What about what about? Guess what? Telling the judge “What about Hunter’s laptop” didn’t help. Your heroes just lost close to a billion dollars. It is a confession that Fox blatantly lied about Dominion Systems. You want to talk about 15 year-olds? Ok, how many children were impacted when their parents got laid off at Dominion because governments are afraid to purchase more of their computers? Not because there’s anything wrong with them, but because Fox News made people think so.4 points

How exactly does it "now" "open" the "door" ??? The case was settled. No case law precedents were set, nor for that matter was there anything so unusual about this in terms of defamation. CNN is unique in its journalistic crappiness but their lawyers aren't so stupid as to think they can get away with this kind of thing. Alex Jones and FOX provoked the slow and crushing wheels of justice and they were served its recourse. Conspiracy Theories should be distributed by Russian-backed offshore bots and forum 1diots NOT wealthy broadcast networks and corporations.3 points

The CEO of Dominion wouldn't let his kids answer the door because of death threats, which incidentally were increasing as this case went along. That's two and a half years of death threats from the stop the steal fanatics, egged on by your buddy Tucker and his fellow liars.3 points

No. I'm more interested that your pique is your excuse for withholding what you know about the CBC's hidden stories - in yet another thread where whining about government/media news censorship is typically devoid of any evidence of it. You realize you're also denying your conservative homies of your important news by putting your irritation first? Oh well it gets me off the hook from having to address your revelations too. So you know...Phew! Boy only you could box yourself in while trying to corner someone. Good job!3 points

Here’s what you’re thinking: “Fox News just got caught lying their asses off so badly they ruined a company and caused its employees to receive death threats. I guess I better deflect this discussion to something else.” That’s how ALL the right wingers here think. You guys think you’re morally superior, but EVERY SINGLE TIME someone points out something immoral or illegal that a Republican did, you rush to his defense and toss out an irrelevant whataboutism attack. You guys have absolutely no moral values at all. It’s plain to see.2 points
-
Blackbird, you once again sound like someone who is unsure of his moral compass and relies on the Bible to tell him what is right or wrong. Which country you think has "moral leadership"?2 points
-
Then you're a woke or former fascist. The left does this all the time - they are huge fans of emotionally charged language rather than facts or reason so they will take a word with negative connotations and attempt to shoehorn it into every possible place they can. Remember when EVERYTHING including math was racists? They knew racism was percieved as a negative thing by virtually everyone so they just called anything they didn't like racist. Remember when they came up with 'cultural genocide'? Have to get the word 'genocide' in there, that way we can become as big a victim as the jewish survivors. remeber when trudeau said we should not tolerate the vax-hesitant.. not because of logical reasons or because they're wrong or because it's necessary for the greater good or the like but because 'they're bigots and misogynists', which we know are bad.2 points

Do you believe the government should restrict who you can fall in love with, dictate your personal moral code, prohibit you from using surgery to aliegn your physical gender with the psychological gender you were given by God? This type of government intervention in our daily lives is communism. As a conservative, I believe we must be free to make our own decisions, including mistakes. Is the government responsible to protect us from ourselves? The issue of teaching children that sexual orientation and gender identity is normal will, hopefully, reduce the level of bullying and suicide among children. Since God created 4 million gay Canadians, God must be fine with it. We have a so-called Christian school in Saskatoon, that has a history of beating children with paddles if they are suspected of being gay. That is a crime against God.2 points

^ Another day, another right wing lie. Look no further than the right’s deplorable attacks on the families of Sandy Hook killings and the survivors of the Parkland killings if you want to see truly disgusting treatment of dead children2 points
-
Sure they did, they went after Obama’s kids and the went after Chelsea Clinton. But they didn’t sink as far as lying right wing scumbag Alex Jones and go after murdered kids and their grieving families if that’s your standard2 points

That is definitely NOT the only explanation. People are still tuning in because in a world full of real news, FOX viewers still, as always, love hearing coverage designed solely to confirm their narrow biases. FOX never was a source for quality journalism. It was never intended to be anything more than lucrative infotainment. They hire personalities instead of journalists, their award shelf is bare, but the revenue is real and that's all that matters to them.2 points

They used to say that The Globe and Global TV were team Trudeau. When I asked why Global TV or The Globe BROKE STORIES that did him real damage they said that they had no choice. No choice to break a story.... It's all conspiracy conspiracy conspiracy with these crackpots I tells ya...2 points

I'm not aware of any reporters being silenced or disappeared for reporting them are you? I've asked before if you people think its the other way around and the media controls the government but there's no straight answer to be found that way either. It always seems to depend on which corner you're trying to back yourself out of at the time. It is what it is.2 points

I don't think anyone really cares what adults do with their bodies. As long as it doesn't involve unfairness towards women from male-bodied individuals.1 point

What's plainly obvious is your post lacks any coherent thought. Although the knee jerk was off the Richter scale.1 point

Okay. I suppose you saw them when you travelled the Trans Canada highway in a rainbow Tesla. The laughter must have been contagious.1 point

No I’m more of a liquor and mixed drinks guy, I stopped buying beer except on the rare occasion a few years back. I never said anything about myself. You’re the one who said people are having a problem drinking beer now that they’ve heard that people they don’t even know recently talked to a tranny they’ve never heard of. Definitely conservatives are transphobic and would be deeply ashamed of getting “caught” being attracted to trans people. A lot of conservatives are ashamed of sexuality generally.1 point

Hear the AI speaking. Note the unbeatable intelligence (somewhat artificial maybe)!1 point
-
Wow so you have nothing to say on this topic but you posted anyway…literally the definition of babbling. Be a man, admit you were fooled by Fox’s deliberate lies.1 point
-
Nope, can't have a discussion with the AI. It comes the full circle. Fact: Russia brutally invaded an independent European nation in violation of all international rules and laws. Psycho's justifications for criminal act don't matter. Psycho is as psycho acts, psycho's act is that makes them that not thoughtful discussions. And yes countries can leave NATO, a fact of history too bud did AI care? No, can't discuss matters with the AI! Fox just admitted lying, publicly it was a condition of the deal. Nope the AI knows better! The final and ultimate truth just ask it.1 point

Doubt that the CBC would be so embarrassed and defensive if their bias wasn't so blatant and fawning . . . .1 point

They serve no other purpose than that of the blinkers on the horse. Their objective is not to let you see or know what is really happening around you and just steer you plugging along towing the heavy carriage of capitalism forward till you fall dead in your tracks.1 point

Basically the only way that we can prove that we're not fascists is if we join her extremist group and do some rioting and looting with them.1 point
-
Now now - it can be hard to follow her accusations but they're not THAT hard. Lets' recap and see if we can come up wiht a defnition of fascism that meets her critera If you disagree with her AND you think you're a fascist - you're a fascist If you disagree with her and you think you're NOT a fascist - that proves you're a fascist. If you disagree with her with regards to what fascism is you're obviously a fascist If you disagree with her about left wing fascism you're a fascist. If you disagree with her calling you a fascist and complain - that's some solid facisming happening right there. If only there was some sort of common element there that was present in all of them, we could probably come up with a definition....1 point

This is on CBC site this morning. Is it Liberal boosting? https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/freeland-disney-plus-1.6815024 Lots of negative comments allowed as well.1 point
-
Of course not, that's why this is a political statement, not an attempt to inform. It's just Elon expressing his own dislike of government, nothing more.1 point
-
They do actually just fail to report on stories quite a bit - as long as it's not gaining traction elsewhere so that people would notice. But - the other trick is omitting large parts of the story. For example - you'll recall the "convoy protester" lady who danced on the grave of the unknown soldier in the protest- cbc and all the others covered that. Well she was caught and the police interviewed her etc and released a statement saying that she was NOT a protester and wasn't affiliated with the convoy, and they weren't pressing charges for various reasons. This was reported in many news papers. - the CBC however only reported that "the woman' was 'not being charged'. No mention whatsoever of the police report given in the SAME POLICE MEDIA BRIEFING stating she wasn't a convoy protester. They called her a 'protester' but stopped using the term convoy protester, but that's it - they did NOT mention the police concluded she wasn't part of the convoy. So - after weeks and weeks of saying this women was assocaited with the convoy they JUST say 'oh and she's not getting charged', which tends to make people MORE angry at the convoy protesters. But she was never with them. All kinds of tricks like that.1 point

And remember the even bigger $2 Billion lawsuit with Smartmatic is still in progress. I wonder if Fox can even survive1 point

Not liking the results of someone’s legitimate research is now grounds for dismissal it seems. If someone doesn’t like the way reality makes them feel, that’s a reason to dismiss someone in today’s Kafkaesque work environment. It’s unethical and unlawful of course.1 point
-
Yep. It's what you do. The slightest mention and you pretend it's 'cultural marxism' so you can call people nazis. It's pretty pathetic.1 point

At the moment anyone can post anything they want around here. That doesn't mean you are obligated to respond or interact with them. You can respond if you want to, but you don't have to. My suggestion is, if someone is derailing a thread do not engage them. Just keep doing your own thing and you'll be fine.1 point

@WestCanMan and @Infidel Dog couldn’t muster a word in the other thread about the revelations that even Fox News and Tucker Carlson didn’t believe Trumps election lies, thought Sydney Powell and her “Kraken” claims were “insane” and Tucker “hates Trump passionately”. Not a peep! I think they were waiting for some miracle revelation to come down and save Fox just like they were hoping for some miracle after the 2020 election1 point
-
1) So you were one of those who fell foe Fox’s lies that they are now paying big for. Have you nothing to say about how you were deceived? 2) So if (and I mean when) those Trump lawsuits don’t happen or fail as miserably as his dozens of baseless election fraud lawsuits did, will you THEN reconsider your media conspiracy beliefs?1 point

LMAO yeah right. How made up is this claim. Sounds like an excuse a conservative might make when his wife catches him jerking off to tranny porn. “Baby it ain’t muh fault! I was just a-sittin’ here havin muh beers as usual an them gosh darn Bud Light folks done messed’ with muh head and got me all mixed up and a-thinkin ‘bout them trannies! I’m-a teach’em a lesson an’ put them Bud Light sons-a-guns outta business! Tomorrow I’m-a switchin’ to reg’lar Bud!”1 point

But isn't this exactly what happens when Trudeau is compared to Hitler or when his measures during the emergency Act were likened to those used in Tiananmen Square?1 point

Sure, I haven't seen what you're talking about. So moving on. Show me the specific way by which the PMO also doubles as the CBC/MSM's editorial room. The trail of emails between PMO and CBC staff to direct or edit the news. The names of the hit-men sent out to silence reporters would also be useful.1 point

There is an expectation that FOX shareholders will now sue FOX management.1 point
-
The point is not right wing or left wing. The point is that Fox News promoted lies about the election being stolen, and they damaged Dominion Systems, and it cost Fox over $780 million. Hopefully, this will help Dominion restore their business.1 point
-
No, you don't get off trying to change the channel that easy so give it up already. You responded to a post in which I said; I've been watching stories about this sort of thing on CBC for years now and the thrust of this thread is that CBC is hiding these sorts of stories. I repeat CBC is not hiding the news. To suggest it's under the government's control to do so is ridiculous.1 point
-
Aww. I wish Dominion had held out to give the bastards a taste of their own medicine. Watching Fox people say terrible (and finally true) things about Fox would have been so much fun.1 point

FOX settles for $787.5 million. Smartmatic must be rubbing their hands with glee.1 point

World leaders, such as Trudeau and Freeland here in Canada, outright said that the pandemic was "an opportunity" that they were not going to let go to waste. It was an opportunity for a power and money grab. The best defense against this type of misuse of power by authority is AN INFORMED PUBLIC. Yet most of the public either were purposely scared shitless into being spoon-fed propaganda information or simply outright refused to become informed. And they were deliberately misled. Couple that with a refusal to become properly informed and you have a recipe for tyranny. Look at the video I posted above about Ivermectin. This successful early treatment was purposely withheld from the public. Yet it wasn't hard to find the information. The studies were there. Many doctors were using it, many scientists tried to publish and explain the studies for public consumption, as the expert did in the above video testimony from the NCI. They were censored and silenced, defunded and lost their licenses to practice. And people died needlessly because of it. For money and power. These money and power grubbers need to be held accountable. If we do not, this will happen again and it will get worse for us. The people who shared misinformation on ivermectin - and I include many here on this forum - should be deeply ashamed of themselves. You killed more people with your misinformation and intellectual laziness during the pandemic, than any "anti-vaxxer" ever did. If your doctor did not inform him/herself and went along with withholding early treatment to save their license to practice, they also need to be held accountable. All it would have taken was for doctors and others in the medical community to ALL stand up and speak the truth, to end this charade. I repeat - to stop this from continuing and to stop it from ever happening again - THE BEST DEFENSE IS AN INFORMED PUBLIC. Stop complying and this ends.1 point

No I'm not. I'm saying that the government funding CBC warrants the tag Twitter put on the CBC tweets.1 point

Yes, only media owned by billionaires delivers the truth. CBC, BBC, ABC, NPR, PBS are all lies, right?1 point

You're saying market forces will pay for the control? That's retarded. It's like saying the CBC's can supercede the Broadcasting Act at will - which you also just said.1 point

I disagree. There's Gutfeld who's very popular.... And Tuckers ratings are off the charts. The alt-right victim card is very "in" now since popularized by dear Donald.1 point
