Let me ask you something: Let’s say your a Canadian trucker, protesting in the streets of Ottawa, standing peacefully among a crowd of other truckers in the street, and some liberal motherfcker drives his car straight at you, barely misses you, then jumps out of his car carrying a gun? Is THAT GUY defending himself against YOU, or are YOU defending yourself against HIM? On top of that, the guy had just texted his buddy, saying that he was going to go out and kill one of those truckers. Who is the attacker and who is the defender?3 points

Several Democrats have claimed that the Supreme Court’s conservative majority is “out of control” after a second flag carried by January 6 rioters was seen flying outside Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s house. Mr Alito is facing further backlash following revelations that an “Appeal to Heaven” flag was flown outside his New Jersey vacation home on multiple occasions during the summer of 2023. It comes just a week after an upside down American flag – synonymous with “Stop the Steal” protests – was discovered outside Mr Alito’s Virginia home weeks after the Capitol riots on January 6, 2021. My gawd. These people are pure more-ons. First, flying Old Glory upside down is a signal that was used (before radios) to indicate the military was in serious trouble. Since, it has become a symbol that the nation is in trouble. Alito, almost certainly, flew the flag upside down because he was pissed about J6. Second, the appeal to heaven flag was commissioned to represent the writings of John Locke. John Locke was the philosopher that was heavily relied upon in designing the principles of our Constitution. Locke considered nations to be accountable to God. During the revolution, the flag was used as a symbol of defiance to the oppressive, authoritarian King. So these more-ons have unwittingly supported J6 and authoritarian governments.2 points

You're talking about people being bamboozled now? 🤣 That's pretty rich coming from a little snake-oil addict like yourself. Do you still believe that the bat-pangolin human origin is the only real possibility, and that people should be banned from social media for saying "Wuhan BSL4 lab"? Do you still believe that the jabs were safe? Do you still believe that you don't have to worry about covid if you're jabbed? Do you still believe that you don't have to worry about giving covid to granny if you're jabbed? Guess how many young people were killed by ivermectin, dummy... Guess how many young people got myocarditis from ivermectin... To this day you've still never confessed to which level of vax-propaganda/drivel you're stuck at... Even if ivermectin is completely useless against covid, at least our gov't didn't waste billions of dollars on it, just to injure/kill people who didn't need it, right dummy?2 points

As if firing “the Head of the Bank,” who has much more important things to deal with, over such a trivial and unimportant issue would be an intelligent move . That would be a major disruption to one of the major institutions that stabilizes the economy over something inconsequential and stupid. Thats like telling an airline pilot mid-flight that if he doesn’t ensure your airline food is warmed up in 5 minutes he’d better grab a parachute and bail out. 90% of Canadians couldn’t give a rats ass about royal portraits or images especially the ones hanging in buildings they will never visit, much less the timeline for when they’re updated. Most wouldn’t spend a a dime of taxpayer money on it.2 points

1. Ok - so if you can't find cites, then you should at least admit to having a faulty memory sometimes right ? I found you 3 posts where I expressed sympathy for the Convoy members. 2. 3. Ok. Well I already found some cites showing a memory gap, and as such I can only ask that you keep an open mind as to your impressions. I'm not going to go find cites to convince you, though. You seem nice enough, so I am holding out hope that people on here can disagree and - very occasionally - not need to fill in gaps with negative memories/impressions just because. 4. I hear it's nice outside but I have been in my basement office all day I should go out... maybe I will. Cheers.1 point

Here's why you should pay more attention to me: From your link: When you click on the link, you get this: The reason the link (and your article) is "not correct or out-of-date" is because AS I TOLD YOU AND LINKED YOU TO - the FDA and CDC recently lost a court case against the FLCCC Frontline doctors who sued them over their misinformation about Ivermectin and won. The FDA and CDC were ordered to remove the misinformation. That article was also debunked in my Trickle thread.1 point

No, you are hostile to Christianity and the Bible. You proved it by all of your comments. Dougie93 has it right on his comment about the Monarchy. quote the effect of erasing Canadian history to include the monarchy has simply been a void that void was not filled with a liberal democratic republic instead the void has been filled by the American Woke cultural revolution every institution in the land has fallen to this godless atheist Marxist Leninist ideology literally the revolutionary overthrow of Canada from within public officials no longer adhere to the Constitution Act therein, to include failing to uphold their solemn oaths of allegiance the practical outcome is increasing chaos, the breakdown of the rule of law itself while the government destroys the economy in the name of what is in essence Communism unquote Liberalism, Socialism, Wokism, Progressivism are all anti-Christianity and anti-Bible. You in opposing speaking about Christianity and the Bible are a pure anti-Christian. Islamic republics also forbid any religion except Islam and outlaw speaking or preaching about Christianity or the Bible. That is what you are trying to do here. Your reveal yourself as anti-freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Canada is being destroyed by anti-Christian/anti-Bible people. These people act like Communists and try to silence everyone they disagree with. Canada IS becoming worse under these anti-Christian leaders. Assisted suicide has been gradually expanded and is considering offering it to people who suffer from depression or mental challenges and extending it to include youth. Very tragic. Canada has no moral foundation. You support self choice for assisted suicide and abortion which proves you should not be taken seriously or listened to. Your beliefs are totally contrary to the historic Judeo-Christian civilization and culture and against what God has taught us in the Bible about the sanctity of life. Human life belongs to God and only he decides when someone dies a natural death. As for the bad things that happened in the past centuries, I already explained in other posts that was the corrupt, false religion of Rome that oversaw all that. They are not Biblical Christianity. They do not follow the Bible. So they are no example of what is right or wrong for a country. We have lots of them ruling Canada which is also another problem. Unrepentant sinners who do not repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ are on the way to hell. That is what the Bible teaches.1 point

Not to mention all the commentary they made at the time. "Protests are SUPPOSED to make people uncomfortable". "it's MOSTLY peaceful". etc etc. The problem is their supporters don't call them on it. Their supporters believe whatever they heard in the last 5 minutes and don't take anything else to the consideration. So if the democrats say "This thing is wonderful" today, and then say "This thing is terrible" tomorrow then in their mind there's absolutely no problem with that. They will scream and shout about how terrible it is in the first case and the next day join in with the cheers about how wonderful it is. So the democrats know that all they need to do is lie today and regardless of what was said yesterday or tomorrow there people will support them.1 point

It's interesting you choose to highlight the AZ vaccine. The side effects were made very clear with this shot. . My first shot was the AZ vaccine as it was the only available for my age group. I had some anxiety about getting it it. As an aside, the hysteria around this was really unfortunate in hindsight. I see my Facebook posts from the time and the media did really create a sense of dread of this disease. April 2021 was a crazy time. But regardless, the AZ shot was quickly done away with. The mRNA shots became the shots everyone would get going forward. The ones that your friends still call experimental gene therapy. But evidence shows they were clearly the safer shot.1 point

I was expecting the worst from Doug Ford, even though I voted for him. After his crackhead brother made a joke out of Toronto, it disgusted me that this was the best the PC could muster to go against the worst government Ontario has probably ever had. He has far exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations. PP is also doing a decent job of discrediting himself. As others have said, a dog (or @Army Guy's pet hamster) would do a better job than Trudeau running the country, and probably beat him in an election. I think the low IQ slogans, BSing and annoying-shrill routine is unnecessary, and doing him more harm than good for anything but his base. Most Canadians dislike him, his credibility rating is almost as low as Trudeau's, and he's doing it all to himself. A Harper or Doug Ford approach would be a bigger winning ticket, in my mind. Just be a reasonable, adult alternative, and Trudeau's continuing implosion will hand you a majority. Don't be a Tim Hudak and go out of your way to lose an unlosable election.1 point

Therein is the dichotomy of Canadian politics. Scandals don't matter if you like the guy. Similarly, we toss out scandal-free (or almost) leaders like PMs Harper and Martin pretty easily. But anyway, as you are all saying, at this point in history having a vision is the most important thing. PP might have it, but he's not talking about it so much... yet. His fans on here don't seem to think that it's important - I had a thread where some suggested he just needs to cut the Carbon Tax, CBC and some civil servants and we'll be ok.1 point

Friendly fire is something that unfortunately happens in most wars. But friendly fire is very different from one side using their own people as human shields. It's been pointed out that during WW2 the Einsatzgruppen often numbed themselves with alcohol before executing civilians, Hamas of today LIVESTREAMED what they did on Oct 7. They were proud of what they were doing, and they wanted the world to see it. What does that tell you about Hamas?1 point

A. False, Perry drove through a red light to get into the crowd. B. He was not detained by foster. Foster was beside the car and Perry rolled down his window to take to him. C. Doesn't matter. A jury of his peers found him guilty--and it wasn't hard given the evidence. This pardon is just spiteful culture-war politics. Abbot is releasing a murderer (and groomer) into society to cynically burnish his culture warrior credentials. Again, false. Per witness accounts and Perry's own account “I believe he was going to aim it at me,” said Perry, “I didn’t want to give him a chance to aim at me, you know.”1 point

Although wildly off topic (and admittedly not comparable in substance), I found the "Hunter Biden laptop "Russian disinformation" saga analogous for three reasons: first it shows what can be accomplished when the media and national security forces (in this case intelligence) are aligned with, and weaponized by, a motivated government. Secondly, it serves as an example of how long it takes to sort through the trail of deception (usually two years or more). And thirdly, by the time the trail is uncovered and documented voters (mostly) don't remember and/or don't care anymore... The people doing this aren't dummies, they carefully analyze the cost / benefit ratio before any action is taken and plausible deniability (at all levels) is anticipated in advance. It's done in "bite size chunks" and each chunk (on its own) doesn't initially appear to be part of the same zebra that's being systematically devoured by a pride of ravenous lions. You have to reassemble the pieces... it takes time, effort, a box of rubber gloves and nose plugs to accomplish. All of that simply to say, that like some of the more liberal posters here, I was intrigued by the motivations of the 50 (or so) analysts who cosigned the document asserting that the laptop (and information contained) was "clearly" a Russian disinformation effort intended to effect the election outcome. I questioned how and why it could possibly be. But suspecting that it was the exact opposite of what was on offer, I went looking for the names and bios of the analysts, their likely motivations for making the assertion, and the markers/evidence that lead them to do so. It was another example of "thirsty work" and limited search skills on my part. I got nowhere with it and abandoned the chase after a bit but it does show how easily it was deployed, how effectively it was communicated and how fleeting voter interest in the deception was. It seems to me that it serves as the perfect example of a well thought out cost/benefit analysis and I can only say "well done." When considering the ease of deployment vs the difficulty of disproving/overcoming it, the NS wolf hoax (accidental deployment by reservists) is instructive... and IMO, cute and funny. But that's just me. Done purely by accident, it was harder to undo and more embarrassing than you would think if viewed as a hypothetical before the fact. Bogus stationary and recorded wolf howls (on a loudspeaker) had greater deployment efficacy than anyone could have reasonably anticipated in advance. That said the effects were certainly limited in both scope and duration but if carefully fed and left to fester, it would have been fun to see how long its legs could have grown. In this case it's noteworthy that that the provincial government shut down all rumours immediately and the media was in lockstep with them. In short, deployment efficacy requires all members of the trinity (government, media and security forces) to be onside. Taking one of those entities out of the equation results in the total collapse of the 3 legged stool that the deception sits on.1 point

As I indicated, you clearly didn't know what this case is even about. There isn't really a question of whether the SC map was gerrymandered. That wasn't at question. It's legal in SC to Gerry mander on a partisan basis. And there is no federal law against it. But there is a federal law against drawing the map to disadvantage minorities--which is still a sore point in the South especially. Other courts acknowledged that race was a factor in the Republican SC redistricting process. This decidedly partial SCOTUS moved the goal post in an improbable way to issue this majority opinion. Whether you can rationalize that decision or not, isn't really relevant. The fact is that the gerrymandered (anti-democratic) may remains in place.1 point

Now you just have to prove the allegations you made but as I pointed out you can't. Most economists and central bankers predicted rates staying rock bottom until late 2023. Whether it happened in 2022 or 2023 isn't material in the context of long-term government bonds. A 2020 long-term government of Canada bond was a contract that would not only pay you in urine, but also punch you in the dick and guarantee you double-digit capital losses in the short/near term. I'm not going to get in anyone's way criticizing dear Justin for torching our public finances, but the idea that the government blew it by not re-organizing most of its debt to long-term, almost interest-free bonds is based on the fantasy of non-existent lenders prepared to throw their money away.1 point

Well this is it, Dougie. It’s either become a second rate US protectorate as a republic, break up into smaller nations, become a China-led UN jurisdiction post-national state, or assert our bicultural, bilingual traditional identity. The multicultural experiment of Pierre Trudeau has become our undoing, because we went from accepting other cultures within a Canada dominated by French and English with close ties to these roots to a rejection of those founding cultures, deprecating them as settler-colonial, even as we amp up immigration from continents other than Europe as never before. Even the Indigenous are struggling to maintain identities under this inundation.1 point

Unfortunately the electorate are forgetting just how valuable Canada’s roots are. Canada happened in a particular context and inherited institutions and traditions that put her on solid foundations. The pushers of Post-National State or UN rule don’t understand that the values underlying Canada are her strength. This is not China or Venezuela. Continuing to cook up Marxist redistribution programs and anti-family policies will eventually result in a failed state, because few people will care about a place that offers no good guidance, let alone defend it militarily. Trudeau’s government has called Canada genocidal (it isn’t) and has attacked its founding cultures. Of course many people don’t care about having King Charles on our bills because they don’t understand that it was the Royal Engineers who laid out our cities and the Royal Navy who settled them, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who policed the country and the British Parliamentary system that governed it. They don’t understand the very specific conditions of Loyalists building the farmsteads in Ontario and New Brunswick and throughout the early settlements. Why would this government who is in the business of making Canadians hate their first Prime Minister honour the builders of the CP railroad that settled the West? All we get is toxic propaganda about the “settler colonialists”, which is why our universities are full of ignorant radicals supporting Hamas. Much of our honour as a people lies in our valiant military history. Our Parliament is a veritable WW1 museum. Our role fighting Nazism in Europe in WW2 was significant. Our peacekeeping arose out of our reputation as honest brokers. If people don’t think that’s tied to our cultural history, they are sadly mistaken and will throw away Canada’s honour quickly.1 point

The advantage of the Constitutional Monarch is the armed forces and the RCMP swear allegiance to the monarch and this prevents a would-be little tin-pot dictator from seizing absolute power and setting up a Communist or Fascist dictatorship like north Korea or Cuba or China and eliminating all human rights and freedoms. We have an elected Parliament now and supposed to have human rights although at times it is not perfect. But if you get rid of the Constitutional Monarch you could be setting yourself up for an absolute dictatorship because the barrier to protect from that would be gone. Many simple-minded people don't understand that.1 point
