I think you might be on to something there. However, the outcome would be poor for both the Liberals and the NDP. People are already very sick and tired of Singh's support of Trudeau, and are even more fed up with the current level of taxation and the economy in general. People want more autonomy where their money is concerned. It seems to be a universal shift toward conservatism. Look, for instance, at the newest governments of Europe.3 points

Those raw Russian conscripts aren’t going to have a jolly time in the winter either, especially given Russian supply and logistics problems. Wearing a second-hand winter coat that still has the bloodstains and bullet holes from the conscript who had it a few days before you probably won’t be great for esprit de corps2 points

Trump was an AWESOME POTUS. Superb. Magnificent. God sent. The media will not tell you the truth about him because he wanted to stop their corruption. So they have used every illegal and immoral tactic short of assassination, (eek!) to destroy him.2 points
-
What will it do to the USA? It’s a good question. It really makes you wonder who would want to be president, or rather who COULD be president. Could it lead to a conflict between government and the courts, stalemating government from taking effective action, rendering it completely useless. oh wait that sounds like now already2 points
-
Lol. Leftists are impervious to facts. If you want them to love Trump you have to get CNN to put a smiley beside his photo. His approval rating would go up by 20%.2 points
-
I’m sure you hate him. He produces facts which prove that your bullshit is all lies. And you hate that, because you can’t find facts to disprove the truth. You can call the man a liar but you cannot disprove what he says, because truth is truth.2 points

All I know is that there is no shortage of dentists in this country. No one has trouble getting a family dentist. No one has trouble getting an appointment. If you need dental surgery it happens pretty quickly and efficiently. Compare that to the rest of the healthcare system. Most people have dental care benefits from their employer. Those on welfare or the poor generally get basic dental care from their province or municipality. We don't need the federal government doing to dental care what they did to healthcare.2 points

Evan Solomon is moving on to other pastures. For the past few years he has been insidiously pumping the federal Liberal party, by taking any public issues, and explaining away that whatever the Liberals are doing , if the best that can be achieved in the circumstances. At the same time he seizes with relish upon even the slightest radical pronouncement of any socially Conservative backbencher and trumpets into a) it must be party policy and representative of all. Or b) how outrageous it is that the party leader doesn't immediately throw them out of the party. Sick and tired of this Liberal shill. In case you don't know the dribble that he spouts over the airwaves (iheart / Bell talk radio network) in Toronto 9 - 11 am. is pumped out at Noon in BC. and we can't even phone it because it's not live any more. Thank goodness this JT fanboy is gone !1 point

Republicans have been in a sad and ugly place for the last 12 years or so, and it lead to Trump and Trumpism. Finding Trump and the current Republican party revolting is not the same as hating America or Americans. Friends should tell each other when the spot a bit of mustard on the other's face. And for 4 ugly years our entire heads were covered in mustard. And it's not just Canada. That's the sentiment with allies around the world.1 point

For future reference, all of the words that you quoted need to be done within the quote feature. It's the 6th icon from the left on the toolbar at the top of your "new post" window. Also, you're supposed to just quote snippets, and use some of your own dialogue to get the convo started. Just trying to save you a mod visit.1 point

Yeah, I know. I saw what you did there. You did that Proggy thing where you take a legitimate point from the other side and try to apply it for your side. But it never quite fits. But yes, when the Biden Democrats started printing massive increases of American dollars to pay for their pork ridden trillion dollar Bills passed under their watch dollars were worth less. Add to that the increase in the price of gas inflating the price of everything and you have massive inflation.1 point

The worse handling of the Chinese Virus happened in Democrat states like New York and Michigan. The best in Republican states like Florida and South Dakota.1 point

Only a Progressive would try to sell us on the idea that too much success causes inflation. As to Trump's handling of the pandemic if Biden thought the worse part of that (lockdowns, Fauci and the vaccine) worked he shouldn't have tried to take ownership of them and doubled down when he took power. Trump was battling an unknown enemy with what seemed best at the time. Biden adopted the failed experiments and tried to sell them as successes.1 point
-
LMAO. In Trump's 4 years he EXPLODED the debt with huge tax cuts. Smart people know that Trump's HUGE deficit spending STIMULUS while the economy was booming, greatly increased the MONEY SUPPLY which CAUSED inflation. Of course that was BEFORE Trump's incompetent and dishonest handling of the pandemic put a damper on the economy (millions of jobs lost) and the money supply.1 point

These blathering Putin-invasion supporters like @Nationalist and @DogOnPorchare desperately trying any argument they can think of, throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks. Pretending to be pacifists is just their latest most desperate schtick, like we haven’t been reading their Pro-Putin nonsense and Kremlin copy-paste for over 7 months now. Their latest idiotic argument attempt, that you’re not allowed to denounce illegal invasions and massacres of civilians and support those who defend against it unless you’re willing to fight on the front, is like saying you’re not allowed to speak out against crime unless you’re willing to become a policeman.1 point

I don't put much faith in polls, but i thought this one was interesting as most center Conservatives, and members of the left where adamant PP was not the man for the job, it seems people are changing their minds... In Just 10 days Justin has slipped to second place now lagging behind PP. Justins liberals are facing a huge problem in today's numbers in many areas, a lot can change in the years to come before election, just curious on what liberals are thinking. Good post and insight . . . . but, I think this will be the demise of Jagmeet Singh, and the Federal NDP. There's just no difference between the Liberals and Singh's party now, and many NDP voters are dealing with the consequences of the one-track policy (climate change) of Justin Trudeau . . . death of the petroleum industry, lack of investor confidence in Canada, food/fertilizer cut-backs, devalued $$, the list is long, and Jagmeet Singh is instrumental in the implementation of such.1 point

If the Russian army is so big and well equipped, why is it getting its ass kicked? It isn't 1942, Russians are not fighting on their own soil for their own survival, Ukraine is. The ammo will last as long as the west keeps supplying it and they keep capturing Russian stocks. Russia also won't be able to to use human wave attacks, people won't stand for it, hence lines miles long to leave the country and major protests. Russia has its own refugee problem, military age males fleeing Russia. History tells us the Russian monarchy was toppled when the army finally turned on the Czar during a poorly conducted war that was going badly. Ring a bell?1 point

The problem with myata is he/she starts somewhere, get denounced, gets educated by others and wanders off to somewhere else (often to diss a ceo) then disregards those that do have valid information and try to educate him/her. Then blames others for her /his lack of education and reality Oh, that is what you meant LOL1 point

This is a sad example of the extremist idealism of many young people in schools and outside schools. They have not been taught a realistic view of the world and our own province. Some kind of false religion I would call mother earthism prevails in their mind. Once their mind gets to that point, there is no amount of reasoning with them that will convince them of reality. That is why we have the Greta Thunbergs and their massive followings by younger people. Perhaps some will change their mind as they grow older and learn how the real world operates. Others will cling to their radical ideas and oppose things which most of the world realize are essential and normal, like the energy oil and gas industry, forestry, etc. The problem arises when enough of these extremists get into positions of power such as in the Trudeau government where Trudeau actually appointed an environmental extremist who climbed buildings or towers for Greenpeace. This is the danger. This is costing Canada billions in losses by the destruction of the oil and gas industry. And costing Canadians billions of dollars with carbon taxes and radical environmental regulations. This lowers the standard of living of all Canadians as we are now paying about $2.25 per litre for gas in B.C., the highest price in north America. We should have had more refineries and pipelines in B.C. long ago. The demand is there but the supply is not.1 point

Canada is an awesome jewel that many of us would prefer remain noted as an unhospitable ice-pack. But as it has down there, too many Canucks have jumped on the woke wagon of hatred and stupidity. And like down there, many of us are waking up from this woke horse shite and realizing the mistakes they've made. As for Donny-Boy...I wasn't a fan until I realized this odd fellow was not gonna play ball with the globalists. He truly worked for America. Hopefully our new Conservative leader will fit that bill as well. MAGA and MCGA!1 point

PEOPLE! I think the lesson here is, Pixie-Dust is such an abject failure that even a mundane trip with his kid becomes a reason for scorn. I mean really now...nobody "likes" Trudeau. "American voters" voted for Hillary by 3M votes in 2016. Only the EC with the illegal help from Russians, voted for Trump. So yeah, Putin "paroled" Trump, so Trump would help Putin out and Trump hoped to get a big tower built in Moscow out of the deal. That is why he LIED about having no business dealings with Russia during the campaign. As if negotiating an RE deal is not "business dealings." ?1 point

But those who love America will always fight for freedom and you will do what you wish and we might like you or love you or hate you. But America is in big trouble and if we Republicans and Conservatives and patriots of ALL STRIPE dont take back BOTH HOUSES in the election, some 33 days from now, you might thereafter REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hate America!!! ?1 point

Trump hasn't built a skyscraper in decades. More recently he just sells his name to actual builders. But the market for that has mostly dried up. Trump usually cheats and goes bankrupt. Recently he made money by PLAYING a manager on TV and conning political donors. He usually loses that money by losing lawsuits like Trump U and his pretend charitable foundation. "I love the poorly educated" Donald Trump We know what kind you are. How much does Putin pay for partisan hacks?1 point
-
Again, where’s the lawsuit. Donald threatened to sue to Lincoln Project, and they begged him to sue them. You think he will win a dime against CNN? He’ll drop the suit before discovery. The suit alleges that Trump was defamed because they interviewed singer Linda Ronstadt, who compared his rule to Nazi Germany during the interview. So? She is a celebrity. They interviewed her. That’s what she thinks. As with Trump’s other stupid lawsuits, this one will likely be thrown out once CNN files a motion to dismiss. If it’s not dismissed, CNN will kick the snot out of him in discovery. They will bury his ass in document requests which will need to prove that each allegation is true.1 point

The swollen ego is looking back at the thousands (or more) mythologies that mankind has invented to explain a poorly understood world, and thinking that you, personally, have been blessed by being born into the one true faith. You have been told the right stories, but everyone else in human history outside of your sect has been told the wrong stories. Must be nice. No wonder you feel so comfortable ignoring science. Rather, it takes a great deal of humility to admit that there are many answers we don't have and aspire to someday understand more fully. "I don't know, yet" is always a greater and more honest answer than "goddidit."1 point
