  2. And now it’s Trump’s turn to face the music. Michael Cohen went to prison for this and Trump was absolutely a co-conspirator in the same crimes. The real problem is if some people are allowed to break laws.

  3. It bothers me to no avail, that some believe he does. What he represents, is the growing anger in the US with far left policies. He saw the anger, and fanned the flames for his benefit. Those feeling that anger that believe in him, don't realize that he doesn't care about you. He cares about himself and people like him. He in no way shape or form, represents the governing principles that guide a true conservative. Heck he doesn't even remotely embody the professionalism and principles for the position he swore to uphold.

  4. They are not secret crimes...which makes this singular focus on Trump so remarkably biased. For instance, do you know how JFK interfered in a Canadian federal election against PM John Diefenbaker in 1963 ? Or how about LBJ and the Gulf of Tonkin resolution ? JFK - Bay of Pigs...Harding - Teapot Dome....Clinton - Sexual Assault...Nixon - Watergate...Reagan - Iran Contra....Biden - Sexual Assault...Bush - WMD...Obama - War Crimes...the list is quite long.

  5. And you do? What are these super secret crimes that rival Trump's and hardly anyone knows about? I'm guessing they're so secret you cannot even provide any evidence of them. You sound like my father, who loved Nixon so much he excused his crimes with the same "everyone does it," excuse. Of course he thought that Nixon's greatest crime was getting caught. LMAO.

  6. I don’t want anybody’s ass. Well.. not any man’s ass, that’s for sure. I believe that Donald Trump has been VERY loose with following the law. I sincerely do. Example One: When the biggest issue in America was Russia’s obvious interference in the election, and whether Trump was involved, Donald asked Russia on live TV to release Hillary’s emails… and they did!!! I don’t know if that broke a law or not, but it’s an awfully criminal thing to do. Number Two: After ALL of the Russia investigation, it should have been beyond crystal clear that you don’t ask a foreign government to intervene in your election.. which is precisely what Trump did in that phone call to the Ukrainian President. HE KNEW BETTER!!! They definitely told him not to do something like that. Then he took a LOT of classified documents and refused to give them back and falsely claimed that he’d given them all back. These things he did were not accidental. All three were very deliberate. Why did he do all this? Because he’s a rich a-hole and he thinks the laws don’t apply to him

  11. it's not a cultural issue William Prince of Orange founded the modern liberal British state in the Glorious Revolution of 1688 which led directly to the Act of Union 1707, the founding of the United Kingdom and by the liberalism of King William's Parliamentary Supremacy Great Britain quickly rose to become the most powerful & prosperous nation on earth which led to the defeat of the French in the Seven Years War which founded Canada by the Treaty of Paris 1763, the basis of all Canadian constitutional law Queen Elizabeth II & King Charles III are the descendants of the Prince of Orange the heirs to the throne of William III this is not cultural, this is the very foundation of Canada, in legally binding constitutional terms

  15. Doesn't matter...this indictment opens up another level in political warfare on both sides. Whatever remaining sanctity that the judicial system had (and it wasn't that much), is now extinguished going forward. Maybe we can charge Jimmy Carter before he dies in hospice !

  16. Yes but I oppose cancelling such organizations without a damn good reason. I vehemently oppose slavery but oppose taking down Robert E. Lee’s statue. Add plaques with new voices and perspectives, but I almost always oppose bans on expression and social organizations, unless they are of a terrorist nature. Plotting and/or carrying out violence is NOT okay, but that’s not what the Orange Order does.

  17. Sorry, but even Trump gets due process under the law, regardless of Mao or Stalin. The indictment is certainly politically motivated at several levels, but only serves to give Trump more free media attention....even in Canada.

  18. As a Catholic with Scott’s-Irish background and a British parent, and as someone who has studied the history of the treatment of Catholics over British history, I think I can weigh in on this. My grandfather remembers a very Protestant Toronto where there were signs in stores barring Catholics from employment. Catholics couldn’t own property and didn’t have voting rights for a long time in Britain. Canada was more progressive because Confederation accepted the Catholic historic reality of the residents of Quebec, Acadia, and Francophone communities as far west as Manitoba and even Alberta. It took a long time, but the British Commonwealth ended discrimination against Catholics. There are no discriminatory racial and religious policies in England and English Canada today. The Anglican Church is part of British culture and Canadian culture. It is de-emphasized across Canada and there is no prayer in public schools. Britain ushered in bans on slavery before just about every other country, including the United States. No doubt there is tremendous cultural value and meaning in recognizing our British cultural heritage, including recognizing William of Orange and associated societies. Do NOT cancel or heap accusations of discrimination against the Orange Order. Enough of cancel culture and rewriting history.

  23. Removing even one statue IS attempting to erase lincon. It's LITERALLY trying to erase him - as in we'll just scrub him off the face of the earth here... Sorry - it's like saying "Just because hitler killed SOME jews doesn't mean he wanted to kill ALL jews". And republicans are quite happy to have the civil rights move ment taught. show me one single republican who says they want ALL civil rights movement history banned. There is a massive massive difference between " I want to take what we have and make changes to improve it" and "I want to tear down everything we have and rebuild it from scratch into my vision of utopia" Your response shows you KNOW you're wrong. Republicans would never say that. Republicans, as you note ,make positive changes all the time. Republicans WOULD asy that YOUR desire to tear down america entirely and rebuild a socialist state is a result of your hatred of America. And they'd have a point - wanting to destroy something is pretty much a solid indication you're not a fan. You're talking to the mirror again i see The authortarian fascist left are the ones who want to fundimentally change america, No.. still you. And this is a constant tactic we see from the left - Accuse others of what you're doing to cover your tracks. If you're a facscist call yourself an Anti-fascist for example. You HATE democracy. You wish you could end democracy and force others to do what you believe in. THat's why you cancel people.

But, unless you do that, is not my fault you can not hold in the Colosseum and you resort to thug tactics to win an argument. This is what weak drunks do. Some drunks get up and in their pain try to leave something behind. Other drunks like you, get up and want to attack everyone. Is all about education, "Dougie93." I am not like the elitists keeping you on ignore or the RW Establishment looking at you as a cockroach that they need the vote from, but really, I did see your writings when you are sober, lots of potential and lots to offer, yet, you chose to go tribal. You stand no chance here, because even though 1-3 give you the likes, I win the rating game. Everytime you answer, i win the rating game and driving traffic here, is that simple logistics.

  25. In the US. I hope you do realize that conservative views differ vastly from one country, to the next. You just maybe should specify what media you are eluding to. Otherwise you need to demonstrate how globally that all conservatives are represented by Donald Trump. Do you think before you post? Sure. Don't you think the abolition of slavery should be celebrated? So, to twist the reality. Censor history. Slavery wasn't pretty. This was depicted with this statue. I don't understand the problem. How is defacing history different? She met requisites. Over a year and a half. She was. See above. After, hence the uproar by girls who worked their entire lives, no longer able to compete. Only several had the guts to publicly voice their displeasure, as the fear of killing their careers made the remainder remain quiet. This is your view of equality. Women being silenced. The sad part to me, is you so blind to your alliances not realizing how you sound no different than a Donald Trump supporter. Same level of bias. I hear more left and right hate from you, than sticking to the point of debate. Someone lucid, will debate my points. You're just as separated from reality and common sense. You just happen not to wear a MAGA hat.

  28. $35 million? There are about 35 million Canadians. We each paid 1$ for this trip. ==== We all receive an annual Tax Statement from Revenue Canada. I have always preferred a statement to show also: "Your $356.37 tax payment was used to pay part of the hotel cost/limo driver of our PM during his visit in Helsinki." Or "Your $356.37 tax payment was given to Donna Smith in Calgary - it was part of her GST refund." In a civilized society, taxpayers need to see - visibly - how their money is used.

  32. It is possible to be a patriot without blindly following individuals. Patriotism is about love and loyalty towards one's country and a desire to work towards its betterment. Being an anarchist is not the only alternative to following men, as there are other forms of political and social philosophies that emphasize individualism and self-determination while still valuing patriotism. Ultimately, being a patriot involves a complex set of beliefs and actions that cannot be reduced to a simplistic dichotomy between blind allegiance and anarchism.

  36. Divisiveness is not the secret to America's success. Cooperation and working towards common goals is what has made America great. Patriotism is about supporting and loving your country, but it doesn't mean blindly accepting everything it does. It means working towards making it better and holding it accountable for its actions. Being patriotic means being loyal to your country and its values, not just a specific leader or government. It means working towards the greater good and standing up for what is right.

  38. @Nationalist is too lazy to do the work, so will start a thread for his idea. His theory is that Hunter Biden laptop story had an impact on the 2020 election! and he yells this daily, that I can hear him through my computer screen. What is the Hunter's Biden laptop story? It is around a laptop that allegedly belonged to Hunter Biden and was allegedly dropped off at a computer repair shop in Delaware in 2019. The owner of the repair shop supposedly made a copy of the hard drive and turned it over to the FBI, who held onto it until after the 2020 election. As this is a democracy, I think we can disagree, and I will: The Reason: The FBI's investigation into the laptop was ongoing, and it's not uncommon for law enforcement agencies to hold onto evidence until the investigation is complete.Even if the laptop had been released earlier, there's no evidence that it would have significantly impacted the election, given the short timing. Poll: Do you believe the Hunter Biden laptop story had any impact on the 2020 election? My answer: NO.

  41. The hypocrisy in this message, "fair elections" and "free elections". Just a reminder: In Pennsylvania, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit seeking to invalidate millions of mail-in ballots, alleging that the state's election was marred by widespread fraud. The case was dismissed by a federal judge who cited a lack of evidence to support the campaign's claims. In Michigan, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit seeking to stop the certification of the state's election results. The case was dismissed by a judge who ruled that the campaign had failed to provide evidence of fraud or irregularities. In Arizona, the Trump campaign filed a lawsuit seeking to have some ballots disqualified due to alleged errors in the way they were filled out. The case was dismissed by a judge who ruled that the campaign had not provided evidence of widespread irregularities.

  45. COVID-19-Associated cardiac pathology at the postmortem evaluation: a collaborative systematic review - PubMed (nih.gov) One of the most common objections we hear in response to obvious vaccine injury is that “covid causes myocarditis too.” Doctors often trot this lame canard out to justify taking the vaccines even though myocarditis is now officially recognized as a side-effect of the shots. “But you can get myocarditis from the virus too, so the risk evens out,” they babble semi-coherently. It's an irrational argument anyway, because serious covid is a risk you can or may avoid, but taking the shots ON PURPOSE is a risk you definitely encounter. But the researchers of this study conducted a systematic review of 50 autopsy studies and dissected 548 hearts of patients who died of or with covid. They frequently found tissue edema and necrosis, and roughly two thirds of autopsied hearts had detectable covid virus in the cardiac tissue. But NONE of the hearts had extensive myocarditis as the cause of death. Zero. This meta-review should end the debate over whether covid can cause fatal myocarditis. Despite finding the virus in heart tissue, the researchers did NOT find it was causing any significant inflammation. The only new proven cause of heart damage is covid vaccination.
