  1. What does plastic parts have to do with being electric? That's like saying the door handle broke on my EV or the cup holder is too small so all EV's suck. Buy a better quality one.

  2. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/sabrina-maddeaux-im-running-for-the-conservatives-because-trudeau-abandoned-my-generation For these reasons, I’m taking a leave from my regular columns at the National Post and running to be the next federal Conservative candidate for Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill. I want to do whatever I can to build Canada back to a place where every generation is better off than the last. The next election is a critical opportunity to do that before the downward spiral Trudeau’s Liberals thrust us into swallows the country whole. Well that was a shocker. That should prove to be interesting, she's a talented, popular, successful journalist as well as a female, she checks an awful lot of boxes that the mushy middle voters will like, and she'll bring a lot of media contacts to the party. I now await the screaming from the left about how she's actually a racist deplorable sub human. Followed by some commentary about how we need more women in politics (just not her kind)

  3. This is absolutely the reason. Trump has been a shady businessman all his life - if you want to even call him a businessman. He's more of a grifter and huckster. His son openly said the only thing that saved the company after their bankruptcy was money from Russia and other eastern oligarchs. And if that meant money laundering or helping them dodge sanctions Trump would not have hesitated as long as he figured he could get away with it. The man has no moral compass, after all. But now that information would have been given to Putin. And he would have been made aware of his need to please Putin or the information would get leaked. And money laundering and sanctions busting are crimes ordinary Americans understand way more than most of his current legal difficulties. And both are severely punished. With jail time, not fines. And not just for him but for his kids, who were also involved.

  4. For F’s sake, “it’s not time for immigration reform” is what the man who said no bills pass until he gets immigration reform. The Republican strategy is to cause an immigration crisis which they can blame on Biden. And all they do is refuse to pass any immigration legislation ever, claiming that whatever it is isn’t extreme enough. So they let the crisis get worse, claiming “only we can fix this problem we created!”

  6. The mindless crowd led by the pipe of a pathologically lying buffoon will likely not notice another interesting coincidence: the infamous dictator Vlad Putin never participated in the election debates. He sets himself way above that level. He doesn't need to formulate and defend ideas and policies, only profess coined truths of the day. The other, "common candidates" just play a warm-up troupe, cheerleading show for the default and unquestionable guru. OK. If formerly proud democratic party decided to reduce itself to this pathetically ridiculous level so be it. The choice is theirs, conscious and free. Important to know and remember though: one does not have to accept it. Accepting the insane is a choice, not a given. There is no obligation to join in. You have a choice. Kudos to Nikki for remembering, and reminding this simple, but important truth. You don't have to play a liar and bully's game and into their hands. You can call it. This is principle, reason and courage. The only example, as it seems, in the whole slew. Update: the debate was cancelled by the network. Well done, Nikki. This is the only way to deal with a pathological liar who is allergic to a single word of truth and relies on his mindless mob to do the work for him. You cannot give a bully their wish, they'll just come back for more. The Republican party may very well be taking the path of collective insanity, consciously and deliberately turning off their integrity and principles, critical minds and objective perception of the reality. But, it's your choice still; you don't have to. With time, they may come to understand the colossal failure of their judgement. There will be no excuses. Consciousness is not a free gift, but a privilege and responsibility. Dereliction, failure of it: only a choice.

This one social program cost billions to maintain, but is it producing the results the left thought it would, well according to most private operators in the child day dare industry are saying it is a big failure, and may need a lot of tweaking before it becomes sustainable for private operators or....pump billions more into the program and turn private operators into government offices with federal employees... 11. We have My wife has, lol, an F-150 Lightning now, got it mid-November, and nominally it has a 550km range, but at -1 degree and a full charge it's closer to 460. I'm not sure how accurate that range thing is because when the battery is lower, like 60% at 7 degrees, it says that it has 190km range or some such, which makes it seem like the max range is less than 380km?? I don't know what it would get in Alberta at -40 right now, but it's probably not a lot. 1. The battery is colder, and 2. heating the cabin takes more energy. My car is a Passat diesel and I get 900km/tank, and I can crank the heat as high as I want. I gas it up and forget about it for the better part of a month. It's awesome. I LOVE that car. We're always babying the truck to make sure we can use it. I'll say this about the truck though, it sails. Quiet, ultra-smooth power, smooth ride, accelerates like a bat outta hell. It's great for passing, because my wife is usually reading something and she only looks up when I step on the gas, but she doesn't notice in the truck. In my car she looks up every time and I hear "OMG why are you passing again!"

  12. Most people live in condos these days in places where ev's are practical at all and it is really a problem to get a charger. Most buildings and townhomes are not able to provide a charger for even half the stalls so they're just now trying to figure out how to deal with that. Newer buildings have SOME chargers in them or a communal post but that's it. So as long as there's only a few people it's not SO bad but no - "most" people would not be able to charge at home if a high percentage of owners had ev's, nor could the grid take it if you did put chargers in every home without billions in upgrades. Not to mention bc sask and alberta just barely got by sharing power this last winter storm... add 10 thousand more EV's and see how that works out.

He knows who is audience is and the sorts of things they're feeling and talking about, so he goes and pretends to lead them from the front of the pack by packaging it into some pseudo-intellectual gobbledygook.

  17. Toyota makes the world’s most reliable cars. The data from CR don’t tell us anything. I work on cars. I’ve restored a few. A “failure” can mean anything. Loose knob. Trunk won’t open. Or it can mean “car will not operate.” CR doesn’t distinguish between the two. An all-electric car which is well engineered will be a LOT more reliable than a gas powered car, because the EV has far fewer parts.

  19. No, they've already explained it. You said he has 7.5 million followers/subscribers, and that should tell us something. What exactly, is unclear, but if it does than the fact that Barack Obama, or Taylor Swift have +100M and would disagree with everything Jordan Peterson has to say, that should tell you something as well. Like that, and like vaccines, Russian and Ukrainian geo-politics, animal biology, economics etc... The majority of his time now is spent bullshitting about things he doesn't know anything about or have any training for, and on which he's no more knowledgeable than the average rube that follows him.

Slapping black face on this one is a cheap promotional stunt which apparently no one bought into. Plus the black mermaid went around all the media outlets mocking the original story. It wasn't just the black face it was all the other woke BS they put into it. She was just the tip of the iceberg.

There is no demonstration of popularity. You are very confused. And no, I don't believe he will. America is politically ill, but even then I don't think the country is actually going to elect a man who tried to stage a coup.

  32. LMAO In your dreams Putin puppet! Its half a million casualties (not deaths)on BOTH SIDES COMBINED with Russian casualties being far greater, more than 300,000 As much as you try to pretend that self-defence is not a valid reason for violence nobody believes you and we know you’re full of shit as you seem to support Israel’s military action against Putin’s ally Hamas. Meanwhile Putin is forcing Ukrainians in occupied Ukraine to fight for Russia, yet another war crime, and arresting and interrogating Ukrainians on the whereabouts of Ukrainian men who have avoided his impressment gangs. That’s on top of emptying his prisons for his army.

  33. Well people who don't like the same things they don't like can be lulled into thinking that this is for everyone's own good. I've posted that equity game vid a few times where the SJW says "i don't like this" and the guy says "well if you don't like it just don't do it" and she says "But if I don't like it NOBODY should..." that's how they think. I"m right your'e wrong and if you don't realize that i should take your choice away for your own good. 37. We have no evidence, or maybe i should say, plenty of evidence to show that the Covid vaccine did not work at all. What proof is there that the covid vaccines worked at all? There is none. But the conspiracy by the big pharma globalists was that they were telling us all that the covid vaccine did work. As far as i am concerned, Covid 19 was a conspiracy and the vaccine was not to help fight the so called Covid virus, but had more to do with the pushing of their poisonous and experimental Covid vaccines, that we are being told today, have injured and killed millions of people around the world. Again, you are totally clueless, when you obviously try to deny that covid was part of a conspiracy of lies when the truth about Covid is coming out and it does not look so good for the Covid lie. But hey, believe what you want to believe and so will i. Bye-bye. 😁

  42. Only cause your echo chamber says the sky is falling. There’s no objective evidence of it, nor proof that your side would be doing better. 44. Thousands of pro Palestinian/Hamas protesters gathered in New York to protest against... a cancer treatment center that they say is 'complicit in genocide'... Let that sink in for a minute. Why would so many people target a cancer treatment center? Because a Jewish billionaire donated $400m to them. And this Jewish billionaire had earlier denounced the antisemitic statements from some Harvard student associations and vowed not to hire anyone from them. Therefore, the cancer treatment center is 'complicit in genocide'. That's as nutty as our local anti-semites on this site and their illogical and laughably inept denunciations of Israel and 'zionism', which they piously insist has nothing to do with Jews. Now, regardless of what you think of the Palestinian/Israeli issue this probably strikes you as batshit crazy. So how do you get thousands of people to protest there unless someone is paying them? https://nationalpost.com/news/pro-palestinian-protesters-new-york-cancer-centres?utm_source=ground.news&utm_medium=referral

  46. The decline of Western democracies are a result of losing our moral high-ground. Losing the moral high-ground didn’t happen because of liberals. It happened because we don’t live up to the ideals we set. It started in Vietnam and continued in Iraq. If you don’t live by your own ethical standards, what have you got to oppose those who are even worse?

Plus North Korea and China, in the background. This is the reality, the facts by the way: not some eternal abstract wisdom. The future is all but assured and guaranteed now. Why bother to shift wise and hard-working ar*es.
