  1. Kennedy is a certified kook. That's been known for a long time. I'm just now finding out that he's also an a-hole. His characterization of people on the spectrum is unbelievably tone deaf. And frankly, mean spirited. But back to the kookery... The guy who is overflowing with science misinformation thinks that after decades of autism research, he's going to crack the code by September? That's just nonsense. What's actually happening is that he's given himself to September to pretend like they've figured it out and craft an outcome that suits his preconceptions. That is the only point of such a timeline. If he really just wanted to prioritize autism research he would fund it and let science take its course.

  5. Wow. How can you remember what you said in one post back in February but you've already forgotten about all of Carney's recent lies? Not small lies, massive lies. At least 4 of them, and that's if he didn't lie about getting rid of the carbon tax, which he almost certainly did. Doesn't it bother you at all that Carny tells such massive lies, so frequently? Don't you wonder if he's ever telling the truth? Don't you wonder what else he's lying about? If you're being honest, you really have no clue what Carney actually wants to do as PM, because his lies are so far removed from the truth. All that you know for certain is that he will have all the exact same MP's that Trudeau did, plus the full support of the Chinese Government and the Communist bank of China.

  6. Too bad? It's not up to you to decide which questions they ask or what angles they investigate. They've no obligation to ask everyone's questions, or proportionally representative ones, especially if those questions are stupid. Believe it or not, I actually agree it's biased, and I also agree that if it wants taxpayer funds that it needs to be less politicized. I wouldn't shed many tears if it was defunded. Where we probably don't agree, however, is in the goofy MSM conspiracy theories. It's all fine and good to not trust a news group, and you should have a healthy degree of skepticism about all of them. What's problematic, however, is when you don't trust any of it, from anywhere, unless it's telling you exactly what you want to hear. Those are the donkeys following Rebel Media.

  7. I don't really care for Rebel News' way of journalism. BUT......they have reported on things the mainstream media won't touch. Like making a quick phone call to the police to find out about the arson during the convoy. That's basic and NONE of the mainstream media even did that. Rebel News was also the first and probably ONLY outlet to report (this was some years ago when the Syrian refugees were coming over) that Syrian men in their 20's were claiming to be 15 or 16 and causing havoc and harassment with young girls in the high schools in Nova Scotia. You can say Rebel is sensationalistic, but they do report things that the gov't paid media refuse to.

  8. The Liberal gov't needs to destroy what that rig stands for. That's all this is about. It says a lot about someone. Do they not wonder why the Libs are going so hard and so ferociously after Barber and Lich after pushing soft on crime legislation for the last 10 years? They were found guilty of mischief. Mischief is a misdemeanor. Do you really want the gov't doing this for misdemeanors, but letting the person who hit & run and killed a 7 year old girl in Surrey a couple weeks ago was out on bail in less than a day? What the fuque is the matter with you people?

  10. When Carney isn't doing deals with the Communist Bank of China, meeting with the Chinese Gov't, meeting with the Jiangsu Commerce Council of Canada, leading his board to vote to move high-paying jobs to NY, sticking up for his MP's who are making threats against their political opponents on behalf of the Chinese gov't, hiring new MP's who are brimming with love for mother China, or giving the CBC a Billion dollar raise right before the election, he's lying to Canadians. A lot. You remember all the lies, right? Because CBC is talking about them. Kinda. Not really. Welllll, not at all. But it's not because CBC is biased, and we know that because Trudeau gave the CBC and other media toadies hundreds of millions of dollars to ensure media integrity during the elections. We're solid. Oh, and Carney even gave the CBC a Billion dollar raise when he announced the next election, so you know that CBC is honest too. Wellll, except for that one time that Rosemary Barton lied a couple days ago. Either that or she thought that she remembered a mass grave of children being discovered in Canada recently. Let's be honest: did she lie, or did she really get so overwhelmed by all the CBC propaganda about "there just have to be some mass graves of indigenous children at rez schools, because Canadians are so racist, that's the kind of thing that people would here, and could get away with" that she just felt like she remembered a mass grave being discovered? What's worse: if she actually lied, or if she was so overwhelmed by CBC's propaganda that she actually thought that she remembered the discovery of conclusive proof of a residential school mass-murder? We all remember that it was proven that there wasn't one in Kamloops, why didn't she remember that? Was CBC's coverage of that so scant that she forgot about it? But enough about CBC's main political correspondent lying to Canadians, here's a refresher course on Carney's main, proven lies: From Western Standard: "I do not have a connection with Brookfield Asset Management. I resigned all my positions because I am all in for Canada. The formal decision of the Board happened after I ceased to be on the Board." (Fact: Carney was the chairman of the board at Brookfield when the board voted to move to NY) The Standard goes on to say 'a December 1 letter to shareholders, signed by Carney, called the relocation “in the best interests of Brookfield Asset Management”.' Same article: "Carney also declined to clarify his claim that he personally helped balance the 1998 federal budget. At the time, he was a 33-year-old economics student at Oxford, not working for the Canadian government". Carney constantly lies about his role in helping Canada avoid the 2008 recession. He wasn't the main guy, he wasn't even close to being the number 2 guy. He was the number 3 guy, and our own laws prevented him from making the same kinds of mistakes that the US made. It's beyond revolting for him to try and take the credit for something that was obviously not his own doing Carney actually slandered the Globe and Mail in his next lie. He said that he never met with the Jiangsu Commerce Council of Canada, but he did meet with them, and he even had pictures taken with them. (Toronto Sun) “Well, I’m sorry, but you can’t believe everything you read in The Globe and Mail,” Carney said. Is it worse if he lied, or he met with them unwittingly? Here's how the CBC broaches the topic of Carney's [main] lie about Brookfield. This is their own words, 100%. It's a pure, unedited "cut and paste" job: Conservatives say Carney is lying about his role moving investment firm's office to U.S. Formal decision to move Brookfield's head office made after he resigned, Carney says Liberal leadership contender Mark Carney helped steer two G7 economies through turbulent times and his track record as a central banker earned him praise and offers to serve on the board of directors of some prominent businesses, non-profits and philanthropic organizations, including one of Canada's largest publicly traded companies, Brookfield Asset Management (BAM). Now, the Liberal leadership front-runner is facing scrutiny for some of the decisions taken by BAM during his time as board chairman — including one to move the company's head office from Toronto to the U.S. Carney downplayed his role in that decision at a news conference on Tuesday night after the Liberal leadership debate, saying it was a decision formally made by the board after he left the company in January. But company documents show the board approved the move in October 2024, and the decision was affirmed by shareholders at a meeting late last month. The wording of the investor relations document announcing the office move in October makes it clear the company wasn't waiting for shareholder approval. [later in the CBC article] A spokesperson for Carney told CBC News that Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is "desperate to misrepresent Mark's serious experience in business because he has no economic experience whatsoever." From waaaaay later in the article: "The formal decision of the board happened after I ceased to be on the board. I do not have a connection with Brookfield Asset Management and no longer have a role obviously as I resigned in the middle of January," he said. "I'm all in for Canada, all in for this leadership, all in during this time of crisis to build our great country." Here's how CBC's article ranks on the truthometer: The conservatives didn't "accuse him", they "caught him". And that's based on documents that the CBC got access to. They just quoted him, that part is 'fine'. The article starts off with a nice rim-job for Carney... I'd love for a CBC/Trudeau/Carney apologist to try to find an article by the CBC that starts off with unnecessary flattery of Pierre Poilievre Eventually CBC got around to telling the truth Doesn't seem like such a big deal, but it's the only quote from anyone in that article on the topic of whether or not Canadians believe Carney lied... what does that quote have to do with Carney's lie? Why did CBC just let them off on an obvious deflection from the topic? Why did CBC just allow that gratuitous slander against Poilievre into their article when it was just, again, an obvious deflection? Are there any random insults against Carney in that article, or just all that random praise from CBC themselves? Does the CBC really not have a quote from anyone in the Bloc, NDP, Greens, or anywhere else that calls that a lie? No one else on planet earth thinks that Carney lied? It's just "conservative party members" who think that? That quote is in the center of "pants on fire territory", right on the upper level of seriousness. It was a LIE. 100.0%. A total fabrication. Still, the CBC couldn't find a quote from ANYONE who wasn't a member of the conservative party, so it seems as if this just remains a "CPC accusation", as far as that article is concerned. "I'm all in for Canada, all in for this leadership, all in during this time of crisis to build our great country". When he said that, it was part of a lie to Canadians which proved that he was actually more concerned about Brookfield than Canadian jobs. Summary: Carney is a monumental liar. CBC are monumental liars and propagandists. Has CBC, to this day, found anyone who thought that Carney was a liar, side from Conservative MP's? Questions for leftists: Do you agree that Carney is a serial liar? If not, then how do you explain away all of these massive lies from just the last few months? Can you name some similar lies that Poilievre was caught in, from his 21 years as an MP serving Canadians? Carney told more lies in TWO MONTHS than Poilievre told in TWENTY-ONE YEARS. Prove me wrong. 😘

  16. Now the Mad King is tanking the markets even further because he’s butthurt over an opinion Dow ends down nearly 1,000 points after Trump’s latest tirade against Fed’s Powell U.S. stocks suffered steep losses on Monday as President Donald Trump ramped up his attacks on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, prompting investors to worry about the central bank’s independence even as they grapple with the effects of Trump’s ongoing, erratic trade war. All three major indexes tumbled more than 2%, and the U.S. dollar continued to get hammered, sinking to a three-year low against a basket of major currencies. The equity selloff was less intense in Canada, thanks largely to another surge in gold prices to fresh record highs. Trump escalated his criticism of Powell on Monday, saying the U.S. economy is headed for a slowdown “unless Mr. Too Late, a major loser, lowers interest rates NOW,” in a bellicose Truth Social post which raised concerns over the Fed’s autonomy…. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/markets/inside-the-market/market-news/article-premarket-stocks-dollar-slide-as-trumps-attacks-on-fed-shake-markets/

  20. WTF are you talking about? You’re not even making sense anymore. LMAO nice try. Trudeau didn’t “damage the world economy” no matter how tortured your logic is. That really was a sad and pathetic attempt there even for you. And yet there was no market crash, no mass unemployment and no inflation prior to covid And yet the inflation magically fixed itself under Trudeau…until Trump came along. Look every single country in the world had the exact same economic problems during and after Covid and most of them responded to those with policies similar to Trudeaus which proves it was not entirely self-inflicted amd he wasn’t a madman going rogue against established wisdom and economic theory. You TDS must be severe to put that on the same level as what Trump has done to economies, diplomatic relations and political stability AROUND THE WORLD. Trump has tanked market and sparked inflation around the world. He has several damaged NATO and foreign relations for years to come. He has changed the political fortunes of political parties throughout the west. While I’m happy that he has accidentally destroyed right wing parties throughout Canada and Europe I note that it was ALL BY ACCIDENT

  25. No, it's not. There's no requirement to be a journalist to attend. All you have to do is be an organization that: covers political, social and policy issues. https://www.debates-debats.ca/en/news/2025/opens-media-accreditation/ As mentioned, not only has Rebel's status as a journalism organization been denied, that ruling has been confirmed on appeal recently by a federal court judge. They do almost literally zero journalism, which again is likely why they registered as a political advocacy group.

  27. Here's a "question" from Keean Bexte: "You're hoping that Canadians won't connect the dots... the man that moved Paul Bernardo from a maximum security prison is your chief of staff..." It's not a question, it's an accusation. They're there to elect Poilievre, period. They also stacked the line and were said to have added extra people. There's no way a podcast/scandal sheet should have the same number of questions as a national broadcaster. I couldn't expect to go there and ask more questions than anyone, as a 3rd party advocacy group or fledgling journalist...
    1 point
  28. Again, that's not how it works. Journalists report the actual news, not the news that you want to hear. Because they weren't even really asking questions. They were peddling grievances and making accusations disguised as questions. Rebel "News" is in the business of crying foul about confrontations they themselves start. How many videos have we seen from these clowns of them jamming mics in people's faces and yelling asshat questions at them, and then crying foul when someone shoves the mic away or pushes them aside? A LOT.
    1 point
  29. The challenge becomes who gets to define them as clowns? If we say that the government does then that gives the government the power to determine anybody's account. How about the CBC? They frequently have skits on this hour has 22 minutes that only attack conservatives and never do one for the liberals or NDP. Literally clowns that he would say. So if the conservatives form government can they ban the CBC from attending any event? The group who is tasked with determining whether or not they have a right to be there is the courts and the courts have ruled. If we let any other group be the arbitrator of who is and isn't a serious journalist then we essentially give up the idea of freedom of the press. Now there are those who suggest maybe we should be giving that up and I suppose someone can make an argument one way or another but as long as we believe in the freedom of the press then we have to respect that there are many Canadians who like the kind of reporting rebel does. I don't watch them but obviously someone does and every once in a blue moon they do come out with a story that nobody else covered that is interesting
