  1. The fact that China simply sets up lobbying and policing here, sends bio war researchers to steal secrets that threaten national security, and generally buys up and uses our resources and tech to advance its own interests in plain site is really all we need to know. As usual, this government is in panic cleanup mode suddenly standing up to China.

  4. Not really true. If we doubled our military budget, it wouldn't bankrupt us. We'd need a small increase to taxes or to cut the fat our somewhere else. We'd still not have a big military capable of much force projection, but it would be a far cry better than what we have now. We waste a lot of money these days. If Army Guy is right about anything, it's that Trudeau is fast and loose with our money.

  7. These words will be forgotten tomorrow, already being condemned by irrelevant woke crowd who somehow think this man's opinions are an embarrassment to this nation. it makes me ill sometimes to think how far a great instruction like our Military has fallen to the state it is in today, be it our equipment status, our manning status, how many Soldiers, sailors, and air force members are leaving in droves, not all the people they are attracting now are up to the standards required to defend this nation, or close with and destroy our enemies. It seems the left has or is in mid step in destroying or dismantling our security apparatus, through cuts to budgets, manpower, and equipment, and the Canadian people are fine with that, most even clap at the job being down. in exchange for other programs like dental care or childcare where in a few years will also be under funded, when are we going to learn, are we even smart enough to learn these lessons. I think it is the new generations who do not care what they can do for the country, instead have their hands out waiting for the next social program, it's all about me, and F*ck the country, i pay my taxes, they owe me. I know it is hard for them to hear the country owes you nothing. we expect a few things from our country, good health care, every province and the Federal government has failed us, same as education, justice , every governmental department , defense of the nation, policing, fire all of it are under manned or underfunded, and we Canadians think that is normal, shit we even called for cutting funded to our police forces the men and women who do great things every day to keep us safe, with what little support they have. At first glance it seems like he might have chocked to death on some crow. FYI, what you just said is just another tiny shred of evidence that we are correct when we say that covid almost exclusively kills old and sick people. We didn't need your evidence though, it's already a well-established fact that we have been correct in saying that ever since about May of 2020. If you're finally on board, kudos for being so quick on the uptake. Just remember that when we talk about covid, we're mainly interested in the view from 50,000 feet: - Is the vax slowing down the number of covid deaths? Not even a tiny bit. - Does the vax slow the spread of covid? No. - Do young people and children need the vax? No. - Do young people and children suffer serious side-effects from the non-working vax which they don't need? Yes. Final question. It's a super-easy one, so I'll leave you to answer it... - Should we continue to force people to take a non-working vax that they don't need which has serious side-effects?

  16. Court: Fauci Must Testify Under Oath About Involvement in Social Media COVID Censorship (legalinsurrection.com) Missouri AG Eric Schmitt: “No one has had the chance to look under the hood before – now we do.” But a funny thing happened on the way to discovery: Most of the subjects of the investigation have been steadfastly refusing to testify. The refusals, prevarications, and slights of hand have been wild. It’s been the entire Teflon Tony playbook. In a baffling act of evasiveness, Tony made written response to questions, to which he was required to provide verified answers under penalty of perjury, but they were instead signed by an underling. This astonishing action serves as its own indictment, IMO and fits into a longstanding pattern of lying to Congress and to the American people and it appears that Judge Doughty is declaring an end to the shenanigans. Finally, the Court is aware of a number of substantive reasons why Dr. Fauci’s deposition should be taken. The first is the publicly available emails that prove that Dr. Fauci was communicating and acting as an intermediary for others in order to censor information from being shared across multiple social-media outlets. The second is that Dr. Fauci has yet to give any statements under oath in this matter. The third is that the Court has no doubt that Dr. Fauci was engaging in communications with high-ranking social-media officials, which is extremely relevant in the matter at hand. That so many Americans died from covid before vaccines were introduced was not inevitable, and it had nothing to do with people failing to adhere to diktats stamped with Fauci’s imprimatur. Covid patients were instructed to return home and do nothing — receive no treatment whatsoever — until difficulties breathing sent them back to the hospital to submit to intravenous remdesivir and ventilation. Inexpensive, safe medicines against covid were readily available that would’ve prevented hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations and saved as many, if only we’d used them. Why didn’t we? Because Fauci and his Pharma collaborators deliberately suppressed those treatments in service to their myopic objective—a mass public health experiment with a rushed-to-market, poorly tested, and improperly licensed technology so risky that manufacturers refused to produce it unless every government on the planet shielded them from responsibility. Research-Report-on-Mask-Mandates-in-Schools.pdf (mt.gov) Consider mask mandates, which Fauci knew ran contrary to overwhelming research. As you read, keep in mind the consequences of masking children: Research-Report-on-Mask-Mandates-in-Schools.pdf (mt.gov) During a January 28 speech to HHS regulators, Fauci himself explained the futility of masking asymptomatic people. “The one thing historically people need to realize, that even if there is some asymptomatic transmission, in all the history of respiratory borne viruses of any type, asymptomatic transmission has never been the driver of outbreaks. The driver of outbreaks is always a symptomatic person. Even if there’s a rare asymptomatic person that might transmit, an epidemic is not driven by asymptomatic carriers.” Similarly, in a February 5, 2020 email, he advised President Obama’s Health and Human Services Secretary, Sylvia Burwell, on the pointlessness of masking the healthy. Less than two weeks later, Fauci invoked the same rationale in an interview with USA Today: New coronavirus: What don't we know? Dr. Anthony Fauci has the answers (usatoday.com) 52 studies — all available on NIH’s website — find that ordinary masking (using less than an N95 respirator) doesn’t reduce viral infection rates, even in institutional settings like hospitals and surgical theaters. Moreover, retrospective studies on mask mandates confirm they were fruitless. The Truth About the COVID-19 Pandemic - Tablet Magazine Most irksome is what Fauci observed in March 2020, which is that a mask’s only real efficacy may be in “making people feel a little better.” Fauci’s controversial '60 Minutes' interview about mask-wearing was one year ago | Fox News Note the takeaways here: Namely, that while mask mandates were based on falsehoods, masks themselves served as powerful psychological tools that reinforced, by way of visual reminder, the idea that everyone was a vector of disease and unique threat, encouraging public compliance with other oppressive mitigation measures by amplifying fear. Antithetical to critical thinking, a fearful state of mind lays the groundwork for authoritarianism in all its many forms. Manipulating and stimulating this human instinct ensures submission to undeserving authority. What I’ll always remember about the pandemic is how a religious obedience to authoritative pronouncements supplanted common sense and disciplined observation both, with profound consequences. Historically, the obedient always see themselves as virtuous rather than cowardly. It is a costly misperception. https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fbucketeer-e05bbc84-baa3-437e-9518-adb32be77984.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fc411d788-993d-4c2d-9433-212aa20fca2e_480x285.gif His “noble lies” extended well beyond mask mandates, revealing a taste for deceit unbecoming of any public official, let alone one in charge of a pandemic response. Fauci explained to the NYTimes that he had revised his estimate of the vaccine coverage needed to insure “herd immunity” from 70% to 80–90% not based on science, but rather in response to polling that indicated rising rates of vaccine acceptance. Covid-19: How Much Herd Immunity is Enough? - The New York Times (nytimes.com) Despite stating on multiple occasions his belief that post-infection immunity was highly likely, he took the public position that natural immunity did not contribute to protecting the population and demanded that even those previously infected by covid be vaccinated in spite of overwhelming scientific evidence that such post-covid inoculations were both unnecessary and dangerous. On September 9, 2021, while under questioning by Congress, Fauci conceded there was no scientific justification for this policy. As recounted by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (nephew of President John F. Kennedy) in The Real Anthony Fauci, just a few days later, in a statement justifying covid vaccine mandates to school children, Fauci reminisced on his own grade school measles and mumps vaccines—an unlikely memory, since those vaccines weren’t available until 1963 and 1967, and Fauci attended grade school in the 1940s. For Kennedy, it was the “blatant and relentless manipulation of data to serve the vaccine agenda” that was the most infuriating part of our pandemic response. Unsurprisingly, Fauci was often at the center of these deceptions, and they were always made with one goal in mind: Inflating covid risks and the safety and efficacy of vaccines in order to stoke public fear and encourage mass compliance. Arguably the most damning example, occurred at the outset of the pandemic when Fauci used wildly inaccurate modeling by Maser of Disaster Neal Ferguson of Imperial College London — who received $148.8 million from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation — to convince Trump to impose lockdowns. This doomsday model overestimated American deaths by 525%. Fauci was also the one to green-light the CDC’s protocol changes for completing death certificates in a way that inflated covid’s infection mortality rate. Later, the CDC was forced to admit that only 6% of covid deaths occurred in entirely healthy individuals, while the remaining 94% suffered from an average of four potentially fatal comorbidities. COVID-19 Provisional Counts - Weekly Updates by Select Demographic and Geographic Characteristics (cdc.gov) His dereliction goes beyond mere omissions, however. Fauci’s pandemic playbook of “flattening the curve” in support of a long-term bet on unproven vaccines represented an unprecedented departure from accepted public health practice. He not only ignored early treatment options, he outright suppressed them and deliberately derailed America’s access to lifesaving drugs and medicines that might’ve saved hundreds of thousands of lives and dramatically shortened the pandemic. Says Dr. Peter McCullough: Fauci kept the medical treatment on hold globally for an entire year as a readily treatable respiratory virus ravaged populations,” agreed Dr. Piere Kory. “It is absolutely shocking that he recommended no outpatient care, not even Vitamin D despite the fact he takes it himself and much of the country is Vitamin D deficient. . . His treatment strategies all began once all these under-medicated patients were hospitalized. By that time, it was too late for many of them. It was insane. It was perverse. It was unethical.” Thanks to the media’s absolute deference to Fauci, inconvenient facts about our pandemic response have been quietly swept under the rug. For example: Fauci’s disastrous mismanagement during the pandemic’s first year resulted in the U.S. suffering 14.5% of total covid deaths. By September 30, 2021, mortality rates in America had climbed to 2,107/1,000,000, compared to 139/1,000,000 in Japan. These inordinate numbers resulted in an almost 2 year decrease in average life expectancy at birth among Americans. Let’s not be so foolish as to think the disproportionate American numbers were due to negligence and selfishness on the part of the citizenry rather than Fauci’s elevation of Pharma profits and bureaucratic power over waning public health. There are many leading doctors and scientists, including some of the nation’s most highly published and experienced physicians, who believe the deliberate malpractice of withholding early treatments led to upwards of 80% of all deaths attributed to covid. Indeed, five renowned front-line covid specialists — Drs. Peter McCullough, Pierre Kory, Ryan Cole, David Brownstein, and Harvey Risch — independently told RFK Jr. as much. Why would Fauci do such a thing? It’s simple: Corruption.

Is it a Crime to Enter The U.S. Illegally? | AllLaw Obama actually did deport quite a lot of illegals although he changed his tune once Trump became President. 25. This question makes me chuckle, I'll tell you why, nobody in Canada even blinked when we spent 600 plus billion during the pandemic, less than 1/2 of that was actually spent on the pandemic. Germany is planning to spend 100 this year alone, on defense, Australia is spending 300 billion over the next 3 to 5 years on defense, they went through the same pandemic, plus their GDP is much smaller than ours... We should tally up what childcare is going to cost 9 bil the first year, and dental care billions more... No problem with coming up with those numbers. I guess that lets our government off the hook then, and here i thought they were the leaders of this nation, got paid the big bucks to make popular choices and the unpopular ones. But i guess that is what responsible governments do, ones lead by polls and best guesses is why most federal departments are in disarray. Maybe one day we will get a government that true interest is in what is best for the country. still plenty of ways to keep taxpayers happy with other issues. Queen i saw some of our bravest and youngest Canadian kids die on a battlefield in some forgotten country, crying for their mothers, asking comrades to tell their wife's that they loved them, to look after his family when he is gone. to make death bed promises that were impossible to keep, it was not just one or two, but dozens, it ripped my heart out each and every time. and it all comes down to this, money...It is one huge wakeup call to think this is what Canadians are made of this is how much empathy we have; this is how much loyalty we have towards those that risked or lost their lives for this nation. It is telling just how greedy we are as a nation, how thoughtless we have become, how unpatriotic we are. If we went down the 159 soldiers killed in Afghanistan, found out how they died and could we have saved them with new modern military equipment that number would represent well over 1/2 those killed, if not 2/3. Your statement, This and past governments have used time and time again, what it comes down to is this it is cheaper to bury our soldiers, than to give them the proper tools and training to come home to their families, these soldiers are Canadian citizens, they pay taxes, and have Canadian families so why are they left out in the cold. because they are not thought of as true Canadians. But made up of the lowest class of this nation, expendable... Knowing all of that our government and it's citizens continue to send them to conflict areas regardless of how they are trained or equipped, and then to add insult to injury those killed or injured have to beg for help when they return. And the answer we get in return for this service is You are asking for more than we can give right now. Maybe Canadians should visit these families torn apart by conflict, that had to watch their husbands and wives suffer in silence until they took, they're own lives, becasue they could no longer cope with life. that number is well past 400 soldiers to date. What is your life worth to you, Canada has paid a huge price in lives for not being prepared, for any conflict we have been in, WWI, WWII, Korea, we sent raw civilians with 6 weeks of training off to war in some cases with even less training, 3 times now and still we have not learned that Leason, are we stupid or are we just that cheap. well judging by our actions i'd say cheap...with stupid coming in a close second. Once again it is cheaper to bury our soldiers than to give them the right equipment and training. what are your sons or daughters lives worth... not much, i guess. Thats not democracy, that's being ignorant of the cost of freedom, that protects all the other rights we have in this nation. I know the meaning of woke, queen, i did not invent the term or how it is used today. It has noble beginnings, but it has turned into something very ugly today. all it is going to accomplish is turn the tables on those that were once the oppressors, making those doing the turning no better than the original dic*s. that was never the objective of the original movement.

Why is it worse for Ron to foist illegal immigrants on the people of Martha's Vineyard than it is for Biden to foist 2 million illegal immigrants a year on Texas and Arizona? Do you understand what sending illegals to the Vineyard symbolizes? Wealthy Dems love cheap labour, and the illegals that come across the border don't compete with Nancy and Chuck for housing, they work in their their lush gardens and slaughterhouses. The Fentanyl that illegals bring across the border doesn't end up in Hunter's pristine narcotics, it ends up in tha projex. The people most affected by illegal immigrants swarming across the border are the people in affordable housing, working for minimum wage, etc. Ironically, the people that were dumb enough to vote for them. Everything that the Dems do hurts poor people disproportionately. When gas and food go up in price it doesn't slow Justin Trudeau or Anderson "Vanderbilt" Cooper down a bit, but people at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder suddenly have to make do with less. 30. We see every day the attacks on white people by the media. There is racism going on in Canada today and it is happening against the white population on purpose. The white people are being slowly replaced by non-whites and this appears to be happening on purpose. Even that bimbo of a PM of Canada has said that he despises white Europeans. With the massive amount of non-white immigration going on in Canada today, white people will probably become a minority in Canada in another two decades, and the white people ain't going to like it when that happens, pardner. Look at commercials today on TV. There are more blacks in commercials then there ever was just in the past two years. On many talk shows like the View, with black racist Whoop-tee-do and on MSNBC with black Joy Reid, they are constantly attacking white people with racist rants against white people. 38. My point about you being suckered by headlines is sort of on full display here. Rather that just spamming links, can you gather information? Click open a story. Read it. Assess it to see if it's quality journalism. Then evaluate whether it comes close to supporting your claims. Let's do the first one which, despite it's Yahoo URL is a piece syndicated from the National Review. (Which, unlike the Examiner, has standards to uphold while still being a conservative press. So what does it say in that article? "Many of the migrants were then seen meeting with relatives or sponsors in New Jersey or being dropped off at the Syosset, Long Island campus of MercyFirst, a nonprofit sponsored by the Catholic Sisters of Mercy. MercyFirst provides housing and services for “children and adolescents who are the victims of societal problems,” according to its website, which adds that it has a contract to supply the federal government with residential services for “immigrant youth.” Someone familiar with the situation reportedly told the outlet that underage migrants usually arrive carrying backpacks and are bused to locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, upstate Newburgh, and Bridgeport and Danbury in Connecticut. The report adds that many of the flights from Texas first touch down in Jacksonville, Fla., before continuing to Westchester. On Saturday, reporters saw a Boeing 737-700 land shortly after 10 p.m. at Jacksonville International Airport. A group of ten to 15 people got onto a charter bus near a quiet cargo terminal and traveled two hours to Twin Oaks Academy, a juvenile detention center in the Apalachicola National Forest near Tallahassee." You can see that the article you shared with a scary headline is in no way similar to tricking people onto planes to dump them at some unprepared city for the sake of cruel political theater. They are being transported to established, contracted care facilities and to meet with families and sponsors. It's also not new activity or secret activity. It's been SOP for over a decade. As I described to you already. I shouldn't have to be doing this kind of work for you though, don't you agree? Like, if you're saying that you care about an issue enough to discuss it, then the least you should be doing is looking past the headline to see if your arguments are remotely tied to reality. In this case, they are not.

  39. If necessary, yes. Taxes ARE too high for what we get. Witness how much we spent on healthcare vs the quality of that healthcare as measured against other western countries. Climate change is not an immediate crisis and education has nothing to do with federal spending. Canadians have never been asked. Spending on the military has never been an election issue except when Liberals are in opposition and shriek about the "enormous waste" in buying things like helicopters and fighter. NOTE! Even they never say such things aren't needed. They just exaggerated the cost and then promised to start a new 'fairer' competition as soon as elected. Chretien did this with the EH101 and Trudeau did it with the F35. Both wound up buying the same things they had campaigned against only for more money due to their delays. If we are to be part of alliances then our allies have the right to expect us to contribute. In all likelihood a Republican will be in the White House in two years. And given the mentality of that party they're going to look very sourly at why Canada doesn't even try to pull its weight.

  40. The government plays accounting games to get it up as high as it is. And it wastes enormous amounts of money by using the military capital spending budget (such as it is) to buy grossly overpriced junk from Canadian manufacturers that the military doesn't even want. An example being those arctic patrol vessels the navy never asked for nor wanted. If we ever give them new frigates the price is going to be wildly over their actual value, too. Are we to brag that we spent so much on our military buying votes out east when the UK is building the same ships for less than a third the cost?
