I'm kind of surprised the Libs are focusing so much on Carney being an economist and his "saving" the Uk economy and claiming he single-handedly "saved" Canada's economy. The UK economy is tanking bad and after Carney advising the Libs for the last 4 years at least, our's is circling the toilet bowl, too. I don't think Carney is the "economist" they are trying to portray. There are a lot of different kinds of economists. It's like a dermatologist saying, "Well, I can perform neurosurgery because I'm also a doctor and the face is close to the brain, so....."

I watch this channel a lot - Northern Perspective. They admit a Conservative slant, but I find their videos very informative, they explain parliamentary procedure a lot. They interview a lot of parliamentarians. Anyways, this Liberal guy did an interview with them, which was a fascinating look into the brain of a die-hard Liberal supporter. I don't think they listen to what they themselves are saying. At one point, he is talking about how they knew the tariffs were coming, even gives months of examples, including Trump openly saying they were coming. Then, like 5 minutes later, when asked about proroguing parliament he says, "Well, we wouldn't have done it had we known the tariffs were coming." It's the circular nonsense coming from Libs right now that is totally turning me off. It's like they say whatever they have to at any given moment, to get out of whatever situation, totally forgetting what they had said previously. As an aside, the couple who run the channel - Ryan & Tanya - used to use avatars and keep their identities on the down-low, as Ryan was employed by the gov't. In the last year, he was required to report any extra earnings directly to his boss and honestly reported the channel. He was given the ultimatum - give up the channel or lose your job. He chose to give up his job with the gov't and continue with honest reporting, so they don't use the avatars anymore.

Does that not reinforce the point that UHC in Canada is not all that cracked up it is to be...some Canadians get lucky in their care but not are so lucky 5 patients have died in NB health care hospitals waiting in the waiting rooms....to see a doctor, due to a whole list of issues...it is in crises' mode, thats not complaining thats pointing out a problem that needs to be fixed...

One thing that was interesting from Carney's press conference yesterday - a reporter noted he went to church that morning and asked if his religious beliefs would affect his policies on abortion and he said no. But the Libs hammer the Conservative (supposedly a more religious group) on abortion all the time, saying their religious beliefs will make them ban all abortion. Like I've said before - I don't think the Libs hear what they themselves are saying. They just say whatever is politically expedient in the moment.
