He has to make the appointment, its the law even if he just rubber stamps the boards choice. He chooses from the no more than five candidates put forward by the board.

At least in the US they admit it’s political.  Here we pretend it isn’t.  The Liberals have never been as partisan as they are today.  Liberals used to be quite centrist.  Now they’re the most radical wing of the US Democratic Party, with a big dose of the Marxist-Leninist Party.  Actually the Marxists are more authentic and sincere.

Yup.  I’m thankful about Americans getting involved.  Crazy that it takes Americans to defend the Canadian Constitution.  Most of the US is restriction-free, but Canadians are slow to pivot.  If we don’t have anyone questioning the validity of restrictions and mandates, the government will maintain pandemic policies out of inertia.  They’re on autopilot.

I don't defend Trudeau taking a knee with BLM.  I have no use for the Marxist BLM.  But you are confusing the issue by using diversion tactics.  I oppose all illegal actions by any group.  Do you understand that?  I oppose the anarchists and criminals who are blocking the Ambassador bridge now?  I oppose the convoy because of their manifesto and illegal blockades and occupations in different places.  They are obviously criminals. People in this country will have to choose what kind of country they want.  Do you want a control manipulated and controlled by a bunch of criminals and anarchists who are continually breaking the law as in the railway blockades two years ago, the pipeline construction blockades, and the blockades and occupations going on today?  What kind of a country do you want?

Yes, exactly. My comment illustrates what is going on in the minds of some who are stuck at home with their lives on hold. I am not one of those, however. Covid is merely an inconvenience for me.

Covid restrictions may not be uncomfortable for you, but it's selfish to believe everyone is able to do as well as you are doing under covid. It's not true. Get the facts. Understand why people are upset with the Prime Minister. You're welcome to learn from this wonderful forum, where you will hear more truth about what's going on than you would otherwise, maybe anywhere else. And some lies, of course.

I watched the Emergency Debate last night (which will be continued today) and it was super depressing.

Trudeau has zero intentions of ever lifting any restrictions and it is not even going to be discussed by him. He said it over and over again.  The opposition kept pointing out that other countries are opening up with less vaccination and that Tam even said it was time to regroup, but nope.  He will not even consider.

You are badly deceived, likely by Satan.  There are no lies in the Bible.  Better start studying it while there is still time.  

I know the restrictions are far harder for some people than for me.  I count my blessings.  I don't have to go to work because I am older and retired.  So I am in a far better position that a lot of people, although I am at much greater risk if I get Covid.  

I understand the pandemic health restrictions have not been the same for everyone.  They hit some people much harder than other people.  But the solution is not shutting now downtown Ottawa, shutting down bridges and highways and creating hardship for many other people who have nothing to do with it.  They didn't cause the pandemic and have nothing to do with the restrictions or how they were applied.  There are many people on the brink of mental collapse after two years of the pandemic and restrictions.  I have heard that many people including children were basically locked in a windowless room for ten days at a time.  All of this terribly tragic.  I don't have the answers.  But I know breaking the laws and harming innocent people is not the answer.
