  1. You're probably the most manipulative person i've ever encountered on a message board. It's abusive and pure evil Mike, all because of your stubbornness and ego. I'm putting you on ignore, you're incapable of honest debate because you continually lie and manipulate to try to save face. I'm not going to let you do this to me again. Get some help.

  2. On the charge of mischief. For convincing people to block roads with trucks for a peaceful protest. Would 6 months or a fine + community service and probation be fair? Sure. But 7 years is just disgusting politically motivation in this racist 2-tier justice system. Anyone who disagrees is politically motivated and a hypocrite because none of them including the Crown would be seeking 7 years if this were an indigenous or Black Lives Matter peaceful protest. Did the Crown seek 7 years for the indigenous people when they blocked railway lines with trucks for weeks in 2020 to protest pipelines? No, they didn't even charge anyone: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Canadian_pipeline_and_railway_protests#

  3. What a patently ridiculous statement. For my family it ended 4 generations of military service when my oldest (with a Masters Degree in biology BTW) balked at the jab and opted for voluntary release. The numbers you find online (military attrition) are deliberately designed to deceive. They were disciplinary releases after counselling and probation. Most people opted for voluntary release to avoid the stigma of forced disciplinary release. And BTW, the recorded warning/ C&P process which took place was the fastest I've ever (and I mean EVER) seen in 32 years of service. Personally, I was retired at the time but after 10 foreign deployments I"m pretty sure I've had every vaccine known to man... and then some. I'm willing to bet the number is way more than you've had... and with that said, I never would have submitted to this one. The question that went unanswered (and it's grade 10 biology), was how can systemic distribution of the S protein be avoided in the presence of lipid nanoparticles? The short answer is it can't... the whole "contained in the deltoid" rhetoric was manifestly foolish from the get go and has since been proven to be totally, manifestly and (I say) deliberately false. Not only did your neighbours lose their jobs over this, you cheered when it happened. In my Provence we still have experience nurses waiting tables during a massive nursing shortage because they're blocked from returning. Like gun violence in Toronto being the reason for harassing duck hunters in PEI, you are so far out of orbit that hitting the sun won't even cause you discomfort. I stand in awe...

  4. We voted for an economic wizard. Look I understand the skepticism but so far Trump is able to defy the law of economics. So unless you’re a spiteful Canadian who is in-fact paying for the tariff, you should be grateful for stable genius president Trump. Trump is not doing this to hurt Canadians, he offered 51st. You can pick between fourth world status or being an American. You chose to be worse off than Somalia whose GDP per capita is growing unlike Canada. It’s not Americans that wanted this. It’s you Canada.

  6. No one was forced to get a the vaccine. The issue at hand with the trucker convoy is that people crossing the border need the vaccine. The US had this policy too. In fact all developed nations except, I guess Sweden, had vax policies for international travelers. So I'm not sure what your issue with Canada specifically here is? Now Canada, and Ontario in particular, had pretty drastic restrictions for unvaxed people. But that's not what this was about. And those issues weren't the responsibility of the federal government. Also, anyone who was paying attention would have figured out that by January 2022, the pandemic was winding down, precisely because there were high vax numbers.

  7. It doesn't mean she'll get 7 years. And she'll be eligible for parole far earlier than her sentence anyway. People have revisionist memories of what the Convoy was all about. It was most certainly a criminal act.

  8. Because like many of the angry venters on this forum, their brains short out if they can't argue from their pre-determined and generally self-serving assumptions. Mike tried to engage on an intellectual level and break the arguments down logically, and rather than engage in defending his own points or even considering them from a different viewpoint, he chose petulance.

  9. If hundreds of mosques, hindu temples, or synagogues etc were lit via arson as hate crimes within several years you think the media and the government would make a bigger deal about? We live in a racist leftist country that now treats dominant identity groups as 2nd class citizens on a systemic level. Their solution to racism and discrimination against minority and marginalized groups isn't treating everyone equally like we were once taught and MLK Jr preaches, their solution is to actively discriminate against dominant groups. It's anti-liberalism equality of outcome leftist dogsh*t that should have died with the Soviet Union. We need to stand up to this far-left nonsense being pushed by the leftists in western universities.

At best, we would get into a semantic argument on this and yet it's still not worth me having to repeat my past assertions which you have not absorbed. 3. And... here it goes with the scenario where you tell me what I think. So tiresome, Graham.. really... 4. Uh huh... (yawns) 5. See #3, then #4 above. Let's not and say we did...

He was wanted in New York to face accusations of robbery and felony assault, and in Massachusetts over a stolen weapons case, Tisch said."

  22. There is a tide in the affairs of men. Kingdoms, countries, empires all come and go. No territory expands indefinitely and the moment when decline starts is rarely seen at the time. In due course that which was once deemed impossible comes to pass, the great state falls and new ones grow in its wake.

  23. It's not happening as quickly as I'd like, but it IS happening which is significant. America is beating inflation as President Donald J. Trump leads the country into the new Golden Age with lower costs, higher pay, and economic opportunity for all. Here’s what you need to know from the latest Consumer Price Index: In May, inflation came in lighter than expected for yet another month. Since President Trump took office, inflation has come in below economists’ expectations every single month. Core inflation held steady and remains at the lowest level since March 2021. Under President Trump, core inflation has tracked at just 2.0% on an annual basis — levels not seen since the first Trump Administration, when prices were low and stable. Wage growth remains strong under President Trump. In May, real wages for production and nonsupervisory workers saw the highest monthly increase in nearly a year — and have risen each month since President Trump took office, up nearly 2% over last year. The average private sector worker is on track to see their real earnings increase by around $1,200, adjusted for inflation. Prices for everyday Americans continue to fall. Energy prices fell by 1.0% over the last month — down 3.5% over the past year. Gasoline prices have fallen each month since President Trump took office, down 2.6% over the past month and down 12% over the past year. Prices in key areas — such as meats, poultry, eggs, airfares, used and new cars, and apparel — all went down over the past month. Here’s what they’re saying: CNN’s Matt Egan: “We got ANOTHER month of positive inflation news. Despite these historic tariffs, the latest numbers do show that inflation remained relatively tame in May … This was better than expected … We did see a drop in energy prices. In particular, gas prices were low.” CNBC’s Mike Santoli: “There’s no way to look at these numbers and say they’re not welcome news.” CNBC’s Steve Liesman: “Not only did we get a decline in inflation expectations earlier this week from the important New York Fed report … I do not see broader impacts on inflation from the tariffs.” CNBC’s Rick Santelli: “Inflation certainly looks like it is cooling.” Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo: “That is much better than expected.” Commentator Adam Johnson: “Now we’re talking about numbers that are down in the low twos — under 2.5% — and we’re seeing that now for three months in a row, so this is wonderful news.” https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/06/under-president-trump-america-is-defeating-inflation/

  31. This sentiment is often over exaggerated as if it was a self evident counter argument. It is not. You are missing the forest for the tree. Tariff raises the cost of buying, who pays the tariff does not matter. When things are more expensive, you buy less of it. Demand destruction is the end result. That being said, one way to offset tariff price hikes is inventory. When you have enough inventory to sustain demand during high tariff you can maintain price. Trump does not keep tariff at absurdly high level for long and announces them well in advance knowing importer will rush to get more inventory before tariff goes into effect. This tariff uncertainty achieves a 2nd order effect , to pause investment into the country being tariff. This may be a shock to some reading this but yes Trump is having his cake and eating it too. But you all shouldn't be surprise of how a stable genius is able to achieve this magic trick.

  34. Good Lord.... find any definition of terrorism (RCMP, UN, DOD, HLS, CF etc) and explain how she approaches any established threshold of domestic terrorism... the use and/or threat of violence is a key component and it was totally lacking here. This is purely political to the point that if I were you, I'd be concerned that my own political rivals might consider using the same unhinged extremist logic against me at some point in the future. Right now that's not the case, if you were to defend your own views in the same manner that she did I'd say exactly the same thing in your defence... this isn't about agreeing with her. The only way you can possibly make a case is by being totally bat shi% crazy at a time when you have the (temporary) political clout to do so. Wouldn't it be wise to consider that won't always be the case? I really don't think you, or anyone else for that matter would actually enjoy riding the bull you're currently poking with a stick on a full stomach. Even though that might be entertaining for some of us to watch, when it comes right down to it I'd actually hate to see you in the same predicament you seem to be cheerleading for. Isn't that attitude more inline with a society that everyone can actually cheer for?

  40. Attorney has at least three things working against him that make this an impossible situation for him. 1 - the base, especially those who crossed from the ndp, will kill him if he cancels many of those programs. 2 - he is NOT a politician! I don't know what made the twats on the left think that you DON"T want a politician when there's serious politics to deal with but if you ARENT familiar with and experienced in the political nuances of the gov't, the provincial gov'ts and some of the major advocacy players then it becomes VERY hard to push anything through. You might in time, but it will be slow and painful. and 3 - trump isn't giving him time. Trump is putting pressure on him every day and he's trying to get something going but he just can't. His 'free trade canada" plan is failing, he's already in hot water with the first nations and quebec over pipelines, business is still fleeing the country rather than coming to invest and the world economy is weak. There is NO time, he can't wait 4 years for efforts to bear fruit. the challenges he faces are challenges that a very talented experienced career professional would struggle with and he is none of those things.

  41. I.O.W. over 91% of mail in ballots were returned in time and were counted. Roughly 9% of people did not vote with their mail in ballot, sent it in too late or the bogeyman ate the ballots. Ooooooh! How scandalous !

  42. The title of the article is manipulative: "The agency said 1,321,449 mail-in ballots were issued but only 1,200,808 were tallied. It did not explain whether the 120,641 missing ballots were unused or returned too late." Did the voters not mail back the ballots? Arrived too late? Returned by not counted by Elections Canada? More details needed here.

  45. Hey, Trump is an honest guy. He just let's it all hang out. In a 2006 interview, Stern asks Trump, “Do you think you could now be banging 24-year-olds?” “Oh, absolutely,” Trump says. “Would you do it?,” asks Stern. “I’d have no problem,” Trump said. Stern then asked Trump if he has an age limit. “No, I have no age — I mean, I have age limit. I don’t want to be like Congressman Foley, with, you know, 12-year-olds.” See? He has standards! He doesn't want to be banging 12 year olds. 15 or 16 though, hey... why not? https://www.cnn.com/2016/10/08/politics/trump-on-howard-stern
