You can certainly blame him for the last eight years of ever-increasing numbers of immigrants, foreign workers, foreign student-workers, and refugees. That's a massive stretch. Trump having the documents wouldn't have been a very big deal (aside from the hypocrisy). When Biden and Pence and their reps discovered classified documents they immediately took action to remediate the situation and, as always, no consequences beyond embarrassment. Trump, in contrast, lied, denied refused to return and even tried to hide the documents from authorities. All while showing them off to random people who had no clearance, seemingly to stroke his own ego. Trump isn't in trouble for the (apparently alarmingly common) mishandling of classified documents.
