Mayor says he refuses to be bullied or pay fine in Pride flag flap | Toronto Sun So the short version is the town decided not to fly the gay flag for pride month. The Ontario Human Rights board call that Transphobia and demanded that the mayor who voted for that paid $5,000 personally and that the town had to pay $10,000, and that the mayor also had to attend a re-education camp to learn about trans people. He didn't say anything negative about trans people. The town did not vote against trans people or anything they just did not want to fly the flag. And now they are both being attacked personally and as a community because they didn't want to be forced to do something. How insane the whole trans agenda has gotten. It's not even a question of saying anything negative about them, if you refuse to praise them and sing their glories then you may personally be on the hook for thousands of dollars. You must literally say what they want you to say and do what they want you to do or face severe repercussions from the state. I hope they fight this all the way to the supreme court. It is absolutely disgusting that people be forced to wave a flag and sing the Praises of something that they don't necessarily agree with5 points

Apparently the town is so small it doesn't even have a city owned flagpole. Cool eh? Good to see the mayor simply say NO though. That reaction is likely to become more common in future, people will simply refuse to play along. Since the alphabet folk refused to take yes for an answer they now need to develop the coping skills to deal with HELL NO.... nothing like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I can't help but be utterly astounded at how hard they worked at losing the support of tolerant people who previously wished them well. In the entire history of tactical miscalculations, this one was probably the easiest to anticipate and avoid. "Selection and maintenance of the aim" clearly got lost on the way to that hearing.5 points

Trump Promises 'All Hell to Pay in the Middle East' if Hostages Aren't Released “Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied history of the United States of America,” the president-elect says You can say what you like about trump, but you can't say that he's vague or indecisive The interesting thing is he refers to the middle east, and those responsible, he doesn't say Hamas or gaza. It certainly leaves the door open that he's talking about Iran and sending a shot across their bow that if they don't get there proxies under control they will be the ones getting hit.3 points

That has been debunked 2 MILLION times. Cellphone geolocation data is not that accurate and a ping is split second signal so their so-called data (if they even ever had any) wouldn’t be able to differentiate between a phone that is sitting on top of a dropbox, one that was in a building next door to the building with the dropbox, and one that was speeding past a dropbox at 200mph in a car 500 feet away. Given that drop boxes are placed in high traffic areas like malls and libraries and public buildings where people work and pass through of course it would pick up the same signals repeatedly (again if they have any data at all - they refused to share their raw data or methodology) 1) It didn’t show her put in “a bunch of ballots”. There is no way of telling whether she is putting in more than one in at a time. It shows her go to the box, put what is probably ONE ballot in, then go back to the car and put what is probably one more in. In other words it could just be the ballots for her and her husband and she realized she left one in the car. This is a lie that 2,000 Fools makes often: footage of someone depositing a white rectangle that looks no different than one envelope while the narrator claims without basis it’s a stack of “3 or 4” envelopes, when there’s no way anyone could tell from distant security cam footage 2) no footage of anyone making repeated trips to the Dropbox, or visiting multiple dropboxes, which is 2000 Fools’ central claim The woman mentioned above didn’t drive away then come back with another load to make multiple drops on multiple days Remember a central claim is that EACH of the 2000 “mules” visited an average of 10 drop boxes so at least 20,000 “mule drops” and the only footage you could come up with is “one lady walked back to her car”. Remember 2 years ago D’Souza said he had more footage he would release soon. But he released nothing because as he admits now it was all a lie 3) no evidence of the supposed “democrat stash houses” where the supposed fake ballots were produced and distributed to the supposed mules Remember 2 years ago D’Souza said he had more footage he would release soon. But he released nothing because as he admits now it was all a lie 4) no evidence of any actual fake or fraudulent ballots being found n any of the failed witch-hunt audits the MAGAtards launched after the election. If ballot boxes were stuffed with fake ballots then where are they? The republican lies made the 2020 election the most audited election in history and all it proved was the Biden won fair and square.3 points

If only she just got the Purple Hat instead. Much cooler: To be fair to Heggie, he was completely obliterated from attending a Diddy party - with the who's who of Kamala's A-list celebs - when he drew up his plans to invade those states. Conservatives don'y usually drink like that. And TBH, it's still possible for there to be a civil war during Trumps upcoming term, and yet have the next 4 years be better than the last 4.2 points

You're claiming that providing a social safety net and Welfare isn't somehow for the people? You've lost your damn mind LOL and there it is, your usual and predictable admission you know you're wrong and that you're butthurt and angry about it And the rest of your usual drive is once again you trying to change your story and come up with some sort of angle that you haven't tried before. And yes I do tend to repeat myself. Funny thing about the truth is that it doesn't change. Your stories are all lies and fictions so you change them constantly, I tell the truth and the truth doesn't alter The Nazis were socialists. They thought so, Hitler thought so, their behavior says so, their social programs say so, modern definitions of the term say so. You just hate the idea because you feel it makes your left wing ideology look bad. Trust me it doesn't. You're woke leftist ideology looked bad long before we started talking about Hitler2 points

Man Biden made so many people look like dumb, all the media that was just gushing "See the difference between Joe and Trump he is willing to allow his son to go to jail because he believes in the rule of law soooooooo much." The sick thing is many of those who were telling how wonderful Biden was for that are now making excuses for him pardoning his son. I wonder if the WaPo is going to give Biden infinite Pinnochios. .2 points

So in other words in order to maintain his rights he should be forced to lie and not be honest as well as being forced to do something that he doesn't want to do The woke folk are a plague on this country and we should be sure to elect leaders who will protect us against this kind of injustice. If it comes down to a face off between our rights and their rights we should ensure that our rights trample theirs soundly. It's a shame that they can't embrace the idea of everybody working together to get along. But if it's a fight they want to pick....2 points

Right. He has the experience and credibility to merit the job. Even if I think the direction is insane. The contrast between these sorts of nominees and Hegseth, Gaetz or McMahon is extreme. Even MAGA faithful should be able to see. It should be alarming.2 points

Having finally read up on this story... it is so very sad that modern humans can fail so miserably when it comes to critical thinking. There are so many gaps in the story that lack corroboration or primary sources.2 points

Don’t just take my word for it, here’s what ChatGPT says: Some January 6 protestors were arrested in part based on cellphone geolocation data, but this was typically combined with other evidence, such as video footage, social media posts, and witness statements. Key Differences Between J6 Investigations and Claims in 2000 Mules 1. Precision of Geolocation Data: • For J6 cases, authorities used carrier-grade data obtained via subpoenas, which is typically more accurate (down to a few meters) than commercially available geolocation data used in 2000 Mules. • This data was often corroborated with video footage, unlike the claims in 2000 Mules. 2. Legal Process and Context: • Geolocation data in J6 cases was obtained under strict legal standards, such as court-approved subpoenas or warrants, ensuring its reliability. • The analysis was targeted to specific individuals based on evidence of their involvement. 3. Corroboration: • J6 investigations did not rely solely on geolocation data but used it as one piece of a larger puzzle. In contrast, 2000 Mules heavily leaned on geolocation data without sufficient corroborating evidence. Conclusion Yes, cellphone geolocation data was used in the arrest and prosecution of January 6 protestors, but it was part of a broader investigative strategy that included other forms of evidence. The reliability and accuracy of this data in the J6 cases were higher due to its source (carrier-grade data) and corroboration with other evidence, unlike the claims made in 2000 Mules.2 points

This is the prequel to the D'Souza "Water is Wet" press conference. The people stupid enough to still believe Trump's election fraud lies are the exact same people too shameless to acknowledge that they swallowed and propagated obvious disinformation. They cite this film over and over and over again, no matter how many times it's been debunked. You have to have a mind to change your mind and a confession from the creator is not going to solve that problem. No brains + no decency = perfect MAGA soldier2 points

They are just upset as I use the imagery to make the valid underlying point which was it was a clear violation of the privacy of Trump and his family to abuse the power of the FBI by raiding his home, his lawyer's office, etc.1 point

This Opposite-of-reality reporting brought to you by the crowd that brought you the fabricated justification for the Iraq war, the financial meltdown, Obama birther lies, so many lies that the terms “fake news” “gaslighting” and “alternative facts” became some of the most common expressions in the public lexicon, Putin and Orban adulation, blatant Trump/Kushner bribery and an attempt to steal the 2020 election and end US democracy permanently.1 point

My experiences with Jews, growing up in Winnipeg, were always positive. I lived in a predominantly Jewish area of the city in my late teens/early 20s, and worked one summer at a Jewish camp. I was always impressed to see a group of people that has been persecuted so much throughout history, always remain positive, and have such a good outlook at life. I'm not a fan of the Israeli Government, or what they have been doing for the past year. However, it's very telling that 99% of the protests in the Western World are against Israel, and the attacks on Jews have increased dramatically. Yet conflicts that have been arguably more deadly (Ukraine, Syria, Kurdistan, Armenia, Sudan, Yemen), and barely are even mentioned, let alone have people marching against Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc..1 point

We believe scientists and doctors when they're not trying to p1ss in our faces and telling us it's raining. I can only guess why you like that kind of thing. Whats really funny is how many times you believed their blatant BS, Black Dummy. Is there anything that they could possibly say to you that's so blatantly false and stupid that you wouldn't believe them? FYI that was a rhetorical question, dummy. Yup, he's at the end of his game, they already backstabbed him, he knows enough to be a severe thorn in their side if they come after him and he's got nothing more to lose. And he's always been about his family (Not you Navy Joan!) so getting his son free would have been a priority. Well he did lose focus at a international gathering and wander off to start a conversation with a tree, so it's really hard to argue with you.1 point

Have you actually read the report? The lab leak section is right at the start and is quite short, just four pages long. To me the most compelling evidence against the lab leak and for zoonotic spillover is the fact that all the early cases of SARS-CoV-2 were clustered around the wet market 10 miles from the WIV lab. That's based on data, not conjecture.1 point

I keep seeing more downsides to the Canadian system in its current form. Public safety seems to be our last advantage over the US, and that’s deteriorating. They earn more, have freer speech, and since the rise of MAID and wait times, even our healthcare seems to have become worse than theirs.1 point
