  1. 99% of people protesting in these rallies are protesting war itself. the undue suffering of the people of Palestine or for the right of the Palestinian people to determine their own future. Only the alarmist blockheads insist are portraying all of them as pro Hamas. They're college and university students more educated and aware than most of you that Hamas and Netanyahu's govt are obstinate arseholes.

  2. I can't understand why so many people casually dismiss what Hamas did on Oct 7 with a 'so what?' attitude. They say, no proof of atrocities! Fact is, the footage that Hamas took(they were PROUD of it) was shown to select journalists in the misguided hope that maybe this time, Hamas would not win the war of public opinion. Wrong, Hamas is winning the war of public opinion. Lot's of gullible people around these days. https://www.ynetnews.com/article/s1gwdnawt

Canada is a monarchy under the rule of the British Crown thus, there is no American style first amendment in Canada free speech in Canada is constrained by the constitutional mandate to maintain the King's Peace therein note that the person arrested is not even a Canadian, but rather an American citizen residing in Canada welcome to British North America God save the King

  4. Good question, maybe it's the reaction (inflammatory response) in susceptible individuals caused by the SP itself after being conveyed by the LNP's. Perhaps it occurs after repeated exposures "in the wild," something akin to repeated injections of insect venom in a person susceptible to such things. Anyway, as I mentioned before, my day one (grade 13 biology) question was always about LNPs acting as the conveyer of a SP that was already deemed to be toxic. The very presence of LNPs in that context would have been sufficient for an otherwise quiet student to raise his hand and pose a hypothetical during classroom discussions on the circulatory system. I haven't followed the discussion here (if I can call it that) much so I'm not sure if you've looked into the SV40 promoter and its possible effect on tumour resistance... apparently it binds to the P53 gene which itself suppresses tumour development. I only became interested in this particular bunny hole recently, after hearing people talk about "turbo cancer" and having acquaintances with aggressive forms of cancer being "too late for treatment" at the first presentation of symptoms. I haven't had time to look into it much yet (too busy with construction stuff) but it's the discrepancy between what Health Canada is saying about it publicly and their internal interest in the subject that intrigues me a bit. Anyway, as a complete aside, when it comes to trolling on this particular thread I would simply take these folks at their word when they say things like: We post only to wind them up and...it works so good and is so easy and so much fun. LOL I have no answers myself (just questions) and as a result of that I'm more interested in the views of people who are actively searching for the truth than the doctrinal position of those who say they've already found it. Throw ridicule and sarcasm into the mix and the datalink stream (with me) gets instantly severed. As far as I'm concerned they can revert to "return home" programming on their own with my compliments. There's a UAV/UAS (aviation) reference for those so inclined. Cheers.

  5. US President Joe Biden has called Japan and India "xenophobic", grouping them together with Russia and China as countries that "don't want immigrants". What a freaking more_on. This after he "denounced" the antisemitic riots at Columbia, UCLA and GW by saying Islamophobia is bad too. His priorities are all wrong.

  6. We have a radical democracy. Will Trump voters destroy it? I'm guessing too many HERE will NOT, but fortunately many of them are Canadian and cannot vote for Trump. LMAO

  7. In between when though? You guys were practically subscribing to hindsight while they were still using excavators to keep up with the dead. It was obvious in March 2020 the US right wing was already off the tracks and willing to take everyone over the cliff with them.

  11. 1. Yes, he was saying he didn't want Obama to succeed in making government bigger... 2. Yeah, it might improve some lives if Obama crashed a train killing thousands. Are we wrong to want him to fail? 3. Rush did not say he wanted the country to fail... you are extrapolating more than was said 4. No, failure means fail to implement. You are once again extrapolating more than was said in trying to say he opposed the good goals being achieved... 5. So, moving forward, you will no longer express any opinions on this forum against any particular policies, because doing so means you are opposed to *GASP* my god, your being wrong? Well, seeing as you have already been fabricating more things than were ever said to argue against, I imagine you can take this conversation a lot of places.

  12. Then you win. But at least you're engaging with them and not saying they should be deported or "stamped out" as some on here do.

  13. 1. I guess it is context. But he simultaneously states that Obama's approach is flawed yet acknowledging the possibility of success by "wishing" failure. Ok. 2. But... they might improve lives. It's at least possible. 3. No - I mean success by political opponents sometimes means better lives for all. Patriotism is not wanting your party to succeed but for the country to. This is elementary. 4. That is exactly what failure means, the program fails to achieve goals which are ostensibly to improve things. 5. But if they succeed, my god... that could mean you were wrong? Is there anywhere else for this conversation to go ? I don't see it.
    1 point
  14. 1. 2. Because success implies improvement of lives for our nation? 3. Exactly as you say, it was seen as a left-wing thing to oppose anti-patriotism. Your views support my point. You would be happy for things to go downhill if it hurts your political opponents. That's not a patriotic viewpoint at all.

  17. I love how you fast forward Beyond asking me if I want a foreign leader to be elected or not. I really am not invested in this the way you are, and if you don't believe that you shouldn't talk to me. As for who's going to set things right, of course I would want both of them to succeed at that. That. Why wouldn't I? It's strange to vote for your country or Ally to fail. Rush Limbaugh said publicly that he wanted Obama to fail. He was barely called out on that, certainly not by his fans. These are the people that call themselves patriots by the way.

  18. We post Health Canada's own inconvenient facts and stats here, and people like you just deny everything and call everyone conspiracy theorists, etc. You and eyeball are still stuck at "Kids and young adults need a vax to protect them from covid, no one was forced to take the vax, the vaxes are safe and effective, you can't spread covid if you're vaxed, covid can't kill you if you're vaxed", etc, and the rest of us are trying to talk around you. Honestly, can you explain where you stand on all of the above statements? Of course you can't, because that would be an admission that basically everything that you've ever said here has now been proven false.

  19. I'm Canadian and I liked the last president. In fact, most of the Canadians I know want him back in power. You've lost Mike. Trump will return to set things right in the USA and Polievre will take power here and set things right.

  20. We're dealing with people with an agenda, who say what they want to say, regardless of what they know to be true. These are people who said "There's no inflation", "The vaccine is 100% safe and it protects me from covid, but unvaxed people can still carry covid and it might kill me", "The protests are mostly peaceful", "The Afghanistan withdrawal was a huge success", "Jussie Smollett is still a victim, even if the attack on him never really occurred", "Trump referred to immigrants as animals", etc, etc. You can show them all the facts you want, the Black Dogs of this world are unaffected by truth. It's not what motivates them.

  25. No, the corruption Trudeau was investigated for was always his fault but I don't recall any charges, trial, conviction or punishment. The way you're exaggerating the harsh treatment he was subjected to almost sounds like you're defending the poor guy. I can see why you wouldn't want more transparency for anyone else Parliament. It wouldn't be fair.

  26. It's not even confirmation bias at this point - it's full on self delusion to the point where it detaches his mind from reality and fact and creates this little bubble of un-reality for him to live in where all his socialistic ideals still haven't been proven wrong. In his world, the sky is polka-dot if that's what it takes for his echo chamber thoughts to be true

  27. So genuine in their loving peaceful hearts that they won't allow Jews to walk across their own campus, which they have illegally occupied and set up barricades to keep the Jews and other "unwanteds" out. Ironic. So much peace and love happening right now. It's the 60's all over again really. Yeah I know they are genuinely upset at what's happening in Gaza. They just need to obey the law and respect people's human rights while they protest, which is what I said the convoy truckers should have done too, and I also called for the truckers' arrests due to their illegal actions too even though I support their anti-mandate cause 110%.
    1 point
  28. 1. Yes the university protests are largely about divestment, and while protesting they are occupying and blocking off parts of campus property (which they don't own) from Jewish students, and harassing Jewish students. A simple twitter search will reveal many examples. How many do you need, I can post them all day: 2. This is a strawman, do not mis-state my opinions because it helps your argument. I've never labelled one "side" as "correct". I have acknowledged and condemned all the bad things the IDF has done, like allegedly denying food aid, and building settlements in the West Bankand have said that all of the allegations of war crimes and genocide should be investigated by the ICF, and I have also made a specific point to not paint all the pro-Palestinians with the same brush, hence the language you don't like ("most", "a lot of..."). The only "sides" here are the ones who are for and against basic human rights. And there's a hell of a lot of pro-Palestine protestors singing "From the river to the sea..." and doing all sorts of other nonsense. I'm not saying "all Arabs/pro-Palestinians" are bad, I have Arab/Muslim friends, i'm saying all of the a-holes who are doing/saying a-hole things are bad. 3. There isn't just a few pro-Palestinian protestors here and there chanting "From the river to the sea...". This is their freaking slogan. You're not objective, you're either grossly uninformed on what's going on or you're another typical progressive with racist politically correct double-standards too trapped in your white shame/guilt to have the courage to call out people on their nonsense if they happen to have skin colour darker than yours. If a bunch of white Trumpsters were protesting/occupying campuses and harassing/blocking Muslims from classes and parts of campus and calling for the destruction of every Muslim country and glorifying & cheering the murder/rape of innocent Muslim civilians while marching in front of Parliament you'd be all over them calling them Nazi chuds etc, and you'd be right. So what about the Islamo-Nazis?

  29. unlike other issues in life.. survey data overwhelmingly shows that what folks wanted was for it to be over with. As soon as mandates were lifted.. it stopped being the lead story. The same occurred at my office. We went from producing a flood of covid-era data such as initial claims by week, continued claims by week, etc. to ceasing production in one week. When the mandates were in place, the unemployment insurance claim data was massive and front and center unlike non-covid times.

  30. His confirmation bias is next-level. He committed to memory all of Fauci's claims of vax-induced herd immunity, the jabs being safe and effective, preventing hospital visits, and preventing the spread, and they'll be burned in his memory until the day he dies, but he can't for the life of him remember anything inconvenient from yesterday.

  32. How 'bout this? I promise to give your post the same thoughtful consideration you give mine. 🙂 I'm sure. Did you know that 92% of the 1 million covid deaths in the US occurred in hospitals? Think on that a bit.

  33. I think so. But Charlottesville was a White Supremacist Rally and these are Anti Israel protests. The Ottawa rally was an anti Trudeau rally. All different things.

  34. The sentiment is the same. Yes you did lol. As with the policy of kicking Palestinians off their land, there's no explicit de jure prohibition, but permits are prohibitively expensive and seldom granted even if someone can afford them. Cite? 1000 incidents a year is like three per day, that's not systemic? Come the hell on. Again: ethnic cleansing has nothing to do with the size of a given population and everything to do with where they are.

  35. But it did work. Things were better under that plan than the current plan. It actually is straight forward logic to say "we tried this and things got worse - lets go back to the way it was where thinks were better". Then you can see if you can come up with something new. But we sure haven't tried giving a choice between severe punishment and successful rehab tho - and that does sound promising.

  36. With the tiny bit of information you've provided (which based on your previous posts probably is missing some important data) i wouldn't support charges against the woman. She's clearly a disgusting person but that's her right in a free country. What IS hilarious is you bring it up and then demand to know where the outrage is before anyone's even had a chance to reply or finish reading what you wrote First i've heard of it. The cops are investigating - so if there's more to the story then we'll find out but as is i don't think she SHOULD be charged. Don't worry little guy - if you've told the truth then your heroine won't be going to jail I mean - celebrating the death of thousands of innocent people in an act of criminal violence isn't NEARLY as bad as misgendering someone, which your side feels deserves jail time right

  37. I'm sure there's some actual peace-loving protestors in there somewhere. But anyone who chants "From the river to the sea..." is a genocidal ethnic-cleansing sh!tbag, and that's a lot of them. These types have never wanted a 2-state solution. They want a 1-state solution free of Israel and free of Jews, just like every other Arab/Muslim country. Religion of peace my f*cking arse. Mohamed was a conquering warlord. Israel was conquered a few years after Mohammed died by the next conquering Muslim caliphate to spread Islam throughout the region. If you leave Islam they murder you. if the woman leaves the house without permission the husband beats you. The Palestinians had a chance to negotiate 2-states in 1947, but they wanted all the land for the Arabs. The UN disagreed. Israeli was then founded and the Arabs attacked and lost land because of it. They attacked again in 1967 and lost more land. The had another chance in 2000 during Camp David, but Arafat said he would never agree to "final borders" for any 2-state solution. He was just there to make gains, not peace. So the talks broke off and the Palestinians revolted. So Israel gave back Gaza to the Palestinians in 2005, and the people of Gaza elected Hamas. At least Israel has tried the olive branch a few times. The Arab leadership just wants ethnic cleansing and genocide. There is no compromise with them, there's no peace. because they don't want it.

  38. Thanks MG. For all those who thought that the title of this thread was inaccurate, and the protesters aren't Hamas supporters, just click the video. For all those who thought that "From the river to the sea" wasn't a call for genocide, just click the video. Let's all just discuss this scenario honestly now, seeing as the truth laid bare for all to see: Israel is protecting themselves from a genocide, just like they did when they were attacked in 1948, and again in 1967. Israel has to win all the time. The first time they lose, they'll all die.

  40. The other thing that has to be acknowledged is that we're bringing in 1,000,000 new mouths to feed every year. That puts a significant strain on the demand for product. Just like housing, those people are being brought in with NO plan or thought from the feds about where the food to feed them will come from, and that drives prices up. As if you can just add a million people to the 40 million we have and there will be zero impact on food availability or prices.
