The west has historically been a Judeo-Christian civilization but has shifted away from that in recent decades. The west has placed more emphasis on mass immigration from the third world and Muslim countries. This has led to all kinds of problems. They all exert influence within their specific routes. The president has a lot of power, but that power is checked by the house, which is checked by the senate. I think it's a very moment Trump is executing his agenda and obviously he has the most influence. However congress and the senate will flex their muscles in due time and that will impact different areas. Right now only a handful of people can sign executive orders or vote on resolutions.
