  1. There is so much cliché in the above it's hard to know where to start. Just to start, in Canada, big business has been on the Liberal bandwagon for decades. For a variety of reasons the Liberals are usually in power and the corporations and rich like to be in with the powerful. Harper didn't have any corporate buddies. And according to the parliamentary budget officer Harper's tax policy helped push down inequality. As for the rest, raising the retirement rate to 67 for CPP was what world economists recommended in light of an aging population. The CD Howe said it would be extremely helpful in keeping the economy moving in an era of an aging population. Trudeau 'taking care of everyone' I translate to "borrowed lots and lots of money". Yes, and now with interest rates rising the debt is going to start eating away at the government's revenues and we'll all suffer for it. But Trudeau will be happily sunning himself down south with the Aga Khan so won't care. Dentistry? No one has problems finding a family dentist. No one has to wait months to see an oral surgeon. Almost everyone has dental benefits from their employer, even those who work at Walmart. Those on welfare and the working poor get basic dental benefits from their municipality or their province. We don't need the federal government coming in and mucking it up.

  4. I think I sympathize with the immigrants, because I myself feel like an immigrant to Canada now Canada has become such a draconian collectivist nanny police state now, threshold totalitarian that I am rendered into a stranger in my own land like I am an immigrant from the past, from a Canada that still prized individual liberty, autonomy & freedom

  7. Think what you like, but an unforeseen result of the 'convoy' is that it showed the rest of the country what a truly weak PM Justin Trudeau is. Convenient-Covid . . . where he snipes his racist, misogynistic, enemy of the country, terrorist bullshit, while not having the balls to address the protestors and try to find a solution to their and the country's problems. Then employs 'The War Measures Act' to make himself look tough in the eyes of the world. Yes, the convoy showed to Canadians and the rest of the world what the brain-dead voting public have done to this country by electing this clown . . . . not just once, but ?

  13. I would say the Canadian healthcare system is collapsing for a wholly Canadian made reason Canada is the only country which makes any private healthcare illegal other similar countries, Britain, Australia, and throughout Europe allow a mix of public & private healthcare the widespread shortages in Canada are due to a Canadian insistence on having an utterly Socialist healthcare system

  15. Liberal-NDP heathen ideology also supports and encourages in fact women to get abortions. This is costing Canada about 80,000 to 100,000 lives a year. The liberal-NDP ideology of feminism also means women are encouraged to seek careers and go out to work ($10 a day childcare the latest social program) to further destroy the family structure and reduce Canadians from having families. This means far fewer children being born in Canada especially from Caucasian women. The aboriginal birth rate is even ahead of non aboriginals now. Smaller families means more immigration is required to maintain the number of people entering the work force. Liberals-NDP naturally turn to the third world for immigrants because they are the ones most likely to vote left wing liberals or NDP. They don't want immigrants from western nations because they are less likely to vote liberal and are more likely to be conservative (and maybe white supremacists). Immigration is the only way to fill the labour shortage as more and more Canadians are aging and retiring. The social programs and old age pensions, CPP, etc. must be paid for somehow.

  17. I don't think Canadians are racist, but there is a rising nativist streak I don't subscribe to it tho as it has incited Canada to commit two of its most ignominious acts refusal to allow the Jews to flee here from Nazi Germany Internment of the Japanese Canadians but the way Trudeau is pitting Canadians against each other, he is simply throwing gasoline on a fire

  22. it's the native born Canadians who are tearing the history & culture of Canada down it's not the immigrants who are saying Canada is "white supremacy" having committed "genocide" it's upper middle class white people who are seized with an hysterical need to raze Canada to the ground

  24. Did I mention Trump? All he has to do with this, is that he's a living example of the lop-sided legal system. There are several people in that position. Now...although "revenge" is typically frowned upon...I admit I want to see a choice number of Libbies utterly destroyed in public view, once the tides of power switch.

  31. the government can't admit they were wrong because seizing protesters bank accounts without court order is a criminal offence there is nothing which empowers the government to do that, not even the Emergencies Act which hadn't even been passed at the time the government engaged in a conspiracy with the banks to rob people's bank accounts and the government did so by simply intimidating the bankers into doing it that's literally bank robbery

  35. In 1492 there was no international law, no UN, no Geneva Conventions, and state sovereignty (borders) weren't even recognized among European countries until 1648. It was an all-out war of all against all, everyone trying to expand territory so a rival country wouldn't become more rich and powerful and conquer them. The indigenous did it amongst themselves pre-Columbus. It was a brutal worldwide situation of warfare and survival and it slowed down after WWII, empires decolonized rapidly, international law was implemented, the UN created. This is Hobbes' "state of nature" on an international scale. And it still exists (no global government) except there's no more territory to expand, and borders are more or less settled for the most part, so peace is more common, but civil war is still common. I don't feel guilty for the British/Canada being stronger than others, because if Africa or indigenous had invented guns and ocean-faring ships etc before Europe they would have done the exact same thing. Those societies were horribly brutal also, and West Africans took war prisoners amongst other African tribes to sell as slaves to Europeans. You have to read history books to learn this stuff, they won't tell you on TV. However, we should have known better about residential schools etc., there's no excuse for that cruelty.

  36. History is one of narratives. A narrative holds a set of truths and perspectives that tell a story, but a story that is incomplete, because it leaves out other facts and perspectives. The left will tell one set of narratives, typically focusing on the bad things the powerful have done and showing the weak to be victims of that power. The right will tell another set of narratives, focusing more on the good things the powerful have done or how the weak have made poor choices that have contributed to their situation etc. For instance: the left will say the rich are greedy, horde their wealth, and take advantage of workers. The right will say the rich create businesses that provide goods/services we all use, create jobs and wealth for society etc. There is truth in both of these perspectives, but the left seems compassionate while the right seem like a-holes. It's easier to seem moral when you're standing up for the weak rather than the powerful. With the indigenous we typically only hear 1 set of narratives. We don't hear how the West brought them medicine and modern healthcare, modern agriculture/nutrition, longer lifespans, tools, literacy etc. We don't as often here that indigenous people pre-Columbus warred, raped, murdered, ensalved, looted, scalped/tortured each other etc at rights far higher than today, or how they had their own violent expansionist empires (Aztec, Incas). Focusing on 1 set of narratives over another is called politics. The guilt for our wrongs is why we focus on 1 set over the other (understandable), while the rest of the truth is inconvenient and therefore downplayed. If you point out other facts/narratives you are silenced and called a racist because these narratives are political & push a certain agenda & policy, which is why you're angry with the OP & want him to leave. It's a conservative's job to tell us what the progressives conveniently leave out, and vice versa. A self-correcting system. Don't fear other facts and narratives Michael, if we listen to them we might find some truth amongst the bullsh!t.

  39. The problem with news organizations is they are increasingly populated by woke activists that believe they are on a crusade to save the planet. So too often their product is biased woke propaganda. People get addicted to this toxic corrupt product that at its worst is distorting reality. I watch very little news from main stream sources, ditto with newspapers, and I grew up delivering papers. I loved the news and trusted it completely.

That they are to lazy to change it or challenge it, or it is not delusional to identify as a cat, or jet fighter, or the one of the other million genders, so much that they are teaching young children this in classrooms, and have incorporated into our laws without any science to back it up.. or does science only count in climate change.

  43. Trudeau has done what he planned to do.. royally f up the economy. Now, predictably, he's over at the UN talking about "food security" as his globalist buddies create an avoidable crisis thru reduction of fertilizers. He'll then pay some leftist flunkies to do a report on "climate change" and push it through the media he bribes off. Sick folks ?

Thereafter, given the POTawa bedwetting silliness, I declare I will stand on any public corner in CanaDUH and freely SAY anything I wish at my leisure for as long as I so choose. The parole and holding terms more befit China, North Korea or Russia. Get Alberta Out.
