1. It's not denied the vote. Everyone is able to order a new birth certificate and typically takes 3-4 weeks 2. Non citizens shouldn't be voting2 points

Unless we get an official diagnosis from a Doctor that actually tested him I take this stuff with a grain of salt. We can't be hypocrites and argue the same thing when MSNBC brings on a Psychiatrist to say that Trump has something wrong with him without actually seeing him personally. It is obvious the liberal media has been given the green light to go after Biden to force him out of the race.2 points

It's hard to believe a lying fraud artist with over a dozen accusing him of sexual assault and a hundreds of million dollar fine over one, who cheated on his wife with a porn star, paid her off with $130,000 to keep her mouth shut and tried to write that off as a business expense, and routinely hung with a child sex trafficker could possibly do such a thing. 🙄2 points

There's a big difference. One is describing history in a neutral fashion, the other is promoting the 'heros of the story' so to speak. Are these the same?: The October Revolution was a revolution in Russia led by the Bolshevik Party of Vladimir Lenin that was a key moment in the larger Russian Revolution of 1917–1923 And During the October revolution, The oppressed people who'd been treated unfairly rose up under the heroic leadership of Vlad Lennin and brought an end to the evil empire that had hurt them for so long. Who here thinks they could stand up like lenin did? There's a difference. One is educational the other is promotional. If a school spends a week going over the history of gay rights, that's one thing. If a school spends a month flying gay flags, requiring people and teachers to wear gay paraphenalia, teaches that it's really great to be gay and here's some homosexual techniques you can try (yes-really happened) then that is something very different. And it's offensive to those who have a different view on the morality of homosexuality. Don't mistake me here - i'm on the 'gay is good' side of the fight. But i don't for a moment accept this being forced down people's throat and i know with 100 percent certainty that instead of making gays more welcome it will create more divisions and foster hatred to do so.2 points

House passes bill to require proof of citizenship when registering to vote (nypost.com) This really needed to happen. We'll see if biden vetos it. The us has to start making it hard to cheat. IT doesn't matter if people are cheating or not, if it's easy to cheat then people will assume there was cheating. The dems are sure pissed that it'll be hard for illegals to cheat tho Makes you wonder1 point

I tried to have a productive discussion about voting laws and you didn't want to hear it. Someone posts something and you don't want to understand it. And then you ask about hormonal imbalances and call someone icky. True conservatives demand more than that of themselves when they engage in democracies. Otherwise we should just vote based on mud wrestling... I'm just saying.1 point

Leftists: "CONSERVATIVES LIE ALL THE TIME! TRUMP LIES ALL THE TIME!!!" Conservative: "Name some of those lies." Leftists: "Well, there was the time that 12 droplets of rain fell in 17 minutes at Trump's inauguration, and he said "it didn't rain". That's our 'GOTCHA' moment. His lie was way worse than when Biden continuously said "There's no inflation" or "I had no knowledge of Hunter's overseas business dealings." Those were more like fibs than lies. Also, Trump said that he didn't collude with Russians 20,000 times. That's 20,000 lies." Conservative: "But Trump didn't collude with Russia, so those weren't lies." Leftist: "Well, we called them all lies at the time, and we're liars anyways, so we're just gonna leave all of those comments in the 'lie' category. Then we can just say "Trump lied 30,000 times" and none of our cultists will check - they'll believe anything - and conservatives are sick of trying to reason with us so they just let us be. What can I say? It just always works on low-IQ voters."1 point

Normally I would, but he's like a malaria carrier. I can spare myself the direct effect of his belligerent stupidity, but not from infecting every other part of the forum I'd still see all of his topic spam. He'd still be derailing every thread he joins with his fragile blustering and desperate need for acknowledgement. His puke would still be everywhere, ignore feature or not.1 point

And yet when we were in a similar situation with Trudeau the Elder back in the 1970s we hit 2% of GDP after brow-beating from our allies. During a trade mission to West Germany the Chancellor told him “no tanks, no trade” and Canada soon afterwards bought the Leopard 1 fleet. A fleet of CF-18s came soon afterwards. So perhaps there are still levers to pull and consequences to be had.1 point

Recently, Joe Biden had a fundraiser attended by many Hollywood elites (his base) who were all enthusiastically endorsing Joe and criticizing anyone who dared to question his cognitive ability. Now just a few weeks later, they have changed their tune. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/biden-pressure-democrat-donors-1.7259903 They can't be that stupid that they couldn't see he is in decline. It seems they would be fine with it as long as it seemed like Joe was going to still win.1 point

Then vote at one of the advanced polls to prevent that. That way if you forget you can go the next day. That's the stupidest reason ever. If you're going to vote be responsible enough to bring your id. We do this already in canada and it has never been an issue. Not a single one. Then they need to go home and get their id. In canada you need picture id, OR they'll accept TWO official letters with your name on it such as a phone bill or hydro bill etc, OR you can even have someone who is assigned to that riding who HAS proved their id sign a document that they know you live in the riding and are a citizen. If someone still can't vote with all of those choices then then that's their CHOICE, not a problem with the system. They chose not to be responsible enough to bring their id, they chose to wait till the last minute, etc It's like saying that the system is unfair because you have to go all the way to the polling station. What if you had a flat tire? Or that you had to mail something in. What if you don't feel like walking to the post office box? If you can't be responsible enough to vote, then you choose not to vote.1 point

We have a nude beach at lake tahoe. Lots of signage so one can't say that you came to it by accident. Besides only two ways.. one in which is very treacherous. Been here for 14 years and never heard a single complaint. The nude beach is regarded much like an adult shop.1 point

It's because he supported and continues to support, everything and anything the gov't does. He supports censorship and firing of anybody who has a different view than himself (which is exactly whatever the gov't tells him to think). This is why he can insist that "the vast majority of doctors" think the jabs are miracles of science, when really it was the same approx 5 junior docs or interns repeatedly interviewed on MSM - and tens of thousands of doctors and scientists DISAGREE. Just cancel and dismiss them because that's what the gov't wants and eyeball is a stooge, a useful idjit. And ignore hundreds of studies and datasets. Just ignore them. His protestations that he disagrees with any aspect of gov't is a farce - he supports anything and everything they do unconditionally. He's a gov't drone who cannot think for himself - he needs and welcomes the gov't thinking for him and that's why he RAGES when others can think critically and ask pertinent questions. He does not believe the gov't should be questioned, on anything, ever.1 point

I think this is a" pure political" announcement primarily to pappease the NATO members that Canada is willing to increase to 2% of GDP on defence. I personally do not think it will happen at all. All political parties in power make announcements like this when close to election time. The Liberals have little chance of getting elected so this will fall away. I also am quite sure PP will just cancel if it ever came to fruition before the election. Lastly we cannot man our present fleets, surface and subsurface, so they would just sit dockside like our fleets are now LOL1 point

Which provides the opportunity for progressives to continually be shocked by the dynamics of mass immigration. How do simple unintended consequences entirely escape their notice? Never mind cultural differences or any of the challenges that entails for the moment, if you are going to import enough people to fill 4 cities the size of Thunder Bay without considering infrastructure (like housing, medical access, policing etc) then I would suggest that "shock" is inevitable and I'd also ask "what did you think was going to happen?" And in terms of cultural differences, progressives seem truly "shocked" that Muslims don't share their values when it comes to having things like gay pride, drag queen story time, pornographic material in class rooms etc thrust upon them. If expats working in wealthy Islamic states live in (i'll call it) segregated communities and refuse to adapt to local customs why would we expect that people coming here would react differently than we do under (essentially) the same circumstances in reverse? That's not to say it can't be done, only that it can't be done by pretending that radically different values coupled with demographic concentrations isn't a source of friction or an issue worthy of consideration. The title of the thread (itself) speaks to the issue and any brief perusal of threads on this very forum stands as a testament to the lack of compromise that any successful integration effort needs to overcome. It's breathtaking to me that those (right here) who are most resistant to compromise and the simple idea of "live your life and mind your own damn business" seem to think that everyone other than them has a duty to yield to their values in support of a progressive narrative that borders on religious dogma. I confidently predict more shocked disappointment on the horizon... The notion that touchdown in Canada combined with the briefest sniff of Canadian air results in profound cultural epiphanies provides limitless opportunity for the implosion of progressive heads. .1 point

Because I don't know that for certain and it's a major accusation. The accusation re: China isn't so bad imo because I feel like what they did to babies was far worse, although riskier. Yeah, I'd be surprised if Fauci at al intentionally unleashed covid on the whole planet, knowing that it targets Americans (old & fat) more than any other group. I think Fauci is scum, but that's a stretch. Not all conservatives take the exact same opinion on every facet of every argument every time. We're not like the cultist leftards. I partly agree/disagree with conservatives constantly. IMO it's normal. I'm not sure what you're referring to, if anything. It seems like you're talking straight out of your ass again. Whatever you slithery little piece of crap. So where are you at now, for the 80,000th time? Do you acknowledge that multi-vaxed people die of covid? That they spread it? Do you acknowledge that covid deaths went up by 30% and the MSM just stopped talking about them? I can't even talk to you about this until you reveal which stage of delusion you're stuck in...1 point

This Mt Cashel scandal was major news in 1989-90. In fact, the CBC produced a movie called The Boys of St.Vincent which was broadcast in late 1992. I had never heard of any sexual abuse scandals involving the Catholic Church at the time, and this predated the American scandal (Boston) by over a decade.1 point

Wrong. Israel, unlike any of its neighbours, strives to exist for the benefit of all her citizens. The State of Israel will be open to the immigration of Jews from all countries of their dispersion; will promote the development of the country for the benefit of all its inhabitants; will be based on the precepts of liberty, justice, and peace taught by the Hebrew Prophets; will uphold the full social and political equality of all its citizens, without distinction of race, creed, or sex; will guarantee full freedom of conscience, worship, education, and culture; will safeguard the sanctity and inviolability of the shrines and Holy Places of all religions; and will dedicate itself to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations. https://israeled.org/resources/documents/israel-declaration-independence/#:~:text=The State of Israel will, the full social and political1 point

I don't doubt this is true. I've lived amongst some of the most racialized parts of the country and was a bit shocked to discover that racialized Canadians are generally more racist than white Canadians, especially against other racialized groups.
