I never said it was his trial lawyer. I said his lawyer, because that's what he was when Judge Merchan was appointed as the judge for the case. No, they don't need Trump to be guilty of those other crimes. Other people can be guilty of those crimes. All that's required here is that Trump was knowingly involved in trying to hide them for his own benefit. This is one of the reasons why novel legal methods are often required for rich dirtbags and criminals who get patsies to do their dirty work and take the fall for them. In the reality distortion field, Cohen, Bannon, Navarro, Manafort, Papadopoulos, Roger Stone, Rick Gates etc were all convicted for committing crimes to help their boss, but their boss totally had nothing at all to do with them, rrright? 🙄2 points

Well of course he's going to be more corrupt and vindictive. Biden has set the bar very high and he's not going to let Biden beat him like that!2 points

Yes, the statue of limitations for misdemeanors in New York State is two years. However, Donald Trump was not charged with committing a misdemeanor, he was charged with 34 Class E felony charges, such as Section 175.10 , “Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree.” You can click on the link and see that State Law lists 175.10 as a Felony, not as a Misdemeanor.2 points

Your surprised? Since immigration is now a "right" we have nationals from almost every country living abroad. These "immigrants" didn't leave their emotional baggage at home when they left. No they brought it with them to their new homes and when trouble arises at "home" they flood to the motherlands support. Jews, Irish, Haitians, Palestinians, the list goes on. "Local conflicts" no longer exist. The front lines have become the world and governments have little choice in confronting "foreign" support.2 points

There are no international laws governing immigration. That's what the voters want. It remains to be seen if that's what the political class wants. It's certainly not what the Liberals or NDP want. Damn those Jews for... defending themselves! So you don't want Jews but you want lots and lots of Muslims. Wouldn't you just be happier to move to a Muslim country?1 point

But he will hound you never the less. I wonder how many votes people like robo-bot cost the Democrats?1 point

The sentiment isn't bad, even if it's overwritten. Here's my summary: Our dysfunctional politics are a direct result of our apathy and/or ignorance, resulting from but also encouraged by bad-faith politicians on either side who are more interested in enriching themselves. Why? Nobody holds them accountable. Instead, we get a performative pantomime where one side just points the finger at the other, whips up rage and emotion, whilst offering nothing positive or honest themselves. This is easiest to see in the USA, where you have obvious figures like Nancy Pelosi trying to defend how Congress' and their family's stock market portfolios outperform the indexes by ~12% per year because of insider trading, but that this should continue to be allowed because of "mumble mumble, something about free markets." Like...yeah, Donald Trump is a nightmare, but you're absurdly crooked too.1 point

This one resigned from Trump's legal team in January, citing his "compass". You can't have one if you're working for Trump...that's why there's a long parade of lawyers who've quit/resigned from defending him. LOLOL!!! Nice try. I was responding directly to your quote...about prosecutors. 😑 Because that's not what was adjudicated. The fraud is the crime. Predicate offenses have already been proven. Michael Cohen went to jail for some. David Pecker's company admitted to others. They're the motive behind the fraud which elevates it from misdemeanor to felony. All the prosecutor had to prove was knowledge of and attempt to hide them. Appear to the folks living in their reality distortion bubble, who magically forgot that this is exactly what Trump campaigned on in 2016, or that he spent his entire presidency demanding the FBI and DoJ investigate his political opponents. "Lock her up! We should lock her up! We're going to lock her up!" etc etc.. -Trump, 2016 "I never said lock her up" - post conviction Trump, 2024. 🤣1 point

Goddess when she suggested it was just Fauci and a handful of psyop experts plus she called him a murderer. Marjorie Taylor Greene says he should be charged with mass murder following Fauci's grilling by Congress. I guess Goddess is still just wasting all her evidence and efforts on us. I suggested she give it to someone important enough to see it gets into the appropriate hands that could actually put it to better use, like MTG for example Oh well it is what it is.1 point

As long as it supports his echo chamber beliefs. Absolutely. Yes, but it doesn't even stop there. The covid virus has some of the biological markers and 'shape' that are precisely what the lab was intending to add to their starter virus to see the effect. It might as well be a signature. It could theoretically appear in nature but again - it's a one in a million chance for that and a 1 in 1 chance if it escaped from the lab.1 point

You lie. You've been corrected multiple times. You've been shown NY laws as instructed to the jury. You persist in lying. So, again, for the honest people playing along at home, the "other crime" is a violation of NY election law. From the damn jury instructions--literally the very next section from what WCM quoted NEW YORK ELECTION LAW § 17-152 PREDICATE The People allege that the other crime the defendant intended to commit, aid, or conceal is a violation of New York Election Law section 17-152. Section 17-152 of the New York Election Law provides that any two or more persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of conspiracy to promote or prevent an election. Under our law, a person is guilty of such a conspiracy when, with intent that conduct be performed that would promote or prevent the election of a person to public office by unlawful means, he or she agrees with one or more persons to engage in or cause the performance of such conduct.1 point

Based on the geological record, we were due for a mini ice age. The fact the opposite happened because our actions are changing that cycle should make you at least a little concerned. The planet is warming, that is not dogma, it is backed up with actual data and measurements. Blindly denying is not questioning, it is self imposed ignorance.1 point

No, it's based on what you genius' have said happened, that Fauci murdered millions of human beings around the planet by releasing the virus he cooked up in Wuhan. So he could make billions of dollars peddling a vaccine for it. Maybe a picture of Fauci doing this in Wuhan to start things off would help your case.1 point

"the science was wrong, that fact that the science could be wrong again doesn't seem to concern these fools." Do you even listen to yourself before you talk? You're not interested in the facts, you're a religious follower. Anyone who knows even the very first thing about science knows that the first rule is to question everything. The first rule of religion is to repeat the dogma. You're mad at people for questioning while you repeat the dogma. You need to look at yourself again and do a little more questioning yourself.1 point

Those silly scientists don't know nearly as much as you do. If the CCP and People's Liberation Army believes in unrestricted warfare as described in the two PLA officer's book written about 25 years ago, then it is certainly is a possibility that the Covid 19 virus was part of that unrestricted warfare. They certainly have no qualms about using political interference and other tools to extend their control and influence in the west.1 point

That's a bit of a false equivalency. And it's pretty misleading as far as that poll goes. I had a family member, he was a serious drug addict. He also did jail time for credit card fraud. It took us forever to get him help and he did get better before the end. Did I trust him? No, not at all. Did I love him and consider him to be dear to me? Absolutely. When you ask people if they trust their family, you're asking them if they trust all of their family. I would definitely have answered that question no. But that doesn't mean that I don't hold my family dear, or there there aren't members of my family that I would trust with my life. A little bit of bait and switch to try and make it cheesy Point Mike. Very disingenuous. I noticed that regardless of their answers, virtually nobody trusts Biden. That tells you something1 point

So the recent show trial in NY seems to have actually given Trump a substantial boost in donations and it hasn't hurt his polling number at this time. Since it's much more than likely that Hunter is going to get the lightest possible punishment or perhaps zero consequences at all from the friendly jury members, this too may even help Trump's popularity even more. It helps prove his narrative that the system is rigged against him while Hunter gets off.1 point

Read the f'ing NY state LAW. Why do you restate what I wrote AND GET it WRONG? You just DESTROY YOUR CREDIBILITY. LMAO1 point

Do you even pause to think before you post this inane nonsense? A. Trump (and those acting at his behest) falsified business records. That's "what he did." And the same DA's office has prosecuted 437 other cases not just criminally, but with a felony charge for falsifying documents in the last 10 years. Just that one office. Trump may have told you that this doesn't happen, but you know he's a pathological liar, right? It happens all the time. B. Get it through your head, this prosecution and conviction did NOT rely on federal law, and no federal charges were applied. FFS, go read the damn jury instructions. The case works just fine with NY law. C. The charges WERE NOT past the COVID-extended statue of limitations. You seem absolutely committed to lying about this point, so I suppose this is mentioned for honest people playing along at home.1 point

Friendly fire is something that unfortunately happens in most wars. But friendly fire is very different from one side using their own people as human shields. It's been pointed out that during WW2 the Einsatzgruppen often numbed themselves with alcohol before executing civilians, Hamas of today LIVESTREAMED what they did on Oct 7. They were proud of what they were doing, and they wanted the world to see it. What does that tell you about Hamas?1 point
