  1. Over the past couple years you've heard politicians from all over use the platform "Build Back Better". You've heard this platform from Boris Johnson in Britain, Sleepy Joe Biden in the United States, Trudeau in Canada, New Zealand, the United Nations and other places. What exactly are we building? A society where you cant leave your homes past 10pm like in Quebec? Where you can't sit in a restaurant without injecting a foreign substance into your arm or access public transit or hold a job. Seems like a marriage between government and corporations where if you don't go along with the flavor of the day whether it be the climate change hoax, BLM, face rags, etc. you can't stay employed. What's next? Losing ability to use banks if you don't pledge your allegiance to the wokesters?

  2. That's right. Why do you think that is? There was a 17 yr old boy in Canada here who died within days of the vax, which he only got in order to play hockey with his team. Bet you never heard of him either. In spite of his dad being pretty damn vocal about his son's death. But no TV channel will carry the story. Why do you think that is?

  3. There is not one word in that which can be evidenced or supported. It was produced by religious movement for profit etc. Truth never sold a movie. It's absurd to think in the 21 century we are to believe a movie can vindicate something that supposed to have happened 2000 years ago.

  7. Except I did not mean private corporations, it's clear that they cannot and won't be able to operate on this kind of timeframes. It's about our public officials who seem to be no less, actually more excited and eager than any of their business peers. How did this happen? Which brings a question: it's a standard practice for a while now to state potential conflict of interest in publications. But what about our public officials, figures and experts we hear and see in the media trying to influence our behavior and opinions? Do they have any such obligations can't help wondering.

  8. Indeed, it can become quite complex. I would argue the opposite(in agreement), it is the duty of the individual to question the dominant views or government agendas for the sake of the collective. The issue with dominant views or government agendas is they do not necessarily reflect the collective, instead they reflect the individuals who hold the power to introduce those agendas.

  9. Well, it's a relatively new term and as such the concrete definition has yet to establish itself. I'm not opposed to Myata's definition where it's a pretense of science without any actual science but I think the Urban Dictionary's attempt describes what people think of when they hear the term better: By either definition though "Faucism" is not science. That's a constant and I believe that was the main point of the OP.

  10. Yes exactly. We must first draw a line at when we can and can not violate the rights of an individual. Even ignoring Covid, crossing of that line requires tedious work, evidence and analysis by multiple parties for criminal/mental issues. Yes, as an individual who is part of a collective, there is a duty to carry out actions that are for the benefit of the collective, but there also is a duty for the collective to uphold the rights of the individual.

  11. So where will the CBC and by extension Trudeau get their marching orders on what to report and do from now on? Without CNN who's in control of what millions upon millions of people think? Baaaaaa!?

  12. Yes agree with your analysis. There's a certain scam element to covid. Walmart and Amazon making billions while small businesses are mandated to close. Pushing the cloth face rags which made companies money knowing they were ineffective. Vaccine mandates to people with very little risk of hospitalization @ $22 a dose with false advertising about how this would not allow you to transmit covid. And others

  13. They're just like the rest of america's deregulated monopolized corporate state media machine. See Edward L Bernays. There's a flavor and package of lies for every mindfucked divisive demographic we can point at another. But no. One cannot boast about high ratings and then claim to be not of the dreaded "MSM". That's a sloganeered Pavlovianly conditioned trigger term for the shallow and perpetually anxious.

  14. Scam, yeah, but just by techies trying to make a quick buck off the paranoia. Relatively minor. This is #1. Getting involved in Iraq the second time was a huge scam. The gov't knew that there were no wmds before they attacked I personally agree with Trump's assessment that we need to just stay out of there and let them do their thing. This is a close 2nd. The Democrat nominee and the FBI committed crimes and ran a show trial against a sitting president, aided by thousands of blatant lies over 4 years by the MSM and ranking Dems. This is one of those things that you could never write a fictional novel about because it's so bizarre that no one would believe that any of it could happen. The FBI lost all credibility but the Dems never really had any. Covid isn't a scam itsel, but the amount of lies about covid and the depth of the coverup is alarming. People were vilified for telling obvious truths about the origin of covid, and coronavirus was just wielded like a political weapon by dishonest politicians all around the world in a massive power grab. The silver lining is that our own PM was outed as a bigot.

  17. I found this poll. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5a17333eb0786935ac112523/t/61e77919672c5a0fc0148e8b/1642559771161/Unvaccinated+Factum+19+02+22.pdf It represents 1506 individual opinions with weighting "The results have been weighted by education, age, gender, and region (and in Quebec, language) to match the population according to Census data which ensures the sample is representative of the entire adult population of Canada." Meaning you have a higher subset of older generation and university graduates. Overall I can agree with you Myata, but bringing up the Covid virus is a distraction it has nothing to do with the issues we are commenting on. Freedom of speech, individual rights and distribution of wealth have little to do with Covid virus itself. (off topic)

  20. In fact the bible was written about 60 years after the death of Christ. There was no God as you know it for 1500 years before Christ nor did anyone witness any power of God. That is a complete myth as there has never been a God evidenced since the beginning of time. That's a fact unless you are the only one with evidence to contradict that.

  27. I'm neither here nor there on the docs and their research. Dr. Byram Briddle is worried about a rise in cancer remission after the jab. I guess time will tell if he's right or not though I would suspect you wouldn't get the truth even if it were true. As for Dr. McCullough and his research on hydroxichlroquin.. I guess about 900k died in the US because of lack of early treatment. At least he was trying to do something about that number. The thing with Ivermectin and Hyrdoxichloroquin was that they believe it was effective as early treatment. Any studies "refuting" this were done on patients already sick enough to be in the hospital which is ridiculous. Then they were called conspiracy theorists for suggesting these may be early treatments because they didn't complete a study which would've taken 3-5 years to complete (when Covid was only discovered like 6 months earlier). No doubt these studies weren't done ?. Meanwhile a few hundred thousand died while Fauci screamed about studies ?

  30. ^ All the stable boys in the world couldn’t clean up that amount of absolute horseshit. Your typical Republican supporter just a mindless cult follower who unquestionably swallows and repeats blatantly obvious lies, gross exaggerations, false equivalencies….falsehoods of every shape and dimension, partnered with ridiculous ad absurdum arguments and every self-contradicting logical error ever documented. And there’s not much more you can really say about the liars and suckers behind THE BIG LIE. Some know its bullshit but are willing to lie and end democracy to win. But most are just suckers who will never ever question what “their side” tells them to believe

  34. I can't recall if I posted this before but what the hell. HBO released a documentary in 2020 prior to the November election about the security or lack thereof in the election. It's kind of funny in that the Dems claimed the 2016 election was stolen, Trump was an illegitimate president etc. Then Biden wins in 2020 due in no small part to huge numbers of mail in ballots which strangely didn't translate into gains in the House. Now the Dems say there can be no question whatsoever about the legitimacy of 2020 election results, because the system is infallible. I bet HBO wishes they didn't release this before the 2020 election. It was a pretty interesting documentary.

  35. Of course. The Dems are obviously superior in every way to Republicans and are capable of pulling this off. They are clever enough to manipulate the ballots so that they actually lose seats in the House and Senate. This is to further pull the wool over the unsuspecting Republicans' eyes. The Dems also invented the whole QAnon conspiracy so that when Republicans complain and tell us the truth of what happened, they just appear to be parroting a wingnut conspiracy generated by a crazed pillow guy, thereby discrediting themselves. Also, despite all the evidence against them, they managed to make it all disappear into the ether. (See "superior in every way" above.)

  38. That's not true. That was Pearl Harbor and 9/11 reenacted before our eyes. She agrees with me. What a courageous woman, she survived something comparable to those tragic historical events. Courageous is not a word I use lightly, only to exceptional people who demonstrate something that likens to this kind of perseverance through tough challenges life may give us. We may all remember January 6 of 2021. It reminds me of Hillary Clinton who was almost shot when going to Bosnia in the 1990s. Very brave.

  39. If we are to give reality to Jesus, based on the bible, then a reader must give reality to the talking serpents and donkey. Few Christians believe that B.S., so why a double standard for belief in Jesus? As myth and allegory, the bible is fantastic. As reality, the bible is garbage with good moral lessons as well as a really evil God. Regards DL

  41. You just answered your own question! This is how LA was ripped apart by black vs latino violence three decades ago, and the same thing happened in many other cities, because too many people just look for a scapegoat when they want vengeance. If they were thinking, they would understand that the reason for their loss of bottom level low wage jobs wasn't under the control of desperate migrants looking for a way out of even worse violence, deprivation and misery in the countries where they come from....the US/CIA backed despotic regimes in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador in particular! A tiny group of white kleptocrats have free reign to ruthlessly oppress the majority of people in their countries and are satisfied by skimming a small share of the profits extracted by foreign mining and agribusiness operations that are allowed to plunder their resources. Left with no means to effectively fight back against oppression, most young people look to escape, and even taking dangerous, below minimum wage jobs in the worst parts of America is better than remaining and getting stopped by a death squad or narco gang in El Salvador or Honduras.....thanks again Hillary for that last one!

  42. I know the Trump nuts won't believe anyone, not Bill Barr, not Mitch Romney, not the FBI or the Republican secretaries of state and governors who say there was no fraud. Nor will they believe Trump was in any way responsible for the riots. But not everyone seems to be buying that line or keeping quiet about their disagreement any more. “The mob was fed lies,” McConnell told the chamber, which two weeks earlier had been evacuated as rioters invaded the building. “They were provoked by the president and other powerful people.” Shocker! Mitch McConnell himself! The dreaded, Democrat hating arch conservative Republican! I guess he's now a RINO too, or a Marxist or something. Trump provoked Capitol riot, Mitch McConnell says (cnbc.com)

  43. Don't give those crazy in the head spend crazy politicians about trying to create another new licence like the need of a licence to be able to buy alcohol. If there is one thing our dear leaders like to do is to raise taxes or try and create new ones. Anyway, we kind of have a licence to drink booze already. It's called taxes. Half the price on booze is taxes. Think what will happen if some heavy booze drinker cannot get his/her hands on a bottle of booze? It might work out better for some of them, but then it could end up working not so well for others. Anyway, what we the taxpaying buffoons do not need is to have the need to have a licence to buy alcohol. Can you imagine the size of this new bureaucracy? Billions of tax dollars being blown every year on paying a bunch of useless government morons who will be paid a good salary, good benefits, and a good pension all at taxpayer's tax dollars expense. I want less government, not more.
