MAGA is one person, his name is Donald. Everything he says, MAGA shall comply, even when its an obvious lie about people stealing elections from him because his ego can't handle losing. MAGA (Donald Trump) is too stupid too consider the complexities of something like the economic impact of work visas or tarrifs. Don-Don has the attention-span of a 2-year old and certainly won't read anything about those subjects. He prefers TV, which is why his cabinet is filled with people he saw on cable TV.5 points

MAGA is a cult and Donald is their leader. Given that you aren't a "Trump supporter" you should realize this. It's very cultish of you to assume that anyone who doesn't suck Donald's testicle is a leftwinger. Yes I am dehumanizing MAGA folks because i'm calling them stupid gullible sheep, and a sheep isn't a human. Baaaaaah.1 point

Awww muffin, did you getting your nose rubbed in your own stupidity make you cranky? Sexual identity is ABSOLUTELY a political issue, and the dems in the states made it a big one for their campaign. (didn't go so well, but that's beside the point). However, even when the topic itself isn't being politicized how you allocate resources to it is. For example, people can argue whether trans should use the same bathroom as their sex or should they use the bathroom of their gender, but a municipality can consider whether to solve the issue for both sides by converting sex specific bathrooms to unisex stalls.... IF that's where they think the money is best spent. Clean parks may or may not be an issue but a homeless encampment is DEFINITELY an issue. It's unsafe, unsanitary and it denies the use of public space to others, and there's liabilities. So. How do you handle it? These are real issues. But of course being a butthurt leftie you're more concerned about appearing wrong than you are about being right. Which is why this country is in such a mess in the first place.1 point
-
So clearly you're one of those brain dead that thinks sexual identity is a political issue of the left as are clean parks, bike lanes, recycling and green spaces. Limited mind looking at the world thru a toilet paper tube no doubt?1 point

Well whether we like it or not there are biggest trading partner. If a difficult customer walks into your store but they spend a ton of money with you, sometimes you have to smile and bite your tongue and find a way to make them happy. Every business person knows that. So you do what you can. That doesn't mean you just cave to their every whim or sell your goods at a loss but it does mean that you look for ways to work with them and resolve issues and keep them spending money with you.1 point

I see you're back to your usual game of trying to change the channel. My point was I wasn't talking about your typos or my typos. And here you are talking about typos. I use voice dictation and I don't always get the time to proofread before I move on to something else so occasionally I make errors and I assume that you do too. Nobody said anything different. Which is why i said i didn't have a problem with your typos or my typos, the problem was your argument. But unfortunately you're either too stupid or too dishonest to understand that very simple concept. Not surprising. And i see you're back to spamming the board with 100's of replies rather than just doing so once per person. I'll deal with your mess here in one reply: The united states is still not the entire rest of the world which is what you tried to drag into the conversation. Nobody cares enough about you to care where you were born or where you're living now. And you were responding to my post not the original post so it's not really relevant what the original post said is it. Nice try it deflection though. Trans have their rights in Canada in the US, every bit as much as everyone else and they are certainly able to refer to themselves however they like so your attempts to pretend otherwise are a joke. And your dishonesty is factual, not derogatory. However the end of the day you have been insulting in many ways. But you think it's okay to be insulting as long as you feel the insult is acceptable. But if somebody insults you then well that's terrible. You're being insulted because you are being an insufferable and insulting twit. Do better and you'll get insulted less. But don't be insulting jerk and then complain about other people being insulting Your dismissal of people's argument as transphobic just because you cannot come up with a counter argument is both pathetic and a great example of how you like to insult people but somehow when you do it it's not an insult! Magic! And if you want to refer to the fact that nobody is buying you or complete and utter bullshit which you cannot make a rationed argument about as having reached an impasse then sure. Why not. The simple fact of the matter is you don't get to explain anything. If you want to make a statement you need to be able to defend that with logic and reason and you have utterly failed to do so. You seem to want us to agree that you are right just because you said you were right while at the same time completely ignoring the arguments that are made demonstrating that you are not right. If you can't address other people's points and simply insist that you're right and stomp your foot when others don't agree then I'm afraid you're going to have to learn to live with impasses in your life. The fault there is on you for not being able to make a good argument, not with others for not agreeing with your lack of argument. And of course I know that tranny is a word that is often thought of as derogatory. CIS is often thought of as derogatory and it's certainly used in that way. Yet for some reason you are deeply offended if somebody says tranny, but if somebody suggests that you shouldn't be using the word cis You laugh and blow them off and tell them that their opinions and feelings are not relevant. Dude. You are a dishonest person making a dishonest argument and you are a complete and utter hypocrite. That and that alone is why you are getting nowhere in your discussions with other people. Of course people who actually think are going to hold you in contempt I look down on you and your arguments. I don't know what your goal in coming here was, but if it was to severely torpedo the transgender movement and convince a bunch of people that sympathy and empathy towards the transgender community is misplaced because this is a hostile relationship and trannies will never respect your rights, then well done. Because that is indeed what you have achieved1 point

Look at your own post from right above this one, dummy. You're trying to portray yourself as an educated, driven professional and yet the best retort that you can come up with is ghetto-slander like "That’s why you got nothing to say but insults." 😂 Your whole post there^ is just a bunch of snotty, out-of-touch insults in pidgin English. We both know that it's the leftists among us who are known for letting their emotions overwhelm their logical thought processes. Look at the M brown riots, and the G Floyd riots... Two prime examples of dumb, violent criminals being the architects of their own demise, and then CNN and the Dems using those tragedies to lead hundreds of thousands of emotionally charged imbeciles around by the nose. Those angry imbeciles are your fellow Demi voters, Beave. In fact, they're the ones driving your short bus. They said and did all the really stupid things, and then it was people like you that were stupid enough to believe in their "mostly peaceful protests" BS. 😂 Buddy, you're just a low-IQ, low-income laugh track and nothing that you say is clever, insightful, poignant, intelligent or honest. You're sad, insipid and intellectually inferior by any reasonable measure. Go cling to your mama's skirt now little boy. I'm done with you.1 point

So, my take on this from what I understand personally and have heard from others. Indian tech workers? They suck. Yes, I'm generalizing, so sue me. The quality of education in Indian tech schools lags far behind western universities. It's all rote learning with no imagination. Indians who come to Canada and the US to work at tech firms will indeed work their asses off. Because they have to just to keep up with Americans/Canadians. That doesn't mean a small number aren't incredibly talented, of course. But overall, their coding is mediocre and full of bugs. They need explicit, exact instructions on what is wanted, and close supervision, because if they run up against anything where a decision needs to be made, where an alternative path is required, they freeze. They haven't been trained to have nimble minds. They will also cheat like hell, scavaging information from others or sabotaging their work, or sending their problems back to India for someone there to work on for pennies. They suck up to the boss but will stab colleagues in the back at the first opportunity. It's all a scramble, to get ahead, to get more money, and there are no morals or ethics involved. They'll do whatever they think will work. This is why guys like Musk and Ramaswamy like them. They're way cheaper, work like dogs, and act like they're super eager to please whenever the boss wanders by. Weekends? Holidays? They'll work and get no overtime and be happy about it (or fake it). Is this good for the company? Perhaps. Is it good for the country? Nope. Who wants to live in a society like that?1 point

Simplest fact is the leaders of the three opposition parties now say they do not have confidence in the government. That means when a vote is held, the government will be defeated in a non-confidence motion. However, since the three parties now have no confidence in the government, the fact remains that the government no longer has the confidence of Parliament because they are a minority and the three parties are the majority. The government should do the decent thing and face it by recalling Parliament and accepting the outcome.1 point

Hunter confirmed all of this at the hearings. Of course, he said that Joe and Li only shook hands in a rope line and it was all very innocent. But that's how the grift worked. The way Joe was separated, and was able to have plausible deniability, went like this: 1. Hunter finds a mark. Someone needing a favor from the US government. 2. Hunter introduces the mark to Joe (rope line handshake, phone call at dinner, actual dinner, etc) 3. The mark is convinced that Hunter can deliver. 4. Hunter negotiates a deal, funnels the money through dummy Corps, and pays the big guy. Maybe I can find the video later. But there was a video of Joe glad handing people at a fundraiser. Hunter can be seen lurking near by. When one guy mentions doing business with Joe, Hunter swoops in and takes the guy out of ear shot of the camera and can been seen having a discussion in the distance. Joe pretended to know nothing.1 point

Oopsie, no bait and switches please The lack of progression of achievements on an established path does not mean that there aren't still recognizable qualifications. It just means that there may be different collections of qualifications which could result in the same thing. Those qualifications may be direct or even indirect. Kamala had no qualifications with whatsoever. And you know who else didn't think so? Democrats, when they shot her down for her run for the presidency in 2019 Each of trump's appointees has the experience and background to give him belief that they will be able to do the job he wants them to do. That is very different than Kamala1 point

Agree with it or not it wasn’t a power grab but what governments of all political stripes around the world thought was right based on the advice of non-political experts and those restrictions ended once they felt they were no longer needed Conservatives OTOH force ideology down others throats. I mentioned a long list already. Let’s add Doug Ford’s attempt to use the notwithstanding clause just for some minor tinkering with Toronto city hall composition based on some personal pet theory of his that turned out to be a failure. Another example of the willingness to use the constitutional nuclear option for trivial matters. Wah wah conservatives pass laws too. Republicans came up withe Patriot Act amd had people abducted and flown to torture sites all over the world, spied on people who rightly criticized their bogus lies on invading Iraq. Republicans passed laws to prevent milk producers saying “hormone free” and subjected others to compelled speech forcing them to say there’s nothing wrong with with having artificial hormones in milk. Republicans repeal laws that prevent financial advisors from ripping off their clients and allow polluters to poison citizens with impunity. Republicans have regulated everything from banning baggy pants to the books in libraries. They tried to make it an act of of terrorism to film animal abuse in slaughterhouses. And you have Ron De Santis weaponing the state against Disney because they dared to publicly criticize him, ripping up Reedy Creek and threatening to surround Disney with toll roads and prisons. Snitch lines for teachers, forced religious education, forcing schools to out up religious signage, Republicans are heavy handed. What about Chris Christie Fort Lee bridge scandal? He shut down a town’s main thoroughfare for days without warning for no reason but to cause major traffic jams as punishment voting Democrat in a recent election. People couldn’t get to work or school or the hospital emergency services were screwed You mention citizens United as if that’s a good thing. A corporatist Republican backed court ruling that gave corporations the right to make unlimited campaign control to politicians on the basis the corporations are people and their campaign contributions are protected free speech. That is the biggest monster in the swamp and a direct threat to democracy. When Republicans say they oppose laws and regulations they only oppose barriers to unfettered corporate rule. For decades the Republicans have operated ALEC, where republicans from every level of government across the country literally meet with corporations that dictate legislation to them. The corporations literally ghostwrite the bills for them. One republican stupidly introduced a bill into his stat legislature written on the corporate letterhead And then of course you have Trump trying to outright steal the 2020 election that’s about as authoritarian as it gets1 point

It is amazing how you guys have no memory for the recent past. Hello Pandemic. Some of the most gross abuse of power we have witnessed in this generation by those on the left. Lets review all the other ways you guys on the left support leftist authoritarianism when it comes to government controls over every aspect of our lives with more regulations, bigger government, more meddling government, controls over speech, pushing more restrictions on speech from citizens united to so-called hate speech and how those on the left abused government power to pressure private business to silence people.1 point

I love that the left winger is going to define maga Generally speaking it appears vastly more accurate to say that 'maga' supporters are results driven. The right in general tends towards meritocracy. People who get crap done are thought well of and people who fail to get crap done or just spout empty promises are not thought well of. And that's true if the guy is a plumber or a tech Giant.1 point

1. So the nasty comment tells me that you're already afraid of the weakness of your argument. In fact, you provide an article that describes lobbying efforts, but doesn't that doesn't mean anything about aggressiveness. 2. Again, your argument is weak. Says nothing about a global agenda and your your claim about us policy is vague and not supported by anything. Substantial that you posted in this post. 3. But you did condone violence.
