Donald Trump pressured his VP to unconstitutionally reject the results of the electoral college votes because he didn't want to lose. He's a dictator.4 points

If that's really a big deal to you then why isn't Biden's influence peddling the biggest deal of the last 20 years for you? Hunter reaped $$millions$$ of dollars from Ukraine and China, and his main contribution to anyone in those countries was access to his father - the VPOTUS. When SNC Lavalin wanted access to bid on the $150,000,000,000.00 in federal contracts that the Libs were handing out in their infrastructure program, they got Trudeau to create the DPA law for them, but that wasn't even enough because our AG still didn't believe that they qualified for its protection. So Trudeau pressured the AG to use it, and when she didn't do his bidding, she was fired. CTV and CBC won't tell you this, but SNC had a court-documented history of bribing Canadian politicians. CBC and CTV both covered the story of Michel Fournier back in 2017 - he pleaded guilty to accepting $2,300,000.00 in bribes from SNC Lavalin to win a $127M contract to repair/maintain the Jacques Cartier Bridge in Mtl. FYI SNC has an international division, do you think that it's worth considering the fact that maybe a company that bribed a guy to win a single bridge contract might have given Trudeau some form of compensation for all the hard work that he did on their behalf, so that they could bid on $150B worth of federal projects? Trudeau said that he did it to save the jobs of 5,000 Quebec workers, but he cost 100,000 jobs in Alberta quite happily. What gives you the impression that the Bidens and Trudeau aren't just in it for themselves? Or Nancy Pelosi, and her husband with the impeccable track record for timely investing? You're such a sucker that I just feel sad for you.2 points

Once again you prove you don't understand how a free enterprise system works and you think government control can provide the solutions. Government IS THE PROBLEM. Government only know how to tax, and control and block private enterprise from doing the job. They destroy nations with their regulations and over reaching control. Anybody that has any money to invest would go somewhere else that is business friendly. Profit is not a dirty word. It is what builds a nation and provides prosperity. Otherwise you end up in poverty like Venezuela, Cuba and many other places.2 points

Fundamentalist Islam is garbage and should have no place in Canada. The fatwa is nonsense, and under Canadian law you can't issue death threats anyways, despite free speech, so it's already not allowed in Canada so don't worry. Islam is the worst major religion in the world, but I have no issue with moderate Muslims, I have known many. I have known Muslim women who don't even wear a hijab or headcovering. Some even who are Iranian.2 points

You're a sad, ultra-biased joke MH. The FBI already has a court-documented history of lying to judges and the media about Trump. Of course some oversight is necessary when the FBI raids a Trump property. Their "secret reasons" aren't enough.2 points

Hunger Games is here. The elites aren’t even pretending it’s not about self-preservation. That’s why constraints must go. Restore freedoms and free markets. Get these overbearing green-woke ideologues out of office before they ruin the country beyond repair.2 points

When did this become a “thing”? One day they weren’t there and the next day they were with tents, carts and in your face. They are sleeping in bus shelters and stations. They need a light. They need change. what is the solution?1 point

The interview with the black lady also brought up comparison between the treatment of Hillary Clinton and Trump regarding the FBI raid. Who has forgotten about Hillary's emails? That would really resonate!1 point

Not sure what your definition of "public money" is. Players were named. Innocent or guilty, unproven and therefore, reputation tarnished regardless.1 point

The problem is not the services. They can be highly beneficial for the economy if provided efficiently reducing the cost of business and so on. The problem is how they are provided. We here do not know how to provide pretty much any public service effectively and efficiently. It always ends up in another crisis, budget crunch quality issues, queues expanding bureaucracy and everlasting quest for more public money. No we don't need replicate and expand clearly failing model. At some point it would break the budget no matter how much of the country you sell out.1 point

The people who want free dental care, pharmacare, guaranteed income, help with housing, etc. are largely not the people who have to pay income taxes. They also get their sales and carbon taxes refunded. Why WOULDN'T they call for more government programs?1 point

1. Fatwas are not ok. If a Pope says something stupid - as they do - people don't blame Catholics. 2. Wrong. How about you stop wasting my time with retarded analogies?1 point

But would you have suspended him. Maybe you didn't have the authority. My views are my views. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but I've seen enough from hockey players I know to come to the conclusion it promotes a meat-head culture. The reason we're talking about it in this thread is because of JT. I think it's perfectly in the purview of the PM to comment on an organization that is heavily funded through Federal Dollars.1 point

That's not really how credibility works. When you've proven that you're willing do say absolutely anything and tell any lie you think will seem compelling to your drooling idiot fans, your personal credibility goes straight to zero. Alex Jones has absolutely no credibility. That he sometimes talks about stuff that may be real doesn't really change that. China has always been an easy scapegoat seeing as though the virus started there and the commie government's draconian secrecy. There's maybe reason to wonder and investigate this theory, but if Alex Jones turns out to be right it will be because a blindfolded, spinning monkey throwing poop everywhere will eventually hit the target. Don't post Russel Brandt videos here if you want anyone to listen to you. The guy is just another loudmouthed nutter.1 point

Indeed it is. And our worst nightmares may come to pass...willingly ushered in by the very zombies you speak of. After about 5 years of it, you'll commonly hear people in pubs and in other public forums saying, "But how was I to know...?" The Liberal mind is handicapped by an over-arching need to make everyone "feel" good. This is not only stupid, but its impossible and its destructive. Couple that with their need to save the planet...and what you get is mud. Meanwhile...while this chicken crap goes on in The West...Ping and many others are laughing their heads off.1 point

Any religion that promises hell for the majority of women, just because they are women, unlimited de-flowering of virgins for men and a guaranteed ticket to heaven if they murder, is so obviously MAN-made, it's bizarre to me that it has so many adherents and even more bizarre - so many supporters amongst non-adherents.1 point

It's hard to get to get devoted MSM watchers to understand the true scope of the protests because MSM doesn't report on any of it. And if you're a devoted MSM watcher, if it's not shown to you as news then it doesn't exist. Look at how many here are shown actual videos of thousands of protesters all over the world and still do not believe it because they didn't see it on CBC news. There are still massive protests going on in Canada, none of which make the news. But why else is Trudeau so intent on squashing protests lately? It's because HE knows there ae still massive protests going on. He just doesn't want YOU to know. And the devoted MSM watchers who choose to stay willingly ignorant play right into his greedy, power-hungry, corrupt hands.1 point

You think government has to provide all the solutions. That is Socialism and Marxism and is a failure. That is why our housing situation is disaster and homelessness is rampant. Only private enterprise can build homes and provide the massive amount of housing that is needed. But government interferes with that in every way possible and makes private investors look elsewhere or blocks builders from building. Socialism also destroys individual incentive or motivation to improve one's self and get a job. Why work when government will take care of you and give you a cheque which you can use to buy a fix? Liberal Socialism closed the mental institutions as well and put them all out on the street. Socialism is the cause of our problems.1 point

From your article: I don't even understand how this is even a controversial arrest based on the above. She's acknowledging that she's guilty, and she had 17 vials of cannabis oil, but some people in the US think that she shouldn't have to serve... based on what? (Kamala Harris ?) Ignorance of the law isn't an excuse in the US, I'm not sure why Americans feel like it would be a good enough excuse in Russia. It's not like she broke an obscure law - most people know that carrying drugs across international borders is "frowned upon" lol. If she broke a weird law like feeding pigeons in Venice or wearing high heels to the Acropolis I'd acknowledge that they have a point. Russia's laws re: marijuana aren't actually out of line with a lot of other countries. A 4-year minimum sentence for what she did is quite common.1 point

Adding in the school year 21/22. Well we are here and it didn't happen. It is still 4 years before they graduate. You cannot just add 1200 students to a program, no matter what government says. There is a lot more than just sitting in classrooms and getting lectures. There is not enough equipment for more students and, there are not enough teachers (also medical staff) for extra students. As for doctors, Like that is going to have an impact ?? "Ontario is adding 160 undergraduate seats and 295 postgraduate positions over the next five years, the largest expansion of undergraduate and postgraduate education in over 10 years." My daughter is high level in a hospital. Always looking for nurses. The primary problem is shift work. No one wants to work the 12 hour shits and especially at night. Like any job, it take a long time to get the seniority to be able to pick your shifts (and time off and vacation times). So, they leave. They go to 9 to 5 clinics or at home services. Plus, who wants to work in small towns and remote communities?1 point

What I told a University professor in 1970. No I'm not an Italo-Canadian. I'm a Canadian just like my Grampa who came from Italy. Agreed. I Am Canadian. Right down to my maple syrup pancakes...shed full of old hockey equipment...Labatt's Blue beer belly and lover of the nation coast to coast. The large number of vagrants on the street is the result of Socialist government policies. Socialist bureaucracy created this mess first by closing mental institutions because nobody with mental illness can be put in an institution without their consent. Secondly Socialist policies resulted in a shortage of millions of homes and apartments and massive government regulations and red tape to build anything. Thirdly liberal judges do not generally put people in prison for many crimes in Canada and it is a revolving door. There are countless people on the street who committed crimes repeated but were never put behind bars. So they continue their crime and live on the street, many taking drugs. Socialist politicians say all they need is mental health treatment. Crime is not crime any more; it is all just mental problems. That is the NDP bedrock policy.1 point

As a generally non-religious type, I can't help but notice that the Christians are being persecuted in Canada. I can't imagine they're enjoying having their pastors arrested and churches burned down. In my BC city, the churches had to have 24/7 security for months. The burning seems to died down for the moment. But the persecution still remains. If it was ANY other faith, there'd be media outrage. But it's Christianity...so...the media supports the persecution.1 point

Rationalization. In my small city there's over 1000 "homeless" crapping all over the place. Dodge the turd. It wasn't ALWAYS like this as Trudeau's minions suggest.1 point

I don’t see it that way. We’re talking drug addicts/alcoholics and mentally ill. They sleep in doorways, bus shelters and public bathrooms - which lead to closures to public need. When given a “place” (at public expense) it’s destroyed. Bring back vagrancy laws. Abolishing such didn’t work but they don’t acknowledge it. They work perfectly in Brevard Co., Florida.1 point

While I agree with most of what you say, there could be better ways to promote faster throughput. The onus is on politicis to do things like this, figure it out. Not tell us some virtue-signalling BS intended for whatever good feels. Do your job, ye heathens. Even without being a CEO of a major health network, I can come up with some suggestions. Schools full? Create more schools. Lower the tuition costs for all health care training, including mental health where they aren't always filling up classes, but where it's needed. You see, the schools are "full" because they base it on the number of jobs available in the market. No jobs available, schools full. Obviously it begs the question, do we have enough beds, labs and clinics to meet the needs of the population. Open more beds, labs and clinics. They in turn create demand for more trained professionals, so make with the schools. Let's go, let's go. .... For those who do not habla, old men like me are the problem. We have a memory, we remember. I remember a time when our local hospital had about 600 beds, that was back in the '90's. Now it's down to 400. ER capacity is less than before as well. But you people don't know that. You have no memroy (sic)1 point

Develop a program where hospitals scrutinize them, like an OJT program, today on the news they said 15,000 health care workers in ontario alone ,are waiting to get scrutinized. and are now working at minimum wage jobs just to survive. People are not lined up to get into the medical professions, they are having tough times recruiting, people don't want to step into a high stress job for a few dollars more. And your right there is no snapping fingers here, that being said we seen this coming a long time ago, when wait times were just 6 hours... Many of those retired nurse and doctors and all the other health care workers including the other staff required to run a hospital..etc. would come back if the hours were reduced, wages improved, allowed to take vacations. But Justin does not want to spend more on health care and for now more is needed before they bleed out... Perhaps do what Germany did when it had conscription, each citizen had a choice military or health care, once accepted you had to serve 4 years any where in the country, but if you were not trained, then they would pay for your education and you had to repay I year extra service for 1 year schooling, once again it was the government that decided where or which health care place you served. Any failure meant you served the remaining time in the Military, and not in a Jammy trade either.1 point

We have politicians that would prefer supplement populations with immigration rather than birth rate. I'm personally of the opinion that we should have a birth rate solution... Countries that are over populated should make it less feasible to have large families... that is their responsibility. Europeans are intelligent bleeding hearts in a way that they are slowly leading themselves to extinction. We are a minority world wide, our birth rate is extremely low. The earth has a lot of people on it, so lets not encourage birth rate of our civilization... Rather than having other races take responsibility for their birth rate, we'll do it for them by making ourselves extinct over time.1 point
