Who has more skills to deal with a global financial crisis ? One who was Bank Governor under Harper and the UK or a textbook demagogue who puts training wheels on MAGA and tries to ride it across Canada ?3 points

Right the Liberals want to give everyone free goodies but don't want the political hit of raising taxes to pay for it. So they'll make future generations pay for it, with interest, just so theycam keep getting elected. Very fiscally responsible of them. Meanwhile nobody can afford a house and our healthcare system sucks.2 points

LOL... Unfortunately popes and Romanism do not teach the truth from the King James Bible which is God's pure word. What do you think the Reformation was all about? The very existence of Popes and the Papacy is not supported by the Bible. Neither is the mass, confession to a priest, absolution, purgatory, salvation by works, and Mary worship. You better do some studying.2 points

It doesn't matter Robo. @User and @Nationalist both pointed out nobody was denied life, liberty or property. They had no legal right to be in country. And nothing at all prevents them from trying to enter using legal means moving forward. But they'll have to apply from their home countries. There's no violation there The same way that you determine without due process whether or not someone is licensed to drive a car. Or whether someone owns a piece of property. There is documentation and if the documentation indicates that the person is not from this country and has not applied for the legal permissions or rights to stay in the country then that is sufficient. They are absolutely free once they leave the country to apply to the court system if they feel something has been done unjustly and they will absolutely be given due process. But if they cannot demonstrate a right to stay in the country then they absolutely can be removed without having a court involved. If an error has occurred that has harmed them then they will have recourse through the courts. It's pretty simple2 points

Judging by Israel's actions in the GAZA strip do you think they are interested in what future generations think of them. No Israelis are fed up of this terrorism that threatens every Israelis citizen everyday, they made their choice to eliminate Hamas and do whatever it takes to do that....And if that means flattening Gaza then thats what they will do...forcing Palestinians to go someplace else....maybe BC...1 point

Ha Ha Ha. Don't let your disappointment and bitterness ruin your life LOL Accept the fact there is absolutely nothing you can do and that the Liberals are governing Canada. There is civil due process though. But the implications are different than criminal due process. Procedural Due Process Civil :: Fourteenth Amendment -- Rights Guaranteed: Privileges and Immunities of Citizenship, Due Process, and Equal Protection :: U.S. Constitution Annotated :: Justia Civil due process does NOT mean that actions aren't taken before you go to court. And that's what's baffling these guys. Civil due process means you have access to a court to challenge things. When a cop gives you a speeding ticket, he does so without consulting a court. You have the right to CHALLENGE it in court but if you don't then the ticket must be paid and is legally binding. This is different than a criminal case. If a person was deported without any ability to challenge that in the courts later, that might be unfair. For example a cop could decide YOU look "Mexican enough" and deport you before you get any chance to provide any citizenship papers. You need to have the ability to challenge that. But the fact is you still would outside of the country. You would be able to access the legal system and all the things necessary to address the fact you felt you were legal. Deportation is not in and of itself intended to be a punishment. So it does not need a court to ok it before hand. And you still have access to the courts even after deported if you wish to challenge it. Nobody has lost their due process.1 point

Last year I worked on a really, really huge building being built by a bio-agriculture company. They are growing insect protein (mealworms I think) initially as animal feed but eventually to be incorporated into human's food. Sound like a good idea - Large amounts of protein grown quickly and efficiently without clearing more forests, or adding large amounts of waste products.. This is simply a type of farming. I'd rather have a bug than a cow's rectum in my hot-dog. And if private industry is willing to invest hundreds of millions in it, there must be something to it.1 point

Commentators said that while this is usually a disadvantage, in this particular election that may very well have worked in his favor. With the threat and scare of trump and the 51st state they say voters were looking for someone who was stable and boring and calm rather than someone with a lot of energy He has no relevant skills. His first meeting with trump demonstrated that he's in just a little over his head. He's never run a country he's never even served in a public government office. He did what he was told under harper as governor of the Bank of Canada and according to literally everyone who's commented on it so far he did a crappy job in the UK. And frankly your beloved liberals just ran 10 years on hair and socks. So let's not pretend that competency is what they were after1 point

When Trudeau started his war on domestic energy, not only did he make energy consumption more expensive for Canadians, he also made it more expensive for businesses, and their higher cost to do business was passed along to consumers as well, raising the cost of everything. Then Canadians end up with less disposable income, there's less money going around (aside from what's spent paying off loans, and Canadian companies are even less competitive. If you wanted to draw up a plan for "How to screw an economy" on the board, raising energy prices only falls behind water/food shortages on the to-do list.1 point

1) You're just quoting people who don't want to acknowledge the fact that CBC propaganda, bought and paid for with BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars, had anything to do with Xi-Fanboy's win. CBC reporter: "Great win champ. How'd you do it?" Champ: "Uh, we had great goaltending and outworked the other team" Critic: "Don't you think the 64 powerplays had something to do with the win? The other team never had more than 4 skaters on the ice all night... The ref even has a tattoo of your team logo on his face. We saw you slipping him $100 bills all night" Champ & Reporter: "You're divisive." 2) As far as covid-era likability is concerned, Trudeau is a negative 100%, but again he had the CBC lying for him and covering up constantly. Most Canadians don't even know that Trudeau called the unvaxxed "racists and misogynists" and asked the public if we should even be "tolerated". FYI that's a step away from outright war.1 point

Just curious, why did you change the topic from CBC getting caught lying for Carney? Do you think it's false, that it didn't help hum, that his bribe had nothing to do with their help, or do you just not want to talk about it? It depends on what you're talking about. Leftists are dividers racially, by vax-status and along party lines. I'm not a "divider" in that regard, although I do tell inconvenient truths about leftists. As far as Canada is concerned, I am 100% in favor of splitting the country.1 point

I didn't say anything of the kind. So we're at the point where you're just lying i see. That always means one thing: You know you're wrong and you'd rather lie than admit it. Well it looks like we're on the same page. This was a mistake by carney. He isn't the grand negotiator people had hoped. Which is too bad. Hopefully he'll learn and get better. Because at the moment trump is outplaying him He showed the world Carney is on his leash, Carney comes like a dog to his master and then sits there like a good little boy while the adults talk. For trump that's enough. For carney that's terrible.1 point

The provinces gave the federal that power. It was as obvious in 1867. Ottawa can play in the provinces' compentencies without their permission. Ottawa is doing it all the time by the way. That is why the provinces wanted modifications in 1981 until they gave up everything on november 5th. So no, it's not equal. However, maybe you misunderstand me. That sovereignty is not absolute. Ottawa can change the constitution only if it gets 7 provinces and 50% of the population. Almost 100% of the countries that got their independence were from countries that had no exit clause. Most of the F.N.'s treaties are signed with the Crown and several of them are priori the creation of Canada. Alberta has a major problem because they have no treaties with the natives (unless I am missing something), so if it seperates, it has a serious problem. However, Québec did anticipated the issue and there treaties signed between Québec and first nations on its territory.1 point

There is a tendency to consider events inevitable after they have happened and to become dogmatic about causes and effects. However, there are several factors that one may reasonably imagine went down worse with Carleton voters: 1. The convoy. 2. Likeability: 3. I don't even know how this is a thing that he can't understand. Many Canadian citizens are immigrants but they don't stop being immigrants the moment they become Canadian citizens. They are still people who moved here from somewhere else and immigrated Honestly it's comments like this that make you look at the left and shake your head and they can't understand why we don't take them seriously on these subjects. At any rate, I have posted some significant research studies in the past that showed that immigrant votes actually don't amount to much and they don't vote as a block. They are also the least likely of the citizens to vote. But it would seem that that's kind of changing a little bit and many of the immigrants are extremely unhappy with how the system worked under Trudeau and they prefer the conservative stance. Obviously that something we should probably encourage and double down on if we can, it's unlikely that carney is going to stop bringing in excessive amounts of immigrants1 point

Thinking our politicians & media endlessly trashing the US & Donald Trump has backfired so hard in their face it’s going to be almost impossible to recover from. Carney running around declaring our relationship is over, we'll find new playmates, elbows up, don’t visit the US and endless vindictiveness towards them will result in us crawling with our tails between our legs begging for forgiveness. No country attacked the US or their President as hard as we did. Id10ts, all of them.1 point

Awww, is the little liberal voter upset that the conservatives made gains in ontario and that immigrants sided with the CPC? LOL! Sorry it hurts your feelings bud. The conservatives did great and made great gains, And in fact I believe they made games just about every province except maybe some of the Atlantics. And immigrants largely supported the conservatives based on the available information. So the liberals have lost the immigrant vote, the youth vote, the middle class vote, and even the working vote if the number of unions backing PP is to be believed. The only thing the libs got was the left wing ndp vote. But they're never going to be able to hold on to that for long. The conservatives are building a foundation that will be pretty hard to shake. No wonder you're complaining about people talking about it1 point

Why did Macron go? Why did Starmer go? Why did Carney visit Starmer and Macron? If you knew 1/10th of what you think you know about politics, you'd know that these are the symbolic meetings of heads of state, diplomatic niceties that start or signify the work that will be done by civil servants and trade ministers, etc... And No! - going to Mor0n-Lago is not the same as an invite to the White House. M0ron-Lago is for sycophants, lobbyists and hucksters. Trudeau shouldn't have gone there.1 point

Is that why the much poorer farmers in the Maritimes send hay to Alberta during droughts? Globe and Mail "Aug 18, 2021 — Maritime farmers ship hay to ranchers out west as months of extreme heat and little rain has left crops withering in fields across the west..." What did Alberta do for Nova Scotia after Hurricane Juan which was followed shortly by White Juan? Nothing. https://www.cbc.ca › news ›Feb 8, 2014 — "White Juan damage funding comes 10 years later - On Friday, Nova Scotia MP and Justice Minister Peter MacKay announced the province will receive $3.6 million under the Disaster Financial."
