  1. https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7519288 Carney will hobble Canada through regulations and kowtowing to activists and global ESG measures. This is the real Carney, a Net Zero UN stakeholder capitalist. Expect more controls, destruction of the oil and gas sector, more taxes, and loss of sovereignty to the UN and Davos think tanks.

  2. So, with your typical leftist lieberal attitude and belief, it is the murderer that is the victim here, and the murdered victim is not the victim here. I will never understand lieberals like you ever. You leftist lieberal people are truly phkd up in the head. We need to bring back capital punishment once again. Works well for me!

  3. I'm not the judge of who goes to hell, but I do agree with you about capital punishment for murderers. We have lots of wimpy people on the forum and across Canada who think murderers should have the same rights as everyone else. I go by the Bible and what I read is that when someone murders someone else, he loses his right to life as long as it is done through a due process fairly.

  4. False across the board. The resources are easily allocated. The problem is that the liberals especially have spent the money elsewhere and to the point where they have to borrow additional money. They just don't consider this to be a priority. Are you telling me we have 10 billion a year to spend on consultants who achieve nothing and are basically duplicating work that we already have people on the government payroll for, but there's not a dime for corrections? And when did they even run on it? When did they run on putting more people behind bars if that's what Canadians want? They didn't. So pretending that Canadians have told them that they don't want criminals incarcerated is beyond ridiculous. And in fact the police chiefs, premieres, and pundits and people from across the entire country have been screaming for it for some time. The fact is the only reason it doesn't happen is because the liberals do not believe that criminals should be behind bars. They believe they should be out on the streets immediately even if they have a long history of violent crimes and they have made that abundantly clear. Don't try and blame this on the public. The public has been very clear that it does not want criminals let out to kill more people. And the money is definitely there

  5. The reason for that is there is not enough resources to hold them. The corrections system lacks the psychiatric specialists required to treat people. That is because the citizens don't want to pay the taxes needed to fund the corrections system. A longer or harsher sentence has no affect on crime. Criminals ar deterred by the certainty of getting caught. For that, we need more police working under an establised community based policing model. Crime prevention should be the goal. The foundation is Peel's 9 principles.

  6. Okay. The election in on Monday and the votes have not been counted. Mr. Poilievre has been giving the Liberals a head start but I have promised the CPC will win 183 seats. I admit to being a bit apprehensive. He is leaving it very late in the race to surge past the Prime Minister, but he will do it.

  7. So PeePee is losing an election he should have won. His party is already muttering and blaming him. Conservative premiers Ford and Houston won't endorse or even be seen with him, pointedly defining themselves as 'Progressive Conservatives". Poilevre is desperate, even trying to hide his policy of 'weeding out Wokeness". Maybe if they'd had a better candidate... maybe if PeePee had been able to read the room and adapt, maybe if he'd listened to advice, ... it looks lkie the CPC is basically a regional party of western grievances. Their only hope is to morph back into a national party again, what they might have been if dumbass Peter Mckay hadn't given away the store to the Alliance . Even if they are capable of doing that, it will still take a couple of election cycles to compete again. When Pierre Poilievre Realized that he'd never Be Pm he sat down and cried The polls all said no way The voters yelled 'Go 'way His campaign just rolled over and died Of course if a miracle happens on Monday I submit myself for your ridicule. You can pile on now, I'm gonna go do some yardwork.

  8. like i said if your happy with 630 plus billion dollars being spent in the next 5 years then go for you....thats in Carney campaign promises....your crazy to think he is going to stop there....I'm good with my choices....best of luck on monday...

  9. Look, we could go on and on about this, you made your decision and i've made mine, who wins no one knows, but one thing for sure we will both have to live with our choices....and if your ok with 630 bil in new spending then good on you...I'm not...

  10. Conservatives and Liberals always ring up similar amounts of debt. The difference is the Liberals are more likely to use the money to help working Canadians than to pay off their wealthy donors.

  11. He deliberately mislead Canadians...by leaving our important parts of the conversation, and then telling us everything went well, like some how he had trump under control....misleading people is just as bad as lying to them...

  13. First of all: the solutions is NOT to "recycle" it is to completely stop production, use and disposal of plastics. IF you could recycle (and you can't even come close in the wealthy Western world that can't reach 10% and reality in the developing world is much closer to 0% recycle and 100% waste). Every time you store food in plastic, eat food from plastic, or handle it at all you release a lot of microplastics that enter the food chain bringing the "forever" chemicals with them into our bodies. Shoot, even wearing synthetic fabrics does the same thing. As I mentioned: there are many fully biodegradable and safe resins already in existence and we can invent and produce many more at scale. The solutions are right in front of us, but instead we continue to poison the planet with chemistry we KNOW is permanently toxic to most forms of life.

  14. You are the one with toxic attitudes. It is because of leftists like you that we have so many victims of repeat crimes. Politicians like Trudeau have to keep you happy so he releases violent criminals and then they take victims. You and your attitudes are responsible for that. Just to clarify sending repeat violent offenders to hell is not only for punishment and revenge but MORE IMPORTANTLY to prevent future potential victims.

  15. He is a coddled criminal. Of that there is no doubt, he's committed multiple crimes and been released by the system again and again The fact that he also needs help is irrelevant to that primary fact. It only explains why he's a criminal. If they'd kept him in jail, he'd still be untreated for his mental health issues same as now but this woman would not have been attacked. Treat the criminals like criminals. If you can find a way to treat them and they can demonstrate that they're not a threat anymore then great, release them. But in the meantime you hold them until that happens because Otherwise they go out and treat women like punching bags and I don't see why we would trade treating a criminal like a criminal for treating a woman like an animal

  16. I let readers decide who is the liar here. Apparently based on recent polls a good majority of Canadians, over 61% think you are the liar.

  17. This is a lie. I have families all over Europe and they all complain about rising cost, undesirable recent immigrants, housing shortage and budget deficits and worsening health care.

  18. it's absolutely true. No matter how you slice it it comes to the same thing, what we're doing right now is not working well. In Canada we wind up with tent cities and Trudeau towns, in the states you wind up with higher incarceration rates. Neither of those is solving a problem and both of those create unnecessary strain on the public either by denying assets that should be public like a park or costing additional money in perpetuity for incarceration We have to accept that we need to look at different solutions and the one you proposed seems like a damn good place to start.

  19. Folks like Chrissy don't care how they impact other people because they are not impacted. When people take their kids to the park, they don't need to be exposed to homeless people naked taking a shower, drugs, crazy people wandering around just hoping this is not the time they are violent... So they flippantly say to just let them live in the park. The reality is that a good deal of homeless people are homeless because of drug addictions or mental health issues. We don't need to put them in prison like criminals... but they do need involuntary confinement to get clean and get the mental health treatment they need.

  20. Well that's not going to solve the problem. You can only get so many people inside a tent

  28. Personally I agree with most of what you're saying here. I'm very much not on-board with how our Justice system has evolved over the last 30 years, and the seeming emphasis on the rights of the criminals over those of the community.

  31. I was the first poster on this forum to point out Carney's first official lie - his implication there were better ways to curb CO2 emissions than the consumer carbon tax he axed. I'll be voting NDP btw.

  32. We are in big time trouble if the WEF shill globalist Corney wins the election. This website could be gone and that would be a shame. Corney will not stand for any criticism of him or the WEF globalists. All alternative Canadian conservative websites will be under attack and eliminated. That is my belief. Just my opinion.
    1 point
  33. Ya, go play in the garden. Wherever PP goes he has thousands of supporters attending his rallies especially in Ontario. Corney hardly has any supporters at his small gatherings. I prefer to think that Corney is the one in a panic. Corney is just another Turdeau, but even worse. If elected as the PM of Canada, we can all kiss the good old Canada goodbye. The WEF globalists will turn Canada into a globalist tyranny country where freedom of speech and assembly will not be tolerated especially if someone or some group are conservative. It will be the gulag for them. But i am not to worried about it all because if the lieberals win the election, it looks like Alberta may be set to separate from Canada and that would be the start and the end of Canada. 30% of Albertans are ready to separate from Canada, and if the lieberals win, it is said that the number could rise up to 50%. Things are getting serious in Alberta. 🤔

  34. What policies/legislation passed was socialist/Marxist? What legislation was changed that has allowed this to happen? Because crime rates in Canada are low. There has been an increase in recent years, but it’s still lower than it used to be. I think a lot of the increase has to do with wealth disparity and a lack of things like social housing. We need more taxes on the wealthy and more social services, not less. We certainly don’t need to pay the extravagant amounts it costs to put people in jail. These two comments are just you repeating slogans you heard. Stop being so afraid.

  38. I understand exactly what the order meant. It means that for lack of alternative, the person is legally allowed to remain and work in the US indefinitely. That IS his legal status. Such a person is not hiding. They are checking in with a case manager the same way a parolee does. They get jobs. They pay taxes. They have families. All done legally. Above board. He wasn't a fugitive. He was living and behaving legally, remaining here with the full knowledge of the legal system. That is the goddamn status he was granted. The Trump administration broke the law by unlawfully renditioning him to El Salvador. A district judge said it was unlawful and ordered his return. The farking SCOTUS said that it was unlawful and that the administration had to facilitate his return--unanimously, 9-0. And you're in here pretending that it wasn't illegal because the cult must over the Orange Overlord in all things. It's embarrassing.

  39. Trump's a bully gasbag, that's a given. He's also not a quitter. Clever in a dubious way . . . he's 'chosen' the weaker of the two leading Canadian PM contenders. He's 'chosen' Mark Carney to deal with. This is just good business on his part. Carney's making a fool of himself now - advertising himself as the 'only one' to deal with a conniving US President. The Canadian citizen/taxpayers are the real losers in this charade . . .
