  4. I was watching Elon Musk's interview on Tucker Carlson and he brought up a very interesting point which explains a lot of what we see on social media these days: programmers are teaching AI to lie, omit, obfuscate, etc. AI is so fast that one AI site could put up 50,000 posts every second easily. Maybe ten times that many. If just one AI site is dedicated to lying it can simultaneously overwhelm humans trying to communicate in hundreds of forums on the internet. It's worth considering that some of the posters who are dedicated to just overtly lying here in thread after thread might be AI bots. I've wondered how some posters can just completely ignore covid deaths stats over and over again and just keep saying "The covid shot is performing exactly the way that we would expect a vax to perform." No one is stupid enough to believe that. No one is even stupid enough to believe that other humans can be gaslighted into believing that vax bs. Obviously these shameless serial liars, whose names I don't even have to mention, have absolutely no shame whatsoever. They will just tell the exact same lies over and over and no matter how often they get called out, they just don't give a rip. Like bots. Sure, they also make a lot of baseless accusations, but of course you could teach an AI site to call people nazis or racists instead of answering basic questions. I have a few of those guys on ignore just because I don't want to be dragged down to their level, but some of the more sophisticated liars are harder to ignore because they occasionally say intelligent things which have to be countered. So how would we police this forum to get rid of bots? Should we start putting people on suspensions just for lying? Sounds awesome, but how do we define who's lying when we get our information from the lying MSM and the internet? Think of all the things that fact checkers like politifaked and Sdopes called lies... Basically anyone who tells the truth ten times a day crosses paths with those bogus sites. Is human communication on the internet doomed?

  5. This article describes six ways leftism acts like a religion. "Conservative commentators have been mocked for years for describing leftism as a new religion of sorts. Since 2016, it has become clear that the modern left was determined to prove us right. What we have witnessed unfold in this country over the last few years, and have seen increase exponentially as the 2020 election comes near, especially with regard to the Black Lives Matter movement, is an expression of religious zealotry so widespread, unforgiving, and violent that it might have made the Puritan governors of 17th-century Massachusetts worry they were being outdone. Leftism is not a political ideology anymore. It is a full-fledged religion complete with tithing, penance, forced confessions, iconoclasm, internet inquisitions, public rituals, excommunication, heavily policed virtues, sacred texts, seminaries, and online auto-de-fes. The proof is too plentiful to ignore.

Here are the signs that we’re truly confronting a theocracy of totalitarian religious extremists. 1. Conformity, Strictly Enforced Virtues, and Excommunication Throughout history, religious nonconformists and dissenters of theocracies like the one we’re now confronting have been denied political and civil rights. Those who fail to express their undying loyalty to the Church of Leftism and participate in its public rituals are marked as heathens and “canceled” faster than you can say “due process.” Those who dissent publicly from their established doctrine are routinely censored, humiliated, shunned from certain schools or organizations, and even deprived of their livelihoods. In this religious system, heretics and apostates are ruthlessly suppressed and denied the full benefits of participation in the body politic. Even if you’re silent, the media choir will call it violence and demand you be shamed and unfollowed. If that’s not enough puritan madness, the choir will also instruct you on how to be sufficiently woke. The New York Times recently ran a piece suggesting you must demand your family and friends donate to left-wing causes or threaten them with excommunication. Other ways leftism demonstrates it is a religion: 2. Inquisition To ensure the aforementioned conformity, the Church of Leftism has established a Tribunal of the Woke Office of the Inquisition. They police speech; launch vicious pressure campaigns against celebrities, schools, and corporations; and work to ruin the lives of those who dare dissent from established orthodoxy. Even those who commit only the most venial of sins face the wrath of the woke. 3. Sins Speaking of sins, the Church of Leftism has a lot of them. Groupthink is required, or else dissidents will be smeared with an -ism, -ist, or -phobia. Once the church attaches those labels to you, you might lose your job and get a public shaming. Homophobe, racist, bigot, xenophobe — these accusations used to carry meaning, but the left has misused and misapplied them for so long, they have lost almost all weight outside the pseudo religion. 4. Penance If you do find that you’ve committed a sin after the woke inquisitors have their way with you, you shall be forced to commit a humiliating public act of penance. Grown men have been forced to beg on their knees or prostrate themselves. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey did it willingly only to find that no amount of groveling or virtue signaling could ever satiate the most extreme members of the church. 5. Public Ritual Some leftist church members are perfectly happy to humiliate themselves without coercion. Its political priestly class, for example, is incredibly fond of gaudy vestments, their favorite fabric choices being white and Kente. Lay members choose more lively rituals or synchronized chants. They even have holy wars. Look no further than the riots waged in large part by the far left and remember the phrase they’ve been using during the riots: “By all means necessary.” In their jihad, the only possible redemption for infidels like you or me is to come on bended knee, groveling and ready to convert wholesale to their liturgy of insanity. Even that might not be enough to save you. .6. Evangelization The missionary zeal of the Church of Leftism is enough to make the Latter Day Saints envious. Its evangelists are everywhere, their efforts permeating all aspects of life: television shows, websites, social media, consumer bank landing pages, corporate advertising. Barely a single product, app, or promotion these days comes without a free leftist sermon. For more on this and the whole article go to: 6 Ways Leftism Acts Like A Religion (thefederalist.com) Of course we see real life examples of the evangelization of the Leftist Religion on CBC, CTV, and even commercials.

I'm not aware of any reporters being silenced or disappeared for reporting them are you? I've asked before if you people think its the other way around and the media controls the government but there's no straight answer to be found that way either. It always seems to depend on which corner you're trying to back yourself out of at the time. It is what it is.

  8. And you're slow. My link was to a liar and his liar media friends at CNN - that's all it was. You see, democrat, this is an exercise in pointing out the liars. We all know why Schiff lied and why CNN helped/helps perpetuate those lies; it's because they don't want Donald Trump to win another election and they'll say and spin anything to prevent that from happening. Your idea of evidence stinks of bias, and testimonies don't mean shit in this case. If you have any doubt the election was stolen, just look at the sack of shit that got in. LOL - he's trash. Carlson and Hannity don't even hold a candle to CNN's lies. Now, since you suck at staying on topic, would you like to see another video?

  14. oh look, we learned a new word did we Its the simple truth. You - "if you make an asertion you MUST back it up with source! I assert something! Me: "well then back it up with a source - you're supposed to right?" You - 'uhhhh welll , ,er no on -I- don't .. .er... gish gallop!!!! (runs away) ohhhh nooooeeesss - the hypocrite lefty who can't even live up to her own statements doesn't respect me any more Whatever will i do So you're one of those kinds who can't respect anyone who doesn't absolutely agree with them. How sad. Common on the left, but still sad to see. My donkey is just named donkey Would you like me to have him respond to you in the future? He might like talking to another ass

  15. Yes, But that's not what you claim. Yet when asked for a source you freak out and try to blame others. If you believe what you say you should be happy to provide one. But you won't, because you know i was right. That WOULD be true, but i wasn't trying to prove you were right or wrong. I was trying to prove you're a hypocrite. Which is exactly what happened. I already knew you were wrong. LOL - no, you're not. You're proving you didn't believe your own contention and are a hypocrite. Which is what i suspected would happen. Hence the smiley face below the request I knew you woudln't live up to your own standards. They're hilarious Now that we've firmly established your hypocrisy and that you don't believe what you yourself demanded, i think we can do away with pretending you care about sources You were just sealioning from the start.

  18. By now it should be possible to have the full data to answer a simple question: in the early months of the pandemic, was there any measurable significantly higher risk to the general population, healthy, no complications or conditions under 50 or 60 year or 80 years of age than known conditions like cold or flu? It is a simple first question and it's quite astounding to see how the experts in so many developed jurisdictions just failed it. Failed their duty before the society that was not to hand out arbitrary directives and preach but to measure and inform, honestly and objectively. Not all though. Some did just that. Secondly, at no time previously, in the absence of high general risk, did we use mandatory limitations on the actions and freedoms of citizens to protect other, vulnerable populations. Always it was discretionary and voluntary. How did this happen that such a drastic change of standard and practice was imposed almost instantly and matter-of-factly, with no public discussion of the meaning and implications? And thirdly we have to recall the infamous recommendation, followed by massive propaganda, of vaccination of children. There was no rationale for that. It undermined the professional standard and the medical oath. Again, automatically, with no discussion or consideration by the society. Is it scary already how much we, as supposedly democratic society can lose and are willing to give up upfront and basically for no clear reason. Just because they said so. Is it a good thing?

  19. In your opinion. Control over media is the question. Why do you assume it only comes from government?

  20. What complexities do you see in this issue? It's as simple, as black and white as it'll ever get no there won't be an easier one. Russia barged into, invaded, attacked a sovereign European nation it had no less than five or six treaties with. Hitler used staged provocation to invade Poland and start WWII. Russia did not need it. Get it, Russia is worse than Hitler just an obvious fact two plus two. If you can screw that one up with your Carson buddies, what can you get right in this world is it even possible theoretically?

  22. A few days ago I flipped to the CBC out of curiosity, some sort of talk show. Rosemary Barton and a couple of talking heads. I wasted 10 minutes listening to them denigrate Pierre Poilievre and praise Trudeau. Nothing outrageous but the bias was evident.

  23. So knowing that a network receives government funding is more important than a private network is being bankrolled by say the NRA or big pharma? Could it be possible that a network receiving government funding that has its editorial independence enshrined in law, could be less influenced than one which depends on big buck sponsors? Of course this is an ideological act.

  26. Today Conservative ideology does not appeal to voters. People want something for nothing and that is how they vote. A while back I posted this video with a few suggestions for Conservatives. This approach might not get them elected, nothing might, but at least they can have responsibility and integrity.

  29. Rhetorically, sealioning fuses persistent questioning—often about basic information, information easily found elsewhere, or unrelated or tangential points—with a loudly-insisted-upon commitment to reasonable debate. It disguises itself as a sincere attempt to learn and communicate. Sealioning thus works both to exhaust a target's patience, attention, and communicative effort, and to portray the target as unreasonable. While the questions of the "sea lion" may seem innocent, they're intended maliciously and have harmful consequences. — Amy Johnson, Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society (May 2019)[6] Sorry kiddo - YOU"RE wrong, And i just proved it If you disagree then you have to provide the proof. Gotcha Nope. I POSTED EVIDENCE that mental evaluation IS SOP. You have posted NOTHING which contradicts that. If your EVIDENCE is "easily found" then POST IT.

The problem is that good and bright people have lost their jobs and reputations as a result. Cancel culture is a real threat, but the lunatics have been allowed to run the asylum and they’ve fired any opposition.

  33. No it isn’t. You’re committing the fallacy of over-generalization by saying, Nazis criticized Marxism, therefore criticism of Marxism is Nazism. It’s like saying, Hitler was a vegan, therefore all vegans are Hitlers. Just because criticizing Marxism was an attribute of Nazism doesn’t mean that everyone who criticizes Marxism is a Nazi. That’s basic logic. Don’t be stupid.

  36. You posted one study about myocarditis. I pointed out to you that the study clearly stated it was funded by Pfizer. I also posted multiple studies and datasets from independent scientists and world data that showed that myocarditis was a problem in teenagers and young adults. I also posted how many countries have stopped the jabs in children, because of those studies and datasets. Then the CDC finally came out and admitted that myocarditis WAS an issue. It wasn't that I was not open to any opposing information. It was a discussion about data and studies. And the information you presented was false. And I proved it was false.

  39. Your "question" was a last name with no context meant to be an answer to my question about celebrities who were supposedly cancelled. According to her Wikipedia, it was two movies and a TV appearance. First of all, it wasn't just leftists. Liberals and apolitical people also didn't want to see her after her bullshit. She pretty much just had fascist support. Keep in mine, you're a minority in both Canada and America. Secondly, you can't say she was "cancelled" if she is still getting work. If your definition of being cancelled is just getting less work, most of Hollywood has been "cancelled." If you think about it, the anti-fascists are the real fascist because they oppose fascism. You don't have any examples because you're lying. According to his social media, he is. No, my argument was that celebrities don't lose their careers. I said at the start that sometimes they lose jobs. And yeah, I think sometimes it's unfair. I don't agree with overboard political correctness and I think that a lot of times it's just a tiny but very loud minority. But I don't believe that celebrities lose their careers unless they do something on the level of Harvey Weinstein. Also, I think there's a lot of hypocrisy here. You're concerned with the Left boycotting things they don't like, but you're fine with the Right banning things they don't like. Boycotting is not authoritarian, bans are.

  41. You make the claim, it's on you to provide the evidence. And just typing a last name with no context is a pathetic attempt at providing evidence. I checked her wikipedia and she has been in movies since the Mandalorian. She actually would have been in even more movies, but she refused to comply with the covid regulations of the time. So basically, she lost a job, but then she continued working, which is what I said happens to celebrities. And she would have had even more jobs in Hollywood, but she was too stupid to realize that the vaccine doesn't turn you into a magnet or whatever. Cry harder. What racist thing did I say in the entire time I was here? So yeah, that was really really stupid and he shouldn't have apologized. But was he cancelled? He's still doing work in his field, he still works for Rosetta and Cluster. If anything, I think this shows us that people are too quick to do damage control when it's actually just a few very loud losers with too much time on their hands complaining. Had Taylor refused to apologize, he'd still have his current jobs.
