We can do a post mortem on that.

- Seems there was no love for Hillary.
- She took for Granted support in Swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
- Obama voters stayed home.

Well guess what ?   All of the Trump haters are going to have face the same music...on steroids....because now he is an incumbent with all the advantages that entails.

Wanna beat Trump ?    Then beat him where it counts.

Everything else is just more noise.

And all the disadvantages. Like coal miners asking what happened to him saving their jobs. And all those people in the midwest damaged by his China sanctions, and whatever happened to his incredible health care plan and protection for people with pre-existing illnesses? And hey, why has he spent so little time actually working in the last three and a half years?

Oh wow, you have a video of minions laughing. That counts as a cite for you. Lower bar and all.

I also posted two videos that highlight hilariously awful things Trump has done. I suspect you didn't watch them.

The laughing minions are a direct response to your claim he speaks coherently at his therapy rallies.

He lies about building a wall. And steals money earmarked for the military to build what can be done.

Well assuming Biden has been given the Dem job which it looks like, unless he picks some barn burner of  a Veep, he may have serious problems offering an alternative to Trump.

Given how old both TRump and Biden are VEEPS have suddenly more importance.

Well, if he wants to win he won't choose any of the retreads from the race. And certainly not a 'progressive' to balance the ticket. He needs a strong, capable 50ish ex general type. People will want to know whoever the VP is can do the job and isn't some scary crank from the far left like Warren or Sanders or that bozo from Texas. He's from the northeast so needs someone from the West (NOT California) or South. Actually Beto O'Rorke would be an excellent choice if he wasn't such an inexperienced airhead and if Biden weren't 77..

You made anidiotic comp between trump and Biden. 20% of Biden's sentences end up being a gaffe, Trump makes one a week after saying 50,000 words. Not the same at all.

Lots of people watched them before you.

Trump was still elected president....first try....while Biden has already failed twice before when he was much younger.

No he didn't steal money.  An appeals court ruled in his favour.  Stating that he stole money is actually a lie.

This will be the hilariously ironic thing about this coming race.

The GOP will hammer home that Biden is senile while completely ignoring the senility of their own leader.

Guess which party's campaign commercials will win that battle ?

Biden has "hammered home" that he is senile all by himself.

I think you’re confusing being an a-hole with senility.  Trump is definitely rude, crude and an a-hole many times.  But that doesn’t mean he’s senile.

No.....he's pretty stupid on the public stage.

711 was a great tragedy. The day the Slurpee died.

Imagine if a Dem confused 911 with 711, there'd be public hearings!!!

There are more advantages than disadvantages, it's called the incumbent advantage for a reason, the incumbent wins more often than not, and even when they lose their incumbency usually doesn't hurt them and they lose for very different reasons.

Something also tells me you wouldn't be talking about the potential negatives of incumbency if we were discussing a politician you didn't hate, with other candidates you would easily admit to incumbency being an advantage, but with Trump you can't because you are that blinded by hate.

In 2016 the Democrats got to run against an imaginary Trump presidency that never happened and pretended he would be Literally Hitler. In 2020 if the Dems play the Literally Hitler card again voters can look at the actual results of his first term and see the Democrats nightmares are even more unfounded in 2020 than they were in 2016.

That doesn't help Democrats, it hurts them. Their case was infinitely better when all there was to judge Trump on politically are his words taken out of context, with actual actions taken during his administration to compare him to instead of just wild imaginations fueled by Anti-Trump propaganda about what he might do in office, their case that Trump will be an evil racist dictator out to destroy America has been severely weakened by actual reality.

The Democrats can cry Hitler as loud and as often as they want, but most voters already treat them as The Boy Who Cried Hitler because of it. That was the Democrats main weapon in 2016, being The Boy Who Cried Hitler, it failed miserably even back then, and it's going to be even less effective this time around.

Simply put, Running against the way Trump talks doesn't work. They already tried that, and now doubling down on fail isn't going to yield a better result for them.
