  1. No, i do not believe that anyone has gone to the moon. There have been plenty of people that have questioned those moon landings and if they really did happened at all. They asked pretty good questions also. If they did go to the moon, why have all those trips to the moon stopped? By now, several decades later, they should have set up shop on the moon. They have had plenty of time and years to do so. As i mentioned already, there was a NASA employee that had said that no one can go into outer space because of the very high and dangerous radiation in outer space. The high amounts of radiation in space would kill them. So, who are we to believe now? I will go with what the NASA woman employee said because NASA has not gone to the moon since the last time that they went to the moon. What? did they run out of money? Not very likely. What rock samples? The ones that they walked on in some American desert somewhere while making a movie of going to the moon? For now, this was just more American bullshit and nothing more. 😇

  2. It does not seem like you have the best understanding of history when it comes to Ukraine. The Ukrainians do not want to become part of Russia. This war has been ongoing since 2014, when Russia invaded the Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. Historically Ukrainians have suffered horribly under Russian rule. The whole "NATO is to blame" is just useless Russian propaganda. I know of new Ukrainians in Canada, and literally every single one is in support of fighting off the Russian invaders. The Ukrainians can give up, but that would mean Russia annexing 20% of Ukraine, and having the ethnic Ukrainians persecuted.

  3. Well according to you some NASA official said way back at the beginning of the program they thought radiation levels were too high for space travel. In spite of 60 years experience to the contrary, you are still stuck 60 years ago. Like I said, as long as something fits your conspiracy, you hang on to it like a dog with a bone in spite of everything to the contrary. Radiation may very well affect astronauts. Are you aware of any studies that compare their cancer rates with non astronauts? Wouldn't matter, you wouldn't believe them anyway unless they told you what you wanted to hear. Are you aware that 3/4 of the earth's atmosphere is below 36,000 ft (5.8 miles) so high flying airliners are also exposed to most of any radiation. Probably not.

  5. LOL - love the commie line Well there is still speculation that he'll step down soon. But it would have to be fairly soon, or he'll really screw them up. Mind you there's also speculation he'll FALL down soon, and break a hip. Which would take him out of the race too. I think it's probable that he'll be the one running mainly for the reasons you mention - who else have they got right now? At least it's got to be a silver lining for them that if they lose then biden's out of the picture for them and trump ONLY gets 4 years and then he's gone for them. And you never know, campaigns matter and biden could pull it off, in which case they only have to prop him up with a stick for 4 years and they can move on. Yes - guns, title 42 and dr seuss. The trinity of evil.

  6. Looks and smells like a paid troll to me. A lot of the time you can tell just by the formatting of the OP's text: A different font (for no reason) that's highlighted in grey means this was copy-pasted from somewhere else, and my guess is Google Translate 😆.

  7. You go to the dermatologist to have an irregular mole analyzed. It's measured and graded and the doctor tells you it's malignant and will have to come off. The girl at ULTA beauty tells you it looks benign. You're the kind of guy who thinks those pieces of advice are equally valid and the un-credible opinion deserves as much weight as the expert evaluation. In other words, a dumb guy who's likely going to die when that beauty mark metastasizes. 🙄

  8. Seems like you take the opposing view to everything. You are obviously against the west. I am beginning to wonder if you are a Russian or Chinese internet plant or working for China or Russia trying to cause division in the west in some small way. My guess is that is how they would operate. We don't have to be a genius to figure this out.

  10. That’s some first rate revisionism right there. Next you’ll be telling us nobody really believed the 2020 election was stolen or that Hunter Biden was involved in serious crimes. Obama’s alleged Kenyan birth was a common and popular conspiracy among Republican supporters especially Trump. I’m sure that in 2030 that’s exactly what the internet republicans on this forum will be claiming.

  11. When someone has to explain how, "in their opinion an insurrection occurred and someone was involved in it", there wasn't an insurrection. The Jan 6th committee had to alter video to make it seem like an insurrection: case closed.

What are your predictions? Lets hear your facts, your figures, your theories, your delusions (robosmith), your hopes and dreams and what you think the outcome will be as it changes between now and next november.

  13. Stoopid b*tch is peddling the bullshit notion that this isn't political. She must think Americans are as dumb as the Left. lol AUGUSTA, Maine — Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows stepped into the national spotlight when she became the country’s first top elections official to rule former President Donald Trump is ineligible for the state’s 2024 Republican primary ballot. She’s done scores of television and radio interviews with national and regional outlets since her Dec. 28 decision, including chats with conservatives who have pushed her to explain how she found the Republican frontrunner violated Section 3 — the so-called insurrection clause — of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Bellows has focused less on her finding that Trump violated the Constitution by inciting the Capitol riots of Jan. 6, 2021, and more on the requirement under Maine election law for her to rule on challenges to the eligibility of candidates. Her emphasis on the process rather than politics of the decision has done little to blunt the sharp Republican criticism she has faced. https://www.bangordailynews.com/2024/01/03/politics/how-shenna-bellows-defending-donald-trump-off-maine-ballot/

  20. Like I said in another thread, I don't think Biden is actually running in the 2024 election. The Dems just know that they don't have any candidates that can beat Bernie, and they can't conspire against him again because Bernie has enough supporters within the DNC that it's impossible to do it without another leak. A great man once said: "The Democrat Party is such a clown car of disgraced losers that they make communism look like a shining beacon of hope."

  26. Looks like biden wants to avoid running on his record - here's his response to trump's claim he's holding hostages https://www.thefp.com/p/biden-all-about-trump-jan-6-2024 Biden Makes It All About Trump. Will That Be Enough? Could the president drop out? Democratic leaders wishcast. Plus, a missing defense secretary, the Golden Globes, and more. For the first three years of his presidency, Biden tried to avoid saying the words Donald Trump. On Friday night, he mentioned the man 44 times. In a speech at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, on the eve of the third anniversary of the January 6 riot, Joe Biden made the case for his reelection by castigating his predecessor. “Today we’re here to answer the most important of questions,” said Biden. “Is democracy still America’s sacred cause?. . . . [It’s] the most urgent question of our time, and it’s what the 2024 election is all about.” He went on: “Donald Trump’s campaign is about him, not America, not you.” The same can be said of Biden’s own campaign. Faced with an unenthusiastic Democratic base, three in four Americans who say they are “seriously concerned” that his age might affect his mental and physical competence, and poll after poll showing him losing to Trump in a head-to-head matchup, Biden is betting on his opponent’s shortcomings rather than his own strengths. I don't think this is going to cut it for biden. I think he still has to convince people that he's the right guy for the job, not that trump is a bad person. And i don't think this attitude gets him there.

  28. Because before the original free trade agreement that's the way it was. Isolationist policies and Branch Office arrangements, huge duties on foreign items that ensured no need for better productivity. Why bother to modernize production lines, innovate, automate or modernize? Simplistic visions of 'competition' in Canada will save us all? Like the 3 competitors who saw us open an ISP and decided they'd drive us out of business by offering a dollar less in a local dialup market of 2,000 customers? Or at the same time the 7 Pizza places offering 2for1 even 3for1 that's now TWO neither of which can afford an employee or even a delivery driver? Perhaps like the furniture maker I got my 1st real job at that was gone by 1980 as it couldn't market to all Canada and pretty much saturated the BC market by then. That's why a global market is better for you than a protected one. You might not be building Acadians and Frontenacs, but the millions of Caravans and Toyotas got you your house. Just like reselling motherboards and RAM from Taiwan got me this place. And the international competition got us all 128GB microSD cards for $20 rather than 20 Meg hard drives the size of a stretcher block for $1200.

  31. Was this the first year that there were extreme weather events, robo? Was it the first time that there was drought somewhere? Hint: did they have a word for before now...? Would they have a word for it if it never happened before? Didn't they have some kind of a heat wave and drought in the 1930s? Does that ring a bell at all, robo? Here are a few things for you to think about, buddy: we have more weather data for one day in 2024 than we had for the whole year of 1933 We know the temperature on every square inch of our country We know where every cloud is We know the current and temperature at the bottom of most of the oceans and the wind speed and temperature at the top of all of the mountains on earth FYI when there's a "record" somewhere it's not an "all-time" record, it's a "since we've been tracking it" record, and we haven't been tracking a lot of this data for very long. When you're told that "This year was a record for the number of hurricanes in the Atlantic", that doesn't go back to 1930 because in 1930 they had no idea how many hurricanes were starting and petering out in the Atlantic: they only tracked the ones that made landfall. And we haven't had record years for "hurricanes making landfall". There were much busier decades in the past. The people who brought you covid hysteria and made you think that your healthy 10 yr olds were in danger know that they can pimp global warming hysteria every time you sweat, shiver, step in a puddle, or watch a newspaper blow across your lawn. Pay attention to find out who's lying to you, and then stop paying attention to whoever's lying to you. CNN will never go on in your home again if you do that.

  32. I'm not sure what the police could do about hate unless the protesters are shouting 'death to Jews' or something similar. An individual saying it to someone else privately is not, afaik illegal. And trying to persuade a judge to jail someone over 'from the river to the sea Palestine will be free' is probably futile as the phrase is arguably about two different things. I know, I know it's calling for the end of Jews in Israel, but knowing and proving aren't the same thing. What the police could and should do is clear the bloody streets. Allowing people to basically occupy roads, highways and bridges without going in and dragging them off in handcuffs is a dereliction of their duty to enforce the law and maintain order. At first, they could be forgiven for standing back as tempers were hot, but it's been months now and they're still shutting down highways and bridges and trying to shut down roads to airports and other major roads. Enough is enough. You should be able to hold a demonstration in a specified area for a specified time. You should not be allowed to just parade up and down a major artery during rush hour while the citizens fume. Anyone who does that should be arrested and charged and released only on a peace bond. If they go back and do it again they go to jail for thirty days or so. The crowds will dwindle rapidly. As it stands the only ones getting the slightest penalty are the ones in Ottawa being fined for using megaphones, but from what I understand they don't have to pay the fines anyway as their supporters take care of that. I might add that there's evidence the Chinese are helping organize these things as a way to further divide Canadians. If we had a government that didn't cringe away at the thought of taking the slightest action against China someone would have done something about THAT by now.

  38. "The" Supreme Court presumably is the United States Supreme Court as this is an American university link. As such "hate speech" is regarded as a justifiable limit on freedom of expression in Canada https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hate_speech_laws_in_Canada People calling for genocide are usually and should be charged in Canada. The decision to charge lays with the crown and police officers. As such, Toronto police have been criticized for allowing threats and hateful comments to stand recently.

  39. You don’t understand how science works. Your ONE limited study that was published only 6 months after the start covid doesn’t “prove” anything. There are dozens and dozens of comprehensive studies discrediting HCQ as an effective COVID treatment, which has been the scientific consensus has been for years now. The article in the OP has linked HCQ to 17,000 unnecessary deaths. Trump supports are hilarious.

  40. What happened in Toronto today that made you tie it to right wing sensibilities on the topic of immigration? And perhaps it needs to be said again that an immigrant is different than a refugee which is what the thread was about. What I notice most about the right-wing is that little to no attempt at all is made to differentiate between a refugee and an immigrant.
