  1. This article describes how the Khalistan movement has been a militant, violent organization In India. It has a history of violent confrontation with the India security service and many lives have been lost. Yet this photo shows Trudeau seems to support this organization. How can this be possible in Canada which has designated some organizations as terrorists? Why India fears the Khalistan movement and how Canada became embroiled in diplomatic spat over killing of Sikh separatist (theconversation.com)

  2. Only from the perspective of the Left. Generally, when the Left protests the Right ignores them. When the Right protests the Left gets bug-eyed furious and comes out to scream insults and obscenities at them. It's the same thing for meetings or talks with public figures. If someone like Peterson comes to town to give a talk the Left has to come out and demonstrate, and hopefully harass anyone attending, if not shut the talk down. If some left wing public figure comes out to give a talk the Right ignores it. I think this is a difference in the respect for freedom of speech the Right holds and Left now disdains.

  3. It's a completely different matter. 1) Alberta wouldn't be separating to create a "Land of the Pure" 2) They were separate to begin with and it's completely legal, based on our constitution, for them to separate. India already endured 1 partitioning and it cost roughly 10M lives. It's insanity to take the topic of separation lightly, especially when militants are leading the charge.

  4. There’s a series of distinctions to be drawn here. I’ll just take two obvious ones. Firstly, advocating for an independent Sikh homeland should not be a crime in and of itself. We don’t arrest those who think Quebec should be a country, do we? Only those Sikhs who actively pursue violence should be persons of interest to the police. Secondly, no foreign country has the right to take the law into its hands here in Canada.

  5. DId Biden appoint family as White House officials? Buy a statue or painting of himself with campaign funds? Sell T-shirts mugs and doodads for personal gain? Hold up trade deals for dirt on opponents? Lie to this day about non existent voter fraud? Personally call State and Election officials to "find him" extra votes? nah, none of those tings were corrupt at all.... he was the Baby Jesus President...

  6. Very nice to see a Canadian Politician finally owe up to his mistakes. Something you'll never see from the PM... The biggest problem though wasn't that Ford slightly cut the Greenbelt (while adding more than he took), it's that he favored certain developers in the process. That still reeks of nepotism and elitism, things Ford stood against in 2018.

RFK seems like a big improvement over the blundering, corrupt, warmongers in the Biden administration. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/04/25/robert-f-kennedy-jr-biden-2024/11733782002/ I hope RFK will help make the Democrats the party of the people, not the party of the billionaire perverts.

  8. For decades infectious disease control scientists have warned us of new strains of evolving respiratory diseases that will likely be a major danger to mankind. All started with SARS in the early 1990s which bewildered experts. Forget Meteors, Extra Terrestrial invasion, or any of that Biblical apocalypse stuff. So now the next strain of pandemic will no doubt be met with resistance and ignorance by the Reichwing and anti Vax nutjobs will stand tall and fall small in defiance. Covid in a small way showed this.

After Trump heard the FBI wanted to interview Michael last year, Trump told her, "You don't know anything about the boxes." 10. Imagine if their chiefs and band council's actually cared about their own people, how well they could be doing now. Harper wanted to see where the money went, but some chiefs didn't want to fo that. Then in 2015 Trudeau said he wouldn't ask to see where the money went.

  13. The referendum was in Surrey, at Tamanawis School, which is at about 124th St. I've seen signs as far out as 260th St in Langley, but I have no doubt that there are signs up out in Abbotsford as well. There is a very large Indian community out there. The word "referendum" is troublesome imo, as it almost always refers to a binding vote. The word "survey" or "poll" would be far more appropriate, neither of which carry decision-making clout.

  21. The Liberals have no morality when it comes to votes. So sure, they could be giving them their backdoor support for votes. Why wouldn't they? This is the party that refused to outlaw or condemn the Tamil Tigers during their savage attacks in Sri Lanka because of a few Toronto ridings that had high Tamil voter numbers they wanted. Plus, they're led by a man whose every waking minute is spent trying to figure out how to make himself more popular.

  26. That is not how things work in many countries. There are many places where separatists are only interested in violence. They are not peaceful and not interested in democracy. Like the Taliban in Afghanistan. They want to impose their own radical ideology on everyone. I tried to explain that but you can't seem to understand that groups that want things by violence cannot be given any leeway. A so-called Khalistan would be a Sikh religious theocracy. What you think about how things should be or how things are peacefully done in Canada is not how it works in the rest of the world.

Vet affairs was very good to me , got me hooked up to everything i needed, OSI clinic performed miracles when so many of my friends lost their battle with their demons...and my family never would have made it out without them, and then i had a lot of help from close friends that had also made it through...it takes a whole village as they say...and a lot of patients on their part... Reliving all of that is part of the treatment, until it does not control you anymore...

  30. He's not admitting his mistake, he's caving to public pressure. And as a result ontario probably isn't going to get the homes he promised, he'll find a way to distract people away from that promise. Ontario has a long standing tradition of shooting itself in the foot and honestly this can get added to the pile.

  31. I do, I ran all the numbers many years ago with a particularly bright fellow and no, they can't. Frankly - with the possible exception of ontario no one province in canada can. At least not if you define 'make it' as maintain the same quality of life trajectory that canada has which is also diminishing. Short version - not enough people and not diverse enough economy, and while that was some years ago it's not changed enough. And being landlocked hampers them BC Alberta and Sask could pull it off. Add in manitoba (which you might htink would actually make it weaker) and it's even stronger. But there's no doubt that the reason the western provinces are weaker than they should be today is very specific and deliberate federal policy

  34. If India wanted the guy there's a process of extradition to use. If you really think countries have the right to go into sovereign nations and murder people they don't like, you've lost as much moral standing as the USA has. They do it just because they can and no one can do anything about it. Hell, even when someone comes in and cuts someone up to pieces inside the US there's just a minor protest as they'd do it too. But grasping desperately at any straw that could possibly blacken Trudeau, we don't need your opinion. We have the National Post for that.

  37. It's a complex issue, many wokes are clearly antisemites as well as people on the far right, despite being quite well paid for the activism they do. Also, I think the language is important here. When you're talking about guerrilla groups, are you meaning that these demonstrations on a weekday at working hours is guerrilla warfare, rather than a moral panic protest at worst?

  38. The anti-woke movements in Canada don't have a leader or really someone representing the movement for many, so you see people in the streets who are basically the reflection of the average voter and average person, not someone who's been trained to speak to media. Plus, they do it on a week day during working hours. The woke movements, on the other hand, receive public funding, are well organized and have many media trained personalities to spread the ideology. The average person doesn't do well when it comes to dialoguing about politics or expressing their values. It's a reflection of our society. Many anti-wokes have many different reasons to congregate together, from many walks of life. Funnily enough, the association between the far right and muslims is really a surprise. If you said a few months ago that Muslims and the far right in Canada would be on the same side for a societal issue and would hold demonstrations together, you'd be called a kook too.

  41. Thats pretty thin moonbox for you that is... what is confrontational is organizing a counter protest at the same event...it was done that way to disrupt and ensure the parents message did not get any traction... I mean most of those were ordinary parents for the most part, these things do attract the wing nuts...but they are not antifa, or bikers, or far right racist... but parents...i have not heard of any arrests or physical fights, the amount of people involved... yes that would be scary, taking my name, why not just leave the wallet at home or better yet wear a name tag with Hi my name is john doe... I'm all about dialogue... Hence why i'm here on this forum....or i'd have my own podcast spewing just my opinion.. But do you really think the counter protest had any intentions of having a dialogue with the parents...or did they go down there to be confrontation and shout down the parents message, "thats what happened"... The mask thing was so they would not be identified if sh*t went south...Did you see the parents with any masks, why is that they could be identified, and targeted as well...but that was not the case.... as for the parents message it differs from city to city...nothing in NB was about anti trans, in fact in many media accounts the parents tell the LGBTQ people they don't care if they are trans, gay, or purple with the warts on their junk...... it was about parents and having a say in their Childs life while at school... Had nothing to do with life or death...or threats, it was a peaceful protest, with both sides getting media time... 45. Wrong. Homosexual behavior is sinful behavior. It always has been and it always will be. For some reason you perverts think that when Jesus fulfilled the old law he opened the door to homosexuals. This is not the case. All He did was bring in His OWN set of laws, and queers STILL don't have a pass. Jude 1:7 confirms this, and so do other NT scriptures. Jesus commands us to feed the poor, not facilitate illegal immigration. When you hear the expression "feed the hungry" the first thing a normal person thinks about is how he can help those within his community. When a pervert like you hears the expression "feed the hungry" you immediately look to facilitating illegal immigration. It's the difference between a normal Christian and a political activist.

  46. Good question. Apparently he fled to Canada after being accused of involvement in a bombing. He came in under a fake passport and then applied for asylum. It was rejected. Eleven days later he suddenly married a Sikh woman and she applied to sponsor him. That was rejected as a fake marriage. There is no word on why he was kept around but I'm guessing the courts forbid us deporting him since he faced likely human rights abuse in India. According to our immigration minister he became "Canadian" in 2015, but he wasn't a Canadian, really. He had no interest in this country. He was devoted to trying to set up a separate Sikh homeland in India, and if he had ever succeeded he'd have left Canada. He was a technical Canadian, but not one I recognize as such.
