Yes, the same 208 members of the house who voted that Kevin McCarthy should not be speaker in the first place still believed that several months later. Shocking. The rationale is that they want a more moderate speaker and always have. The objective is to get a more moderate speaker and a bigger voice in the direction of the house. The positive outcome that was expected (or hoped for) is to get a more moderate speaker and a bigger voice in the direction of the house. It was expected to benefit the country and the citizens because the Democrats believe that their policies are better for the country and the citizens, so a more moderate speaker and a bigger voice in the direction of the House is good for the country and the citizens. None of this is secret or difficult. As before, the majority party can either get their shit together and their conference in order and elect whoever they want, or they can consult and compromise with the Democrats and move forward in a more bipartisan manner. Just two choices. The Republicans are in the drivers seat.2 points

There were Jews who settled in Israel in the late 1800’s. They BOUGHT land and many were later murdered by the Arabs who also murdered the sellers. In 1917, Britain issued the Balfour Declaration, announcing support for a two state solution. In 1948, this became internally and legally recognized with a UN vote, and the Palestinians and SEVEN Arab nations immediately declared war on Israel. If you believe in miracles, face it: The idea that a brand new nation of war refugees fought off seven countries on all sides and WON… that is a miracle. And there was war after war after that. Consider one simple fact: The intent of every one of these wars was to 100% remove all Jews from the Middle East. And Israel won every time, and the Palestinians still live in Israel. In fact, over 20% of Israel’s population (not counting West Bank and Gaza, but Israel proper) is Palestinian Arab. 1 in 5 people. The Arab nations expelled their Jewish populations… no complaints about that in the UN, ever.2 points

A criminal is sitting in the White House now, thanks to voter fraud. Trump is the most honest president in history. And the NAZIS are engaging in election interference with these illegal indictments, all of which are being overturned by appellate justices. And CNN thinks it's way more important than it actually is. LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT TRUMP always made himself available to the press (real news like Fox and fake news like CNN) Because of CNN's tanking ratings, when newly elected President Trump has to appear before the press, probably the mainstream sources like Fox, Newsmax and Brietbart will get most of his attention, but unlike NAZIS LIKE YOU who would restrain a free press, LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT TRUMP will do no such thing. The Allies are coming, Sgt. Shultz. Your time of power is about to end. Seig Heil.2 points

The land of Israel has been populated by the Jewish people since 2000 BC. Here's the timeline, in case you didn't realize that it is their homeland, as designated by Yahweh. 1900 BC: - Abraham chosen by God as the Father of the Jewish Nation. 1900 BC: - Isaac, Abraham's son, rules over Israel. 1850 BC: - Jacob, son of Issac, rules over Israel. 1400 BC: - Moses leads the people out of Egypt and back to Israel. 1010 BC: - King David unites the 12 tribes into one nation. 970 BC: - King Solomon, son of David, builds the first temple structure in Jerusalem 930 BC: - Israel is divided into two kingdoms, the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah. 800s BC: - The rise of the prophets, God's messengers. 722 BC: - Kingdom of Israel is conquered by Assyrians. 605 BC: - Kingdom Judah is conquered by the Babylonians. 586 BC: - Solomon's Temple is destroyed by the Babylonians. 539 BC: - Persians conquer the Babylonians and take control of Israel. 538 BC: - The Jews return to Israel from exile. 520 BC: - The Temple is rebuilt. 450 BC: - Reforms made by Ezra and Nehemiah. 433 BC: - Malachi is the end of the prophetic age. 432 BC: - The last group of Jews return from exile. 333 BC: - The Greeks conquer the Persian empire. 323 BC: - The Egyptian and Syrian empire take over Israel. 167 BC: - Hasmonean's recapture Israel, and the Jews are ruled independently. 70 BC: - Romans conquer Israel. 20 BC: - King Herod builds the "third" temple 6 BC: - Jesus Christ is born in Bethlehem 70 AD: - Romans destroy the temple After that, the people were captives to the Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, and Crusaders. Through all of these events, the Jewish people continued to live in Israel. There were more or less of them, depending on the centuries, but there was never a time when the Jews didn't live in the land. They stayed, they built their communities, they raised their families, practiced their faith and they suffered at the hands of many outside rulers, but they always kept their faith. It is what sustains them, even now. May 1948: - the UN established the State of Israel, the nation of Jews. Don't buy the Palestinian lies that they are entitled to the land. It simply is not true. Yahweh will also provide a way for his chosen people to live in Israel, as He has for thousands of years. Fact. And facts don't care about your feelings, rag heads.1 point

https://archive.ph/lrzCl#selection-2199.0-2199.128 NDP heading back to Ottawa with questions for Prime Minister Trudeau on ‘why he’s not standing up for international law’ in Gaza 'If Canada truly believes in international law, we call it out every time it's broken. It doesn't matter the context,' says NDP MP Heather McPherson. On Oct. 14, the NDP passed an emergency resolution on Israel-Palestine which stipulates the party “call for an end to Israel’s total siege of Gaza which is prohibited under International Law.” The ndp has to tread carefully here but we all knew they were going to be siding with hamas. The left is very very anti semetic and the ndp can't afford to lose those votes. The thing is isreal has declared war. So if they really cared about palestine they would be calling for the surrender of hamas but they're not. And again - "our side is almost out of bullets - you should be demanding a ceasefire on their behalf". Yeah right. This is going to be a tough one for the libs to walk.1 point

Israel says it was a failed Hamas rocket launch. It could also have been a mistake on Israel's part. I fail to see what is in it for them to do it intentionally other than a PR disaster. It has no military purpose.1 point

https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/warmington-machine-gun-earrings-terrorist-flags-anti-semitism-rampant Machine-gun earrings, terrorist flags — anti-Semitism rampant First, there was a shocking display of support for Hamas terrorists in Mississauga by a protester flaunting gold machine-gun earrings. Then came the arrival of a pickup truck with occupants flying Taliban flags. Even some condoning the “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” chants knew it was too much and asked men in a truck to tuck them away. A woman wearing a headscarf bearing Palestinian colours, a “don’t give up the gun” martyr T-shirt and large gold AK-47 earrings declared Hamas was right to slaughter more than 1,300 civilians and kidnap a 199. For example, there were graffiti attacks on a mosque in Toronto’s east-end, a Hamas flag at last Monday’s Toronto protest and an anti-Semitic slogan written on a building in Etobicoke’s Centennial Park over the weekend which said “attack the Jew.” Police have made an arrest in the first one and are investigating the other two incidents. “The continued presence at rallies across the country of the flags of listed terrorist entities demonstrates that these rallies are not as advertised,” said B’nai Brith research manager Richard Robertson. “They are not being used to encourage peace, but rather are serving as sites of convergence for those who wish to promote hate.”1 point
-
Back to the topic.. I would say that there is and should not be a legal mechanism for stopping support rallies for topics like this. Do I support Hamas? No. The point is that government should not be the one to decide whether the topic of protest is valid. Society has a way of weeding that out. In Coeur D' Alene Idaho, they used to have an Aryan Nations March in downtown. The city approved the permit and let them have it... and as time went on, the attendance and participation dwindled to nothing. I was there during the last attempt.. It was two men with one pulling a dog in a wagon and that's it. Rather pathetic. The very few attendees were laughing as well.1 point

Clearly some crimes are worse than others. Some are true monsters in history. Others supported by powerful allies, then taken out when it suits them. For example Saddam who butchered Kurds, commited crime against humanity. He uses VX gas given to Iraq by US via Donald Rummy. US allowed it and did not interfere. The now famous photo- Meanwhile Stalin, whom the allies cooperated and did business with, is said to be responsible for killing 25 million in WW2.1 point

In less than two years of his brutal war Putin killed more people, innocent neighbors and his own, than Hitler in the entire period of 1933 to 1940 (inclusive). You can add to it Chechen war atrocities; Georgian war atrocities; Syria war atrocities and war crimes. These are the facts. The casualty toll of the Kristallnacht, horrible as it was, was about a hundred. Putin killed dozens of innocent civilians in a single missile strike, very recently and he launches them by a dozen, almost daily. You are only a bunch of pathetic liars who couldn't admit the reality because it would contradict the dogma of your Lying Idol. Nothing you say means much, it's only hot air and dust. You cannot support it neither with facts nor with logical arguments. Sad, pathetic and entirely useless.1 point

One person is saying that 1900 BC is relevant today, not "all conservatives", which you're implying. Slavery is relevant in some conversations, but it's not the basis of all discussions. Also, when it's brought up, the topic needs to be discussed from a factual standpoint and not a bunch of ridiculous leftard talking points. The Civil Rights Act is relevant, I don't know why it wouldn't be, and despite the fact that it was a Dem bill, a greater percentage of GOP voted for it than Dems in both the Senate and Congress. It's the only bill in the history of democracy that received greater support from across the aisle than from the party who tabled it.1 point

It is absolutely disgusting that you try to justify the mass murder of Palestinian women and children. This has always been your Zionist way. I recognize that. But democracies require certain elements/abilities not present in Russia. Like, for example, the ability to run in an election against Putin. The last guy who seemed interested in doing that is serving twenty years in prison after surviving an attack by poison. In fact, anyone who dares criticize government policies tends to wind up dead or in prison. Another thing a democracy requires is some form of media that can inform the people about what is happening. Russia lacks anything like a free media. A third thing a democracy requires is free elections. Anyone who thinks Putin's boys and girls wouldn't stuff the ballot boxes is painfully naive.1 point

Ever heard of that? How about the stupid email server? And let’s not forget… trying to bring impeachment charges against Biden on his Inauguration Day. So boo-hoo with your “We’re so innocent” nonsense. Now former President Shlthead is facing 91 felony charges plus piles of civil fraud charges plus rape and now he’s on the verge of being Constitutionally banned from running for office. Thats what happens when you elect a criminal. You knew he was a rapist before you elected him, you knew he was a fraud, you knew he discriminated against minorities. And Christ, if you thought the guy was honest you’re deluded. So spare us the crocodile tears. Vote for a guy who isn’t a lifelong criminal, dummy!1 point

So you chose to repeat Putin's (Hitler's 100%) propaganda points? And no other ideas? Since when "something belonged to someone some time ago" or "some part of population speaks something" is a valid excuse for an aggressive war? Let's understand it for clarity, before going any further: do you agree with Hitler's and Putin's excuses for their war? International law, independence, security doesn't mean anything, from now on? Anyone can invade and attack anybody for pretty much any pretext like look he speaks another language gotcha? Only one question then: that makes you think like who? Like responsible citizen in a modern democracy? Or like Putin and Hamas? So we were talking about essential differences and here's what you came up with. OK. And Hitler's context was unique too, in your private reality? Why Hitlers context couldn't be "unique" while every other murderous thug can claim it, in your private model of law and morality? So, no general principles exist in it, any longer? Jack is a criminal and James, "sketchy" because so you say? Congrats. That's a natural result of turning off own brain and parroting dumb, not even close to smart or plausible, lies. No that's just dumb. I said before I cannot have no discussions with the folk who create their own private realities. It sure within their right, but no rational conversation is possible in such cases. It would be a waste of everybody's time. But at least the condition can be verified objectively now.1 point

Personally, I see no "leadership" qualities in Jagmeet at all. I do see (or hear) him every once in a while, mostly to demand something from Trudeau and that normally does not happen. He has a huge hammer and has not even threatened to use it. We are where we are in this country because Jagmeet is as much Trudeau's puppet as Trudeaus members of cabinet. No, it was actually Premier Gordon Campbell, leader of the then B.C. Liberal Party that brought the carbon tax in in 2008. The BC Liberals are far from being "conservative". They changed their name recently to the B.C. United Party. They are an NDP lite party. B.C. is too much of a leftist province with lots of tree huggers and environmental radicals and people living off the government. The NDP has led the failing health care system and broken BC Ferry system, mills shutting down, and housing shortage, and high gas prices. Vancouver Island has the highest number of people receiving medical assistance in dying in Canada. The disaster will continue with the people choosing the quasi Socialist NDP.1 point
