Anyone who works in Canada has had to sit through Diversity training. Listen to lies about systemic racism and imaginary oppression. Let's fact check anti black racism and the lies about blacks being enslaved in Canada. The Conquest of New France by the British in 1763 gave New France to the British Empire. Yes, pre-confederation, which predates Canada, there was slavery. The colonists and British parliament were quick to end slavery. Upper Canada (which is now Ontario) abolished slavery in 1793/94 which predates Canada. In 1834, slavery was banned in all British colonies. This is 33 years before Canada existed. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Act_Against_Slavery On March 25, 1807, the slave trade was abolished throughout the British Empire – of which British North America was a part – making it illegal to buy or sell human beings and ending much of the transatlantic trade. On Prince Edward Island, the complete abolition of slavery was pronounced by the legislature on 1825, nine years before the Imperial abolition of 1834. https://humanrights.ca/story/the-story-of-slavery-in-canadian-history Now we know Canada that never had slavery but France and Britain did in their colonies. Of course, Canada is not responsible for the actions of the previous empires that ruled here but for context, the extent of slavery here should be explored. Between 1671 and 1834, there was an estimated 1, 400 Black slaves in the colonies. For the entire 17th century, there were only 7 slaves who were Blacks in the colonies. After 1760, the number of Black slaves in the colony increased considerably, from 300 to more than 800. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Act_Against_Slavery In the 1800's, the numbers also dropped with the above laws impacting the legality of slavery. Canada saved many slaves through the Underground Railroad. In 1834, there were less than 800 Black slaves in the colony. At the time of Confederation, there were zero Black slaves in Canada. Obviously, the few hundred former slaves experienced inter generational trauma. We are now in 2022 and hearing more and more about how racist and oppressive Canada is. Are we to believe these few hundred people from 1834 that were enslaved are still oppressed? It's been almost 200 years. Do Jewish people claim oppression in 2022 because of Nazi Germany in the 30 and 40's? Chinese people do not claim they face "barriers " in 2022 because of the Chinese Head Tax. Japanese are not talking about inter generational trauma despite WW2. All of three aforementioned groups do better than " whites " in earnings. Yet each has a legitimate claim to having faced systemic barriers and oppression. Why does only one group, based on a few hundred people 200 years ago, suffer from inter generational trauma? Now, we also have to believe that all Black people experience intergenerational trauma from slavery. Even immigrants from Africa who were never enslaved. Even people who immigrated here and are highly successful and would NEVER go back to their country of origin. People like Desmond and Anthony Morgan. Professional race baiters, according to some, selling their grift. Morgan makes 150k/year " fighting anti black racism" in Toronto. This is tax payers dollars. The anti black racism unit actually has racist programs that are only available to black people. Interesting that an anti racism unit engages in racial discrimination with tax dollars. https://www.sunshineliststats.com/Salary/anthonymorgan/2021/9/?employer=cityoftoronto How about Canadians who suffered through WW1, the depression, and WW2? That impacted millions and millions of people less than a hundred years ago but they recovered. If someone was one of the 1,000 people linked to pre Canada slavery, they had 7 generations to recover. 200 years to learn a trade/skill , start a business, acquire wealth. That is not a disadvantage. No one mentions in these diversity sessions that Indigenous and Blacks were also slave owners and that slavery pre existed European arrival. It was a common practice. Slave-owning people of what became Canada were, for example, the fishing societies, such as the Yurok, that lived along the Pacific coast from Alaska to California,[7] on what is sometimes described as the Pacific or Northern Northwest Coast. Some of the indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast, such as the Haida and Tlingit, were traditionally known as fierce warriors and slave-traders, raiding as far as California. Slavery was hereditary, the slaves being prisoners of war and their descendants were slaves.[8] Some nations in British Columbia continued to segregate and ostracize the descendants of slaves as late as the 1970s. Despite the British Empire abolishing Slavery, it continued in Africa. The African slavers continued to sell Black people and still do to this day. On any given day in 2016, an estimated 9.2 million men, women, and children were living in modern slavery in Africa. The region has the highest rate of prevalence, with 7.6 people living in modern slavery for every 1,000 people in the region. https://www.globalslaveryindex.org/2018/findings/regional-analysis/africa/#:~:text=Index%3A Africa Report.-,Prevalence within Africa,1%2C000 people in the region. Canada. Wake up. You're being fed lies and division and hate. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_Canada https://www.historymuseum.ca/virtual-museum-of-new-france/population/slavery/#:~:text=The slave population (show),and one-third were Blacks. https://www.sunshineliststats.com/Salary/anthonymorgan/2021/9/?employer=cityoftoronto3 points

Donald Trump's lawyers last week filed a 20 page declarative response to the matter of appointing a Special Master. In this document, the word "classified" and "classification" appear about 20 times, but nowhere do the President's lawyers claim that Trump declassified any of the documents. In fact, that claim has not been made in any legal filing yet. Why? Because it is bogus, and it cannot be upheld in court. There have already been Federal Court rulings stating that Classified information cannot be verbally declassified, without any system or process of notification. Otherwise, the relevant defense agencies would not know that the material was declassified, and they would continue to act as though, for instance, Secret Agent Man's identity is still secret, or that Secret Satellite System is still Secret, when it no longer is. Further, their claim that former Presidents have a claim of Executive Privilege is based on Executive Order 13589, claiming it gives former Presidents Executive Privilege. It only gives former Presidents Executive Privilege (which can be over-ridden by the current President) for the purpose of disclosing Presidential Records. Nothing whatsoever to do with keeping Presidential Records or Classified information at home. Also, President Biden has already stated that Trump has no Executive Privilege over his Presidential Records, so even EO13589 offers Trump no protection. In short: Trump's legal team is definitely afraid of claiming that Trump declassified any of these records, and their claim that he has Executive Privilege has no basis in reality. Looks like The Big Guy is in trouble.3 points

How could it not be under control? You're on what....5th shot now? In a year and half? Are the jabs not working? Is that what you're saying? Like it or not, that is the reputation he is getting from the rest of the world. Booster Nations - by Robert W Malone MD, MS (substack.com) In Canada, Justin Trudeau is threatening that COVID tyranny will return this fall if 90% booster shot compliance isn’t achieved. In other words, OBEY OR BE LOCKED DOWN…again! With summer about to close in, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is already threatening to reinstate more lockdowns, mask mandates, and “vaccine” requirements for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) if not enough Canadians voluntarily line up for the latest “booster” jab. And he expects maximum compliance. In a statement he provided to the press inside what appeared to be a hospital room, Trudeau argued that Covid is “not done with us yet,” even though the vast majority of the world is done with it. “We might want to be done with it, but it’s still around,” Trudeau stated. “And yes, we have a lot more tools, a lot more understanding, a lot more knowledge on how to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe. But we also know that as winter comes, and as people get pushed back indoors, there is a real risk of another serious wave of covid.” The only solution to that potential “wave,” according to Trudeau, is “to ensure that everyone is up to date on their vaccinations,” otherwise provinces will have to “make decisions about restrictions and mandates.” “The recommendation is you should be up to date on your vaccinations if you have had a dose within six months,” Trudeau added. “Everyone who has been a while since their vaccinations should look at the fact that we have new vaccines coming out this month that are tailored against Omicron that will provide better protection, and everyone should get out and get vaccinated.” “If we are able to hit that 80, 85, 90 percent of Canadians up to date in their vaccinations, we’ll have a much better winter with much less need for the kinds of restrictions and rules that were so problematic for everyone over the past years,” he went on to blab. “But every step of the way, government’s responsibility is to keep people safe, to prevent our health care systems from getting overwhelmed, and that’s where individuals choosing to make sure they’re up to date on their vaccinations with these new vaccines is going to help us all.” You can watch Trudeau say these crazy things here. The Freedom Convoy trucker protest is when I really started tuning in to what Justin Trudeau was saying, how he was behaving and the tyrannical decisions he began making. Trudeau has been on an extreme tyranny kick the past few years, and really seems to be enjoying himself and his ability to impose whatever nightmarish scenario he wishes with seemingly minimal pushback from Canadians. He invoked the Emergencies Act (passed by Parliament way back in 1988) and shut down people’s bank accounts, not just of the truckers but even those who supported and aided the truckers. I would suspect Trudeau is going to be met with resistance from the people if he thinks another round of plandemic theater is justified. In the video above Trudeau uses a mixture of wild hand gestures, frequent bug eyes, and spastic verbal inflections which show how truly deranged this manchurian candidate with a dictator complex is becoming. With the booster rollout already unfolding, we can expect the medical tyranny dial to be turned to maximum this fall and winter. Perhaps this booster obsession may finally turn on the light bulb for the masses who have lined up willingly to take the initial 2-3 jabs, that they would come to their senses and say enough is enough—no boosters for me, something is just not right here.3 points

Here's an idea: Open that incredibly thick skull of yours to the possibility that, just because somebody decides they're an R, it means they can still break a law and they should be punished if they break a law. Steve Bannon was given a Congressional subpoena, and he decided that he was above the law and the law didn't apply to him. Well, now he's a convicted criminal, it's as simple as that. Trump had four years to prosecute Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama or any other Democrat he wanted to, and he couldn't even issue a parking ticket to a single one of them.3 points

OK, here's my own post... Some people are saying ignorant and inflammatory things here, Michael Hardner for instance, so I'm just gonna say a few things to put everything into perspective: 1) The opening post is informative and thorough, and it sheds a lot of light on the bogus narratives of our so-called "diversity training" here in Canada. 2) Some people honestly think that there are black people here who are still suffering 'intergenerational trauma' from something that happened to less than 800 people over 170 years ago. That's really stupid. Here's some important historical context regarding slavery: FYI slavery was the most normal thing in the world to everyone, everywhere, for every single moment of recorded history, yet diversity trainers [and people like you] talk about it like it was unique to America and Britain. That's 100% wrong. What actually was unique to America and Britain is being a world power and abolishing slavery. It's important to understand that the Persians, Chinese, Assyrians, Egyptians, Greeks, Moors, Hittites, Ottomans, Mongols, Umayyads, Huns, Aztecs, and every other world power that you can name had slaves, and none of them even considered abolishing slavery. Abolishing slavery when you are in a position of power is a uniquely British & American policy. Some fools are still trying to vilify Canada for our role in slave ownership when 0.000000% of the Canadians ever born experienced slavery for more than 1 second. FFS, I know that leftists can't see the stupidity in their comments, but they should at least stay out of the conversation if they're that clueless.2 points

1) His post doesn't imply - it "proves". 2) Are you honestly trying to say that there are still black people here who are suffering 'intergenerational trauma' from something that happened to less than 800 people over 170 years ago? Why ask such a stupid question? Do you not understand the concept of historical context? FYI slavery was the most normal thing in the world to everyone, everywhere, for every single moment of recorded history, yet diversity trainers [and people like you] talk about it like it was unique to America and Britain. That's 100% wrong. Do you know what actually was unique to America and Britain? Being a world power and abolishing slavery. I think he pointed out since Canada became a country in 1867, there were no black slaves in Canada. Slavery had been abolished around 200 years ago and prior to that time, when it did exist, it was a relatively small number in British North America. So what is all the outrage about slavery in Canada? I think it is clear aboriginals in north America were not the saints in history prior to colonization many seem to try to portray themselves as.2 points
-
Excellent post with much very important information. I also read that, back in history probably before colonization, aboriginals who took slaves sometimes treated them brutally or killed them. I once found an arrowhead near a tiny island which was called Massacre Island. Apparently the aboriginal women and children, who lived on the island, were killed by another tribe when the men were away probably hunting.2 points

Yes. You, the FBI, the Dems, CNN, WashPo, etc. OMG what a liar. Carelessness is negligence. Gross negligence and extreme carelessness are the exact same thing. For your edification: https://www.mcminnlaw.com/difference-negligence-gross-negligence/ You just keep saying dumber and dumber things lol.... This one was awesome: Just so you're clear on how dumb your comment was, here's the definition of pretense: But in that specific instance I wasn't accusing you of lying, I just commented on your level of usefullness: Cultists aren't considered liars, just stooges. So I wasn't accusing you of pretext at that moment. Capiche? Here's another example of you using a link in an attempt to prove something, but you just end up hoisted on your own petard: Here's your quote, and what follows is from YOUR link: Gross negligence is a specific legal term. Extremely careless is not defined as a specific legal term there. IE, it does not have a different meaning, legally speaking. That means it's not a greater or lesser version of the same offence - it's merely a term without a specific legal meaning which has THE EXACT SAME MEANING as a term that does. Try to define the word negligence without using the word carelessness... It's like taking the long way around. It's like you're in Windsor, and you ask someone how to get their car to Detroit, and they say "Go west to BC and south to Arizona, then head northeast." Negligence = carelessness, period. So when Comey crossed out the words "gross negligence" and exchanged them for "extreme carelessness" he was saying THE EXACT SAME THING, only doing so with a term that is not used in legalese. The FBI's "objective vs subjective test" excuse for allowing extreme carelessness might hold water if the presence of top secret information was allowed to be stored on an unsecured server, but it is not. The "reasonable person" standard would hold water if Hillary was a layman, but she was not. She was a gov't employee with the highest security clearance possible, so she's not held to the same low standards as a layman. She's held to the standard of "a person with the highest security clearance possible". Hillary KNEW it was illegal to send/receive/store classified information by her training. Pleading ignorance at her level is not a thing. If the Sec of State/VPOTUS can plead ignorance when being extremely careless with top secret information then why can't people far below them in the chain of command?1 point

You just proved what the OP says. You as a liberal are also an evolutionist or Darwinist and believe man is just another animal to be treated as such. Many scientists, paleontologists etc. do not believe in evolution or Darwinism for a number of key reasons. One of Charles Darwin's greatest fears which he stated was that the fossil record would not support his theory of evolution with a record of transitional fossils. This nightmare for him turned out to be true. If evolution were a fact one would think there would be millions of transitional fossils showing the changes from one species to another over the hundreds of millions of years. But they do not exist. By and large the fossils are clear fossils of each species. They do not show transitions from one species to another. Renowned paleontologists will tell you this. Creationists do not disagree with the fact that mutations do occur at times as in the case of viruses or bacteria building resistance to antibiotics. But this is not Darwinian evolution. An example would be the new strains of Covid viruses that come out from time to time. Nobody disagrees about that. That is not Darwinism or evolution from one species to another. Holy Scripture says God created man in his own image and it says he gave man dominion over all fish, animals and the earth. He did not make man as just another animal but created him with a special place in the universe and in this way ordained the sanctity of human life. Evolutionism or Darwinism of course denies this and treats man as just another animal as my OP describes. That is what liberalism and most politicians embrace. So don't expect to be treated much better than another animal in the long run because that is what their ideology teaches them. In fact the public school system is teaching all children the same ideology. Liberalism is in the process of murdering Judeo-Christian culture and respect for human life and religious beliefs. We can expect nothing but evil and further destruction of everything society stood for over the millenium.1 point

First of all...congratulations to Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party. The leader of the opposition is now interested in Canada instead of playing the role of globalist stooge. I see a number of people lamenting this new leader. Claiming he's a "dangerous populist" and comparing Poilievre to Trump. So to real conservatives, I have this message. We've already seen the panic start. Claiming Poilievre is an evil populist. Indeed Poilievre is a populist...a nationalist. Its far from being shameful. It is now a growing movement. Wear your beliefs proudly. Know that while the liberal government media will try to tell you otherwise, Canadian nationalism is now "main stream". It's a very rational answer to the globalist chicken kaka we've been fed for years now. So be proud...be conservative...be nationalist...be a patriotic Canadian. If Leslyn Lewis is not enough evidence to show that the Conservative Party is not a hotbed of white supremacists................................ then Anaido Galindo Poilievre, had surely busted that myth. I wonder if Galindo-Poilievre had been with her husband as he campaigned all over the country. If so, I wonder how many non-whites and immigrants among that huge percentage of new members have signed up with him - because of her? Poilievre should have his wife do the same introduction at every campaign event! It's important for people to see that there's nothing to fear! I didn't even know until that night Poilievre is married to a Venezuelan. Do you? Somehow, media never mentioned that. Why would they? They won't mention it. So CPC - SHOW CANADIANS! Poilevre has a very sensible and practical policy for immigrants to cut the red tape, and let them work in their profession. We need doctors! Nurses! Care-givers! Etc. If we are opening our doors to immigrants for economic purposes, then let's do that! Indeed, I hope to see Polievre putting Leslyn Lewis and Roman Baber in high profile positions in his team. Concentrate on Quebec and GTA! And other places with large numbers of immigrants.1 point

I love the way you clowns post links and assume everybody else will do what you do and not read past the titles. OK so here are Trump's crimes you would have discovered if you'd read on: He billed the government for services such as airfare and lodging to his businesses. What a horrible capitalist swine expecting return for services rendered. He pushes an America First agenda over the Neo Con International first and the McConnell RINO Chamber of Commerce first agenda. So people are happy to donate for America First and he's happy to let them. The criminal. The Swamp wants to get Steve Bannon. Poor Steve, I guess, but other than that what are you hoping to prove? The Trump Foundation was formed before Trump decided to run for President. It was formed so he could use the money he got from his book, The Art of the Deal and donations from others to support charities the 501c supported. As is common with such NGOs money was slipped into questionable investments (See Zuckerbucks.) When Trump ran for President and won the Powers that Be decided this was one of those things that was different when Trump did it. Actually his kids were in charge. So the court made them give the money to charities it picked out. Boo hoo. The far left muck rakers at The Guardian asked the question concerning money in Trump's Save America PAC what happens to the money now? Well, that was back in 2020 and now we know. Like I said 8 out of 10 of the America First Primary candidates Trump supported went on to win. And that's just the beginning. I'm Canadian but even I get it...America First. People donate to support it and Trump makes sure America First Candidates get elected.1 point

Another problem is the unattractiveness of family practice to Canadian graduates. They’re not joining the specialty in sufficient numbers with the result that the patients they would have seen now end up in the ER. I don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t rebalance the income gap between the high procedure crowd and GPs who have a far more varied field of work. If young grads want more support in their group practices in terms of NPs, EHRs, physician assistants etc., then we must make it a top priority to provide it for them. Lifestyles and physician expectations have changed; we must accommodate what is now expected urgently if we don’t the situation to get even worse.1 point

This is the problem in Canada. The majority of people are asleep to the increasing controls and overreach that Trudeau has signed us onto without discussion or popular mandate. You’d think the hurt and division caused by the vaccine mandates, protests, Emergencies Act, ArriveCAN app, and passport fiasco would be THE CENTRAL issue alongside inflation, but half the posters on here who claim to want to throw out Trudeau basically support these policies or at least don’t care. I don’t support Poilievre in spite of his support of the Freedom Convoy; I support him because of it. The rest of his platform is middle of the road quaint old-worldly Harper and Chrétien. I miss that world too, but it’s not our world anymore. The defence and promotion of Canadians’ interests against international pressure to limit our population’s freedom and wealth to “fight climate change” and other global crusades are major challenges that Trudeau has already lost. Perhaps there will be a disclosure of abundant clean power that will make these debates moot, but I think the pressure on our oil and gas sector, freedom, and prosperity, will continue and maybe worsen. Maybe Poilievre can keep the pressure somewhat at bay. I’m not sure. I think the younger generations who understand the central surveillance and control possibilities of digital tech and are seeing their opportunities dry up understand what’s at risk. I think it’s too much to process for many older people.1 point

Just curious why is this story the straw that made you realize just how reckless the liberals have been with spending. I mean in just the pandemic years he spent well over 650 bil dollars, not to mention his yearly deficits over 8 years i don't know about you but that got my attention pretty early. Not sure where they got their figure of the age public service worker making more than 100 k or more, unless they are talking about those working directly with the government in Ottawa. I worked for them for 34 years in the military and 5 years as a civilian worker, and made not even close to those numbers and most years not even 1/2 of that. In any case those workers do pay taxes as well, and in the military's case with a lot less rights than the average Canadian and they make a lot less than average of 100 k a year... Anyways i glad you have come to this conclusion now rather than later, i wish more people would see it for what it is.1 point
