  1. Kennedy is a certified kook. That's been known for a long time. I'm just now finding out that he's also an a-hole. His characterization of people on the spectrum is unbelievably tone deaf. And frankly, mean spirited. But back to the kookery... The guy who is overflowing with science misinformation thinks that after decades of autism research, he's going to crack the code by September? That's just nonsense. What's actually happening is that he's given himself to September to pretend like they've figured it out and craft an outcome that suits his preconceptions. That is the only point of such a timeline. If he really just wanted to prioritize autism research he would fund it and let science take its course.

  5. Wow. How can you remember what you said in one post back in February but you've already forgotten about all of Carney's recent lies? Not small lies, massive lies. At least 4 of them, and that's if he didn't lie about getting rid of the carbon tax, which he almost certainly did. Doesn't it bother you at all that Carny tells such massive lies, so frequently? Don't you wonder if he's ever telling the truth? Don't you wonder what else he's lying about? If you're being honest, you really have no clue what Carney actually wants to do as PM, because his lies are so far removed from the truth. All that you know for certain is that he will have all the exact same MP's that Trudeau did, plus the full support of the Chinese Government and the Communist bank of China.

  6. Too bad? It's not up to you to decide which questions they ask or what angles they investigate. They've no obligation to ask everyone's questions, or proportionally representative ones, especially if those questions are stupid. Believe it or not, I actually agree it's biased, and I also agree that if it wants taxpayer funds that it needs to be less politicized. I wouldn't shed many tears if it was defunded. Where we probably don't agree, however, is in the goofy MSM conspiracy theories. It's all fine and good to not trust a news group, and you should have a healthy degree of skepticism about all of them. What's problematic, however, is when you don't trust any of it, from anywhere, unless it's telling you exactly what you want to hear. Those are the donkeys following Rebel Media.

  7. I don't really care for Rebel News' way of journalism. BUT......they have reported on things the mainstream media won't touch. Like making a quick phone call to the police to find out about the arson during the convoy. That's basic and NONE of the mainstream media even did that. Rebel News was also the first and probably ONLY outlet to report (this was some years ago when the Syrian refugees were coming over) that Syrian men in their 20's were claiming to be 15 or 16 and causing havoc and harassment with young girls in the high schools in Nova Scotia. You can say Rebel is sensationalistic, but they do report things that the gov't paid media refuse to.

  8. The Liberal gov't needs to destroy what that rig stands for. That's all this is about. It says a lot about someone. Do they not wonder why the Libs are going so hard and so ferociously after Barber and Lich after pushing soft on crime legislation for the last 10 years? They were found guilty of mischief. Mischief is a misdemeanor. Do you really want the gov't doing this for misdemeanors, but letting the person who hit & run and killed a 7 year old girl in Surrey a couple weeks ago was out on bail in less than a day? What the fuque is the matter with you people?

  10. Lol nope! That's the part the federal judge confirmed they don't actually do. When asked to submit a 3-week period of their content for review, only 10 out of 400+ "articles" they published had anything even resembling original news content. Ranting uselessly about stuff and spreading 10-IQ misinformation doesn't count as news. If it did, you'd be the most prolific "journalist" in the country! 🤣

  18. These are the same complaints. No, it is the matter at hand. It's Rebel Media being Rebel Media - doing exactly what they always do. It's a tired routine and not even the least bit noteworthy outside of the folks already drinking their Kool-Aid.

  19. No, they have no said that. They overruled the debate commission's decision to bar them from attendance, and for numerous reasons. Not only has a federal judge since ruled that Rebel doesn't qualify as a news journalism organization, Rebel themselves apparently don't either, registering for this years debate as a political advocacy group.

  20. Not really a gaffe. Just another outright lie from Carney. Carney suggests today that Pierre Poilievre will use the the notwithstanding clause to ban abortion, after Pierre has said explicitly that he would not. When challenged by a reporter, he says it is a fact.

  22. Well not just that, based on the previous rulings rebel structured itself in such a way that had they won again they would have been granted by law the right to send 11 journalists. And they knew they would win that. So the commission said well how about you take five and we won't fight it. Had it gone to court rebel news would have won again and would have been granted 11 reporters to be there. I'm not actually a million percent sure that they have 11 reporters but I'm sure that is scratched up someone. The commission needs to think of a better way to invite and manage the number of people that can be sent by an organization. And it has to be something that applies fairly to everyone. But having said that it's really not easy to do That's not important in the slightest. In fact that would make it worse because if you connected those two things then it would be an contribution that wasn't registered and they would be breaking the law You're making my point for me. They're separate and they cannot be considered together and that's exactly what rebel news has set up.

  25. What bothers reasonable people is open hypocrisy, namely the questioning of reasonably objective sources like CTV, Global, CBC, and the printed press... while giving these Rebel bozos a pass. It makes us want to put you on IGNORE, because you won't concede a point. Moonbox and I don't often agree, but he/she has framed the situation in a way that passes the reason test: everybody has bias, and the CBC is possibly more biased than the rest but that doesn't mean that trying to be objective is without value.

  27. What timer in the video are you referring to? Could it be because he tried to get Ezra Levant to be booted out of the English Debate venue (which he allegedly pre-emptedly announced) , but failed? Also, I can't find the clip with him and Michel Comier (which was done before the English Debate) - I had seen it live - they had a tense moment.

  28. The "soft little bìtches" are you gutless wonders, who lack both courage and conviction. Who will sell out the American experiment entirely just to get your way. Pete Hegseth is a haircut. And, evidently, a massive security risk. If you think putting someone utterly unqualified--and dangerously so--in charge of the military makes it a "strong military," you're even dumber than you seem. I'd take a trans service person with strength of character over you creeps any day. They're worth 10 of you.

  32. Holy shit. Hegseth, the fool, also texted classified information to his family and friends! He cannot possibly keep the job--for which he is entirely unqualified--any longer. Not even in this clown show of an administration. What an utter embarrassment. The Guardian Before the US launched military strikes on Yemen in March, Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary, sent detailed information about the planned attacks to a private Signal group chat that he created himself, which included his wife, his brother and about a dozen other people,

  33. Would've been simple enough for them to say at the border "Sorry your documents are f*cked up, you're refused entry to the USA. Turn around and go back.", but they just had to make a political show of intent no matter how deplorable it made them look. Which seemed to work well with some of the fascist arseholes on this forum.

  35. Instead of banning plastics, which is a very difficult proposition when you consider bags and packing material, etc., why not stop dumping plastic into waterways. Who is actually dumping it all into the rivers, streams and oceans? That is where the government should be concentrating its efforts. Plastic should only go into recycling bins. It doesn't need to be banned. If it is all collected, it can then be melted down and recycled. Concentrate on stopping people from dumping into the environment. Simple.

  36. It's been 3 years now since the convoy, and it never ceases to amaze me how people still drool over the site of people being jailed for this. What a miserable creature one must be to take so much pleasure in this. Imagine if Liberals cared this much about jailing dangerous criminals instead of regular Canadians.
