Try driving an EV from Vancouver to Alaska and see how far you will get before you find yourself stuck in the wilderness with a dead battery especially in the winter time. I do not believe that there are that many EV chargers on that highway in the wilderness. No one in their right mind, except maybe yo lefty, would take a stupid chance on trying that. 😁2 points

Enjoy... This POS has been in custody 14 times prior to this. The Liberal system in Charlottesville kept letting him out. He needed..."psychological" help and was to be pitied. I know this is gruesome so, dont watch if you prefer. The point here is...one US political party advocates for animals like this to be viewed as victims. The other US political party views animals like this as...animals. In a little over a year, you Yankees have mid-term elections. Let this clip burn fast to your memory.1 point

Oh this is a tough one for them. She was a refugee from Ukraine, but she's white, sis and pretty. He is black and troubled, obviously oppressed but does that bypass Ukrainian refugee? I am guessing no. The left probably views this killing as justified because she is white and pretty. What say you libs? Is Ukrainian refugee higher or lower on the victim ladder of oppression than black american? Do you keep telling other people they are living in a fantasy world because I've been saying that to you and it really hit home so you think its a good retort? Because, they actually need to be detached from reality for that to work.1 point

No, we're canadian. Most people here don't consider themselves 'maga' or anything like it. You just think that anyone who's right of stalin must be 'maga', due to your limited comprehension skillset. That's the same reason you can vote for and support child molesters, rapists and thieves and then pretend to be offended if you think someone else did. Don't feel bad, according to the research most democrat women have mental health issues so it's not just you.1 point

Liberal MPs form environmental caucus as some want stronger climate focus from Carney | CBC News Well THAT'S not good news at all for Carney. It's never a good sign when your own mp's start forming 'special groups' away from your leadership to discuss what policy should be, and it's TERRIBLE news when they feel the need to go public about it. Carney is being pulled three ways - there's his own limited ideas and bare bones experience which was grossly overhyped, his advisors which he relies on more heavily and then his mp's, most of which were 100 percent on board with most of Justins policies and though justin was right. And that is going to lead to a mish mash of ideas and policies where you get watered down junk that won't work, flip flops trying to keep everyone happy, or caucus revolts that prevent you from getting anything done.1 point

It's somehow wrong to say "libbies", but saying MAGA is ok 😂. Thanks, herbie werbie. TBH, the term 'libbies' falls way short of the mark. The actual terms for you guys are either libtard or leftard.1 point

Well the thing is that ndp voters traditionally are not really liberal suporters. They will occasionally become temp libs like they're some sort of refugees in order to stop the conservatives or because their party leader is trash (jagmeet.... staaaaaaarre) but they really don't fit with the liberal party. If a new ndp leader who's strong and appealing gets in and leads like layton did then the ndp will naturally go home and be happy. Honestly, it was amazing that the liberals got the NDP supporters to vote for a global capitalist banker whose job it is to hide tax money from the poor for the 1% in the first place They're not going to need a lot of pushing to leave that arrangement1 point

Mark Carney says it's wrong to rely on foreign workers for low wage jobs. Or at least, said it, back before he became a politician. Now he's changed his mind. Prime Minister Mark Carney used to get this. Back in 2013, when he was governor of the Bank of Canada, he told a parliamentary committee that “one doesn’t want an overreliance on temporary foreign workers for lower-skill jobs, which prevent the wage adjustment mechanism from making sure that Canadians are paid higher wages but also that firms improve their productivity.” He added that temporary foreign workers should be for “those higher-skilled gaps that do exist.” In plain English, he said that bringing in highly skilled people to fill high-wage jobs was good for Canada, but allowing business easy access to lots of temporary foreign workers for entry-level jobs was a recipe for suppressing the wages of low-wage Canadians, and discouraging companies from raising productivity through labour-saving technologies. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/commentary/article-yes-canada-should-mostly-end-our-temporary-foreign-worker-programs/1 point

Historically, there never was a country called Palestine. You are pushing a fake claim. Israel's claim to the land goes back thousands of years. quote WHAT DOES "PALESTINE" MEAN? It has never been the name of a nation or state. It is a geographical term, used to designate the region at those times in history when there is no nation or state there. The word itself derives from "Peleshet", a name that appears frequently in the Bible and has come into English as "Philistine". The Philistines were mediterranean people originating from Asia Minor and Greek localities. They reached the southern coast of Israel in several waves. One group arrived in the pre-patriarchal period and settled south of Beersheba in Gerar where they came into conflict with Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael. Another group, coming from Crete after being repulsed from an attempted invasion of Egypt by Rameses III in 1194 BCE, seized the southern coastal area, where they founded five settlements (Gaza, Ascalon, Ashdod, Ekron and Gat). In the Persian and Greek periods, foreign settlers - chiefly from the Mediterranean islands - overran the Philistine districts. From the time of Herodotus, Greeks called the eastern coast of the Mediterranean "Syria Palaestina". The Philistines were not Arabs nor even Semites, they were most closely related to the Greeks. They did not speak Arabic. They had no connection, ethnic, linguistic or historical with Arabia or Arabs. The name "Falastin" that Arabs today use for "Palestine" is not an Arabic name. It is the Arab pronunciation of the Greco-Roman "Palastina"; which is derived from the Plesheth, (root palash) was a general term meaning rolling or migratory. This referred to the Philistine's invasion and conquest of the coast from the sea. The use of the term "Palestinian" for an Arab ethnic group is a modern political creation which has no basis in fact - and had never had any international or academic credibility before 1967. That would explain the low hanging fruit / showboat feel to it. If this results in other manufacturers thinking twice before setting up shop in America then good. I doubt the technicians they employ will be thrilled with the possibility they'll being detained and shackled by ICE while doing their jobs. Knowing too the way South Koreans like shaming their betters I expect Hyundai's corporate heads will be hanging following this. Look how Ford is reacting to Crown Royal.1 point

A Northwest Coast pipeline is part of the draft of potential infrastructure projects for fast-track consideration but there is no proponent today. Until then Eby has said the right thing.... show me a proponent for the project and we'll talk. Tough one with the ferries quote from China. There was no made-in BC quotes because they knew they couldn't compete with China shipbuilders if BC material requirement wasn't specified. BC ferries has an aging fleet that needs to be upgraded to reliably support the communities that depend on this essential service and it's ~$1.2B lesser cost than from a European quote. Ideally built in BC but that's not any time soon.1 point

You must enjoy wasting your time typing up the same sentence 12 times. You don't have much of a life now do you? One only needs one rule and not 12 rules of the same rules, stunned. The main rule here is that if anyone enters someone's else illegally, and if the home owner has no idea as to whether the criminal is there to steal or kill, kill him. Why risk waiting for the criminal to possibly pull out a gun a shoot the home owner first. In Florida, the police have no problem with a home owner shooting anyone breaking into their home. As a matter of fact the police encourage a home owner to do so. Here in lieberal Canada, the lieberal police tell you to place ones fob to their car on the doorstep. WTF. When criminals here that, it is pretty sure that many criminals will be looking for a fob on a doorstep of some home owner and hopefully find one and than take off with their car. The police here in Canada have become a bunch of lieberal woke buffoons just like you, lefty. In Canada today, the victim is now the criminal. ☹️1 point

Well he's half assing it tho, same as he's been doing with everything. He didn't just get RID of it, he delayed it for a year while they think about it for 2 months. Which does not give the auto industry the certainty it needed in these difficult times. He needed to just say 'it's gone, we'll look at alternatives later' and let them get on with business and investing but he didn't. So now they're like 'ok well that's great but we still don't know if we can invest in the industry so guess your people stay out of work"1 point

Well he stole most of the Conservative's policies, and if he was leader of the Conservative Party he'd have the wind at his back. I've heard that a lot of Canadians liked the Conservative's policies, but wanted the Liberals to implement them. Should have listened to me and voted for the real deal. In other news, we have European Parliament President Roberta Metsola saying 'There's a market for Canadian oil and gas in Europe ..... We need reliable and predictable sources of supply, and Canada comes into the mix'. Since the war in Ukraine began, all of a sudden our fossil fuels aren't so dirty anymore. This should be a no-brainer. Maybe this would be a good opportunity for us to ask them very politely to stop dragging their feet and ratify CETA. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/business/international/2025/09/08/european-parliament-president-says-theres-a-market-for-canadian-oil-and-gas-in-europe/1 point

The problem is many of the things he has announced are being seen as failures before he even moves forward. The canola farmers are not happy. The liberal mPS have formed a separate caucus just about environmental issues because carney's perceived as being too weak on that front. Rolling back the EV mandate was a half-assed because he only did it for one year so people who care about the environment are mad at him and the car industry is saying this isn't good enough, this is just a delay and we needed decisive action. His housing plan is exciting nobody and the developers are already saying it's not of any value to them. And the one thing he said he would deliver over the summer, an end to interprovincial trade barriers, has just utterly and completely failed out right. And looking at his situation and his skill set there's really no chance of him turning that around this fall or even into next spring. He would have to do major reversals on a bunch of things and that just simply isn't politically viable. And he's going to run into the same problem that Justin did, he can announce all the things he wants and make all the claims he wants but people will still be able to see that they can't afford their rent or their food and that crime is still up I suspect that he's going to be down to about 28% by the end of the year or certainly by the beginning of April next year.1 point

Government should stay out of the auto industry entirely. They should not be enforcing EVs within a certain time period. That is a direct infringement on the freedom of Canadians. It is either Marxist, Fascist or authoritarian. People should always be free to purchase whatever kind of car they wish, gas, diesel or EV. Industry should be free to manufacture whatever they wish that makes business sense to them. Government should also abolish the net zero agenda and get out trying to control the economy and energy industry. That means they should also abolish C69, the no more pipelines law. Also stop the carbon taxes on industry and all the regulations and red tape hampering growth of the energy industry. I am afraid Carney is a Trudeau 2.0. He is a globalist and environmental radical as well as an authoritarian. Don't expect much to change under Carney.1 point

A few posters seems concerned over Canadian involvement in Latvia. We are doing what is required for our NATO allies. Fact is "Canadian troops have been there since 2017 to strengthen the defence of Europe's eastern flank and to deter Russia from invading Baltic countries, through what many call a "trip wire." The current authority for the mission ends in March 2026, but Carney said he plans to extend that by another three years." "Canada leads the NATO Multinational Brigade in Latvia, a formation of approximately 3,000 personnel from 14 NATO Allies. During their meeting, the prime ministers underscored the importance of NATO, of ending Russia's war of aggression, and of securing a just and lasting peace for Ukraine."1 point
