Not sure what all the fuss is about regarding this speech. Carney takes some thinly veiled jabs at Trump and the US and of course most people love that. Brian Lilley of The Sun makes a great point about that aspect of Carney's speech. "Much of his speech was about the great power rivalry that is happening between the US, China and Russia. The problem is that he was highly critical in the Americans walking away from the international rules-based order while not acknowledging that China and Russia walked away from it years if not decades ago." And now, Mark Carney is cozying up up to China, which of course gets a pass when it comes to it's dismal human rights record.
