Is that a constant statistic for Denmark? This link states that the numbers are kind of sketchy since other more reliable sources of energy are often greatly lowered in order for wind to be able to produce more. A great wind, or not? - Climate Discussion Nexus Even the piece in North American Windpower, which is an industry advocate that greets readers with such gems as “DOE’s Equity Action Plan Includes Clean Energy Program Investments”, concedes that “The average capacity factor of U.S. wind generators (35% in 2021) is lower than the average capacity factor of nuclear generators (93% in 2021), which are designed to run at or near full output, which they typically do…. In the United States, wind speeds, and correspondingly, wind-powered electricity generation, often peak during spring…. Because electricity demand tends to be lowest in the spring and fall months, some generators – including both nuclear and coal – reduce their output or schedule maintenance during these months. Also, on days when weather patterns lead to more wind generation, competing coal-fired and natural gas-fired generators often are called upon to reduce their output so that overall electricity supply matches demand.” The last sentence is the giveaway. The reason wind outpowered other sources is that they were turned down on purpose to let wind prevail because it is so inflexible as well as expensive. Frankly just about anybody can outsell their competitors if their competitors are ordered by the government to sell less so they can sell more. But what is to become of the consumer, the power grid and even government finances if it turns out that people cannot build wind turbines unless their operators are allowed to charge much higher prices than other types of energy need to?3 points

What the Marxist government in Ottawa did to those truckers and their supporters should never be forgotten. The other truckers who kept working were truckers who could careless about their own rights and freedoms. They were a bunch of wimps and cowards. What was done to those truckers and their supporters by having their bank accounts and credit cards frozen was a crime against all Canadians. Only communists would do something like that. But you are not bright enough to see the communism in all of this. Probably because you are a communist? I would sure love to see the day when the communists in Ottawa froze your bank account over something. I don't think that you would like that happening to you, eh? Because it happened to someone else that you do not care about, well that is okay with you. You are the loser alright. Well, if I keep blathering away at you well then why don't you just stop replying to my posts then? What is wrong with you? Are you a sucker and do you keep enjoying me kicking your butt? Shut the hell up and go away. Goodbye. ?2 points

Climate change alarmists want the rest of us to pay through the nose for oil and gas AND they want us to pay for subsidies to purchase their virtue signalling ev's. Can anyone explain why 99.99% of the politicians and uber wealthy celebrities make no effort to lower their own carbon footprint? We are constantly lectured by these fools about climate change.2 points

OK...how has this scary monster called "climate change" cost Canada billions? BTW...have you not noticed yet that the term "climate change" is not only dumb as hell, but also so generalized as to be true under any and all circumstances? mah...the climate changes. It does this regularly...daily in fact. The tradewinds shift...the planet shifts...the oceans warm and cool...and shite happens...as it ALWAYS has. This is a man-made emergency which stinks like an excuse to trash the western world. Nothing more and nothing less.2 points

And it's not just the unvaxxed, who Trudeau wanted everyone to hate on. There's a lot of tweets from people who had 2 shots, say they were coerced or lose their jobs and that they refuse to take any more. Lots of people tweeting they had one shot and had serious adverse reactions and refused to take another. People were so indoctrinated with terror and things happened so fast, that they didn't have time to learn about the actual science. 2 years in and the science is clear. Hopefully we don't get fooled again.2 points

I think they're already panicking. ? BC has had a very normal summer with none of the vaunted climate change we hear so much about. It has been a splendid September so far. Perfect temperatures...a bit of rain...lots of sunshine. Obama has a huge estate on Martha's Vineyard recently purchased that we've all been seeing lately...right on the ocean. Must be a 'climate denier'.2 points

If you had the intelligence to know the facts, you’d be flabbergasted at how stupid you are for posting that moronic meme. 1) MMGW is a real crisis which is upon us today. 2) Coal is only 20% of US electrical generation 3) Even when the electricity comes from coal, gross carbon emissions are lower. You’re the people destroying America, and you’re just too damn stupid to realize it. Either that, or you’re committed to evil. One or the other. Most likely stupid. You’re just too stupid to realize that all-time high temperatures around the world, catastrophic hurricanes destroying New Orleans, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, etc., massive, unprecedented ice storms shutting down Texas, largest-ever wildfires over and over… each of these events cost over $20 billion and you think renewable energy is too expensive and it just makes people feel good. Not to mention wars in Iraq. Man, you are just an idiot.2 points

OMG, so you're just acknowledging that you don't understand percentages. Scientific American's article, and your vaunted new catchphrase 'base rate fallacy', would have applied if I was saying "There are twice as many covid deaths among the vaxed, that's proof that the vax doesn't work!" and you came back with "Nearly 6x as many people are vaxed, so the number of deaths are way out of proportion to the number of unvaxed! You just belched out a base rate fallacy, magnificent one! I finally got one up on you!!!" Here's the thing though, there are 5.666 times as many covid deaths among the multi-vaxxed and there are 5.666 times as many multi-vaxxed people. Do you get it? 85% vaxed and 85% of our deaths are among the vaxed. It's the exact same thing that you'd expect if you gave 85% of the people a Pflacebo. They die at the exact same rate as the unvaxed. SIMPLE MATH. VERY, VERY SIMPLE percentages. Yet you still don't even understand it after having it explained to you twice.2 points

quote British multiculturalists are feeding Islamic fundamentalism. Muslims do not need to become the majority in the UK; they just need gradually to Islamize the most important cities. The change is already taking place. British personalities keep opening the door to introducing Islamic sharia law. One of the leading British judges, Sir James Munby, said that Christianity no longer influences the courts and these must be multicultural, which means more Islamic. Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, and Chief Justice Lord Phillips, also suggested that the English law should "incorporate" elements of sharia law. British universities are also advancing Islamic law. The academic guidelines, "External speakers in higher education institutions", provide that "orthodox religious groups" may separate men and women during events. At the Queen Mary University of London, women have had to use a separate entrance and were forced to sit in a room without being able to ask questions or raise their hands, just as in Riyadh or Tehran. "London is more Islamic than many Muslim countries put together", according to Maulana Syed Raza Rizvi, one of the Islamic preachers who now lead "Londonistan", as the journalist Melanie Phillips has called the English capital. No, Rizvi is not a right-wing extremist. Wole Soyinka, a Nobel Laureate for Literature, was less generous; he called the UK "a cesspit for Islamists". "Terrorists can not stand London multiculturalism", London's mayor Sadiq Khan said after the recent deadly terror attack at Westminster. The opposite is true: British multiculturalists are feeding Islamic fundamentalism. Above all, Londonistan, with its new 423 mosques, is built on the sad ruins of English Christianity. The Hyatt United Church was bought by the Egyptian community to be converted to a mosque. St Peter's Church has been converted into the Madina Mosque. The Brick Lane Mosque was built on a former Methodist church. Not only buildings are converted, but also people. The number of converts to Islam has doubled; often they embrace radical Islam, as with Khalid Masood, the terrorist who struck Westminster. unquote Londonistan: 423 New Mosques; 500 Closed Churches :: Gatestone Institute Is this the destiny for Canada? CBC appears to be a strong advocate for Islam and Multiculturalism in the people they have hosting programs and pundits commenting on politics. Some immigrants in Canada have been on television recently during the Queen's death coverage and some saying we should get rid of the Constitutional monarchy even though they must have sworn allegiance to her majesty in order to obtain citizenship. Meanwhile the government continues to bring in immigrants who are not sincere about being loyal to our Constitutional monarchy.1 point

Yes, hydro is like solar. They have to shut the spillways at night to refill the reservoirs. The dam operators are unionized. It would cost gudzillions to have them not click the reduce power output icon at night. There has and will be no research into hydrogen generation and storage until Trump is re-elected and orders it so, like he did with vaccines. Charging vehicles at night is absurd like turning the dishwasher on when you're sleeping instead of just turning the volume up on the TV If you fill your car with hydrogen, it will float away and be lost. Your insurance won't cover that. EVs and hydrogen cars explode driving in a straight line, moving ICE vehicles only explode and burn if you turn the steering wheel more than 3 degrees without jamming on the brakes. Justin Trudeau will put a carbon tax on your tap water if they start using hydrogen from electrolysis. Burning hydrogen is worse for everything, it creates clouds that trap sunlight and make it even hotter. The added H2O in the air will fall as rain and create floods, maybe completely ruin desert areas. There is no mention of Climate Change in the Bible, therefore it cannot possibly be true. Power plants are intrinsically bad, coal fired plants supplying electricity to London made things worse than having a coal heater in every room of every home in London. Uncle Bobby could knick coal off the side of the tracks now he has to PAY 100 quid or so. Who shall pay, who shall PAY? Hydrogen cars mainly use fuel cells they don't burn it. Have you no respect for tradition? -book of Excuses 14:7 (provided to all managers and civil servants)1 point

Blacks are less than 15% of the population. The vast majority of leftards are white FYI. The most significant change in voter demographics is that the Latino community is coming around to the conservative side. They're mainly family-oriented, anti-crime, and attacks against religion are anathema to their culture in general. Dems are completely against them on the issues that matter most.1 point

That was racist on top of being nonsense. The only reason he got away with it was The MSM, which would have crucified Trump over it, gave Biden a pass. But this racist comment, along with the forced vaccine(which blacks were surprisingly against), has caused increasing numbers to become anti-dem. So it’s all going to work out in the end.1 point

No, the fact is that in Canada, the country where you and I both live, 85% of people are multi-vaxed and they make up 85% of the deaths. Let’s just begin here: Stop the lying. Just… dwell in truth. “California” didn’t tell people to stop charging their cars. The electric company ASKED people not to charge between 4pm and 9pm for two days. So STOP LYING. Integrity is earned in drops and lost in buckets, and turning a voluntary two day request into “California warns people to go easy on their car charging” is just an outright lie. I’ve pointed out many times that wind provides nearly ten percent of US electric power TODAY. I’ve pointed out many times that we do not need to increase grid capacity to support electric vehicle charging, because nearly all of it occurs at night, and it’s roughly equivalent to running an air conditioner… and you aren’t calling for the abolition of air conditioners. I’ve pointed out that even coal-powered electricity to power a car produces lower carbon emissions than burning gasoline in a car, mile for mile. Now, when we talk about this destruction, what do we mean? We mean the permanent destruction of earth to support its current population. Earth itself doesn’t give a damn. Earth will keep on spinning and life will continue to evolve. BUT every population center on Earth is close to a body of water, making it susceptible to destruction from catastrophic weather events. We have predicted mass melting of Antarctic ice and it’s happening. As it continues sea levels will rise. Ocean currents will shift. Food does not come from factories. It comes from farms. Massive farms. We cannot possibly shift all agriculture to new farmland to sustain our populations. The net result is that MMGW will impact populations of hundreds of millions of people. They will migrate. What’s America gonna do? Build a wall? A wall that can stop 100 million people? We couldn’t even build enough bullets to stop that many people. Republicans we’re too slow to react to the realities of WW II. Only after the war was over did they wake up. MMGW is an actual problem already. And slowing it is possible. It’s not a bunch of BS. It’s not going to destroy the economy, it will save it. If America leads in alternative energy tech, we will have abundant, cheap energy. That means more industry and cheaper production. We can do this. Tough shit for oil companies, but they’re a bunch of jackasses. They’re selling typewriters and refusing to invest in computers. The CD came out and they want to keep selling vinyl. Technology changes, and either they adapt or they die. It’s just that simple.1 point

So you believe that Indians are immigrating to Canada to let their cattle roam our streets, to overpopulate our towns and and pollute our rivers, and to let zoo monkeys take over? They're leaving those conditions because they want to recreate them here, rather than escape them? ? and here we are again, with your astounding ignorance highlighted by your explicit racism. While you're roleplaying Mississippi trailer park resident, there are Chinese and Indian people laughing at how you believe that Jonah was swallowed by a fish and survived in its belly for 3 days and 3 nights, or that Moses talked to a burning shrub. Do people who post stuff like this realize how dumb it is? Much of Canada has moved away from Coal. Ontario banned it last decade. And even if 100% of the power was generated from Coal, an EV uses a fraction of power the equivalent of several dozen litres of gasoline represents. So it would be worth it just to remove the wildly inefficient gasoline industry. Drilling, Refining, Transportation all before you put it in your car to burn it. The luxury of having thousands of litres of Gasoline a few kms from every home in Canada is wildly inefficient compared to delivering it directly to your home through electricity.1 point

Lets try it this way then. Assume for a moment that the vaccine actually does work at preventing serious illness and death - can you understand why they would use the math they use because it works at explaining what a base rate fallacy means in the context of COVID? I mean if there was a global conspiracy to pull the wool over everyone's eyes, and especially scientists, you'd think they'd at least do so with math that adds up in case it's examined a little more closely. Wouldn't things be a lot easier for you to simply say the vaccine is fake then trying to play numbers with scientists and mathematicians?1 point
