The Anti-israel protesters you mean? Sure sounds that way - the protesters had sticks and immediately jumped into it with the counter protesters - they were ready for violence and welcomed it. So much for 'peaceful' ROFLMAO!!!! Well i guess that's your way of admitting you've got no argument so you hope a hissy fit will cover that up Sorry snowflake - didn't mean to 'trigger' ya you big mad bro? Sure, and when even the dumbest guy in the room can see that these protesters are violent and destructive that's pretty bad If you meant hundreds of thousands you're probably right. between extra police costs damage repair, cleaning , etc. Now I realize that's a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of money that the black lives matter people That you also support caused in 2021 but it's still a decent amount of money. Yep. It's literally your definition. there was no chance of overthrowing the gov't on the 6th but these paid protesters are doing everything that you claimed made the 6th an insurrection, Woooah I haven't seen a meltdown like that since Chernobyl! Easy Snowflake, here I'll get you a puppy and a safe space!2 points

So, you are basically proving the earlier point here. That folks like you on the left cheer on the lawlessness when it suits you.2 points

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s Theater of the Absurd entered its third week, still without any evidence of crimes committed by the accused. Playwright Samuel Beckett would be proud. The Trump hush money trial is like "Waiting for Godot" —a chaotic and nonsensical plot of absurdist fiction. The titular Godot, of course, never arrives. It is an apt metaphor for Bragg’s case against Donald Trump. Jurors may be waiting in vain for criminal offenses that don’t actually exist in the law. All of which makes it a trial in search of an imaginary crime. But the District Attorney seems utterly unbothered that his charges are mutable, ill-defined, illusory, or just plain absent. Instead, he’s contrived a histrionic legal fable meant to fool the jury into thinking that Trump should be convicted for assignations with nefarious people like his ex-lawyer and convicted perjurer, Michael Cohen, as well as erstwhile porn star, Stormy Daniels. ................ Any honest, knowledgeable, and intelligent judge would have long ago tossed the case. Instead, it was given to Juan Merchan. His conspicuous bias against Trump is exceeded only by his seeming incompetence. NY vs. Trump: A trial in search of an imaginary crime | Fox News2 points

Yes, but under the circumstances, completely necessary. The American Revolution was illegal too, when it happened. But it wasn't just used to end the protests and blockades in Ottawa and at the US border. Trudeau is a narcissistic megalomaniac, and the martial law we had here was about much more than just that. The Act was supposed to be restricted to regions facing an actual violent threat, not just economic hardship, but they applied it country-wide with no legal mandate to do so, and as a result the gov't was able to shut down all forms of protest or even public complaints against their beloved vax anywhere in the country. It also gave the police broader powers to spy on those dastardly anti-vaxers, and to shut down the bank accounts of anyone who did business with them. It even gave police the right to seize people's belongings, which they did. It's disgusting that the NDP still support Trudeau as a legitimate PM of Canada.2 points

Et voila. Nice doggie...giggle. As always is the case, Libbies just cannot and will not face scrutiny. At least you know enough to understand the word...and know you have none. As I've postulated, Libbey respect lives on a sliderule. Same with honor and truth. Meh...Libbies...1 point

I don't suppose you have a source or the policy that states this is by design by the Israelis government or is this here say ? Your talking about issues in the west bank, which is not related to Hamas in Gaza at all, two different governments.1 point

So all you have are puerile insults, pathetic. The protestors committing violence has been all over the news for the past 3 days.1 point

Maybe you really have no clue what it means... but after your repeated posts ignoring what I shared with you about the Pro-Life flag, I have my doubts that you are being anything other than purposefully less than honest in your dealings here. The foundation of the Pro-Life movement is on the premise that the unborn child is a human life with a right to life and it is wrong to kill it. Hence... Pro-LIFE, as in the LIFE of that unborn child. I mean really, you don't have to agree to be honest enough to acknowledge what it is others believe or to discuss what it is they believe. Back to that whole courtesy thing you demand of others but not yourself... Another strawman. I did not hand wave away the birth process. The point here is that nothing magical or even physical happens during that birth process that changes what a baby is other than its location as it moves through and out. Of course there are many differences, but not for what the unborn child is. That is what we are discussing here. There are a lot of differences between a person in outerspace and a person in the desert too, that we could list out forever... but they are still both people. You make obfuscation an art form. LOL, well, just brilliant! Wait, have I not already been in a discussion with you on something else where you were playing this same dumb game? 95% of abortions are for the mere convenience of it. No, that is a very specific position on abortion being wrong in all circumstances, that is not what makes on Pro-Life or identify as Pro-Life. Even going by your source, it would be that 21% would be Pro-Life as they find it morally wrong... Ah yes, you got to get your little bigoted comments in there every chance you can! The Pro-Life movement is no more fueled by "religious dogma" than thinking it is also wrong to push Grandma over the cliff because you are tired of her.1 point

No, no it's not. “… a purposeful policy designed by one ethnic or religious group to remove by violent and terror-inspiring means the civilian population of another ethnic or religious group from certain geographic areas.” Are you genuinely so stupid that you don't understand that removing expelling a group from a territory is ethnic cleansing even if not a single member of that group is killed? Israel's settlement policies are based on Israel's desire to occupy the land currently occupied by Palestinians. Listen to what the people who are actually settling there have to say, they'll tell you it has nothing to do with security and everything to do with their crackpot belief that they are the rightful owner o f that land.1 point

Sounds like they showed up to counter protest and the other side was hot to trot to fight: And they fought with police too. But heck - if you thought you were right you woudkln't be getting angry already https://www.cbsnews.com/news/violence-erupts-at-some-pro-palestinian-campus-protests/ I'ts no surprise you lefties try to paint them as innocent victims when they were every bit as much at fault Meanwhile The protesters are also causing damages as i noted, And taking over buildings. https://www.koat.com/article/unm-cleans-up-damages-pro-palestinian-protest-on-campus/60664018 And even BIDEN says they're not 'peaceful'. . 'Not peaceful' The White House, which has been peppered with questions by reporters, had gone only slightly further than the president. On Wednesday, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden is "monitoring the situation closely," and she said some demonstrations had stepped over a line that separated free speech from unlawful behavior. "Forcibly taking over a building," such as what happened at Columbia University in New York, "is not peaceful," she said. "It’s just not." https://www.lemonde.fr/en/international/article/2024/05/02/biden-says-dissent-must-never-lead-to-disorder-amid-pro-palestinian-protests-on-us-campuses_6670234_4.html But the rest of the left wing community like yourself says they're just fine Why heck - if they were RIGHT wing protests YOU"D be calling it an insurrection Sorry kiddo. Looks like you're wrong yet again.1 point

Including Jews. People aren't legally allowed to setup occupied encampments on public property with barricades and checkpoints in order to not allow people of certain ethnicities to enter said public property. Ironically, this is apartheid. Genocide? I'm not the one glorifying Oct 7, chanting "From the river to the sea...", denying food aid to starving people or murdering innocents then hiding inside/under hospitals and schools and then calling myself a victim.1 point

Yesterday, the US Select Subcommittee on The Coronavirus Pandemic released a staff-level report recommending EcoHealth Alliance President Dr. Peter Daszak be formally debarred and criminally investigated as a result of his actions prior to, and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The report also exposes serious, systemic weaknesses at the NIH that enabled EcoHealth to fund dangerous gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China. Evidence shows that Dr. Daszak was aware of this potentially dangerous research, yet he failed to inform the NIH. When criminal activity is shown in this investigation it will uncover a web of intimidation, cover-up and collusion that will make Nuremberg look like OJ's playpen. It's a start, but will there be justice or just more reports written? 2024.05.01-SSCP-Report_FINAL.pdf (house.gov)1 point

I wouldn't target the students, since they are basically just naive overage adolescents the thing to do would be to target the Iranian backed terrorist organizations behind the scenes invoke Counterterrorism legislation against them then unleash the National Mission Force : Joint Task Force 2 Counterleadership Operations ; High Value Target Kill-Capture then you hold the perpetrators in super maximum security prison, indefinitely, under Ministerial Certificate cut the the snake off at the head, not the tail1 point

Do you have a link for that? You're saying that mcGill university invested billions of dollars in something? What was it? Bitcoin? A stethoscope company? One that makes sphygmomanometers as well? Pfizer? That's probably not a bad investment - owning part of the company that owns the US and Cdn gov'ts. McGill is getting rich from genocides now? That's your latest brainwave? How so? Do they have terroristtraining facilities in Iran? How much do they charge students to register in "Backpack to Oblivion 101"? You stumbled onto something there: all of the gov't corruption comes from the gov't. Take a victory lap. So how do people get rich from that again? I forgot. FYI the only people who profit from Gaza are the ones who want a genocide against Israel. That was poetarded.1 point

1. Vaguely. I think they weighed in favour of the baker yes ? I support court decisions, or at least the role of the courts in deciding on big issues. I agree with most carve-outs having been raised devout and still with many devout friends and family. Your case applies to Canada also I think. 2. Things are often very unfair. You should also understand that Israel must do what it feels is necessary to defend its security because we know they are surrounded by hostile nations with millions of people. I have not seen the evidence that you know much about the history of the area. I don't know a lot about it myself I admit, but I know it is very complex. You seem to think it is very simple. How is that knowing much about the history of the area?1 point

There's a tonne of it. We've been doing that for a year now and everyone in the field is screaming to stop - the drugs are getting into the hands of kids, the death rate is getting worse if anything, the criminals are getting rich - it has utterly failed. And decriminalizing it has proven to be a disaster as we see here Nope. At best you can say it doesn't stop all addicts. But as we've seen it does help keep the problem under control. It gets worse when we don't. Frankly - i'd be ok with doing both. Arrest them and lock them up and give them a choice - stay in jail for a few years or take a drug rehab program and pass it successfully (any failures and back to jail you go). Then parole with testing to try to keep them on the wagon for a year after. There you go - medical treatment AND jailtime for the non compliant. you were a vax mandate supporter right? You should be fine with compelled medical treatment1 point

So you didn't read the link and are STILL IGNORANT about the meaning of EXCESS MORTALITY. How embarrassing for you.1 point

Do you think that you're not supporting genocide Gaetan? Are you honesty oblivious to the fact that Iran, the PLO, Hezbollah, Hamas, etc are all dedicated to genocide? They live and breath it, and have done so for generations. You're the poster boy for support of genocide and you don't even know it.1 point
-
Oh, yeah. I'm definitely pro school choice. Send your kid wherever you want. Just don't ask me to pay for it. A fetus is not a person with a right to anything, but even if we stipulate that they are for the sake of debate, their rights cannot reasonably supersede the rights of the women. There is no logical argument to make the unborn a special class of citizen--and certainly none within our constitution, which does not recognize the unborn as citizens. Can I ask just a basic logic question? When I say that the movement is almost entirely driven by evangelicals and Catholics, you have TWICE now listed the involvement of men and women as a counterpoint. Why are you doing this? Are you under the impression that evangelicals and Catholics are not men and women? WTF is going on here?1 point
-
Lol. So what you're saying now is that anything the government does is inherently democratic because people voted on representatives who were somehow involved at some stage of the process. Okay. 🙄I'll hold you to that.1 point
-
Not democracy? What chicken sh1t. Did the American people elect a republican POTUS? Yes. Did that republican POTUS campaign on placing conservative judges on the SCOTUS? Yes. Is that how a democracy is supposed to work? Yes. Now why don't you stop your continuous lies and just face facts. Women can still get their wombs cleared. There are, in most cases, reasonable restrictions that the vast majority of people ON BOTH SIDES OF THE OCEAN find humane and acceptable. Your preoccupation with this non-issue is silly and childish. If you're so upset about how the US constitution and real democracy work... I'm sure you can leave without any problems.1 point
-
In this nonsensical ramble you've managed to get just about everything wrong. Likely because you know nothing about our constitution and don't much care about democracy. But even at a basic level you should understand that the SCOTUS making an unpopular decision that allows states to deny women basic privacy and physical autonomy has nothing to do with democracy. And my "personal beliefs" are that these decisions should be between a woman and her health care provider. If you don't want an abortion, don't get one. But don't force your views on others. That's what it means to be pro choice.1 point
-
Yes, they took steps to correct a problem. A problem that they caused. Where they take it now a\makes it easier for police to enforce and perhaps incarcerate addicts. There was no consequences before. Oh yes, we all gave a shit about the freedom given to addicts. We were all very upset but realized we, un-addicted, had no mre say. So, we are not "clueless 1diots". We were the ones that said, wait for it... it will only get worse.... and it did and we cans say we told you so.1 point
-
That's nonsense. But note, that you can't make the successful argument even if I stipulate that lumps of cells--without formed bodies, brains or any indication of sentience-- are people.1 point

I would propose a national apprenticeship program so young people can get into the trades. In every building sector in Canada the most common complaint it here are no workers and tradesmen are in desperately short supply. We could build more homes if we had more trades people.1 point

I just read this the other day and looked for the approp. topic to post it in: From MMA fighter Tamikka Brents after biological male Fallon Fox fractured her skull while, (quite literally) beating her senseless - What kind of biological male demands to play collision sports or fight with biological women and then persists in doing so even after injuring them over and over? Even after this guy broke her skull, she was too scared to just stand up and say “This was unfair because Fox is a man.” What does it tell the women who get hurt like this, to be told that they cannot complain or they’re a TERF? Just take your beating like a man? Is that where this really ought to go?1 point
