowadays, but if your inclined Please share a pray or thought for those that have sacrificed everything and came home in a flag draped coffins, or where injured and lets not forget those that left at little of ourselves over there...Pray that they have peace where ever they maybe. Thank you.1 point

According to studies, there are a number of serious consequences of marijuana legalization and use. One of them is: quote The molecular shape of THC is similar to the brain chemical anandamide to the point where the brain accepts the shape of the THC molecule in place of anandamide, resulting in an alteration in normal brain function. Anandamide (a type of endogenous cannabinoid) functions as a neurotransmitter, facilitating the transfer of messages in the sections of the nervous system that control movement, coordination, concentration, memory, pleasure, and time perception. THC is thus able to disrupt certain mental and physical functions, causing the effect of intoxication.8 THC impacts the area of the brain known as the hippocampus and a portion of the frontal cortex, both of which have profound influence in the development of new memories and enable the shifting of attention (see illustration on pages 18–19). A NIDA report states: As a result, using marijuana causes impaired thinking and interferes with a person’s ability to learn and perform complicated tasks. THC also disrupts functioning of the cerebellum and basal ganglia, brain areas that regulate balance, posture, coordination, and reaction time. This is the reason people who have used marijuana may not be able to drive safely….9 In 2007, a careful study exposed rats to THC at different phases of their life: before birth, after birth, and prior to maturity. All three samples demonstrated significant problems with learning and memory function for the rest of their lives.10 Other related studies showed that the exposure to THC prior to maturity increased the likelihood that the individual would self-administer other drugs to acquire the same or greater effect.11 unquote For the whole article including the other consequences of marijuana use go to: Marijuana: What They Aren’t Telling You | Tomorrow's World (tomorrowsworld.org)1 point

No shit. It's the same 4 or 5 debate tricks with them constantly, followed by whining about how we can't have rational conversations anymore. @SpankyMcFarland obviously thinks he's being clever - but all that kind of thing really does is cause people to lose respect for him as a person, his opinions as valid and the left wing in general. It broadens the gap instead of bringing people together and division and hatred is all the left has these days, It appeals to the weak minded, So you see it on the left quite a bit. But no matter what side it's on it should be called out. It's childish.1 point

Yeah - that kind of sounds like the same lack of thinking as "we need half a million!!!! DERP!!!!" How do you get to those numbers. They make NO sense. And 'screen for compatability' sounds like those re-tarded 'morals tests' that truly stupid people put forward a decade or so ago. We already use a points based system so we're already screening for 'compatibility'. And what benefit do we get increasing the length of qualification? I think we're done with just making shit up on the fly for immigration without thinking about it. We need people who can actually sit back and come to some numbers that make sense, not just base immigration on 'muh feels'.1 point

I just watched the video and it was sickening. Did you see that vile loser at 30 seconds in saying that they "had already asked that this be discussed in a closed session"? Our gov't didn't want the public to know about this.... What a contrast to the days of the Freedom Convoy, when the gov't was actually front and center lying about them every day. The MSM lapped it all up and made it headline news. The Freedom Convoy was denigrated 6 ways from Sunday for desecrating monuments (false), waving swastikas and confederate flags everywhere (false), threatening & harassing people (false), being a threat to the gov't (false), and finally attacked by our police, we have protesters attacking members of our gov't and we're hearing crickets from the PMO.1 point

repeat your anti semetic remarks you mean. The ones you actualy noted rashida said that caused that kafuffle - so i know you're aware it's antisemetic. The word "negro" appears in several legitimate texts as well but calling someone a 'n*gger' is still racist. This is why nobody takes the left seriously. You can't even have an adult conversation. You very deliberately use a term you very clearly know is racist based on the context you used it in, then pretend innocence and fake shock. "I don't understand - how is N*gger racist?!?! I'm just refering to black people... " I'm sure these cheap debate tricks work great at the preschool. Not so much here. When your argumetns get ignored in the future over subjects that matter to you, such as gun control, the cbc, social programs, funding cuts etc etc. just remember - you had the chance to have open and honest dialogues and you chose not to.1 point

I’m pretty sure the impairment is part of the enjoyment, don’t you think? Has marijuana use gone up since legalization? Is it easier to keep out of the hands of underage people when it’s legalized? Why should it be any of your business if someone wants to get impaired as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else?1 point

The things is that when it comes to Muslims, the social conservatism is very high, includes almost every practising Muslim whereas when it comes to say Christianity, it is low not sure how low but likely a small minority. What could be more hateful is to actually rape a teenage virgin the night before her excecution or rape and torture and kill her because she refused to wear the fu*cking Islamic hijab (Nika Shakarami in Islamic Republic). Death to any religion which advocates hating women to this extend.1 point

It's hard to fully capture how uninformed you are, and how committed you are to staying that way. Mueller's remit was exactly what Rosenstein said it was. That's the way the legal system works. I provided you an authoritative quote from an original source. You, in return, are simply making shit up. Collusion is not a term in criminal law. It's casual language. Hence it was not Mueller's mission. If you want to know what he was asked to investigate by Trump's DOJ, read the order. Again, it's just a single page. You can do it. And your characterization of Manafort's 18 felony charges as trivial technicalities is laughable. He was convicted but a jury on multiple charges, lost tens of millions of dollars and was sentenced to serious prison time. Because he was a fraudster like his big orange boss.1 point

Are you going to try to tell us all that we can import large numbers of Palestinians here without facing an increased terrorist threat? Sorry, but that's just a factor of your own rainbow ignorance. FYI there are two reasons why NO MUSLIM COUNTRIES ALLOW PALESTINIAN REFUGEES TO IMMIGRATE THERE: 1) They want the conflict against the Jews to stay hot, they want the eventual genocide to happen 2) They learned their lesson from Jordan, where the Palestinians that they allowed into their country allied with foreign gov'ts and tried to overthrow the Jordanian government.1 point

1. No, that was not the mandate. I don't know what garbage opinion peddler you're parroting, but it's clear you don't have any familiarity with the facts. The DOJ announcement: "Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein today announced the appointment of former Department of Justice official and FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III to serve as Special Counsel to oversee the previously-confirmed FBI investigation of Russian government efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election and related matters." You can read the order for yourself. It's just one page long. Again, you're trying to debate based upon a false premise.1 point
-
It's not a real question. It's a false premise. And the investigation started long before Clinton lost. That was not the impetus. The Trump campaign's shady connections to Russia drew the attention of the intelligence community well before the election. Here's a timeline. Click it and read it to learn.1 point

Unions had a place years ago, but they've grown to a stifling level. They are now expensive and bloated.1 point
-
I'm going to say it very slowly for you, dumbass. Ample evidence of collusion, which is not a legal term. Insufficient evidence to charge criminal conspiracy. Manafort went to extraordinary lengths to conduct ongoing secret meetings to share sensitive campaign intelligence with a Russian intelligence operative, who then delivered that same intel to the Kremlin. The same Kremlin that under Putin's orders was waging an election interference campaign against the American people with the aim of getting Trump elected. They did it over and over and over again. All of that is a matter of congressional record. You can't honestly say the evidence doesn't exist. You can just say it doesn't matter to you and that such behavior is okay.1 point
-
Hey, jackass, it's literally right there in the quote. Of course no one was charged with collusion. Not a legal term. Mueller did not think he could get a conspiracy conviction, so no such charges were filed. But that does not mean that there was no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russian intelligence. Rather, mountains of evidence that they did. You can tell yourself whatever little fantasies you like about why Manafort was having secret meetings to feed political intelligence to Russian agents. You can make up whatever excuses you like for why the Russians fed Stone advanced details of the hack and leak. But you can't deny those things happened. It's part of the congressional record. It's part of our history, and it will persist long after you Trump cultists and your demi-god are dead and buried. Your pathetic denials aren't going to look any rosier to future generations, who will wonder how anyone could support and defend such behavior. You a-holes have spun yourselves into a tizzy with mere conspiracy theories about Biden secretly in business with a hostile government, but when there's is black and white evidence of the a Trump campaign working with Russia you can't even be bothered to read it. Again, the level of blind, willful subservience is just pathetic. And to return to the point, no, Mueller did not say there was no evidence of collusion. So maybe stop saying that.1 point
-
My parents didn't really instill any pro or anti union sentiment in me growing up. But if you weren't raised to think harassing and causing violence against co-workers in order to further your own contract negotiations is about the most disgusting, immoral thing you can do then you weren't raised at all. People have freedom of association and are free to join or not join whatever union they wish and also are free go where they want, a mob shouldn't be allowed to harass them and physically block their path or otherwise act like a bunch of bullies.1 point
-
No, dummies, there were two charges that you are conflating in that quote. 1. The question of obstruction 2. The question of collusion which NO AMERICAN was charged. If there was nothing illegal than the entire investigation was a SCAM TO BEGIN WITH as we already know therefore by your own admission that collusion isn't a thing, it's not illegal for Trump not to cooperate with a SHAM of an investigation and the question of obstruction is mute. Just Hillary WHINING about losing to a political novice hahahahah1 point
-
No, he didn't. You are lying. As has been pointed out many times on this forum, this is what Mueller said: “The president was not exculpated for the acts that he allegedly committed,” Mueller told the House judiciary committee, adding that Trump could theoretically be indicted after he leaves office. “We did not address ‘collusion,’ which is not a legal term,” Mueller added. “Rather, we focused on whether the evidence was sufficient to charge any member of the campaign with taking part in a criminal conspiracy. It was not.” Mueller found an incredible amount of evidence of collusion (and even more was uncovered and confirmed in subsequent investigations. It's beyond any reasonable doubt that the Trump campaign colluded with Russian intelligence. But as Mueller said, that's a different question than proving criminal conspiracy.1 point

Do you think a worker who crosses the picket lines because they need to work should be harassed and targeted by other unionized workers like how some employers harass people who try to start or join a union? Do you believe people have a right to work? There's a difference between "respect" and someone's rights. I didn't say i support "unions", I said I support "union rights", which means the right to organize and strike and not be fired for trying to organize and strike. I support neither unions nor employers outright per say, I support their right to negotiate with each other.1 point
