1. Well that's a good perspective.  What about if somebody on here - a board cohort - tells me a falsehood ?
2. Well sure but... these are humans not robots.  That said, of course you can call them out.  That is what the whole woke movement is about also right ? ;)
3.You are starting to drill down into the human psyche here.  And you can start to understand why the very well-educated John Crosbie of Newfoundland spoke purposely in a heavy Newfoundland accent when in parliament...

1. Then your cohort is either mis-informed or lying. The question is, who populated your cohort with a warped sense of reality. How did your cohort come to believe lying is justified? Who's the real culprit here?

2. NO! The 'woke movement' is an effort to tear our society down and remake it. To Build Back Better. A New Normal. Evidence clearly exhibits what this New Normal would look like. Some of the evidence is the idea that we should be ratting out our family and friends. To 'cancel' them, if they step out of line. Its not just a means of pointing out lies, its a club to keep people afraid to voice opposing opinions and to point out the lies of these 'Wokesters'. It openly attacks Gawd...family...and any other stabilizing force in peoples' lives...presumably in favour of pure chaos and of course...the ensuing violent reactions. Its a sick and disturbing social development that serves no good purpose.

3. I bet Crosbie's antics worked too. A full 75% of humans do not wish to exercise their ability to think for themselves. Its way too easy just to follow along with the 25% who do. Unfortunately, that 25% is now polluted with trained 'Wokesters' who are now trying to teach such destructive crap to our kids. These agents of chaos need to be rooted out and dispensed with.

99% chance that it came from CNN/CBC or it's a CNN/CBC-approved falsehood, so it's all good.

You might even click the 'like' button on it.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

The first convoy departed Prince Rupert, B.C. on Jan. 22 and arrived at a truck stop at Twin City Crossroads on West Arthur Street at about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, with plans to depart the city on Thursday morning. About 113 transports and 276 other vehicles crossed the Ontario border as part of the convoy, according to the Ontario Provincial Police. Hundreds of supporters were on hand to greet the convoy.

Everything he does is being carefully calculated and strategized to manipulate the public.  He's officially isolating for at least 2 reasons.  1) To garner sympathy from gullible Canadians, and 2), to irritate the convoy and those who support it.

Trudeau makes some bombastic comments about the trucker convoy yesterday and today he goes into hiding.  It's trolling 101.  They want to whip up anger among the truckers, hoping that this produces incidents of violence so they can shut them down.  I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they've got the army on standby.

If one truck goes 8 km/h over the speed limit they'll all be branded as terrorists.

Do you think that getting more supporters is a valid way to assess the value of a message?

Kanye West, Justin Trudeau and The Toronto Maple Leafs are also supported by lots of people... ?

I dont see it as helping. They are blocking ordinary people from going to the overpass and doing things like waving flags in support to cheer them on, as they drive by here tonight around 5 pm.

Uh... no.  680 news reported people on every overpass between London and Milton, so ... the police are helping.  And by the declaration of convoyers many police support them.

113 trucks is a LOT of trucks.  Impressive.  What's more is that they should each get about $40,000 if the $4.5M that Ms. Tamara Lich collected is distributed fairly.  Will that cover expenses ?  Likely pay off some of the truck.

Again, it's not distributed.

It is for expenses incurred for being in the convoy - gas, food, lodging.  Not all need lodging, some have sleeper cabs, many people have offered places to stay along the way, including one motel I know of that put up the convoy for the night for free.  People have been providing a lot of food - meeting them on the highway and distributing bag meals or setting up dinner stations at the end of the day's run.

Leftover money will be donated to Veteran's groups.

I did.

But you are, of course, free to do so, as well.

The 276 other vehicles are also part of the convoy, nice try but your bias is showing.  And hundreds more truckers(in various vehicles) are also coming up from the Eastern provinces and the US.

I dont know about that. Here in my town the message from police is clear. Stay away. The roads are being closed and barricades going up. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed through. Nearby bus routes are being closed.

Its not clear if pedestrians will be allowed. However its not a pedestrian area. There are no sidewalks. Hopefully they will let people go there if they want, we’ll see!

Belleville overpasses are full of supporters... to the point where it's becoming unsafe...

Misinformation about the truck convoy.

https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-coronavirus-canada-idUSL1N2U72IN?fbclid=IwAR0A9SX0uCvCNUPoctbI26twqNEhVAuDbrmbdXMKqazMzZ3r9FV1JCF5RTE

“I don't think anyone really grasps how big this is,” said one caption on Facebook (here). “From every corner of the country. Rolling into Ottawa and staying put until action is taken.”

Others captioned the photo “freedom convoy” (here , here , here and here).E

However, the picture has nothing to do with the protest convoy. Reuters traced it back to July 2019, where it was shared online in relation to a truck show in Alberta (here).

And where did they get this photo?

In a social media message to Reuters, the Blackjacks Roadhouse & Games Room said: “We can confirm that we own the photo used in both the links you provided.

“This photo was taken at Blackjacks Roadhouse & Games Room in Nisku, Alberta on July 6th, 2019 during the Pro-Trucker Magazine Big Rig Show & Shine.”

The spokesperson added that the photo had been used in the social media posts about the convoy without permission.

Yep. That's exactly what they said in the news bulletin about shutting down all the roads leading to our one overpass. It is for our own safety.

So one guys photo means that the countless hours of video evidence taken on the convoy of large crowds is "disinformation".

No wonder only a small fridge minority trusts the press anymore

I didn't say that; I merely pointed out that not everything put out by convoy supporters is necessarily true.

O'Toole says the country is divided. I'd say the country is united over pushing back against government overreach.

Many are commenting that this is the first time they've felt HOPE in 2 years.

The support from the Hutterites and the Indigenous people has been wonderful, too - and not being picked up in the press.

The Hutterites know the government wants their land.

And I imagine the Indigenous people know what happened last time they had to have a pass to go anywhere.......

The link is from Rueters....what a shocker.  One of their chairmen is also an executive at Pfizer.

Let's guess what kind of "factchecking" and "investigative" news comes from Rueters.....?

If a photo is not copyrighted and is in the public domain it can be used.  The trucker convoy used a picture of a truck convoy before they had any pictures of their particular truck convoy to show what the group was about.  What a bunch of bastardos.?
