  1. Every day the cultists start 3 or 4 new threads about how the US is a dictatorship, Trump is Hitler, the US is now fascist... Is there really too much stupidity and ignorance to cram into one thread? If there have to be 3 new threads every day just to start slight variations of the exact same topic, doesn't that warrant a whole new forum? 2. @Libbies - So you lost the presidential election to your hated foe...Donald J Trump. Well Libbies...you asked for it. Brandon was...as we all knew all along...an empty vessel. So once you couldn't hide that fact anymore, you chose the most unpopular biatch you had in your stable and tried in vain to choke her down America's throat. I suppose y'all figured there was so much hatred for Trump that even Kamala could beat him. You were wrong. And that knowledge is burning you to the core. Trump told America and the world what he was gonna do. He had Musk...a man most of you idolized until he took your Twitter toy away...at many rallies and made no bones about what he wanted Elon to do. Well he's doing it and its driving you jack-asses insane with rage and frustration. All the gravy-train funds...gone. All the government workers Brandon hired to pump up employment numbers...being driven out. Your open border...closed. All your slaves and the criminals that came in with them...being unceremoniously rounded up and deported. All your economy destroying Greenie crap...being dismantled. Your killing fields and odd love for a country most of you had no idea where it was...ending. The Eurogarbage and the EU...being put in its place. Indeed...you dumb fcks lost everything you all worked so hard to build...at the expense of your own compatriots. Its unfortunate it all had to come to this but, you silly twits BEGGED for this sort of reaction. You assumed a moral high ground when in reality you were destroying every single thing you touched. You warped the legal system so you could try to destroy your political foe. And now you're all scared sh1tless that reciprocity is coming...which it most certainly is. Its over Libbies. By the time Trump is done, oil and gas will be flowing again, the economy will turn, the infamous WALL will be completed, the wars will be over and the government agencies will be leaner, more effective and much less expensive. The wise thing to do right now would be for you freaks to get onboard and work WITH the Trump administration and try to show the American public that you're really not the traitorous little sh1ts y'all come across as. But alas...I doubt very much that any of you have that level of patriotism or common sense. Thus I say...let the chickenshit feathers fly. Show America and the world what childish little Tweenkies you really are. Scream...whine...lie...do your worst Libbies. And always remember...At least Gawd loves you. Even though you loudly reject him. Goofs.

  3. bear in mind how these Democrats only drip fed the Ukrainians don't give them enough to win, just enough to keep them in the trenches forever Imagine being an Ukrainian trying to avoid the draft Donald Trump would be your only hope at this point who wants to die just to take back the Donbass which is ethnically Russian anyways ? I got a Ukrainian guy right here staying with my Russian neighbours why is he here ? he doesn't want to die for Crimea the Ukrainian draft dodgers are fleeing to Canada, just like the American leftists in the Vietnam War

  4. Why would he have to cancel it has there been any funding put towards the project, it will be forgotten come election time.......or is it just Justin farting in the wind, as per normal......this has zero chance of surviving the election, be it liberal or conservative...I mean come on is this really what the country needs ahead of tariffs, and all that brings....

  5. I don't care to see anyone banned Mike, and I see a lot of insults here. That said, if I had to pick one person most likely to be banned it would without question be Black Dog. I have not really had any pissing matches with him myself. No ill towards the guy or anything. But when an argument isn't going his way he starts calling people pedos. He has made numerous posts in different threads about another forum member having an attraction to his own children. He is very vulgar. He is not the only one who ever gets vulgar. But he is by far the most. No one else is close. And it doesn't bother me personally because I have heard a lot worse in my life, but once again, if I had to pick one person....

  7. Whoa Whoa there. 4 years and $216 million spent and not one shred of evidence was found to substantiate the accusations and claims. What is disgusting is your accusation it is that what "we" dislike. What is disgusting is you accusing anyone that the effort and actions were not thorough. Fact is millions of dollars and 4 years of effort have been fruitless in proving indigenous accusations..... that is what is disgusting....indigenous lies that have to be proven once again to appease the few.

  8. This shame and disgrace will stick for a long, long time. How can one wash it off, I've no idea. Belorusia. North Korea. Nicaragua. A bunch of African dictatorships. And the United States .. of what? Shame. Disgrace.

  9. Trump is a man born with a silver spoon in his mouth who came home from his birth in a limousine. All his life he's had everything he wanted except one thing: respect. No one has ever respected him. He was never able to earn the respect of his peers as a young man because he was a dishonest bully. He was never able to earn the respect of his peers as a businessman because he was a crooked, incompetent, lying bully. This has led him to be a very bitter man. You ever see the man laugh? Or even smile? Despite everything he has he's always angry, resentful and bitter, feeling like everyone's against him. He wants revenge on those who won't respect him, who mock him. And while he's not smart enough to figure out how, some of the grifters and lickspittles around him are. Which is why they're replacing anyone in government who can say no to him with loyalists. We've seen how much he fawns over dictators, how much he respects them because no one dares criticize them in their countries, and wants to be one. In every part of the government that involves the use of force — the military, the investigation and prosecution of crimes, the authority to arrest, the capacity to hold individuals in jail — Trump is putting into power people who are more loyal to him than they are to the United States. He has purged (or is in the process of purging) at the highest levels of the Department of Defense, the Justice Department, the Department of Homeland Security, the Inspectors General, and the FBI, anyone who is not personally loyal to him. Ignore the Trump noise machine — here's what he's really trying to do - Alternet.org

  10. The irony of the whole thread is that he can't argue with MAGA because he doesn't know what he's talking about.

  12. I'm sure this is mentioned in other threads, but I don't see a thread ABOUT it. This is obviously a troll job. Getting Canadians all worked up. Now he can take credit for JT's resignation. But why does everything this guy talk about have to be taken seriously. Is he going to annex Canada? Make us a singular state? Or treat us fairly and admit each province as their own sub-sovereign territory. PEI gets a congressman and two senators? Quebec can form their own alternative party to screw with their two-party system? We know he hasn't thought this through. It's just rhetoric. But I know this site is full of people that support Trump. What do you think the end-game here is? And if you are taking this seriously, how does this get done?

  13. He said EU had $230 billion frozen Russian assets. As long as the war continues EU have the money in their pockets. Even if the wars ends, as long as Russia is identified as the aggressor, they will still keep the money or maybe use the money under the name of rebuilding Ukraine, to buy goods only from EU companies with far higher price than market price, so they will virtually have the money in their pocket. In short, they won't directly give these money to Ukraine so Ukrainian can use them freely to buy goods from anywhere they wants. I guess this is why EU insists to continue the war and identify Russia as the aggressor. If Russia wasn't the aggressor, they would have no excuses to seize these assets but have to return them to the rightful owner once the war was ended. US on the other hand, doesn't have many Russian assets within their grasp. This is why Trump wants Ukraine to pay the bill for US aid but European always say "Russia should pay for it".

  14. Trump is installing what scholars call patrimonialism. His mass firings, defiance of laws, disregarding the plain language of statues, court rulings, and the Constitution, antagonizing allies, incursion into the arts (naming himself the chair of the Kennedy Centre) all support this idea. As he installs patrimonialism, Trump sees the state as “little more than (his) extended household” … the state does “not exist as a separate entity.” Rather, he is running it as if it were his personal property or family business. When he declares “He who saves the Country does not violate any Law.” – he is claiming to be the symbolic father of the people - or according to Tucker Carlson “Daddy” (who should give the country a vigorous spanking) – the state’s personification and protector – a hallmark of patrimonialism. Patrimonialism infects government by replacing impersonal, formal lines of authority with personalized, informal ones, like announcing out of nowhere the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico, or a U.S. occupation of Gaza, or having your number-two man (an unelected billionaire) send out an email to thousands of federal employees asking them what they did last week and a failure to respond would be taken as a resignation. Patrimonialism may transition to full-blown authoritarianism. “…as patrimonialism snips the government’s procedural tendons, it weakens and eventually cripples the state … Electoral processes and constitutional norms cannot survive long when patrimonial legitimacy begins to dominate the political arena…” Patrimonialism is based on individual loyalty and connections, on rewarding friends and punishing enemies. As one prominent Republican said of Trump, “If you’re his friend, he’s your friend. If you’re not his friend, he’s not your friend.” The main ruling principle of patrimonialism is: “Stay on the ruler’s good side, or else.” Trump is even spearheading a purge of prosecutors who investigated January 6 for no other reason than they did their job. Trump is patrimonialism’s “perfect organism.” He recognizes no distinction between what is public and private, legal and illegal, formal and informal, national and personal. “He can’t tell the difference between his own personal interest and the national interest, if he even understands what the national interest is,” John Bolton, who served as national security adviser in Trump’s first term, told The Bulwark. The question now is: How long will the American people allow Trump to run the country according to his arbitrary whims, for no other reason than to exploit it for his own political, personal and financial gain?

  15. @TreeBeard 1) Polls are always fake, and the polls in NA are all designed to make the Dems/Libs look good. Whatever they say, it's pretty standard that you flip them by 5% in favour of the conservatives. 2) https://newsinteractives.cbc.ca/elections/poll-tracker/canada/ That's Feb 23. With any luck, the Bloc will shut the LPOC out of Quebec, and the NDP will sap enough votes away from them to keep their overall numbers in the low single-digits. I think the NDP will win a few seats in BC and Ontario, that's it. If this country is going to survive, we need a strong majority for Poilievre.

  19. In much simpler terms, Trump is governing without regard to Congress or the Courts. That's what dictators do. He knowingly breaks the law and then says try and stop me. That's what dictators do.

  20. hilariously, Canada is proposing to spend $4 billion ; just to study the project when the Chinese could build the whole thing for $16 billion Canada is simply not capable of building these sorts of projects at all, due to inherent governing sclerosis Canada is all about rent seeking entrenched interests, to the point of total paralysis therein

  23. The fact the French debate was in Montreal is understandable but, the English debate being in Montreal too is what is immoral. We have too long been led by Quebecers. As for the debate...Liberals talking about how they will handle Trump is a comedy show. Trump hates Trudeau and whomever his successor will be has no chance either. Liberals are just Canadian Democrats......despised by Trump.

  24. That's not your bet. That's you saying any damn stupid thing that pops into your teeny tiny little head because you decided you don't like him because he's not part of your tribe. It's not because you care about Canada, it's not because you've made a reasonable assumption or assessment of his abilities it is only an exclusively because you don't like him. And this is really not the time for that kind of bullshit. This is the time when decent Canadians and decent people stand up and do the right thing. It is painfully obvious to anybody with half a brain that Kearney is the wrong person. Jag meet isn't even an option. And pierre will do just fine against trump. It's going to be painful but it's going to be painful no matter who is in charge but I have a hell of a lot more faith that PP will do a good job and I can articulate why. All you can say is me no likey other people. Find most of the time but maybe this isn't the time for that kind of partisan bullshit
