  1. He didn't hold the position he was awarded? What the f(ck are you talking about, son? Walz served as sergeant major and that was his rank at the time of his retirement in 2005. After he retired, it was retroactively reverted back to master sergeant. Therefore it is not a lie to say he "retired as a sergeant major" because that was the rank he held when he retired regardless of what paperwork got filed afterwards.

  7. The Minnesota National Guard confirmed Wednesday that Gov. Tim Walz, Kamala Harris' vice presidential running mate, was demoted and did not retire as a command sergeant major like he has claimed for years, including on his official gubernatorial biography. Huh...so JD says Walz didn't go to a conflict area, despite Walz suggesting he did. CNN confirmed that Vance was right. Now Walz is confirmed to have been demoted because he didn't complete the course work for his promotion. I heard someone say today that picking Walz was done to help Harris lose, not help her win.

  9. OK, how many American politicians have slave owners in their ancestry? Quite a few is my guess. You can count the descents of 12 presidents, including 4 who were founding fathers, plus Benjamin Franklin. You wear your racism on your sleeve.

  10. BTW some people are whining they can't get small trucks like in the 12970s and 80s. Because none of the Big Three build them. Their small trucks are as big as my old F100. And you still pay a 25% Chicken Tax to keep them out, even though no one here makes or even wants to make them!

  11. Ya, her ancestors over 190 years ago. The horror!! How many white politicians in the US have slave owners in their families less than that long ago?

  17. Yes, this is another big nothing. I would disagree though that it's increasingly difficult to find real information. There is an almost endless amount of real information. Instead, what is happening is that in the age of content algorithms it is becoming ever easier for false information to find you. People are unwittingly fed a heavy mix of facts and fictions that aligns to their interests, and they don't have the ability to tell one from the other. It's not strictly a partisan issue, but it's a problem that's more prevalent on the political right. We have a couple of generations who grew up on the Dewey decimal system instead of the Internet, and they generally have no idea how to vet and evaluate information in the wild--no natural immunity. And then the less educated among us often didn't learn or practice critical thinking. Again, no hard line, but speaking generally it correlates with education. And both of those demographic segments break right, so the problem is worse on the right. This has been the case as long as I've been on the Internet. Conservatives (especially older conservatives) were constantly falling for and re-posting crazy chain emails that they were all sending to one another. We see a slightly more modern version now, with conservatives here re-posting weird, unvetted, random shit from Twitter and YouTube. They don't know how to evaluate a story or claim, but if it aligns with their interests, they're going to share it anyway. Also not just a problem in North America. In India, for example, What'sApp is ubiquitous. It's how everyone connects, and older Indians drive the younger generations batty by believing and sharing every crazy thing that comes though. No natural immunity to the polluted information ecosystem.

  18. Cori Bush loses St. Louis primary in race defined by Israel criticism (usatoday.com) Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., suffered a bruising defeat in her St. Louis district on Tuesday night, becoming the second member of the progressive group of House lawmakers known as “the Squad” to lose a Democratic primary to a more moderate opponent this year. People are done with the woke. The squad is going down in flames and it doesn't bode well for kamala, who's already adopted some of their unsuccessful tactics

  22. that is very obviously the case. The tax is no where near revenue neutral and as long as it keeps increasing it's the ultimate pyramid scheme. As long as it keeps going up every year they're giving rebates based on LAST year's rate THIS year - but collecting THIS year's rate now. So even if they give it all back which they don't the difference between the years stays in the liberals pockets permanently. AND they charge GST on the tax as well so as it goes up their gst revenues go up right along with it. And best of all, the stupid people out there think the gov't is somehow GIVING Them money!!!!! The gov't takes 20 bucks, and then months later it's like "Hey i hear you're struggling, here's 15 dollars for being a great climate person". "Oh wow, thanks man I really needed it, times are sure tough!" "Yeah well vote liberal, we're the only ones who give you free money".

  29. The Nazis require proof that none of your four grandparents were Jewish, or else you went to the concentration camps. They did not give Jews the opportunity to convert to Christianity. The Jews were clearly treated as a race. Your petty distinction between “race” and “ethnicity” is irrelevant.

  31. LMAOOOOOO Right that's why he was constantly referring to "the Jewish race" According to Hitler, Marxism was a Jewish strategy to subjugate Germany. Alfred Rosenberg, the considered one of the main authors of key Nazi ideology, said Bolshevism was "the revolt of the Jewish, Slavic and Mongolian races against the German (Aryan) element in Russia". That's racism you retarded baboon. No you dipshit, in the Nazi worldview Jews and Aryan were completely separate categories. You couldn't be a Jewish Aryan. They systematically murdered like 8 million people because of their racial beliefs you jizzrag. Its amazing you can be this wrong about something as extensively documented and as central as Hitler and the Nazis' views on race lol, no hope for you.

  32. First it takes the ability to distinguish between a baby and a fetus. Second it takes a lot of gall for a man to demand he rule on what a woman can do. Third it takes a special kind of stupid to take moral opinions of someone who repeatedly espouses his Christianity but shows none of it at all.

  33. Identity politics. Not worth the time of day. Imagine somebody posts a story about an asexual somewhere who parks illegally. The collective response should be to ignore, or at most to ask "why do we care ?"

  34. I did basically answer your comments. You just didn't read and absorb it. You like to post lists of numbered comments that don't really address things. You claim globally it causes temperature to change. But that is very broad unproven claim. I gave you a clear reason why it is unlikely human emissions will have any affect on changing atmospheric temperature changes, but you ignored it. Again the amount man emits and the miniscule amount Canada emits will likely have no affect on climate change. There are most likely other causes of climate change but the U.N. and liberal-left loves to blame man for everything as if man is god. It is Mother Earth worship and part of it is to blame man for everything bad. Again you repeat the same nonsense about Canada emitting more than some other small country. Canada only emits 1.5% of global man-made fossil emissions. Why do you not understand that?
