  2. https://www.dailywire.com/news/kevin-oleary-blasts-bozo-tim-walz-for-cheering-tesla-stock-drop-beyond-stupidTime “There’s this thing on my phone, I know some of you know this, on the iPhone. They’ve got that little stock app,” Walz said at an event Tuesday evening in a clip he posted on X. “I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day,” Walz said as the crowd erupted in laughter. “225 and dropping!” he exclaimed. One little problem with that. Walz, the former vice presidential candidate, neglected to mention that as recently as last summer, Minnesota had 1.6 million shares of Tesla in its retirement fund and 211,000 shares of Tesla in its non-retirement fund. During a debate, Tampon Tim actually called himself a knucklehead. He was right.

  3. Excuse me? Tim Walz called for tampon machines in boys bathrooms on public schools. The Trump campaign found out and TAMPON TIM because Walz's new nick. Oh, and by the way I PROVIDED EFFING LINKS. That means Tampax Max actually celebrates Tesla stock losing value, while the Minnesota employee retirement fund is heavily invested in Tesla stock. Are you just plain effing STUPID?

  6. What's upsetting you? You said it was made up. Now you admit he wrote it, and there's no statute of limitations on hypocrisy. So are you mad because he wrote it or just want to shoot the messenger who brought it to your attention? So it seems not that many people actually liked PeePee or what he was saying. They just didn't want Trudeau anymore. And the more people see PeePee the less they like him. Probably why he won't let journalists on the plane. I'm sorry the last 2 weeks have been so upsetting for you but don't be glum. In political time it's a long way to the election. Maybe PeePee can pull it off. You know, come up with a new slogan or something.

  7. Ah, I see. Perhaps you could then explain what it means to have done what "economist" does, if leading multiple central banks doesn't qualify him? 🙄 Wouldn't you just call them a pilot? What if a pilot worked for a bank, flying the top leadership around in their helicopters and planes? Would you call him a banker, because he works for a bank, or would he still be a pilot? 🙃

  8. The problem with stupid people is they don't know they're stupid. And as I so often point out on this forum, so damn stupid they'll post something even stupider than their previous comment thinking it will help their argument, as in the example above. The people jailed in this case are charged with no crime whatsoever in El Salvador, and the USA is paying a foreign govt to do just that. They were deported as 'suspected' gang members, against a court order by the wishes of one person, your leader. Your acceptance of that, and your claim that basic rights such as habeus corpus only apples to people you like and of a President's right to act against the rule of law shows you are undeniable a fascist yourself. IE: an extreme right winger, believing in authoritarianism, the power of state over the individual, scapegoating, suppression of dissent and worship of a leader of that cause. 9. You very obviously have no idea how America works. Not the faintest clue. The entire farking purpose of a constitutional system (rather than a pure democracy or autocracy) is to create laws more durable than the whims of one election. That the whole point of this "nation of laws" business. The POTUS can set whatever goals they want, but they have to follow the law to pursue them. This is what the laws and courts are for, to prevent the tyranny of a tyrant or the tyranny of the majority.

  10. Not always. Often he says things that he knows to be false The defining characteristic of Trump isn’t whether he is liar or is too unfiltered to lie. The defining characteristic of Teump and the MAGA/right wing populist movement generally is that it is post-truth. This means that truth and beliefs simply don’t matter one way or the other and are not a factor in anything they say. In fact you’ll find that often they don’t have many well-formed beliefs at all. They mostly only have wants. They will say whatever they think it takes in the moment to satisfy their wants whether it’s based in truth or an absurd outlandish lie doesn’t matter. It could be a big want like annexing Canada and Greenland or a small impulsive want like deflecting a reporter’s embarrassing question. This is why they’re immune to embarrassment when their false claims are fact checked, debunked or exposed as illogical or hypocritical, it simply doesn’t matter to them or their supporters. We know Trump was doing more of his bullshitting because practically in the same breath he said that he said Trudeau was the worst and “nastiest” he had ever dealt with and also that he has said publicly that he doesn’t know anything about PP except that he’s stupid for not being MAGA. And IIRC not too long ago Trump once spoke positively about the then-expected conservative landslide victory in Canada. That sounds like the exact opposite of preferring liberals to conservatives. And of course there has never been a conservative government since Trump entered politics so what would he base any assessment of them on anyways? Trump’s comments is just another example of the world’s dumbest politician making the world’s most obvious attempt of reverse psychology possibly because he prefers conservatives and definitely because he’s trying to cover up for the damage he’s done to conservative parties across the western world Trump’s political incompetence has done more to boost the failing left and centre-left parties across Europe and Canada than anything else. Honestly it’s the Liberals who ought to be saying that they prefer Trump to Democrats.

  12. That is what I have been trying to explain to you all along you silly little dweeb. That's why people told the democrats not to throw the law out the window when they were doing so during their term. And that's why trump feels free to get away with it now. How does almost impossible to put that Genie back in the bottle once it's out, the democrats open that door and trump is walking through it. I doubt it'll get better during the next administration regardless of who it is

  14. https://www.foxnews.com/us/domestic-terrorism-hits-tesla-drivers-dealers-former-fbi-field-boss-warns-could-get-worse Suspected Tesla arsonists hit with federal charges in acts of 'domestic terrorism': AG Three individuals were charged in federal cases after they used Molotov cocktails to violently attack Tesla properties around the country in acts of "domestic terrorism," Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced Thursday. "The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended," Bondi said. "Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars." All three face charges carrying a minimum penalty of five years and up to 20 years in prison, the department said. Adam Matthew Lansky, 41, on Jan. 20, threw approximately eight Molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership located in Salem, Oregon, federal prosecutors said. One vehicle was completely destroyed, and several others were damaged. Lansky also threw a "large heavy object through the dealership window," they said. At the time of the attack, he was armed with a suppressed AR-15 rifle. Lucy Grace Nelson, also known as Justin Thomas Nelson, 42, was arrested in Loveland, Colorado, on Jan. 29 after attempting to light Teslas on fire with Molotov cocktails, prosecutors said. Nelson was later found in possession of materials used to produce additional incendiary weapons, including a container of gasoline, bottles, and wick materials, on Feb. 24, prosecutors said. This is no different from this. It's called DOMESTIC TERRORISM.

  15. Let's be clear about 1 thing: Trump's hostility towards Canada isn't a "conservative" or "Republican" phenomenon, it's an American phenomenon. The Dems and their sycophant media outlets don't give a sh1t about Canada. Who in the US is at all displeased with this "take over Canada" rhetoric? Most leftists probably don't know this, because CNN and CBC never said it, but we've had conservative leaders on both sides of the border going back generations, and this was never even on the radar when Reagan was president, Bush Sr, Dubya, Mulroney, Harper, etc. It wasn't even bandied about during Trump's first term... And despite Trump's awful rhetoric, I still haven't met any Canadian conservatives who hate Trump more than Trudeau. While it's nice to see Liberals suddenly caring about Canada, the Libs' denigration of Canadian culture over the past ten years is what made Canada look easy to take over in the first place: If a group of people no longer shares any pride in their collective identity, what's to stop them from just assimilating into a larger group? The liberals and their government were proclaiming to the world that Canada is a "post-national state", and constantly saying that being Canadian was something to be ashamed of. They even tried to make the case that we were genocidal child molesters ffs. According to leftard lore, even muslims are more tolerant towards women, gays and other religions than Canadians are. Islam is "the religion of peace!" 😂 Why would Canadians with any concern for this country at all suddenly start believing that Liberals were the ones to represent Canada now? I don't trust the LPOC any further than I can throw them all. If it came right down to it, I'd rather become an American and adopt their national identity than adopt Trudeau's vision of Canada. Hell, I'd go to war against Trudeau's Canada, in a heartbeat. If we were as bad as he made us out to be, I'd definitely sign up to fight us. And honestly, who woulda thought that Trump could make leftists hate electric cars and make Canadian liberals like Canada? He even has LIBERALS talking about the dire need for new fighter planes, protecting our northern territory, etc... Is this all some kind of joke?

  16. Remember, this is about upholding immigration law, not bending it to the woke agenda. "The White House blasted "activist" federal judges and called on the U.S. Supreme Court to rein them in on Wednesday as President Donald Trump and his allies escalated their attacks against judges who have ruled against his administration. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters it was incumbent upon the Supreme Court to take action against judges who "are acting erroneously." "We have judges who are acting as partisan activists from the bench. They are trying to dictate policy from the president of the United States. They are trying to clearly slow walk this administration's agenda, and it's unacceptable," she said." https://www.newsmax.com/politics/trump-administration-supreme-court-donald-trump/2025/03/19/id/1203563/

  17. " Move over Trudeau, Trump has a new choice to be Canada’s governor. When it comes to who President Donald J. Trump would prefer to run America’s “51st state,” he’s made it clear Prime Minister Mark Carney would get his vote as Canadians wonder when they will get a chance to cast theirs. As for Trump’s endorsement of Carney, Conservative Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre said it’s perfectly fine with him. “I’d rather deal with a Liberal than a conservative,” the U.S. President told Laura Ingraham on FOX News Tuesday. The polls, since Carney become Liberal leader on March 9, now indicate the landscape of voter support has gone from a big lead for the Conservatives to a neck and neck tie. And some polls now show the Liberals are actually surging ahead." https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/warmington-trump-prefers-to-deal-with-carney-rather-than-poilievre/ar-AA1BeRI1?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=97b5aa5b96fd480eb138a85d07c19936&ei=11 Here is your chance liberals. Choose Carney and Trump will be glad to deal with him and get you a deal. Not saying what kind of deal though. The news report on CTV just said it: Trump prefers to deal with someone who is meek and gentle towards him because he is a bully and prefers to be able to bully people into doing things his way. Carney fits that bill. Pierre Poilievre not so much. PP would stand up to Trump and Trump hates that. Do we want more of a strong guard dog to deal with a bully or a sheep dog? This is where PP's experience in fighting back against Trudeau and the Liberals in Parliament and out of Parliament will pay off.

  19. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gop-senator-says-hes-working-trump-bill-abolish-education-department GOP senator says he's working with Trump on bill to abolish Education Department FIRST ON FOX: Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D., said he has been in discussions with President Trump's White House to revive his bill to dismantle the Department of Education, which would codify the latest executive order. In the lead up to Trump's much-anticipated executive order to abolish the department, his administration had been in talks with a longtime advocate of doing so: Rounds. His office shared with Fox News Digital that the senator and Trump's White House have talked about bringing back his bill to abolish the department and pushing for it. Rounds is planning to re-introduce the bill now that Trump has signed the executive order. "The federal BUREAUCRACY of Education has never educated a single student," the senator told Fox News Digital in a statement. "It’s time to shut it down. Today’s news is a step in the right direction. Congress should follow the executive branch’s lead and act accordingly. I am working on legislation that would return education decisions to states and local school districts while maintaining important programs like special education and Title I. We are discussing this legislation with Secretary McMahon, and we believe there is a very good path forward." Points to ponder. 1. The Department Of Education was a Jimmy KKKarter gift to the Teacher's Union, in 1979. The quality of education in America has deteriorated ever since. 2. The bureaucrats at DOE are not educators. NONE of them have ever stood before a class of public school students. 3. NO STUDENTS have EVER been educated by this useless expensive department. 4. Federal Government contribution to public education amounts to less than 7 percent. Most of the funding raised for education is done at the county level, by property taxes. The DOE sends useless mandates while gum up the works at real schools. Oh, by the way, for the really sensitive types here who are easily triggered,

  32. Carney, get those Gripens! https://militarywatchmagazine.com/article/swedens-lightweight-gripene-vs-americas-stealthy-f35a-pros-cons Despite being part of a much more modest program, the Gripen retains a number of important advantages over the F-35. With the Gripen A/B having entered service in 1996, the Gripen E is based on a thoroughly tested airframe and is considered fully combat ready. The F-35 by contrast has over 800 performance issues with progress made towards solving them having been very slow. Where the Gripen is fully operational and well suited to fighting at any time, the F-35 is still limited to an initial operating capability and is poorly suited to even medium intensity combat - with the Pentagon as a result consistently refusing to approve the fighter for mass production every year. The F-35’s maintenance requirements remain very high for a single engine fighter and its availability rates low, where the Gripen is prized for its unrivalled ease of maintenance among Western fighters meaning a far larger proportion of a Gripen fleet can be kept combat ready at any time compared to an equivalent F-35 fleet. This is largely a result of its size, as while the American F-16 is considered a standard lightweight the Gripen is considered a 'very light' aircraft comparable to the cancelled American F-20 or the Chinese JF-17. While the Gripen’s small scale of production means it is not being marketed at a significantly lower price than the F-35, its operational costs are very significantly lower meaning over its lifetime a Gripen squadron will cost several billion dollars less than an F-35 squadron of the same size - depending on how frequently they fly. This could also result in Gripen pilots having more time in the air than those of the F-35.

  33. The British and Dutch East India Companies are gone too. Sears failed, Target failed here almost in an instant. As I pointed out, land values preclude a good return from a huge department store, even with small space renters like Radio Shack, the Source, Atmosphers, Rickis failing over high rents even with the Bay owning the whole mall the ROI on the property was worth more. How many highrise rental units guaranteeing >$2000 a month each could be built on that same space? HBC made a bad decision to invest more in department stores rather than oil & gas. That would've been a 'natural progression' for a fur trader.

If Americans read this summary of events in any other country we would all recognize it for what it is. ...pardoning 1,500 criminals who supported him; firing independent agency watchdogs without process; purging apolitical police and military brass; ignoring laws; and his unilaterally deleting federal programs, and even a whole organization, created by U.S. Congress. He's just called his predecessor's pardons void and vacated. He gave a bitterly partisan speech at the Department of Justice, demanding the prosecution of the media and certain adversaries. He threatened numerous universities with sanctions. He invoked a 227-year-old war measures law during peacetime — for the first time ever — to deport accused gang members without due process. And, most importantly, when that deportation plan wound up in court, he may have — although it's still in dispute — defied a court order, cracking the ultimate constitutional safeguard. Today's Republicans, however, will pretend that it's not happening. They are eagerly trading democracy to advance their agenda. They simply don't believe in America as an idea.

  43. OFFS, Worobey (who you've never heard of before yet try to dismiss as if you actually know this subject) is not the "only person" to trace the origin to multiple crossovers. There are multiple reports in the linked resource alone. Deflect as much as you want, you're trying to change a quote and lying when called out on it. Fauci said the markers are totally consistent with natural spread. The science today still says the same thing. -- The difference is that you want to spin a fiction about him saying something more definitive than that because your entire conspiracy thinking framework is predicated on the idea of a coverup. People are welcome to make up whatever theories they like, but speculation without evidence is not going to trump what the research says. Everyone should care if Fauci lied, but there's no reason to believe that he did. You simply attack him (a man with a stellar record of public service and worldwide respect) because the MAGA cult of ignoramuses decided they didn't like the information he was relaying.

  44. We should have learned something from the huge cost of maintaining, repairing, overhauling and/or buying parts etc from the experience of the CH149 Cormorant from England/Italy (Agusta/Westland) and the soon to be in service CC-295 Kingfisher from CASA in Spain. No one in Canada want so be (or can afford to set up for such small fleets)a service centre for the components of these aircraft. So, we have to continually ship them to Europe and back. While the anti American sentiment is rampant, the F35 is a far superior aircraft than the others and it's proximity to us as well as us having certain capability in Mirabel and Pratt &. Whitney in the Montreal area only makes sense. Oh and the already $19 billion spent on development makes the F35 the only real option.

  45. Do we need to review our entire defence policy including equipment in view of the new world political situation? I hope this is the conversation that is going on. Is the F-35 still our best choice for a new NATO that can't count on the US? The possibility the US might decide its interests are different or even antagonistic to the rest of NATO? Like now? The price of all these aircraft is negotiable. Member countries of the Typhoon project pay around half the export price. It will be interesting to know what Turkey is paying for them. Hungary and Czech Republic lease their Gripens.
