  1. Like Caligula who ordered his soldiers to attack the ocean by throwing spears into the water and collecting seashells as trophies. At least he had the excuse of being an inbred psychotic monster. Oh, wait...

  2. Yes, I know some of you hate Peterson. But he was willing to read Carney's book and give us quotes, and I doubt any of the rest of you will. Carney isn't just a shallow imitator like Trudeau. He's the real deal. A climate change fanatic willing to do whatever it takes to bring down CO2 emissions in Canada, regardless of how much that hurts - other people. “Our goal has been to put in place the information, tools and markets so that every financial decision takes climate change into account — to create a financial system in which a company’s contributions to climate change and climate solution are fundamental determinants of its value. So that value reflects values. At COP26 in Glasgow, we delivered twenty-four major reforms to transform the information, tools and markets at the heart of finance. These include climate stress testing, net-zero transition plans and clear, comparable and decision-useful climate disclosure so that financial markets can manage risks and seize opportunities in the climate transition.” Consider Carney’s very words, camouflaged in the moral claims that invariably accompany all such far-reaching and bone-chilling pronouncements: “Firms that align their business models with the transition to a net-zero carbon economy will be rewarded handsomely; those that fail to adapt will cease to exist.” https://nationalpost.com/opinion/jordan-peterson-mark-carney-doesnt-value-a-prosperous-canada https://archive.is/Bp8xO

  4. I don't think Canada should negotiate with Trump at all, Canada should just put export duties on Canadian energy, while letting Trump's tariffs do the damage on top, don't even speak to Washington, stop lobbying them, just ignore them, start negotiating with the Chinese instead, learn to play hardball; America's game right back at them

  5. I received a letter from Ana Poilievre asking for support. Her "husband, Pierre Poilievre, is ready to lead Conservatives to victory and implement his Canada First Plan, including a MASSIVE tax cut, scrapping Liberal anti-resource laws, greenlighting pipelines, rebuilding our military, and restoring the promise of our great country." This is something you should seriously support. "Please help to rescue our country from the failed globalist, borderless, post-national, and radical Liberal experiments that broke Canada." All the existing liberal MPs and cabinet supported Trudeau's failed policies that left Canada in a wreck. Carney is no different than the rest of the liberals who did this to Canada. Please help us get out of this mess. Go to the Conservatives website now and give your support to help win the next election. Conservative Party of Canada

  6. Canadian Liberal Party leader candidate Chrystia Freeland suggested during a recent leadership debate with her rivals that Canada could seek nuclear security from Britain and France in the face of growing American threats. This raises the question as to whether it is time for her to step down from politics. That kind of talk puts Canada in danger with our neighbours. Very unwise provocation that just gives Trump more support.

  7. The end result of the stupidity odyssey will not be some glorious moment of greatness far in the past but the new USSR, rUsSiA 2.0: isolated, bitter and absolutely useless for anything good. It would be a sad but entirely predictable end of a great promise, if the sane part of the society will not find the will and resolve to mobilize and resist it. Right about now. Two years down, it'll be a totally different country. They know it and fully count on it. Only minds completely consumed by sleepy complacency, fat and entitlement would be willingly sleepwalking past this line of no return.

But they absolutely want everyone to know about him and that he's a far right abortion counseling trump-esque hitler worshipper wtih no plans They're just like you, they lie their ass off and try and pass it off as a mistake or a joke when they get caught. No wonder you support them and the liberals, you've got so much in common

  16. Sound like a line from a 1942 British propaganda war film.
    1 point
  17. That's not entirely accurate. Majority of the mainstream media does not meet with it in a neutral environment nor do they talk about what he wants to talk about. And they will edit and show only what they feel they want the public to see. This is completely different than Justin Trudeau for example. That's why many of his press conferences, o'Toole's press conferences, and Scheers press conferences, Wound up basically being hostile confrontations with reporters who were more interested in asking questions that would be embarrassing rather than talk about what the leader came to talk about. It is very very hard for the conservative leader to actually get significant amounts of air time and has been since harper's day. The media either doesn't report, or they snip and paste either tiny fragments or commentary that makes him look bad. That's why he's always relied on social media and youTube etc etc to get his message out.

  18. unless you are going to purchase Ship Submersible Nuclear Fast Attack Submarines from the British or French, it's all for nought, as the strategic threat is in fact blockade at sea, the French production line is fully engaged with building the Suffren class, so it's only BAE Systems at Barrow-in-Furness which is available, just completing the last Astute class now Canada has the money, and I can't see the UK turning down a twenty billion dollar contract, if I was advising Marc Carney, I would say go big or go home, fly to London, enlist HM into the fight, then sign the deal with Keir Starmer to buy the submarines, the Liberals are invoking war for national survival ; no half measures then, go all the way if they are just going to dick around with a base at Iqaluit or whatever, then they are not actually serious

  19. This is all the more reason why Canada needs to enhance its military with the ability to control it unilaterally and exclusively if NATO falls apart or the U.S. removes itself from the alliance. Basically we need to be able to defend our coasts and border with first strike capability to incinerate any attacking country AND engage in NATO missions. It seems that France figured that out. At least they have a permanent seat on the UN Security Council. Canada needs to equip itself to act unilaterally and support its geopolitical stances with hard power. That will require serious air and sea capabilities and bases in the far north. It’s expensive but essential for true independence. It’s an investment in the future that we will appreciate as our population begins to rival the biggest countries in Europe. We always have to be ready to raise the drawbridge. You only need to be able to destroy a significant part of the world once to deter aggressors.

  20. Trump and Putin agree that woke globalism is bad for everyone. I'm not sure what woke globalism means, but I certainly believe that Trump is much more intelligent in terms of his cost/benefit analysis when it comes to the war in Ukraine then Biden ever was. I think Professor Jeffrey Sachs had some pretty good lines in regards to Trump's take of the war in Ukraine in the speech he gave to the European Union recently. Quoting: ** Let me end with a few words about President Donald Trump. Trump does not want Biden’s losing hand. This is why Trump and President Putin are likely to agree to end the war. Even if Europe continues with its warmongering, it won’t matter. The war is ending. So, please, get it out of your system. Please tell your colleagues. “It’s over.” It’s over because Trump doesn’t want to hold on to a loser. The one that will be saved by the negotiations taking place right now is Ukraine. The second is Europe. ** Source: https://consortiumnews.com/2025/02/27/jeffrey-sachs-the-geopolitics-of-peace/

  21. I am not even sure an apology will do at this point. Zelensky posted a video to social media yesterday, basically thanking the Europeans for all their increased efforts saying he has secured enough funding to keep the war going through 2025 and never really acknowledged Trump or any plan for peace with Trump and his usual schtick for a real lasting peace and at the end threw in that America would keep helping him too. I think the timeline for aid being cut was after that video being posted. He doesn't get to brag about continued American support through 2025 to keep the war going when he knows that isn't what Trump wants. Looks like you're right. Here's what the White House said on Wednesday: https://kyivindependent.com/trump-may-resume-ukraine-aid-after-further-steps-toward-peace-confidence-building-white-house-says/

  22. I think congress would feel different about it. He's not going to get away with going to war on his own. People are already sitting up and starting to think this is getting out of hand. Admittedly I wish they were saying that because they felt it was wrong to mistreat their neighbor that way but for whatever reason they're starting to realize that this instability is not to their advantage and they're pushing back. Imagining what going to war with someone you share a border would be like. It's one thing for Americans to support a war that's an ocean away but when anybody from Canada could slip into America past their forces and start sniping civilians and they look exactly the same as any American that's got to get them worried and I don't think they'd support it

  24. Why? What fears do you have if the conservative party wins the election? Are you afraid that all of your Marxist woke and broke liberal nonsense will be eliminated, and once again, common sense and logic will prevail and become the normal for a change? You have to be one big dumb arse hole to want to see the liberals back in power. Haven't you loser lefty ;liberals done enough damage to Canada already? I would like you to answer this question? What has the liberals done for Canada and Canadians in the past 9 years? Are you able to give me something? Hello.

  26. WEF globalist member Freeland has been starting fires all over Canada and they have been burning and destroying Canada for over a decade now. Only losers and freaks would vote for that useless bunch of liberal twits. And the rest of them are no better. They will also continue to try and burn all of Canada completely to the ground. Especially WEF globalist member Carney. 🤮

  35. ^LYING AGAIN. Obama and Clooney hosted large dinners for campaign fundraising. AS STATED, that is VERY COMMON FOR POLITICIANS. Trump is hosting PRIVATE dinners to raise undisclosed money for himself or PACS or whatever. Unlike a large dinner, there is no accounting for the PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS that Trump is having with individuals paying HIM MONEY. Why do you KEEP LYING?

  40. Either that or they're afraid to come out in case Trudeau declares the emergency act and locks them up again. That's what he's traditionally done with patriots in this country so you can't blame them for being a little Cautious. Until like last week Trudeau punished patriotism harshly

  43. https://www.npr.org/2024/07/08/nx-s1-5033234/columbia-deans-texts-antisemitic-jewish-students-protests Three deans at Columbia University have lost their jobs over what the university is calling disturbing texts that “touched on ancient antisemitic tropes.” Columbia says the three individuals are on indefinite leave, and will not return to their prior positions. The three were texting each other during a panel discussion on Jewish life on campus last May, mocking and disparaging students’ complaints of antisemitism. The texts were recently released by a congressional committee investigating antisemitism at Columbia, and were first reported by The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative website. Susan Chang-Kim, formerly the vice dean and chief administrative officer of the undergraduate school Columbia College, was dismissive of the students’ complaints, texting that it “comes from such a place of privilege… hard to hear the woe is me.” Cristen Kromm, formerly the dean of undergraduate student life, texted vomiting emojis and wrote, “Amazing what $$$$ can do.” Matthew Patashnick, formerly the associate dean for student and family support, suggested Jews on campus were just trying “to take full advantage of this moment. Huge fundraising potential.” The above was from NPR so will a certain someone respond with NPR LIES?
