Trump administration wins on bump stock ban, something that Obama refused/failed to do.

Supreme Court justices reject appeal over bump stock ban

The Trump administration's move was an about-face for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. In 2010, under the Obama administration, the ATF found that the devices were legal. But under the Trump administration, officials revisited that determination and found it incorrect. The revised regulation requires owners either to destroy their bump stocks or surrender them. The government estimates hundreds of thousands of the devices have been sold.

If Trump cured cancer these morons would be like “dumb arseholes should’ve never gotten cancer in the first place”.  These mouth breathers are always changing the subject or moving the goal posts.  It’s like the shell game with them.  I think they just need Ritalin.

Or they could try and start to grow some more new brain cells.

Yes ironic.

Yes, and he also signed criminal justice reform.  Add to that the new NAFTA deal, and new trade deal with China, etc and it gives one a glimpse of why people can support him, despite his many many many many flaws.

Our Pastor - whom I think was initially not pleased with Trump - had visited and told us this information that we were not even ware of:   Trump had opened up  prisons to Christian Evangelist groups!

Apparently, Christian groups have been evangelizing and converting many prisoners, thus many of these prisoners are getting released earlier - which saves USA billions of dollars!  It also means reducing the rate of re-offenses. The Pastor had acknowledged in our discussion  that Trump is doing a lot of good.

I looked up about this program:

Trump signs prison reform bill FIRST STEP Act: 'Everybody said it couldn’t be done'

Trump signed the bipartisan, evangelical-backed FIRST STEP Act at the Oval Office of the White House joined by criminal justice reform advocates, faith leaders, ex-offenders and lawmakers who've pushed hard to pass the bill before the close of the current Congress.

Under the law, eligible prisoners can participate in such programs to earn time credits to spend part of their sentence in halfway houses or some kind of supervised release.

Prison Fellowship, an evangelical prison ministry founded by the late Chuck Colson, says that the bill’s passage opens the door for it to install the Prison Fellowship Academy in federal prisons. The program is installed at 80 prisons in 27 states and has helped countless ex-offenders find God and get on the right path to a successful release.

“This legislation will increase the access of faith-based and nonprofit organizations, like Prison Fellowship, to provide desperately needed programming in the federal prison system and help reduce recidivism,” Prison Fellowship President James Ackerman said in a statement. “From our work in many states across the country, we can say without hesitation that these programs restore lives — putting people on a new path and eventually reduce crime.”

“By opening the doorway to more opportunities for not just education but character education and faith-based programs in our system, we are going to see more families intact again,” Pence, the former Republican governor of Indiana, said. “More people are going to choose a better pathway when they come out having paid their debt to society.”

Trump is trying to deliver as much as he can while he is in power!

There's a case of the Emperor's New Clothes if there ever was one...heir apparent Joe Biden.

Not only wouldn't you leave your kids near this guy, he's going senile right in front of everybody's view screens.

It'll be ironic AF if the GOP use that argument considering who leads their party right now.

Irony is nothing new to politics.  At least Trump knows that he's running for president and not the senate.  And at least Trump knows the difference between his family members.

Yeah sure Boges, 'cause Trump is as bad as Biden right? LMAO.

FYI Trump talks coherently for hours at a time in his rallies in front of tens of thousands of people, and he does it often. He's also in front of the camera several times a day talking about complicated issues. He's been carrying the weight of the Presidency and working long hours for 3+ years. Still, with all that, his "epic fail" sound-bytes are few and far between, and when they happen it's usually because of crudeness, not senility.

Biden is basically unemployed by comparison to Trump. He talks a couple times a week for less than ten minutes and he still can't even say what frickin' city he's in half the time. A better comparable for Biden is Dubya, but Biden's still much further down the slippery slope than Dubya was. A 4 year old trying to read words from their alphabet soup is more coherent than Joe Biden.

Then why did the Democrats lose to Trump in 2016 ?

We can do a post mortem on that.

- Seems there was no love for Hillary.
- She took for Granted support in Swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
- Obama voters stayed home.

And with that he only won those key states by 70,000 votes.
