  1. Only because the dumbest dredges of society listen to him, and spend their money on the garbage supplements, trinkets and doo-dads he hokks. If you're going to laugh at anyone, laugh at them. Oh wait...

  3. Nationalist, you confuse love with sex. I fell in love with Jennifer when I was 5 years old. The Pride flag is not about sex. It is about respect and love. The purpose of flying it in schools is to let everyone know it is wrong to hate anyone and that whether you are left handed or black or gay or Roman Catholic, you deserve love and respect. There is no place for hate in schools or in life. The flag sends a message that bullying is wrong. "Christian" teachers who beat children are disgusting.

  4. You extremist types hate to take responsibility for your actions, don't you. His lies had a direct influence on these assholes, kinda like handing a gun to a guy who says he wants to kill someone.

  5. Sometimes I'm reminded there may still be hope for humanity. Alex Jones, one of the world's most shameless hacks and ridiculous conspiracy theorist, is ordered to pay $4M to the parents of a Sandy Hook shooting victim. Mr. Jones, as many as you may know, spent years telling the world that this was a hoax and the parents were paid actors and other such brainless nonsense. https://www.reuters.com/business/media-telecom/jury-alex-jones-defamation-case-begin-deliberations-punitive-damages-2022-08-05/ The mere idea that this sort of conspiracy would even be possible is baffling to me, considering the thousands of people who'd have needed to be involved to make up a "hoax" like this and keep it a secret, but Alex Jones never cared. All that mattered to him was that he could yell at the camera, and rile up the fools who watched him by telling them exactly what they wanted to hear. Whoopsy. Free speech only goes so far. When you're deliberately lying to people in order to make a buck, and when those lies are so egregiously shameless and harmful, and when the idiots who listened to you to harass and threaten people because they believe your made-up bullshit, the Law says you can be liable. Even a Texas jury agrees.

  8. Why not? There will no doubt be mis-informed children and adults exposing them to homophobia. They need to be prepared to deal with that misinformation. We should not be giving the mis-informed a head start in implanting homophobia in our children. The use of the word "deviant" is often given a negative connotation. Schools are a place where we can teach our children that regardless of their orientation, the deserve to be respected and safe. We still have a long road to travel to end bigotry.

  9. WTF are we wasting time with one stubborn recalcitrant ox for? If you so much as point out that acceptance isn't the same as encouragement he'll go off on a dictionary discussion on the meaning of the word "as" and call YOU the deflector. Time to let him live in his Old Testament fantasy and move on to discussion with people capable of rational discussion.

  10. Unfortunately for you, it really isn't as simple as that, and there are well-established limitations to the First Amendment with 100+ years of legal precedent proving you wrong. The First Amendment doesn't protect speech that directs to incite or produce imminent lawless action or that is likely to incite or produce such action. Fortunately for everyone, legal systems around the world are well-equipped to deal with the sort of goofy distinctions you would try to draw, or Alex Jones' lawyers would. When you whip people up into a mob, for example, it doesn't matter that you didn't tell them to burn those trucks down the street. You whipped them up into a mob and got them angry and spurred them to action (however vague), and the consequences (though not specific) were foreseeable. You likely won't get charged for burning the car yourself, but you'd be held accountable for setting the stage. That's how the Law actually works. You are responsible for your words and in many cases the consequences that arise from them. This is why slander and libel cases succeed. Your words have consequences.

  14. What, you can't handle the idea that 10-year-olds might be curious about romance and sex? Let me give you a story from the very rural area in which I grew up: 1. No rainbow flags in sight, they hadn't even been thought of it; 2. No sex ed in school, nor with parents ; 3. A sleepover with about 8 other girls; 5. Practicing kissing for when we get boyfriends; 6. I was deemed a bad kisser, so was relegated to holding the lantern; 7. I don't know how far the other kids went in their exploration; 8. We were between 10 and 12 years old. I have other stories; that one is the most tame. Kids are sexually curious and will experiment from a young age - even without rainbow flags, even without any mention of sex from parents or teachers. Your idea of an idyllic, sexless childhood is about as far from reality as it can be.

  15. "Alex Jones is guilty of defamation. Turn the water-works off mah." Your comments indicate that his actions aren't a big deal, hence they are passable. Of course flying a rainbow flag to signal that people are accepted is "disgusting" though. We can mock parents whose children were gunned down and don't cry for them. Just a dead child or a few dozen. That is ok. But a rainbow flag!? btw feel free to keep repeating our individual stances on this, I'm fine with it.

  16. Elementary students do not fall in love with anything but their toys and activities. None of which is sexual. Yet you and a number of others, wish to rob these kids of innocence and push sexual ideologies on them. I find that disgusting and damaging. Just keep your sexual horseshit away from little kids. Gawd...what a bunch of sick minds...

  18. Just a note on moralizing. This person finds the Pride flag to be "disgusting", but when Alex Jones was given punitive fines for saying that grieving parents' dead children NEVER EXISTED, he says turn off the waterworks. This person believes that they are moral. I think that readers here should be aware of the pitfalls of the moralism of the new populists.

  21. That's pretty wild coming from you. There's not a topic under the sun that you don't see and discuss without extreme political partisanship. You won't even admit that healthy people - who have absolutely nothing to gain from vaxing - are suffering extreme side-effects from the pseudovax, or that they still spread covid after being jabbed, or that the same people who are at risk from covid still die of covid regardless of how many boosters they have, solely because of your extreme political bias. Honestly, how much more extreme can it get than ignoring actual human suffering? Yet you won't even consider that it exists until the Demonrats, Libs, CNN or CTV finally fess up. The case could be made that you are exhibiting psychotic political partisanship.

  22. The point is that these people didn't ignore it. If I go tell your friends and colleagues that you are embezzling money, and they tell your boss, who fires you and has you charged, am I responsible for the damage done to your reputation and your job loss? Or can I use the defense that it's not my fault what other people do based on my lies? I don't think so; you'd be able to sure me for defamation and likely collect damages. No different for Jones - people got hurt because he lied about Sandy Hook, about the kids who died. It's ridiculous that people defend this behavior.

  30. Seriously? You don't know the answer to that? Jeesh...what are the corporate and state-run media telling you over there in Progworld? I can give you the money points. Under Biden they've been printing trillions to pay for their waste. More money on the market makes what's there worth less. To be fair it's not just Biden. Canada in particular and others are also offenders: https://spencerfernando.com/2020/10/07/the-bank-of-canada-is-printing-money-like-crazy/ That's the most important one. The other one I told you about years ago. Raise the price of fuel and everything from food to lodging goes up.

  32. Texas' punitive damages cap is an unusual law that will likely get tested/challenged (constitutionally if necessary) and probably won't hold up. What it amounts to is relative immunity for the super-rich. The point of punitive damages is to punish bad actors from profiting off of bad-faith activity, and if they make more money off that activity than they pay in damages, then they have practical immunity. Let's see how that holds up to a legal test, shall we? As far as appellants go, you'd struggle to find one who'd garner less sympathy than Alex Jones. He's guilty of defamation, among many other things. This is one trial of many. He declared bankruptcy with all of his companies to delay/postpone as many as possible (though the forensic economist hired to analyze his wealth determined this was just more of Alex Jones' bullshit). His legal problems are only just beginning. This idiot couldn't stop perjuring himself during the trial, was caught lying numerous times and told his viewers (while the trial was going on) that the judge was possessed. He's digging himself a nice little hole.

  37. You are talking out of your rear here my man. Canadians care about the environment. Maybe you don't. Maybe people in Alberta and Saskatchewan don't. Most of the rest of the country does. Liberal policy over Canadian pipelines (both here but then even more in the USA) has been asinine, ineffective and counter-productive, but that doesn't mean nobody cares about the environment.

  45. So, the guy who froze the bank accounts of people who just donated small amounts of money to the truckers now wants the power to red flag people who are "deemed a threat"..... Not much chance for government overreach there. Here's how that's gonna go down: -cops will show up at your door and say "give up your guns, you've been deemed a threat" -you'll say "But why? I've never done anything wrong." -Cops say "Your name came up on the computer. You can fight this in court. Here's some official-looking paper." -You think about saying "...to wipe my ass with", but you bite your tongue. -You try to navigate their idiotic new website, come to a bunch of dead ends (like on the Svc Canada website), give up, try to call in, be put on hold for 2 hours, navigate some more, give up to try another day when you have time during the week, a couple weeks later -try the site again, then send in a letter. Wait 4 weeks -You finally get a letter in the mail, a login for their site, you'll pay for an application for an online hearing, but they don't have a time yet. You'll wait a few more weeks for that. -after the weeks have passed, they will ask you a bunch of personal questions and about your financial history, exactly why and where and how often you use your guns, your financial status, your family and any history of depression there, etc. -If anyone on FB ever called you a name, you might not qualify to get your guns back. If you have too many FB posts which are critical of our dear leader, you might not qualify to get your guns back. -after a few months you have a 50% chance to get your guns back, but you'll never find out why they were taken in the first place. I've been on this earth 54 years now, I know how this shithole country works.

We need to alert the mushy middle that there are zombies in our midst using nonsense words and trying to convert them to the cult...
