  1. In 2021, Republicans have full control of more state governments (23) compared to Democrats (15) and that includes more total population too. People vote for "right wing" candidates because they want to, the same reason that people vote for leftist "progressives". They are called elections for a reason..."this is what democracy looks like". https://www.atr.org/map/

  2. Remember that when you go to the voting booth in November. That right wing States have the Highest crime rate, highest homicide rate, over all highest death by gun, dependency on the blue states with the highest dependency on fed, Highest ignorance, highest rape rate, The most unsafe cities over 200,000, Highest welfare , highest food stamps support, worst states to bring up children, the worst income in this country, most hate groups, highest inflation March 2021 to March 2022, States with the most unsafe cities', the least safe states and worst education. Give me one reason that would suggest you're not brain-dead stupid by voting for a republican. One more point if the economy is at all a concern to you, you would be an idiot to vote for a republican president, They are a disaster for the economy compared to democrats that are elected presidents. That's by every aspect of our economy. Don't argue unless you have a real source that says that something I said above is not correct. This should be the only information that comes out of the mouth of any progressive politician or candidate. IN fact, why isn't it.

  3. Is that any worse than modern-day liberalism, which is seeking to open a pathway for children to get access to gender reassignment therapy, including genital mutilation, just via communication between the child and school counsellors, where parents are excluded from the conversation?

  4. Branch Covidians: But where are the peer reviewed medical studies that show the jabs are not effective? Conspiracy Theorists: **provides 50-60 links** Branch Covidians: **provides 3 CBC headlines that say the opposite** Branch Covidians: If there are vaccine injuries, where are all these people? Conspiracy Theorists: Here's 2 websites where people post their stories. Branch Covidians: They're all lying. Branch Covidians: There are no doctors or scientists who think the vaccines are not safe or effective. Conspiracy Theorists: Here is a list of scientists and here are all there substacks and here are the news reports of thousands of doctors who signed petitions. Branch Covidians: They're all idiots. Branch Covidians: Vaccine deaths are rare. Conspiracy Theorists: Here is the VAERS data, that is well known to be underreported and here is testimony from doctors saying they are being coerced into not reporting and losing their licences for reporting. Branch Covidians: VAERS is not reliable, everyone who posts there are liars. Branch Covidians: Where are the doctors who are changing their views after all these studies are coming in? Conspiracy Theorists: There are lots. Here is one top cardiologist in the UK who did. Branch Covidians: He was never a real cardiologist. Branch Covidians: You can't link the vax to deaths. Conspiracy Theorists: 90%+ deaths happen within 48 hours of vaccination. Branch Covidians: That's just coincidence. Branch Covidians: The jabs don't cause heart attacks. Conspiracy Theorists: Here are the studies showing they do, and here are the stats for young people dying of heart attacks, increasingly alarmingly. Branch Covidians: Children have always had heart attacks. That doesn't prove anything. Branch Covidians: The jabs keep you from getting and spreading infection. Conspiracy Theorists: Then why is everyone on their 4th jab and getting re-infected over and over again? Why do you need 4-5 jabs in a year and half? Here are the stats and data. Branch Covidians: Well, they were NEVER promised to stop infection. But they keep you from hospitalization and death. Conspiracy Theorists: Then why are vaccinated people getting hospitalized and dying of covid in larger ratios than unvaccinated people? Here are the stats and data. Branch Covidians: Because there are more vaccinated people, dummy! Conspiracy Theorists: But we're talking ratios here. Branch Covidians. There are more vaccinated people, dummy! Conspiracy Theorists: Remember, we are talking ratios here. Branch Covidians: THERE ARE MORE VACCINATED PEOPLE THAN UNVACCINATED, DUMMY! Conspiracy Theorists: OK. See? It's a cult.

  5. Demanding that America remain a world leader is still politicizing the move to alternative energy. About 80% of the world's economy was powered by fossil fuels as of 2019, hence the term "hydrocarbon economy". The United States (and allies) have a huge interest and investment in remaining the "leader" there as well.

  6. A pro-life activist named Mark Houck likes to pray for people outside of an abortion clinic in Philadelphia. Scary, right? Last October he was outside of an abortion clinic doing his thing when a 72-yr-old man, who was escorting someone from the clinic, allegedly verbally abused his son. Houck allegedly pushed the man, and the man tried to have him charged. Police responded but they didn't arrest him and they didn't charge him. The Philadelphia DA also declined to prosecute Houck for the alleged push. But wait, isn't there something that can be done to a man for allegedly pushing a man who allegedly verbally abused his son? Not really. A push isn't usually a good enough reason to charge someone criminally unless there's a train track, speeding car or a cliff nearby, and in this case there wasn't. It wasn't done with intent to injure and the "victim" wasn't injured. There's also the issue of consenting to violence by verbally abusing a child. Luckily for the man who was pushed, Biden's DOJ and FBI aren't accountable to any laws or ethical standards. Biden's FBI showed up at the man's home earlier this month, almost a full year after the incident, in force. Between 20-30 officers with shields and loaded assault rifles pounded on his door and dragged him out of his home in shackles, in front of his kids. Was that really necessary for a push from a year ago, you ask? That's not even the bad part. The bad part is what he was arrested for: The use of the word "and" there is curious, because it implies that you need all 3, as opposed to or, which would require just 1 of the 3. It's probably more of an "or" situation anyways, because intimidating and interfering are probably not allowed. https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/252385/mark-houck-fbi-arrest-abortion-clinic If he had just assaulted a cashier, looted a store, and then burned it down, would Biden's FBI treat him like this? This is just more evidence of how low the FBI has sunk, and the extent to which Biden has weaponized the DOJ and FBI to enforce his repugnant, divisive politics.

  7. As per NASA, the earth is not on a turtle's back. But, they are white supremacists who work in an organization rooted in systemic racism so what do they know? Imagine people doing land acknowledgements that recognize " turtle Island"? Sounds like a cult. If you use a wheel or a wheel like product, thank colonialism. The wheel did not exist in pre Colonial Americas. Nor did electricity, roads, hospitals, schools, cars, planes, gas/ectric heated homes, refrigerators. If you are not Indigenous, you are a settler and you are in Canada because you love colonialism. You cannot be a non indigenous person living in Canada and enjoying the wonders of European arrival and claim to be be against colonialism and to be pro Indigenous people. If you are a pro Indigenous settler, leave Canada, hand over your land and stop using Indigenous water, air, and resources. Be honest. If you believe that the earth sits on the back of a turtle, let me sell you the myth of systemic racism and white privilege too! Donate millions to radical violent organizations so they can buy luxury houses! And, you can virtue signal on social media what a hero you are! If you want to honour the pre Colonial way, like the Aztecs and human sacrifices and slavery. Slavery in the Pacific Northwest developed at some point between 500 B.C. and A.D. 500, long before European contact, and at contact, slaves were clearly set apart from the existing tribal ranking system and prestige-seeking in the region. Early indigenous peoples also possessed other practices that predated contact with the British and Europeans: cannibalism and the killing of slaves, the latter of which also occurred and for a variety of reasons: funeral feasts, the building of a new home, a new title, the erection of a totem pole, or as part of the ceremony at potlatches. A Russian Orthodox priest recounted how in one Sitka ceremony where a new clan chief was appointed, four slaves were strangled as part of the ritual. Ah...the good ole days. Migwetch

The place we passed to catch the ferry to my sister's was washed away by a hurricane. 600 people died from a heat wave where I grew up. The icefield is like a 4 mile drive from where we used to get on the snow bus... Maybe someone else should pull his head out of his ass instead of YELLING that it's not true.

  15. Scientists Debunk UN "Climate" Hysteria "PARIS — Amid United Nations efforts to shackle humanity to a UN “climate regime” at the COP21 global-warming summit, an international team of scientists and experts from various fields debunked the hysteria at a separate conference in Paris for realists. Essentially, the prestigious scientists said, there is no man-made global-warming crisis. The UN’s “climate” efforts, meanwhile, have a much more sinister agenda: Destroying industrial civilization, propping up kleptocrats with Western tax funds, and seizing control of the global economy under the guise of regulating the immensely beneficial “gas of life,” also known as carbon dioxide. The top U.S. senator on the Environment Committee also offered a message of hope to climate realists, saying the “climate charade” by the UN and the Obama administration was dead on arrival. 17. 1. Labelling me anything 'progressive' or 'dummy' as you called me a few posts back, doesn't help your argument. From my point of view I identify as CONSERVATIVE because I believe in open debate, and examination of facts as they are presented by our trusted institutions. 2. Because I take my efforts here seriously, I went back to double check to verify that YES I did read it. Here is the excerpt from the article you posted which makes it even clearer that Hansen wasn't developing models about earth's climate: ""they also had available a computer program developed by Dr. James Hansen there to study the optical properties of the clouds of Venus"" "They" being the researchers who developed the theory and the paper. 3. Hansen's program was likely one of several inputs into what they were doing. If Hansen himself was developing the whole model (and not just the part about light defraction that he provided) then why wasn't his name on the paper ? These are questions I ask honestly. 4. Yes, that is the claim. Then Hansen refuted that with reasons. The article that is underneath the claim has elements that cast doubt on the claim also. Just because somebody wrote a text on blogger, doesn't mean it's supported. 5. I don't think he would be getting much credit, since he wasn't even an author of the paper. If an ice age "did happen" (not enough time but ok...) or signs of an ice age were happening, Hansen like all scientists would have published papers to investigate it, come to conclusions etc. As long as we're in the realm of science, not media or whatnot, there's really no doubt what's happening with climate.

  21. CO2 is a trace gas in atmosphere to begin with and man's contribution is only 3% of that miniscule amount. The total CO2 in the atmosphere is about 400 PPM. Of that Canada's fossil fuel contribution is about 0.18 PPM, next to nothing. The chances of man being the cause of climate change is negligible enough to say non-existent.

  24. 75 to 150 years ago I think the government thought that native youth needed to be assimilated into Canadian society in order to function as a normal human being. I doubt they thought assimilation was a form of genocide. Leaving them uneducated on reserves was considered a non-starter and churches with staff to run residential schools had no intention of setting up schools on reserves. It is doubtful anyone would want to go and live in a reserve to begin with. I don't think anyone today would either. Sadly there were some bad actors in the residential school system who did abuse a lot of them. But in light to today's thinking, the residential school system was a bad idea. Hindsight is always better than foresight.

  26. See this is why it's kind of pointless to give a Progressive both sides when they ask for a cite. They'll only read the side that favors them then strut around like they're all of a sudden experts on the issue you just told them about a post ago. I think the problem now is you don't understand the difference between a program and the model it creates. Climate models happen when a program parses data into readable predictions of what to expect when conditions meet the programmed structure. Models make predictions. Programs create them. So now do you understand what the first cite I gave you was saying? Or are you still locked into only considering the one I generously gave you showing Hansen's denial after the prediction of an ice age didn't happen. Here the fist cite again so you can actually read it this time: " "Hansen’s climate model says ice age to occur by 2021, ‘no need to worry about CO2’ http://hockeyschtick.blogspot.com/2014/05/flashback-hansens-climate-model-says.html Flashback from the Washington Times, July 9, 1971, a NASA scientist using a “computer program developed by Dr. James Hansen” predicted an ice age would occur within 50-60 years. According to Hansen’s computer model, “they found no need to worry about the carbon dioxide fuel-burning puts in the atmosphere.” Here's a question for you. If a glacial ice age did happen do you think Hansen would be denying that the model his program created worked?

  28. South Africa has the same phrase in its constitution once again, that is not unique nor original to Canada lots of former British colonies claim that motto there is literally nothing original to Canada you are simply propagating mottos of the British Empire the American motto is : Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness that's America's motto, but that is not the founding principle of America the founding principle is : inalienable rights endowed by the Creator whereas in Canada, you only have those rights which the government allows you Section One of the "Charter Rights of Freedoms" negates all your rights, at their whim for all its flaws, America is an idea, an ideal to aspire to while Canada is just a federal government bureaucracy telling you what to do congratulations on "Indigenous Genocide Reconciliation Day" btw apparently that's a "holiday" in Canada tomorrow, for the bureaucrats & bankers the Crown of Canada claims that it has committed mass murder against the Natives to reconcile that, these self proclaimed genocidal maniacs give themselves a paid day off that is Canada in a nutshell

  33. See this is what I was talking about when I mentioned how Hansen likes to parse language to cover up the fact his predictions failed. So what you seem to be saying is because a computer program was used to create the model Rasool used to show how CO2 couldn't prevent the cooling necessary to create an ice age that it wasn't the model but only the program that needs to be mentioned and therefore everything else becomes false. And to that I simply reply, Bullshit.

  34. Why? Who's saying that? As I understand the argument it goes more like Warmageddon most likely isn't coming. There's no real definitive science showing it is. But if crises and catastrophes are coming the better response is the one we've always used. Adaptation. In fact we're better equipped for that right now with fewer consequences than using mitigation with carbon taxes, windmills, solar farms, global governance or whatever other useless manipulation a globalist or Progressive Socialist can come up with.

So I guess that not having wells drilled or pipelines in place or thousands more people working in the industry and dozens of large companies with hundreds of millions of dollars in specialized equipment on the ground isn't the opposite of letting production atrophy. We can just turn off oil production for a few years and then turn it back on at the flick of the switch. Gotcha. Thanks for the "info" genius. You're on a roll. Still goin'. Ho hum. 39. I fully agree that the climate is changing. What I have yet to agree with is the cause. Yes, I am sure man is partially to blame but, historically, there has been severe climate changes in the life of the earth and is this just another cycle (exasperated by mans involvement)? The earth has had at least 6 ice ages and to melt that ice, there had to be dramatic climate change. Begs the question, how did the earth get so cold as to get 1/2 covered in hundreds of feet of ice? I am also upset with many of the climate change proponents that travel the world to prophecize their message. "Al Gore has attained a near-mythical status for his frenzied efforts to propagandize global warming. At the same time, Gore has done little to prove his commitment to the cause in his own life. While Gore encourages people throughout the world to reduce their carbon footprint and make drastic changes to cut energy consumption, Gore’s own home electricity use has hypocritically increased to more than 21 times the national average this past year" Al Gore is not alone. Most of these climate change prophets have gotten very wealthy as a consequence of their campaigning. Change to our lifestyle will come but demeaning people living in relativity affluent societies (primarily the western world) and disregarding the main pollution causing societies is hypocritical d makes many disregard the message..

  40. The problem is that different groups of people on each side of the aisle have their own set of narratives they're trying to push that contain truths and/or subjective perspectives that are diametrically opposed to each other because of the reasons I stated (philosophical morality). So people end up just yelling at each other and telling each other how the other's perspective is not complete or accurate, because they typically are indeed missing something. IMO if you are a progressive or conservative you are at least half full of BS and half full of truth. A lot of people are trying to indoctrinate everyone with their selective truth and agenda. Many people are so caught up in their ideology they don't even realize that's there's another set of truths & perspectives out there, and they call the other side evil. Today's progressives and conservatives are so extreme that they often venture into the realm of unreasonable insanity.

  41. Michael is a typical Liberal who likes to say progressive sounding things that are only partly true because then when he actually lives his life benefitting from all the great aspects of “settler” culture, he can tell himself he’s a good person. Of course his views mostly just reaffirm typical ignorant young activist misconceptions that lack historical context, but they sound flowery so we should all pretend they’re truth and slam they guy who started this threat as Mike did, even though that poster said nothing inaccurate. It’s not about the truth or trying to discern it, it’s about saying progressive sounding stuff no matter whether your life really reflects it or you really believe it, because then you get to call others retrograde and pretend you’re especially noble. It’s actually the main reason we’re lost as a society now and very divided: lack of honest conversation and refusal to question half-truths.

  42. History is one of narratives. A narrative holds a set of truths and perspectives that tell a story, but a story that is incomplete, because it leaves out other facts and perspectives. The left will tell one set of narratives, typically focusing on the bad things the powerful have done and showing the weak to be victims of that power. The right will tell another set of narratives, focusing more on the good things the powerful have done or how the weak have made poor choices that have contributed to their situation etc. For instance: the left will say the rich are greedy, horde their wealth, and take advantage of workers. The right will say the rich create businesses that provide goods/services we all use, create jobs and wealth for society etc. There is truth in both of these perspectives, but the left seems compassionate while the right seem like a-holes. It's easier to seem moral when you're standing up for the weak rather than the powerful. With the indigenous we typically only hear 1 set of narratives. We don't hear how the West brought them medicine and modern healthcare, modern agriculture/nutrition, longer lifespans, tools, literacy etc. We don't as often here that indigenous people pre-Columbus warred, raped, murdered, ensalved, looted, scalped/tortured each other etc at rights far higher than today, or how they had their own violent expansionist empires (Aztec, Incas). Focusing on 1 set of narratives over another is called politics. The guilt for our wrongs is why we focus on 1 set over the other (understandable), while the rest of the truth is inconvenient and therefore downplayed. If you point out other facts/narratives you are silenced and called a racist because these narratives are political & push a certain agenda & policy, which is why you're angry with the OP & want him to leave. It's a conservative's job to tell us what the progressives conveniently leave out, and vice versa. A self-correcting system. Don't fear other facts and narratives Michael, if we listen to them we might find some truth amongst the bullsh!t.
