America under President Trump

.Trump's speech is for the PEOPLE and let's see how the Democrats are going to help the COUNTRY or be self-centered and only worry about  losing their jobs and Trump achieving his goals for the country. Now is the time for the Supporters of the Dems, to tell them to Try and work with Trump for the better of the country and  that will give back the respectability the USA lost.

So after all these years of the Republican Congress publicly saying they would try and obstruct everything Obama proposed, it is suddenly time for the Democrats to bend over and play nice.

I'd prefer that the Democrats spend the next 4-8 years engaging in wild conspiracy theories while openly supporting Islam over the Free World. Worked during the election...

Trump seems to have invited all his billionaire-buddies to his cabinet.

He also invited his rich friends from his Bedminster golf club to hang out with him while he interviewed nominees.

In the tape, Trump also encouraged his new chief of staff, Reince Priebus, to take advantage of the opportunity to hobnob with his wealthy guests.

“These members are loaded, Reince,” he said. “He will work the room for campaign contributions. Don’t quote me!”

For Canadians, a semi-normal speech from Agent Orange is a relief. We should be OK for the next few weeks at least.

For Americans, speeches from The Selfie King don't really matter either way.

President Trump nominates Kelly Knight Craft  to be ambassador to Canada....certainly not a heavy hitter.

Agreed...no need to spend experienced foreign service on Canada.

Trudeau prefers to beg for Trump's attention directly anyway.

Irony would be if she spoke perfect French...

Well from the way the press was going on before the speech, even CTV news in Canada, they were expecting Trump to come out and give a speech like Hitler. Now they're scrambling to find a way... any way... to say bad things about it. But the media's not biased against Trump. Noooooo

That suits us fine up here. I don't envy Americans one little bit these days. They've a lot on their plate. My main worry is the weather.

Favourite line from President Trump's speech:

Apparently the stock markets have been doing really well since Trump became President. The economy appears to be on the move up thanks to Trump's presidency.

It was already on the up.

How do you feel about Sessions lying about his ties to Russia while under oath? I imagine that is forgivable for you in this case but a criminal offence if committed by a Democrat.

Well, somebody has to make the first move, what's more important the country or revenge? IF both parties don't TRY to get along , then  the USA has nothing  and end up with unrest and the next election may trigger even more  unrest, which do u prefer?

Up very strong after the election of Trump. That has yet to be proven yet that Sessions lied. You need to wait and see what happens, and then get back to me, good or bad, ok?

Is he denying speaking to the Russian ambassador? If he isn't, he must have done it. if he did it, he lied about not doing it. If he lied about not doing it, he had a very good reason to do so.

The wife of the Navy Seal that died, is asking ALL who came down on Trump of his speech to her and her hubby to apologize to her, especially the women of the "the view" I'm told. Today, the women didn't say one word about Trump and  its because the advertising company supporting ABC, was told for the view to knock off the poilitcs or they will withdraw their business. The company will not support any show that is political and the view has been extremely political towards Trump, which has been so bias  it would keep the country divided.
